If the rulers of N’Djamena wanted to look supreme or golden, than actions of kidnapping and assassinations wouldn’t be part of modus operandi. Nevertheless, the government of Gen. Kaka is just this. The military commando and the usage of force against the dissidents.
Abbé Madou have dared to challenge and question the ones in office. He has talked and addressed the plights of the people. That he has done from the pulpit and in church. A man who has used his office and his rights as a citizen to speak up against the authorities.
We know the Mouvement Patriotique du Salut (MPS) and the generals surrounding Gen. Kaka won’t relent. They are doing these sorts of things to stifle, silence and get rid of the ones who are becoming a bother. The rulers are only allowing the ones that can be corrupted or ensnared in their trap. Therefore, don’t expect this going well.
Yes, there is an outcry over Abbé Madou. There was a public outcry over opposition leader Yaya Dillo who was assassinated earlier this year. It is a lot of hot-air and things moves on. There people who are caught, captured and forever silenced. So, that the Gen. Kaka and his inner-circle can rule in tyranny.
That’s why innocent people are taken, abducted and tortured. This is to send a message and deliberately spread fear in the population. That the authorities and the state can touch anyone. Especially, if they dare to question or malign the leaders. The rulers and the ones in-charge won’t accept it. They are just supposed to blindly obey and follow His Excellency, the President and Gen. Kaka. Peace.
