Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC): Statement on the Right of Freedom to Demonstrate and Protest During the COVID – 19 Pandemic Lockdown (26.07.2020)

Zimbabwe: How to damage the calm of ZANU-PF [and “incite violence”]

Well, we can learn one thing of late. If you expose the activities or plan to undermine the regime of Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF). Than your “inciting violence” and will be charged with criminal behaviour. Even if your a journalist doing your job, just reporting on the matters at hand. If your telling the stories that the governing party doesn’t want to get told. Then your a the problem and creating the violence.

The violence, the inciting of it. Is in the fragile minds of the regime. The little bootlickers and the stooges of the party. The ones who is beloved and parishioners of the Junta regime. The ones who prays and obeys the high command. The selfless praise of ED and Chiwenga, like they are filled with the holy ghost and have the salvation of Jesus. However, we know both of them have not.

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe is mixing the economy is such a juggernaut way. That the US Dollar and Zim dollar policies losing sense. While raiding ECOCASH and ECOBANK is only to stop the RTGS Dollars from flowing. If not finding another money laundering operation to bankroll the scarfs of the party.

Whatever it is, it is not working and the state can only prolong the agony so far. The looses are piling up. The jig is up and the ones exposing it. Has to been gone. If that is Hopewell Chin’ono or Jacob Ngariyhume. Other journalists have been taken into custody and later released. That is just what the state does now.

Ngariyhume is inciting violence, because he wants to demonstrate against the oppression and corrupt government. He dares to inspire and rebel against the state. A state that had no trouble to incite violence of their own with toppling the President for Life Mugabe and have rallies against sanctions. However, when people plan to rally against them now. It is a criminal affair. Do you see the double idiotic standard? I do and I hope you does as well.

Hopewell has just undermined and exposed the government. He is just a savvy and wise journalist with no fear. Doing his job and proving his skills. That is why, a mediocre and lackluster administration fears him. Hopewell can find things and tell a story. Military men and propagandist can only defend and lie. That is opposite of what Hopewell does and that is why his behind bars.

Both of them are not criminal. They are both citizens, doing their jobs as citizens. They are in the forefront and battling for justice and equality. They are in the midst of troubles, because they are able to trigger the faint-hearted military men in power. The ones who doesn’t have the character or stamina to be questioned. They only know how to use force, because they don’t have brains to address things differently.

They are just promoters of injustice and impunity. The junta, the regime and the New Dispensation. When you can demonstrate yourself for your own cause, but when the citizens does, it is violence. Its foolish and outrageous. Not shocking, because that what men like these does. They cannot stomach or have ability to understand other people’s grievances, but they will expect you praise their every single breath. They are the majesties and the royalty of the Republic. If your not bowing your knees, your not doing it right. If you stand up to them. Its violent, because you displeased His Excellency and his court. Peace.

Crisis Coalition Statement on the arrests of journalist Hopewell Chin’ono and Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume (20.07.2020)

Zimbabwe: Chin’ono and Ngariyhume arrested ahead of 31st July protests

If your thinking the space for freedom and liberty is rising to new levels under the new dispensation of ZANU-PF. I have to tell you. Your wrong and its getting worse. As the corruption and inept regime is failing on all standards. Instead of fixing itself, it goes after its critics and trying to make the democratic space even smaller.

That is why the authorities for no other reason, that two voices against oppression was taken into custody. Abducted and detained at unknown locations. We don’t know what has happen to voices of the opposition. Chin’ono’s journalism have the ability to dig deep into scandals and expose the regime. This is hurting the pride of the President and his associates. While Ngariyhume is trying to use peaceful means to demonstrate against the ills of the government. The one that today just arrested him over doing a planned democratic protest.

Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono was today arbitrary arrested at his home and his location is now unknown. He gotten abducted and no one knows his whereabouts. They stormed his residence and took him away.

Zimbabwe opposition leader Jacob Ngarivhume (Transform Zimbabwe) has been arrested by state security agents. Ngarivhume has been at the forefront of calling for a citizens protest against corruption by the Zimbabwean government on July31” (Zim Local, 20.07.2020).

We have later gotten information that they are detained at Harare Central Police Station and ZHLR lawyers are there representing them and getting access to them. However, the arbitrary arrests shows the intent of the state. This is stifle the demonstrations and the voice of dissent. These actions happens directly to the ones who expose and who plans to show natural civil disobedience. Just like Union Leaders have been arrested for the same reasons this year. The same with MDC-Alliance leaders too.

The state just continues its oppression and take away liberties for the ones who oppose it. Certainly, the leaders of the ones who wants to demonstrate on the 31st July will be arrested. This is just the beginning. As the state will abduct and ambush the ones who voices their concern about how the state operates.

This here is showing again that President Emmerson Mnangagwa haven’t brought a new dispensation, but just revived the same fashion as in the past, but now wearing a scarf. Peace.

Opinion: VP Mohadi is useless…

“We got our independence but the white man never gave us knowledge on how to run our economy, we only know how to run General Dealers shops, the white man never taught us how to run a proper economy” – Vice President Kembo Mohadi

What legislation? What policy is Kembo Mohadi known for? I cannot think of anything. I cannot imagine anything he has done in power and as a government lackey. There is nothing he has delivered or done, that has made profound changes.

That is why its striking that one of the laziest legislators, one of the laziest in the cabinet and in general are blaming the colonial masters. The United Kingdom have their short-coming and did their bad things, while they were the ruler of Zimbabwe back-in-the-day. However, that is 40 years ago or about 2 generations ago.

There have been plenty of moons since the British had any say or did anything in Harare. It has all been ZANU-PF who has reigned and with brutal force. They have used the same means of the colonial to strike against the citizens. They were the new oppressors taking over for the old one.

That is why its very fitting. That one of the VPs are speaking out. One of the Deputies of the President in 2020 blaming the ones governing in the 1970s for the shortcomings today. No, it is not Mugabe and Mnangagwa. No, its Ian fucking Smith. The White Bastard of Rhodesia. Yes, the minority tyrant of Zimbabwe. Yes, he was a son-of-bitch. Yes, Smith was oppressive and deserved by all records to be overthrown.

However, there been plenty of water under the bridge since then. There been plenty of time to fix, amend and make a difference.

The problems of 2020 isn’t because of Smith and his bad regime. No, its because of the inept, corrupt and mismanaged rule of ZANU-PF. That is, it. We all know it is easier to blame someone else, then look into your own shortcomings. That is just what Mohadi did.

The VP looked to the predecessors, the ones in power 40 years ago. It is like blaming The Beatles for the sucking pop-music of the current age. It just doesn’t add up. The ZANU-PF, if they wanted too. They would have learned, they would have acknowledged and asked for counsel. So, that they could have fixed the economy and followed financial experts. Nevertheless, that haven’t been the case. It has tanked, because of how they operate.

So, blaming the leadership of the 1960s, 1970s and such on the trouble in the 2000s, 2010s and in 2020. Is beyond bonkers. That is not taking any accountability for the 40 YEARS in power. The ZANU-PF have had a lifetime to make things work. Instead they have depleted it all and blames its soon on the dead.

So long live the President, long live the Republic and Lord have mercy on the VP Mohadi, because he needs it. Peace.
