The Representative for Alabama Mike D. Rogers of the Republican Party is the main sponsor of a billed made to the Congress named American Sovereignty Restoration Act. United States of Congress that are now influenced by the mind-frame of President Trump. These sorts of fortifying and border security, where the national interests means more than the role of U.S. historically has had in the recent decades. This means that the United Nations, which the U.S. is a founding nation and even, had the founding father behind it. Are one of the countries and has an official bill to Congress, where Representatives are behind who wish to be out of the International Community and the Peaceful Operations that are the supposed works of the UN.
The idealistic organization who has most nations as member states, where they all are affiliated in different ways and signed various treaties, ratified them and made them into own legislation. It’s special that the Nation that has the United Nations headquarters and has played a pivotal role of the UN is thinking of leaving it! Therefore the precedent of United States leaving United Nations would be something we haven’t really seen before and what role it will have on the outside of the fellowship of Member States is also new. The U.S. is already not part of the Statute that are controlling the International Criminal Court, though they using the legal instrument as a tool to get rid of regimes from a far to secure U.S. friendly government. Therefore the wish of certain representatives in the Congress, proves the disloyalty and the disbelief inside the nation that has the UN in their midst.

“TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP IN UNITED NATIONS.—The President shall terminate all membership by the United States in the United Nations, and in any organ, specialized agency, commission, or other formally affiliated body of the United Nations” (H.R. 193, 2017).
“WITHDRAWAL.—The United States withdraws from the agreement between the United States of America and the United Nations regarding the headquarters of the United Nations (signed at Lake Success, New York, on 18 June 26, 1947, which was brought into effect by the 19 United Nations Headquarters Agreement Act)” (H.R. 193, 2017).

No member of the Armed Forces of the United States may serve under the command of the United Nations” (H.R. 193, 2017).
“(b) DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY.—No officer or employee of the United Nations (including any organ, specialized agency, commission or other formally affiliated body of the United Nations) or any representative, officer, or employee of any mission to the United Nations of any foreign government shall be entitled to enjoy the privileges and immunities of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1961, nor may any such privileges and immunities be extended to any such individual” (H.R. 193, 2017).
This here proves the new world order that the Representative from Alabama wishes to see, where the UN and USA government get divorced, lose all values and repeals all laws that are connected between them. The organizations that are affiliated with the UN will lose their place, the people who are connected and working with diplomatic immunity will lose it.
That the Representative Rogers and his sponsors of the Bill of American Sovereignty Restoration Act have clearly no thoughts into the price the United Nations are going to pay for them leaving. The slowly administrative effort of all the member states, not like the resolutions and legislation from the UN happens quickly. Therefore the sudden knowledge and the act of losing their Headquarter, privileges and opportunities in United States, might go away over night; as much as the United States operations and co-operations in Peacekeeping missions abroad. This should worry the UN and UN friendly nations. United Nations are surely in a pickle, they can condemn, but with that might trigger the Congress to really get this bill through the Congress and hope the Senate doesn’t stifle the ways of getting it into legislation. So that President Trump can write it into law and effectively get rid of international interference and questioning of the policies and internal affairs. A certain aspect that U.S. Congress, United States Government haven’t particularly endured well in past.
We can hope this doesn’t happen, because this will weaken the United Nation even more than anything. This will prove the real value of membership and being a Member State. Even when the State with VETO in the UN Security Council disappears and sends the UN Secretariat and their diplomates packing if the law comes into legislation. That certainly, isn’t only about being sovereign and independent from the rest. But they also lose their power to interfere through legal and procedure in collaboration with partners. That makes the U.S. weak and more expensive if they want to make changes that the U.S. wants to do in the future. But the Alabama Representative and his friends don’t think about that, do they?
