Now that Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel is out of the picture and totally destroyed by the recent events in the Republic. Expect the next in line and the one who will be in the spotlight to be Adut Salva Kiir. The daughter of His Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit and the one who was appointed as a Presidential Envoy for Special Programs in August 2025.
She is now the one to watch. In Juba and South Sudan, expect her rise to be phenomenal and be out of the ordinary. If you thought BBM was unique or a character to be beholden. Well, just wait what can possibly happen to her. She will linger and become more important as time goes by.
The First Daughter is the one that is said to be behind the downfall of BBM. We don’t know that or can have that verified, but there is maybe something too it. She has returned from abroad and started making her presence known. Eventually, she would entrench herself and have a voice of reason with her father. That’s why she could easily sway and be the one that orders all the knives out.
This here is all about power-play and who has access. Some might say about the new establishment versus the old. The First Daughter is about the old and entrenching the inner-circle around the old guard. Meanwhile BBM was building a new one and the ones who wanted to loot the nation dry in a new way. Alas, they most likely went to far and didn’t cut the old establishment enough off. The greed took them and that’s when the President together with the First Daughter decided it was enough.
Anyone who cares about South Sudan and such. They got to look out for Adut Salva Kiir. She’s the next up and the one to be anointed. The ones who wants power and influence has to gather and be around her. That’s where to go and this is where it matters.
