Ukraine: Meduza sources claims Kremlin hope Europe gets tired of helping Kyiv

Meduza: Kremlin still discussing attacking Kyiv. Independent Russian media outlet Meduza quoted undisclosed sources saying the Kremlin is discussing a possible assault on Kyiv and even hopes for a full-scale victory by fall. According to Meduza’s sources, Russian leadership is hoping Europe will get tired of helping Ukraine and that bloc members will have to agree with Russia on gas and oil before the heating season” (The Kyiv Independent, 27.05.2022).

It has been 93 days since the Russian-Belorussian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The “Special Operation” which was a war against a sovereign and the integrity of the Republic of Ukraine. Kyiv and the armed forces of the nation has defend the territory with strategic means and wisdom.

The West and Europe has been slow with helping, also been blocked and severely mediocre in their sanctions of Moscow. As it has been a lot of window-shopping, but not sufficiently destroying the economy. Only grinding parts of it to a halt, some businesses getting closed, but keeping the foreign currencies flowing in and profits, as the gas-and-oil industry is still alive. Therefore, Ukraine haven’t gotten a vital help in draining up Kremlin’s ability to wage war. It is still being a trading partner and the sanctions aren’t hitting home.

The military exports and arms trade to Kyiv has been slow. The West and Europe couldn’t endanger it’s protocols with a “no-fly-zone” and not offer MIG-19 Jet Planes, even when Poland was ready to offer their air-force to defend the neighbour in Ukraine. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and European Union (EU) couldn’t muster the courage or be bold enough to support that. Instead giving smaller munitions, javelins and other weaponry, which wasn’t as affective.

The European and Western efforts has been sort of the ones to buy time and get a public support in their respective capitals. While not offering too much or trying to sufficiently arm the Ukrainians as they are fighting a much huger force in the Russian army.

Kyiv has allies and friends, but they have been keeping it distant in some ways. They have come and been part of publicity stunts. While offering only small or too a lesser extent. The ones who has gone far and wide are the Baltic nations or Poland. Slovakia and such has also gone far. Not to forget the military support of Czech Republic. Therefore, there has been well-wishers and proven European solidarity. Though the totality could been even more fruitful and been with a larger support, which would sufficiently given the Ukrainian army an edge.

Instead, the European capitals, Heads of State has seemed hesitant and worried about offending the “don” or warlord in Kremlin. They are worried that Putin will be humiliated or lose face. While his armies are violating Ukrainian territory, raping and killing civilians. This is why Europe should support and continuously. It should be a never ending story of military aid to Ukraine. In such a manner that they feel trouble using it or enough manpower to bring it to the front-lines. That’s because we want them to overcome Russian-Belorussian invasion of their territory.

So, now that Kremlin hope Europe gets tired of supporting, aiding and helping Ukraine. Certainly, Europe should help even more and streamline it too. In such a manner, that the convoys and the deployment of consigned arms aren’t able to trace or been taken out of action before usage. That’s what the Russians wants to achieve as well. Therefore, Europe needs to step up and secure that.

Now that Kremlin speaks of this fashion after 90 days of the invasion of Ukraine. There is a need to step up and show that the European solidarity is worth something. So that President Voldymyr Zelensky can smile and grin to the bank. Because, it would look good if Zelensky came out in praise and happiness for the efforts made to strengthen his armies. That would be the best Europe could do right now. Nevertheless, with the hesitation and the worry of offending Putin. We can know that plenty will be too careful. As the needs are vast and they should consider another approach. Peace.

Ukraine: Civilian casualties as of 24:00 25 May 2022 (26.05.2022)

Opinion: The U.S. got a gun-problem…

The United States of America has a massive gun problem. The amounts of school-shootings and mass-shootings are staggering. The “lone-wolf” attacks with heavy weaponry and ability to shoot up schools are at imaginable levels.

ZeroEyes reports that 223,000 students have experienced gun-violence at schools between 1999 to 2018. The same NGO reports 229 schools have experienced school-shootings in the same time period. 143 people lives lost in these school-shootings 290 injured and the media age of the school-shooter was sixteen. That’s in the timespan of 1999-2018.

We can just think about the numbers between 2019-2022. As it has continued to spiral out and the numbers aren’t getting better. Everytown statistics from these years aren’t any good either. In 2019 130 incidents of gunfire on school grounds, 33 deaths and 78 injuries. In 2020 there was 96 incidents of gunfire on school grounds, 24 deaths and 43 injuries. In 2021there was 202 incidents of gunfire on school grounds, 49 deaths and 126 injuries.

These numbers are shocking and high. As the numbers of the last two gunfire incidents only in May month of this year will make it higher. It just barely weeks between them. They are happening at a rampant phase and never ceasing to end. This is an issue that cannot just be left alone. Children and innocent civilians are dying as a cause of all of this. It is a government who isn’t reacting or restricting the usage of firearms, which could stop this from happening. Instead, the representatives and the leaders of the nation is shielding the weapons and arms manufactures. If not they are dependent of the gun-lobby who is giving huge donations to their campaigns. Since, the deadly is persisting and nothing is stopping it from happening.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) and other organizations must have Congress by the balls. They must also have all the gun-friendly representatives in all important chambers or august houses of the 50 states. Since, there seems to be no end. The ones remembering Virginia Tech and Columbine High School ages ago. Would think these sorts of mass-shootings would be the stop of it. However, in the U.S. this has been continuing since then and is a never ending stories.

The only other thing that is constant is arming teachers, security guards and giving more guns in close proximity of the schools. The second constant is that the representatives are sending their thoughts and prayers, because their hands are tied or they are held at gun-point themselves. Since it seems impossible for them to either make legislation or even try to regulate the ability to purchase guns at any given moment. Instead it’s a free for all and everyone who with a pulse can get one.

That’s why the U.S. have a gun-governance problem and the price of that is the kids who dies on a semi-regular basis. When we know the U.S. isn’t able to fix the problem or the issues on the matter. They seems to need United Nations Experts to make a Report on the matter and handle that to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Since they could make a case and find a solution on it. If not someone should petition the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to discuss a possible peacekeeping force to stop this insecurity, which it really is…

United States is falling from grace. Their greatness is falling apart. Especially, when the Congress is so corrupt and hesitant to defend it’s own citizens. Because, that is the matter here. The U.S. comes to save people far away, but cannot manage to find measures to save kids in their own schools. That’s what’s tragic here… Peace.

Ukraine: Boris Bondarev, the Counsellor of the Russian Mission to the UN Office at Geneva – Resignation Statement (23.05.2022)

U.S. Supreme Court allows politicians to get the donors to cover their own personal campaign “debts”

The American Dream is dying, one step at the time. Senator Ethan Roark Jr. of Sin City is becoming the norm of society. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas did deliberately violating campaign finance laws just so he could petition the courts and get the laws changed. He has achieved his mission and by doing so. The donors, the corporations and the Public Action Committee’s (PACs) can circumvent certain stipulations and indirectly pay a candidate. Therefore, the candidate or politician will be beholden to their interests and in the end… not work for the citizens, but for the companies, lobbyists and other interests groups who is paying for their campaign.

The United States of America isn’t getting any better, but only turning worse. The Supreme Court is using benign reasoning. Calling it a political speech to loan money to fund their own campaigns. While we know the loans will be paid by the donors and beneficiaries of the candidates in question. This is ensuring the corporate candidates and the ones who serve certain industries to get massive funding, which will be pocketed by the candidate itself.

A candidate can take out a loan to his/hers own campaign of a ONE MILLION US Dollars and after the campaigns the His/Hers for House/Senate can cover these debts with interests, which goes straight into the account of the politician. That is self-serving and free money, a bribe that ensures the interests of the companies or industries are taken care off. So, it is so weird that this getting allowed, but shows what the Supreme Court really believes in.

Here’s the vital information:

The U.S. Supreme Court’s conservative majority on Monday continued a decades long dismantling of federal campaign finance limits in a divided decision in favor of Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz. The 6-3 ruling, written by Chief Justice John Roberts Jr., struck down Section 304 of the 2002 federal Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act that limited post-election contributions to repay a candidate’s personal campaign loans” (Zack Needles – ‘Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz Wins Federal Campaign Finance Limits Case Before U.S. Supreme Court’ 16.05.2022, Texas Lawyer, Law.com).

For the reasons set forth, we conclude that Cruz and the Committee have standing to challenge the threatened enforcement of Section 304 of BCRA. We also conclude that this provision burdens core political speech without proper justification. The judgment of the District Court is affirmed” (Federal Election Committee Versus Ted Cruz for Senate, May 16, 2022).

The next U.S. elections the campaigns can get vast loans from the candidates themselves. While later cash-that-in, as they are fundraising and getting donor funds from various of sources. All of these sources and lobbyists are doing so for their interests and policy needs. Therefore, we all know the gist of this.

The U.S. elections and campaign funding is already a corporate white-wash of funding. This is just tripling down and ensuring a “sign-on-fee” for politicians, which is only have been known for athletes. If not it is securing a means for an advance by “loaning” to your own campaign and getting a donor to cover the “debt”. So, in return the candidate will cash-in and get refunded this as personal revenue.

Ted Cruz and the current Supreme Court has made it possible for the rich candidates to enrich themselves on their own campaigns. In some regards, the way and manner of which they are elected has now also become a cash-grab for the wealthy representatives of Washington D.C. The Republican’s are clearing the swamp, but creating a bigger one. Where they are destroying the rules and opening up all avenues for creating personal wealth. While they are hoping the public doesn’t see or doesn’t care. Because, this is just a way of gaining more money on the job. Since the campaigns are part of the lifestyle and needs to get elected into office. Now the way of getting the job is also a possible way of getting vast profits. This is defended by need of political speech.

So, in the minds of the Supreme Court moving money from one account to another is a sign of political speech. Clearly, the banks of JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, CitiGroup and such will be really happy about this. They don’t even need to get this politicians to hold speeches and get paid. No, they can just donate funds, which will cover the “debts” of the candidates and that will go right into the pocket of whoever they deem fit for their cause. Peace.

Opinion: Putin waged a war on Ukraine [and cannot manage the reaction from Finland]

The presidents had a sincere exchange of views over the announced decision by Finland’s leadership to apply for NATO membership” (…) “Vladimir Putin stressed that rejecting the traditional policy of military neutrality would be wrong since there are no threats to Finland’s security. Such a change in the country’s foreign policy course could have a negative effect on Russia-Finland relations, which have been built over the course of many years in the spirit of neighborliness and partnership cooperation and have a mutually beneficial nature” the Kremlin noted” (TASS – ‘Finland’s rejecting military neutrality policy would be wrong, says Putin’ 14.05.2022).

We are now 80 days into the war in Ukraine. There is 80 days since the Russian-Belorussian invasion of Ukraine. That bloody war has had a lot reactions and resulted in diplomatic changes across Europe. The Russians and Kremlin most likely didn’t plan or think this would have such affects to attack a sovereign Republic. The Russians was just re-taking what was theirs and doing it, because the Ukraine has no nationhood. That is how they proclaimed it, but everyone knows that Ukraine has a vast history and is a historical territory. Therefore, the justification to do so is fraudulent and only done so Putin could get a buddy in-charge of Kyiv.

We know now that Kremlin and Russia doesn’t respect the sovereignty of the neighbour nations. The current leadership has no issues to take territory and annex it. The Russians has no issues using every reason under the sun to attack, kill and destroy a former USSR republic. That is what the world has learned from Putin the last three months.

So, Putin is said to be a brilliant strategist. However, him and Kremlin is only coming out with warnings to the neighbours. The Russians are coming with stern words and saying it will destroy relations. However, what else are the nations supposed to do? Are they supposed to wait their turn to be violated? Is Finland, Sweden, Moldova, Georgia and whoever else supposed to wait for their turn?

Because, that is what Russia wants… they want all the sovereign countries in their proximity to be non-aligned and be a free-for-all. The Kremlin and Duma wants the former USSR and other neighbours to be totally neutral. In such a manner, that they have no friends and relations who can help them, if they get attacked or invaded by Russia. That is what I understand from this.

Putin wants the power and the ability to attack them. Kremlin wants the sovereignty and integrity to control its neighbours. While the nations themselves are not allowed to make alliances or be parts of the rest of the Europe. That is what Putin wants.

Putin wants total suction and influence. He don’t want nations to go towards Europe or the West in general. Finland and other nations are seeking NATO or EU to get into an alliance or common trading market, which is beneficial for them. The memberships of NATO or EU is helping them both by having European allies. Therefore, that is hurting Russians and their influence in Eastern Europe.

Kremlin should reconsider itself. Putin should think for once that people react and realign themselves when they see what the Russians are willing to do. The Russians waged war on Ukraine and the rest of Europe is changing because of it. It is just like Putin thinks a war doesn’t have consequences and wouldn’t possibly backfire on him.

Helsinki changed their position and saw a need to get closer to their allies. As the “neutrality” would be a danger for them. They are seeing what is happening to Kyiv and it is only wise to seek a defensive alliance. When the Russian Federation is attacking a sovereign neighbour like Ukraine. Peace.

Opinion: Macron should be concerned saving his own face – not delegate sovereign Ukrainian territory to Russia

Interviewed by Italian TV Rai1, Zelensky confirmed that Macron has proposed for Ukraine to give up some territory to Russia in order to present a face-saving option for Putin. Zelensky said it’s out of the question. Macron is the one who needs to save his face after this” (Visegrád 24, 13.05.2022).

The newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron is sounding like a Kremlin apologist. Would have anticipated this from some of the Russian buddies in Budapest, but not from Paris. However, the war in Ukraine is only showing who is pandering to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Macron is one of them and he is willing to give up territory to appease Putin. The French President is willing to make a new Munich Agreement of 1938 to appease the Russian dictator of the day. The same way several powers within Europe defended Germany’s rights at that time to territory within Czechoslovakia. They did that to settle and give Europe peace, but we knew that wasn’t enough for Hitler. We can most likely say that giving Donbas or the two separatist regions within Ukraine to Russia will not give Europe peace in 2022. It is only postponing it and possible gives Moscow more reason to invade the whole of Ukraine, which it is currently trying to do.

That’s why Macron shouldn’t be concerned about saving the face of Putin. He should be worried about the innocent civilians, the destruction and the war-crimes happening within Ukraine. That’s would make sense, but his instead wanting to do a Neville Chamberlain move and settle grievances in regards to Putin, instead of listening to Kyiv. That is very obvious here and we all know what Hitler did to the rest of Czechoslovakia.

Also, in this manner… Macron should be worried about his own sovereign territories and integrity, as there are independence movements and resistance on the island of Corsica. That is something he has to deal with. Corsica must be listened too and there is possibly talks of some “autonomy” but we don’t know what is happening with that. Therefore, he should be concerned there and possibly not lose face over that himself.

The French President should try to talk to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He should try to understand the devastation of the war. The French President should understand the constant threat and how the Russians has violated Ukraine for years. The French President should study and understand how the Russians has breached the Budapest Memorandum and also the Minsk Agreement. Therefore, he shouldn’t pander to Putin, but listen to the needs of Ukraine.

It is really despicable of Macron as the Ukrainian are defending their rights. I wonder, if the French would give up any territories or even some of their influence in former colonies even? Isn’t just a little while ago, the French called out Bamako and their acts of ceasing relations or even military agreement with them. That is just showing the double standard of the French and old French Empire.

Macron should be concerned about France and Corsica at this point. In the mean time, he should use the strength and greatness of France to support Ukraine. Not be there as an unknown ally of Putin. That is just wrong and in the midst of war. Macron should be a brother to Zelensky and not be a buddy to Putin. Unless, he wants to be allied with dictators and support them.

We know the French supports the likes of Paul Biya, Faure Gnassingbe and others in the former West African Colonies. So, it would fit the programme of Paris. However, we would think the French had more foresight, but clearly not. Peace.
