The Silent War: FARDC needs the Wazalendo/VDP in the battle against M23/AFC

“Temporary capital of South Kivu, Uvira was the scene of an outburst of anger led by the wazalendo. If the arrival of a government delegation helped to ease the tension, the episode highlighted the growing influence of these militias, which are as essential as they are unpredictable supporters of the Congolese army against the M23. (Jeune Africa)” (News.CD, 29.09.2025).

Earlier in the year as the M23/AFC was advancing and the tide was looking bad for the FARDC/Wazalendo brigades, as the M23/AFC was able to tactically and technically savvy who was skilled in conquering territories. That is now continuing he fierce battle between government forces and the proxy militias are persisting.

The continued warfare and skirmishes in the Kivu Provinces aren’t over. They are causing enough headlines or concerns, but they should. The usage of force and extra judicial killings continues. The state is weak and the national army needs stable allies. The FARDC cannot handle this pressure and the ability of M23/AFC on it’s own. That’s why they need the support and the trust of the Wazalendo/VDP.

That’s a loss of the state that it needs this militia and outfit to combat M23. These Patriotic Defenders needs help and support too. The state needs to build trust and coordinate properly with them. The state doesn’t need tension and distrust with the ones who is fighting their battle for them. The FARDC is the failure here and they should be ashamed that they need a militia to do their job. That’s the gist here…

The Congolese Army needs to recalibrate and has to act swiftly, it has already lost to much territories to the M23/AFC and cannot afford to lose more. They need restructure and have a stable communication with Wazalendo/VDP. That is vital for them and it becomes more important, as the M23 will use any moment of weakness to it’s advantage. They will target and annex more territory. That’s what it does and it earns more profit of the loot. M23 runs like that and the state should be aware of that by now.

This game isn’t better, but more complicated and the President, the state and the Congolese Army should know their duty. The Congolese state and authorities has a task and they should know it well. This isn’t something new and insurgency has been rampant, but M23 have made a fool out of them. That’s why FARDC and Wazalendo/VDP has to act and do it with coordination. Certainly, the M23 is seeing and watching everything.

They are awaiting their moment to strike and when they have the word, they will hit hard and they will annihilate anyone in their way. So, FARDC and Wazalendo/VDP has to do the right thing, but I wouldn’t count on it. Peace.

Burundi: President Ndayishimiye calls all corrupt people “murderers”

”He who misappropriates state funds is a murderer. Take an example: the state builds a road, you divert the funds intended for it. Tomorrow, the road deteriorates, vehicles have accidents, people lose their lives… Who killed them? It’s you, who stole the money: you are murderers. It’s the same for those who steal funds meant for purchasing medicines. If there are no more medicines and patients die, who killed them? You, the embezzlers. You are, unknowingly, murderers” – President Evariste Ndayishimiye (25.09.2025).

The quotes of the speech of last week are finally hitting the headlines. President Evariste Ndayishimiye aka General Neva has unleashed his anger upon the corrupt civil servants and high-ranking officials of the state. However, I would think these words are hallow, as we aren’t seeing the inner-circle or anyone close to President caught into the crossfire, because of corruption.

As it is stated:

“Citizens in Burundi face high levels of administrative corruption as they attempt to access services. There is also grand corruption, implicating Burundi’s ruling party CNDD–FDD and actors in the security sector in the large-scale capture of public resources and affecting many sectors such as land, mining, tax administration, customs and monetary policy. These forms of corruption and the illicit financial flows that result contribute to Burundi’s struggling economy and drive other forms of instability in the country” (Vaclav Prusa – ‘Burundi: An overview of corruption and anti-corruption efforts’ 13.06.2024, U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre).

We know the CNDD-FDD are part in the grand-corruption of the Republic. The President most likely shares meals and eats together with people who partake in corrupt practices. Therefore, this speech and warning is just empty rhetoric. Because we know the man won’t challenge his loyalists and people who are surrounding him. No, he will have them there and he won’t touch them. That’s why we know the President only says this but allow corruption to go on simultaneously. Therefore, who is buying this?

Yes, corruption is thieving and stealing of other people’s plate. Yes, the corrupt are destroying and taking away funds, which was supposed to go to state or government programs. That’s why roads aren’t built, and salaries are paid. We all know this, and the President knows this perfectly well. Ghosts are paid on behalf of a living being. We have seen this and it’s so common practice too.

The President and CNDD-FDD can attack the idea of corruption, but we know who is doing it and benefiting from it too. That’s why he knows the murderers and the ones committing the crime itself. He knows who conspires to commit a crime and who earns the coins for doing so. This is why these words aren’t that hard-hitting, because if there was any sincerity…

CNDD-FDD and the President wouldn’t be known for their actions and how they are governing. So, please save the big words and big talk. When in the end… the ones who has the option and has the power won’t stop it. Peace.

Ethiopia: FDRE Defence Force says it’s their national interest to take the Red Sea

“For more than three decades, Ethiopia has been a pain and has diminished the dignity of her great country. Geopolitics has stood for its national importance. The issue of the Red Sea and the port of Asab. We are the pride of all of us, our country’s national interest is ensured. We are filled with great feeling of happiness that Ethiopian soldiers who are not able to pay for any sacrifice for our country’s Red Sea demand is publicly asked. ‎What also created this feeling of joy for us is the fact that our great Renaissance Dam, which arose from the hills of Guba, has become a reality through the sacrifices of our generation and has been shown by the world’s major media outlets; because we firmly believe that there is no reason why the Red Sea issue cannot be realized. We are not politicians. But this does not mean that we do not know politics. It is not suspected that we know politics when we talk about it and defend our national interests. Therefore, trying to “conceive the Red Sea and Assab port issue as incorrect from any perspective cannot have any logical basis other than being a bandit” (FDRE Defence Force – ‘”We know our Ethiopia very well because we will die for it lovingly and willingly”’ 27.09.2025).

The Prosperity Party and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali who has worked on overtime is now soon calling for another war. They have been persistently about it and the PM is even sometimes sounding like a victim. Making it sound like Ethiopia cannot grow or becoming dominant without the Red Sea or Assab port. Therefore, what was written yesterday on the FDRE Defence Force Facebook page is very compelling.

The choices of words and the article printed on social media is telling. This is a call to arms and a will to go to war. The article itself states it and says so with so many words. The FDRE Defence Force is justifying the invasion and annexation of territories, which doesn’t belong to it.

This was written on the official page of the Federal Army of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE). That’s not some random page or site, but an official source and state sanctioned as such. Therefore, this is a warning and a signal of what the state is willing to do. Everyone should realize that, because the state is normalizing the idea of invading Eritrea and annexing their territories.

This is all about the dream of the Red Sea and the Seafarer Adventures of Abiy. He wants his Empire as the uncrowned King he is. The tyrant and warlord of Ethiopia needs this to boost his ego. His doing this to make himself legendary. That’s why he has this ambition. It isn’t for the best interests of the Republic or the Nation itself. No, it is all because of what Abiy think will make him look better or be remembered as a hero.

Let us all be clear there is no heroics involved in this. If the FDRE Defence Force and the PP party orders this they won’t be heroes. No, these people will issue a bloodshed and more death. Abiy and his fellow comrades has to be held to account for what sort of pain, plights and suffering they caused on others. That’s what is coming out of it and it will be a prolonged war, which will only cause more conflict and less stability on the Horn of Africa.

This is saying to Eritrea that we are coming and we are preparing our troops to invade. It is insane, but that’s where we are. The Ethiopian Government are saying these things and publishing it. So, it has to be spread to the masses. It isn’t only war-cries or hints of wanting Assab port anymore. No, they are defending it and preparing the soldiers for it too.

The PP and Abiy isn’t joking around, but they are actually making people mentally prepared for the conflict. That’s because it is in National Interest to invade another nation and annex their territories. Just so we can own and control some land connected to the Red Sea. Peace.

Journalist David Mwesigwa “Offended His Excellency” so the PM ordered to take his liberties away! (Updated)

“Galaxy TV’s journalist Mwesigwa David, asked President Yoweri Museveni why we have poor health facilities in Uganda, especially in Mukono and Kayunga” (100.2 Galaxy FM Zzina, 23.09.2025).

“Prime Minister Nabbanja visits Mukono Hospital and confirms reports by Galaxy TV – Jikonkone journalist David Mwesigwa about congestion and inefficient service delivery” (Galaxy TV Jikonkone, 26.09.2025).

It is really some magical affairs and the Republic’s High Ranking Officials like Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja ordered the arrest of Galaxy TV Journalist David Mwesigwa after he “humiliated” and “questioned” the service delivery of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) at at the Nomination Rally on the 23^rd September 2025 at Kololo.

This is really something else, as the Prime Minister is known for ordering the arrest of Journalist David Mwesigwa on the 25^th September 2025. What is striking is that the Prime Minister saw it with her own eyes a day after on the 26^th September 2025. Meanwhile on the 27^th September 2025 his still behind bars and his supposed crime haven’t been established.

The journalist just did his duty and his job. He asked the Head of State about the service delivery and how he was securing the gains of the people. The journalist was asking directly how he was securing their future and how he has ensured steady progress. That’s what the journalist did and he just did what his supposed to do.

If President Museveni was humiliated or humbled by it, well, that’s because he hasn’t done his job. The President haven’t delivered or followed his own promises over the years. Neither has the state spent the needed resources or invested into the Ministry of Health. Because of it did, he wouldn’t get this question and asked about the lack of necessary health facilities in Mukono or Kayunga. That would make sense… but we know that’s not how the Old Man with the Hat operates. Everyone is supposed to be giddy, happy and show him honour, as his the Fountain of Honour and His Excellency. No one should pressure him or even make a fool out of him. Even if the facts are true and the Prime Minister was proven just that yesterday.

That’s why Nabbanja should apologize and pay severance for the pain she has caused to the journalist. She ordered his arrest and gotten him detained. The PM is the reason why someone innocent is behind bars and isn’t at liberty or has their liberty. His behind bars because of her pride and lack of understanding of others. Her blind loyalty to Museveni is just showing what sort of lackey she is.

The journalist has done nothing wrong. The PM shows what sort of leader she is and what her concerns are. She rather give someone retribution and punishment, which wrong, when he did nothing to deserve it. The day the NRM doesn’t run the Republic and doesn’t have power. That’s when she should be concerned, because then people could easily turn on the likes of her. As she wielded the sword way to easily and she didn’t think of the consequences of doing so. She became the law herself and she never took accountability for the lack of service delivery from her own government. That’s the fact here and that’s why we are.

This is evil and anyone should be aware. This is what they do and how they operate as a state. They think this is righteous, but people should be alarmed. Because only the life and the honour of Museveni matters. The rest are just peasants who can easily be deposed off. Peace.

Update (28.09.2025:

The reports of his arrest came to early, but there was several sources saying so. So, I published it in good faith like others. The arrest order of the Prime Minister is still on and was made public. Regarding, the current status of the Journalist. His not arrested or detained, but his hiding and self-made exile within the Republic. That’s a bad sign and shows what to come. I will update, when I will know more. Peace.
