RDC: Communique des FARDC (30.11.2021)
I write what I like.
“The youth of Tigray is perishing like leaves. Knowing it is defeated, it is being led by one who does not have a clear vision or plan. It should surrender today to the Ethiopian National Defence Force, to the special forces, to the militias and to the people” (…) “The enemy has been defeated. We scored an unthinkable victory with the eastern command in one day… Now in the west we will repeat this victory” – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali (From footage released on 30th November 2021).
On the 17th November 2020 after about two weeks of conflict and civil war in the “Law Enforcement Operation”. The man high on power and brief successive victories proclaimed to the world, that the Tigray conflict was in it’s “final phase”.
“The three-day deadline for the Tigray regional special forces and militia to hand themselves over to national defence forces instead of being a tool for the greedy junta has expired. Those Tigray special forces and militia who used the three-day deadline are appreciated, Since the deadline has been completed, in the coming days the final law enforcement activities will be done” (Abiy, 17.11.2020).
Now a year later on the 30th November 2021. The same man coming with similar threats. There been plenty of offensives and now a ‘counteroffensive’. The ENDF and allies has used all of their means to win the war. They have used all tactics and deployed all sinister means to gain advantage. This is everything from weaponizing humanitarian assistance, blockage of utilities, communications and whatever the Federal Government deemed fit. Therefore, the PM cannot think people will believe his stories now.
The PM did state again on the 26th November 2020 that it was the “final phase” and ending of the conflict. However, we know perfectly well that didn’t happen and the threats was useless. The PM and his allies didn’t have the knowledge or the strategic thinking to think differently. As the Tigray Defence Force (TDF) restructured and started warfare in a different manner of which the state underestimated. That is why they are on the advancing end and the ENDF is trying to regain lost territory, as it has lost 10,000 soldiers only defending the Afar region over the recent days. This is the results of the civil-war and the burden Abiy has put on his own people.
The PM is doing like he did last year asking the TDF and its allies to surrender last year in November. When the TDF and allies in encircling Addis Ababa. Why would they do it now? When they could have done it … when Mekelle was bombed and their territory was controlled by the Tripartite Alliance. Nevertheless, this PM isn’t that bright or smart to figure that one out.
He rather sounds boost-full and having it all in order. As the “survival campaign” and Nationwide State of Emergency isn’t regaining quickly enough territory or weakening his adversaries. Clearly, the TDF-OLA union has ensured the warfare to turn the tide. As they taking territory and planning joint manoeuvrers. That was a luxury the Federal Government had with ENDF, EDF, Fano and Special Forces all combating one enemy. Now this has become much more hectic and with several of Liberation Armies to beat.
The ‘counteroffensive’ and the publicity stunt of having the PM on the frontline must be a golden opportunity of the FDRE. However, it is also showing it’s weakness. As they are supposed to need the manpower of the man who should sit in the situation room and get all intelligence from the front. He should navigate together with the generals and commanders. Find the best strategy and not just look at the sky, the moon and the dust. Figuring out from which hill he should cross or what sort of trick he should pick out of his sleeve. Nevertheless, that is where we are and he thinks he can repeat itself and it will work wonders.
The fools that is joining his war and many are dying on the front. That’s why the 10,000 revelations shows what price it has cost the FDRE to regain territory in the Afar region alone. Therefore, the PM maybe needs to boost his ego and show some finesse.
Still, that is a lot too ask this late in the game. There is little wiggle room and the PM uses whatever he has at this disposal. We know the TDF-OLA alliance has hurt his prospects. We know they been able to capture lot’s of prisoners of war. That has been proven and displayed. Nevertheless, that has never ended the war.
The PM can be in public and create a lot of theatre, but everyone knows that this doesn’t win him the war. It is just prolonged and the agony continues. As the people are starving, struggling and the pain is delivered to the door-steps of even more people. This isn’t only happening in the Tigray region, which have gotten the blunt force of the state, but also in Amhara, Afar and Oromia. Where there is various degrees of suffering, because of the conflict. It all has to be addressed and the pain, suffering and the adherent needs are growing. As the state and FDRE vilifies the UN and everyone delivering “wheat aid”. Therefore, this isn’t becoming better by the day, but much worse. As we cannot know the true extent or what sort of levels of devastation in the Republic.
Time will tell… but Abiy needs new tricks and new measures. Since, re-issuing the same sort of statements. Only shows that his not winning, but slowly losing. Peace.
“If your energy, determination and motivation are well oriented towards making this country better, Uganda will be unstoppable. Therefore, it is a challenge to the youth that a better country begins with you. We need to learn from the example of our current President who in his youth in 1960s started mobilising peasants in his home district to embrace modern methods of farming” – Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerubaga (Felix Ainebyoona – ‘Kainerugaba tells youth to emulate Museveni¨ 30.11.2021, Daily Monitor Uganda).
The son of the President and His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni might think otherwise. However, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerubaga might think differently about the legacy and what his father leaves behind. Muhoozi can deny it and stifle the conversation. However, this man will not be known for farming or his cattle, but his rebellion.
President Museveni will be known for the civil-war and his rebellious way. We know what Museveni did as a part of FRONASA and NRA. It is not like his known for being elected and having a peaceful transition of power. No, he is known for taking power with the guns and not over the ballot.
If people where to emulate or copy the legacy of Museveni. It would be defiant and be cunning behaviour. Where he would promise pledges of change, but continue with similar acts of what the past leaders did. While claiming to be about fundamental change or come with a new vision. Alas, that is clearly not what the son wants people to do.
Because, he wants them to be citizens and civilians who serve the needs of the Republic. The Third in Command of the Army doesn’t want people to start their own armed rebellion to get rid of Museveni. Neither, does he want someone to be as deceitful, as his father either. If so… he must be stupid and foolish.
Muhoozi wants it sound like his father is legendary. That is not strange either. As he wants the legacy of his father to be noble and honourable. No, matter how many skulls, skeletons and decomposed bodies his father has passed over to stay in office. Because, that is the mere reality. This is why so many was tricked and was caught slipping. They lost one moment and it was fatal. That is the sort of political game his father is known for and the son cannot rewrite that.
I am very sure that the Muhoozi don’t want people to emulate his father. That would be risky and would be defiant of how the National Resistance Movement cares for it’s rebels. They usually use an iron fist and ensure they turn into bootlickers again. Before they are allowed or able to return to the fold. Therefore, we know the state and the ones close association with Muhoozi. Don’t want anyone to rebel against the state or the President.
However, if people wants to follow his example. They need to drop out of the NRM and start an armed rebellion after a failed election. If not join the armed diaspora and overthrow a dictator with the help of a foreign adversary and other allies in the struggle. That’s the two ways to follow his example and become like him. If not they can be a minister with his own private army, which he also had at one point. Therefore, he has been stable with militarising everything and use it as a way to get power.
So, I doubt that Muhoozi wants people to do that either. I can be honest… because it is not his farming abilities or cattle keeping that he his known for. Neither is it cash-crop mannerism and the wealth creation aspects either. That is just part of his schemes to stay in-power and nothing else. We know he is a man of arms and rebellion. That’s what Museveni is … and who he become. Muhoozi cannot change that… Peace.
The masses of our rebellious people continue their resistance activities with perseverance and determination to bring down the putschists, opportunists and remnants of the former regime, fraught with creative awareness which exposes and refutes attempts to circumvent its indomitable will, as today at exactly one o’clock in the afternoon processions of the revolution #مليونية30نوفمبر in the capital and the provinces, dressed in dazzling peacefulness and adhering to the same goals of restoring the path of civil democratic transition.
And the accountability of the coup d’état, murderers, and violators of our people’s inherent right to freedom, peace and justice, and the obstacles to achieving the goals of the glorious December revolution.
We in the Central Council of the Forces of Freedom and Change support and support the demands of our great people, and we will be at the forefront of the ranks in today’s processions. We also warn the coup authority against attacking the peaceful and free revolutionaries, for freedom of demonstration and expression is a right guaranteed by law and not a gift from any party.
We will continue to escalate the masses with all the forces of the live revolution, until the complete demise of the coup d’etat on the chest of the country.
November 30, 2021 AD
Today the former speaker of the Parliament and now Deputy Prime Minister Rebecca Kadaga came out with a statement denouncing any sort of ambition or want to stand as Presidential Flag-bearer in the National Resistance Movement (NRM). This after what she calls “fictitious reports” on social media about a possible candidacy for Presidency in 2026.
We know it was bad enough that she didn’t follow party-line and stood as a candidate for Speakership the third time in a row, because the NRM CEC did support her bid in the 11th Parliament. Alas, she has already rebelled once and gotten off the hook. While getting a plum-job after losing her prestigious role to Jacob Oulanyah.
What we are seeing here is that Kadaga have learned from history. That is there is no value in blind ambition or even aiming at the throne. You will just get your wings clipped and become quickly a “stalwart” of the party. Nearly a useless historical without any office or paid leave. The party and the state will just throw out and forget all the time you spent making a career within. Unless, you humble yourself and degrade yourself, in such a manner, of which the King gets his praise and his honour.
If you do that, you can get back into good grace. Hold talks and even get considered by the state for positions. This being Gilbert Bukenya who has gotten a role within the party or Mbabazi who has held secret talks with His Excellency.
Amama Mbabazi is the one that went all flying high, as the Prime Minister and Secretary General of the party. He aimed from within and tried to cause an up-evil. Mbabazi sought for the throne and the title. While seeking to do it from within. He thought for some reason that he could conquer and takeover from his master. However, that never happened and the independent candidacy on a NRM ticket became a thing. As his pressure group “Go-Forward” was able to oversee and become the flag-bearer of a joint-opposition coalition with The Democratic Alliance (TDA/Go-Forward) in the 2016 General Election. Nevertheless, the results was bogus and hopeless, he didn’t stand a chance and was humiliated on a grand scale. While the other opposition was rigged out of the title and the whole game. Therefore, the game-plan of Mbabazi was flawed from the outset and he should have known this.
Mbabazi showed the world that the NRM is only for Museveni and his clientele. The Supreme Leader and Majesty is the one and only. Nobody can challenge or even consider replacing him. That is treason and defaults you from ever having any sort of serious role or honourable title. You will be humbled and put in place. That’s the NRM Way and Mbabazi should have known better, but clearly he didn’t.
Alas, that’s why we are here in 2021. As nobody wants to go through life like Mbabazi did in 2015 and 2016. Wait for years and be secluded like a virus and be under self-imposed lockdown in your own compound. Just because you challenged His Excellency. Nobody with a sound mind will do this, unless they are faking it and trying to act like opposition. Nevertheless, Mbabazi has shown the world something and the genie is out of the bottle.
Kadaga wouldn’t have a half chance and would be an afterthought. She would be the “afternoon delight” and become a skit before half-time. That’s why the Second Round K.O. would be brutal and her career wouldn’t be able to resurrect. Unless, Jesus would bless her coffers and the Catholic church would atonement her sins. Then she might have a shot and would be able to carry the cross. However, we know the son is the only one who is allowed to have this blind ambition. Peace
