Opinion: Ruto’s Presidential Roundtable will only inspire more demos…

I have no blood on my hands. 19 people to the record that I have are dead. Very unfortunate, as a democracy that should not be part of our conversation. 2.4 billion of property has been destroyed. Office of the CJ, City Hall and Parliament have been burnt” – President William Ruto (30.06.2024)

Someone needs to enlighten the people of Harambee house and the whole Office of the President. The republic is burning and the President is oblivious to the fact. A President that thinks he can spin the facts, spew nonsense and think he can get away with it. This generation will not accept that.

The Gen-Z won’t allow it to happen. They are ready and will go out for more. They are not steadfast and wanting to step down. No, they will return and with the Presidential Roundtable. Nothing he said during the Roundtable Interview will be taken as good feedback or concern from His Excellency. There is no compassion, concern or even an ounce of empathy from the President.

Just stuff like this: “MPs are not fools and they are not mad. One day Kenya will know that the MPs who voted yes are the true heroes of Kenya. Those are the people who saw the opportunity for us to unchain our country from the debt trap and take our country to the future” (Ruto, 30.06.2024).

His Excellency must be in la-la-la land. Because saying this after the fact and everything that has transpired. Just proves that he never listened, never cared and never had an intention of listening. That is the proof right here. If he believes the MPs who voted for the Finance Bill of 2024 are heroes. Than he is a truly lost cause and the one that is slowly becoming the Former President of Republic of Kenya.

We all can see it and envision it. Further in the interview he even said this: “That is your assessment because you have never associated the truth with me from the beginning. Whether you believe me or not, facts will not change” (Ruto, 30.06.2024).

Facts are based on logic and what can be proven. He is deeming it totally wrong here. Just proving how easily it is for him to lie. When he says it like this. That’s when you know that he will twist words and make it to benefit him. Just like he said he hasn’t “blood on his hands” after every single body that’s been taken over the last few weeks. Ruto is a man of vicious violence and it shows by every day. How he defends it and how he stands by it. Instead of being remorseful or deeply concerned. His on the defensive trying to figure a positive way out.

Not to forget this one as well: “If I am called Zakayo because I have explained to Kenyans that the option we have is if we continue borrowing we will go down the cliff. If that is what is going to take for Kenya to be saved from a debt default, I don’t mind being called Zakayo because it is a sacrifice worth making” (Ruto, 30.06.2024).

What we are seeing is a man whose defiant about the protests, the demonstrations and the will to end his reign. A man who is willing to betray every ideal and every dogma out there. Just so he can stay in the State House. President Ruto isn’t willing to budge. He will lie, steal and kill, as long as his prosperous. That is all that matters. He out-hustled the hustlers. That’s the end game here.

President Ruto will only save himself, he don’t mind if the Republic burns to ashes, as long as he profits and endures. The lives can be taken, the businesses can be destroyed, but he overcame victorious. That is all that matters in the eye of the President. Peace.

Opinion: Ruto is busy with diversions…

The State House, the President and his whole team is busy scheming. It isn’t hard to phantom why, but he is very preoccupied in doing so. His holding meetings with clergy and whatnot to pass time. Just to try to use old means to salvage the hurt. However, it isn’t biting.

A 100 individual committee to appease the Gen-Z won’t do much. It’s much ado about nothing. That’s as pointless as the BBI and any other investigation reports that is left in the archive for nobody to listen to the recommendations from the Commission or the entity that made it. Therefore, Ruto think this outsmarts the youth, but it is too late.

Former President Ruto is living on borrowed time. He isn’t listening. His acting like he cares about dialogue, while his simultaneously abducting, keeping people incommunicado and extra judicially killing people. The same people his supposed to talk to and find a consensus with. That’s the ones he uses this blind vindictive methods of silencing them.

The leadership, the ones in office and in power is clearly jaded. Thinking old tricks will work. That these people will accept the merry-go-rounds and hope the government will act upon recommendations. We know Ruto won’t and he is partly retaliating against people too.

Not only the activists and the youths who dares to challenge him on the streets, the ones who occupies and who stands their grounds. No, his going after the ones that visited the Parliament and the ones who damaged businesses. He hasn’t uttered a word of grievances or concern for all the lives lost. Neither has he come up with any solution for the ones hurt, injured or detained. No, he don’t care about the plights and only about the ethos of staying in office.

This storm won’t end easily. The leaderless, the tribe-less generation will haunt the President. A President who doesn’t listen or doesn’t accept blame. He rather throw others under the bus and hope they can take the fall. Because we know the President won’t accept a finalization and a quick end of his reign. He rather murder or massacre people to be the King on the Throne. That’s who Ruto is and this is his way of life.

The life of a tyrant and vampire. A bloodsucker and vicious leader with a lack of heart. That man shouldn’t run a nation. A man with little to no empathy. His only concern is his ability to cling on to power and the highest office. There is no worry about people livelihoods or cost of living. He don’t mind their grievances or their asks for reforms. No, he only changes because donors and allies are pressuring him from afar. He needs the support of Western nations to keep his lavish lifestyle afloat. That’s why their acknowledgement and support is more vital then the ones crying and weeping on the streets.

Ruto wants to trick the youth and get them silenced. Get them busy with protocol and with empty promises. That’s what his good at. It is what has given him political life. The violence and usage of lethal force is to silence the ones who are to vocal or in the wrong space at the wrong time. He will also use the security organizations to muffle whoever that might be able or have influence to cause more headache. That’s what he does…

Ruto wants a diversion and he shouldn’t get it. Peace.

Opinion: The Ssabagabe gives you electricity…

You are in darkness because you voted for bad representatives; you voted for NUP. Now I have to shoulder your burdens and give you electricity” – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (27.06.2024).

The King of Kings (Ssabagabe) orders and decree things. He lives supreme and have all powers. His a man of words and his opinion matters. He is the true definition of power and a demi-god amongst men. That’s who President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni thinks of himself.

After all these years in power. After all this time. His still as vindictive and narrow minded. There is no relent or forgiveness. Alas, there is wherein lay the whole problem to his reign. That his so fixated at micro managing and not taking the whole picture. He rather scope on one minor transaction or con. Instead of thinking of the whole system, the whole package and how it works. That’s why his regime is built like it is.

President Museveni can say to the people of Kalerwe that they voted for the wrong people in the recent elections and that’s why they don’t have elections. West Nile have voted for plenty of National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidates for years, but they are still not on the national grid. I’m sure Karamoja sub-region are well established as “heartland” for the NRM, but they lack electricity too. So, this isn’t a party thing and who is associated where. This is a broader based problem and a lack of institutionalized or proper budgeting for the basic infrastructure. That’s what is the key issue here and his politicking about it.

The President should be horrified that this is an issue in the capital and so close to the Central Business District of Kampala. It isn’t far from Kalerwe to the Square or the Nile Avenue for that matter. You don’t have to use long time on a boda-boda to get from Kalerwe to the most central parts of Kampala. This just shows how little development and how little investment there have been to basic infrastructure like this. When it haven’t even gotten to Kalerwe.

This is government failure to provide proper services. The electricity should work regardless who they vote for. That should be something the citizens has access too and can afford. This is a failure of the “middle-income” nation that King of Kings always speaks loud about.

Ssabagabe shows his tyranny and his ruthlessness with action towards fellow citizens. It isn’t a sign of a Statesman or a “father of the nation” which is how he wants to portray himself. Instead it shows his arrogance and his bitterness of not being a beloved character. That’s because of stuff like this. Because, who as a leader would speak like this and think they would ever vote for you. It is something he should have fixed decades ago. It should have been a priority from the year of 1986, but we are seeing that this isn’t the case.

The fraud, the fake and the hypocrite of a man is exposing himself. The self-proclaimed King cannot be humble or try to act sincere to people. Instead he malign them, but he is the one that should be begging them. As he is a custodian of them and he represents them all. However, that is forgotten thing in the mind of the President.

That’s because the Ssabagabe is supreme and the rest of us is just mere mortals. Peace.
