Opinion: Where is TVO?

I cannot be the only one missing him. His is totally MIA or Missing In Action. It is like his vanished and ceased to exist. Tom Voltaire Okwalinga or TVO has just stopped to operate. The last post on Facebook was back in the 1^st November 2020. Since then there has been radio-silence. Not a word, memo or anything. It just stopped…

TVO went from stirring things up online. Dropping nuggets of intelligence and internal government leaks. He spoke with analysis of the political landscape and with disdain for the Museveni presidency. TVO went hard on the authorities and the government in general. There wasn’t a day or a moment he didn’t cease the moment to reveal the brutal truth. However, here we are in 2023 and it’s been years since he uttered a word.

TVO came onto the scene in 2010 ahead of the 2011 elections. He gotten himself a name and was well known for his theatrics ahead of the 2016 elections. The years between 2011 and 2016 he dropped gems after gems. The authorities has arrested several of people they claimed to be him. However, nothing has ever been proven, if it was Robert Shaka, Titus Seruga or Roland Kaweesi. There was even speculations that it was a IT Crew and hackers based in Albania doing it. Therefore, the knowledge of who he is or what he does is unknown.

That’s why you can be even more curious after a man has been in the wind for so long. Especially since he did for a decade. Suddenly just stopped… without any fanfare or final goodbye. He just stopped. Went back into ghosting society and being another citizen. Instead of being an internet nuisance to the state.

On his about page on Facebook he proclaims to be “the last one standing”. At this very moment it is hard to know anything. Everything is just speculation and nothing is verified. It’s just hearsay and guessing games. Because, a prominent man like this doesn’t just go silent over nothing. That happens for reason… especially when his so tech-savvy and able to go under the radar for so long. As his mocking the authorities for arresting the wrong fella. That’s the sort of dude, TVO was… and that’s why it’s bugging me.

We can just wonder what happened… did the man get bored? Because, he wasn’t a fan of the red-wave and the NUP… is that why he went silent? You can really wonder if he died or just wanted to spend time with his family…. There is no word or statement… neither is there any signs or reasons for the silence. It just occurred and now there is nothing.

TVO was a master and did make headlines. He was able to stir a conversation and also challenge the ones in power. That’s why so many followed him and took his “intelligence” seriously. Alas, now that’s all gone… and his in the wind. A man whose either missing, incommunicado or just took a long “vacation”.

It is just striking that a man who created such a fuzz. Just didn’t continue and didn’t even say a “goodbye”. He just left and didn’t think much of it. TVO is just a distant memory and we will not forget. Peace.

Opinion: General Aronda’s sudden demise and unanswered reasons for it…

“..point number one, am annoyed because Aronda died from a condition that either wasn’t detected or if detected wasn’t addressed properly” – Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at the Funeral of Gen. Aronda

General Aronda Nyakairima sudden demise and death have always boggled me. I have never had the ability to let it go. As he was an astound and respected general. Someone who was standing by his orders and by his office. That is why I really wonder, what really happen. Because, there are some issues that doesn’t add up.

That is why I just have these different sources. I do now, what has happen, but the lack of answers further undermine the stories itself. It doesn’t help that New Vision and other News Organizations have deleted content in regards to sudden demise of the General. That adds to further speculations, as the state wants to keep it a secret and not really tell what happen.

Here are a few sources, that adds to further speculation. That without taking the allegations made by Tom Voltaire Okwalinga (TVO), whose had plenty to say about the death of Gen. Aronda. Therefore, just sources, that I see as reliable in this matter.

Official reason:

“The spokeswoman of ministry of interior affairs Ms Pamela Ankunda confirmed the death of Aronda, she says General Nyakairima died last night on board a flight from South Korea to Uganda. General Nyakairima who left Uganda in good health according to unconfirmed reports died of cardiac arrest on transit to Dubai from South Korea. According to ministry officials, Gen Nyakairima had travelled on official duty and was in a health condition” (South Sudan Liberty News – ‘UGANDAN INTERIOR AFFAIRS MINISTER GENERAL ARONDA NYAKAIRIMA IS DEAD ON BOARD PLANE FROM SOUTH KOREA’ 12.09.2015).

Dr. Kizza Besigye statement:

“Even in the best of times, sudden death raises strong suspicion of possible foul play. Yet, Gen Aronda’s death happened in times that cannot be remotely considered as good. It occurred against a background of many suspicious deaths of high-ranking government and military officials. It also happened against a background of a specific warning that his life could be in eminent danger. The concerns spelt out in the Gen Sejusa’s letter, which triggered serious fallout in government security circles cannot be ignored, when such a death occurs. It’s prudent that all possible angles relevant to the inevitable investigation into the cause and circumstances surrounding Gen Aronda’s death are explored. This is important for the family, the government and the country at large. It’s wrong to hush up any information that may have relevance to establishing the cause of death”(Kizza Besigye – ‘FARE THEE WELL GENERAL ARONDA NYAKAIRIMA’ 14.09.2015).

Widows statement:

“Speaking to thousands of mourners at Kololo Independence grounds where requiem prayers were held today, Lindah said for the 19 years that she has been married, she has never seen any such symptoms of heart failure. “This heart problem that you are talking about, OK, it may have been there but we have never seen it. My [two] children are my witnesses”, she said. “…The 20 years we have been with my husband, I have never seen him fail to get out of bed [because he was] sick.” She said they got married on April 13, 1996” (The Observer – ‘Aronda: widow ‘questions’ heart attack postmortem report’ 18.09.2015).

Big Eye Sources:

“Sources say he died of cardiac arrest. However, another trusted source said that the army man could have died of food poisoning. Furthermore, the source says he had complained of stomach pains before facing his untimely demise last night on his flight to Dubai” (Big Eye – ‘Breaking News: Gen. Aronda Nyakairima dead, here’s what killed him’ 12.09.2015).

Bad Omen?

“On September 11, the 56-year-old minister of internal affairs, General Aronda Nyakairima, died mysteriously on a flight from South Korea to Dubai. There were rumors that he — like others who might not have carried out President Museveni’s biddings with complete perfection — was poisoned. (Museveni did himself no favors to delegitimize this notion by behaving dubiously at the funeral.) But that wasn’t the only theory. Another one soon arose and gained significant traction: He had been killed by the Amuru women — fragile old ladies who never laid a finger on him and hadn’t even seen him for half a year” (Phil Wilmot – ‘Did grandmothers kill a government minister, nonviolently?’ 08.01.2016, Waging Nonviolence).

Well, this is what is available of possible sources. I don’t know, but since its like this and unanswered. Secondly, not even tried to do a proper investigations on why he died. Something that Besigye asked for and no authority, no security organization or anyone delivered upon.

Like they where afraid of the possible truth and what they could find. Certainly, the closed books, the secrets and the rumours are there for a reason in this matters. As high-ranking officials doesn’t just die over nothing. A General of the higest esteem at the time. They stop for a reason and becomes someone who somebody needs to be stopped. Because, to me, this doesn’t add up and there must be something hidden somewhere. That will unleash the truth. Reveal the missing dots and configure the reasons for his sudden demise. 

A demise like this, doesn’t happen over nothing. Alas, I don’t have the answer, I really don’t, but the mismatch of stories, the rumours and the allegation will continue to linger on. Until answers are provided and have settled the matter. Peace.

Opinion: NRM works on overtime to delegitimize the FDC though various media, since they are themselves an illegitimated regime!

There are running battles between the shadows of the Movement and the Forum for Democratic Change has been going on for a while. This has happen as Secretary General Nathan Nandala-Mafabi wrote this in the EALA Nomination letter to the 10^th Parliament wrote: “These clearly spell out the positions of the Ruling Party and the Official Opposition Party in the multiparty democracy. In regard to numerical strength. EAC Treaty is also clear on multiparty democracy”.

So now that the FDC is the official opposition party and not the winner of the General Election 2016, even though the rigging master Eng. Dr. Badru M. Kiggundu of the Electoral Commission and the deputy chief justice Stephen Kavuma had to ban the campaign of defiance, that was the Presidential Candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye who run hard against the ruling party and the ruling regime of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his National Resistance Movement.

So with that in context, the months after has been smeared with irregularities and malfunctions as the NRM and their Police has targeted FDC with full force. This they did with detaining members and leaders without court order, house-arrests, blocking of the headquarters and all sorts of other injustices done with an ordinary fashion of contempt of the constitution and law. These have been done as the 10^th Parliament was sworn-in and the President was busy having dignitaries from Turkey and South Korea.

Now that 2017 has arrived and ever since December 2016 the Independent Magazine editor and founder Andrew Mwenda has gone all wild on social media. At the same time TVO has disgraced him and his magazine. The graceful attempts have not been there as the words have addressed each other in fashions that would be in bars and not all in public. So Mwenda are using all tricks with his connections as he even seemingly has traded his popularity and his work ethic for goods from the ruling regime. Because he has gone from being a fierce critic of the Movement and now he defends them.

With this in mind Mwenda has attracted and attacked with more and more staunch words, even as he becoming a laughing stock and a wild-card. Even if he would have pieces of truth, the spin and the propaganda fashion of it all is spoiling facts that might be there. Just like Uganda Media Centre and Hon. Ofwono Opondo spills the beans and defends the Movement with all means. Though his entitled way of sounding more like a NRM Spokesperson than a man who is government spokesperson is showing the transgression of the party itself; just like the NRM inner party election for the EALA done over two days there.

This is still not an issue in nation of Uganda and under the rule President Museveni, which want to be legitimate by every mean possible. Therefore he uses the media and false stories on NTV Uganda where the Party Constitution of FDC is in question. As NTV Uganda wrote yesterday:

“A plan to amend the constitution of Uganda’s main opposition party, the Forum for Democratic Change could cause a huge rift among its members if it goes through. The plan is to change clauses in the constitution to allow former FDC leaders another go at the helm of the party. According to the movers, many of FDC’s past leaders have been rendered useless to the party and yet they still have a lot to offer.” (NTV Uganda, 08.02.2017). However, as the story unfolded the FDC leadership debunked the story, Besigye said he would never run as a candidate under that or heard about it. TVO came out saying it was Mwenda who was the source and Hon. Francis Mwijukye wrote this about the farce:

“ Am told that there was a confusing story on NTV last evening about ammending the FDC constitution. Will be hosted on NTV Uganda 8.00 to 8.30am today morning. Let me go and make it clear. I think I was misquoted” (…) ”We were asked about the future of former FDC leaders and party founders. All I said was that I would support an inclusion in the party constitution of a party organ to deal with a council of Elders whose sole role would be to advise where necessary and for institutional memory. There was nothing like allowing former leaders to compete for top FDC positions in the party asked to me. Otherwise I can’t support that amendment” (Mwijukye, 08.02.2017).

When the higher echelons from the FDC are addressing the matter nearly simultaneously with the clip of the story aired, there are clear indications of malpractices in the standard. The NTV surely did this for political purposes. Just as there we’re reports that NTVs Sheila Nduhukire did directly celebrate with the NRM Party when they had done their EALA Primary Elections at the State House. Certainly the media and media houses are getting to close to the ruling regime.

We can just expect that government fuel illegitimate stories in their portrayal to demoralize and legitimize their own existence in power. Because they cannot do it by their own merit anymore, that gravy train left the station long time ago. They will use all means to establish and make the blatant ignorance of Mwenda and use their connections in NTV Uganda to portray the FDC as wolfs or even better wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The NRM and the Movement cannot sell the truth at this point, because that will undress their own existence and their own established fanfare of just cause. The probable cause that has left long time ago, the decades of bribes, thieving and misgivings has now caught up with them. The rigging and ill-forced ways are now what entitles people and therefore EALA elections are ugly instead of silent shows of democratic balloting. The NRM has to use the media and spin to make their biggest threat FDC into a shambolic affair of political charade. Since they have the ability themselves to make itself look unwise.

So the spins and the lies of deception will continue to fluster from the NRM and their media hawks, but still the truth will shine in the end. Peace.

VP Ssekandi pledged a new ‘National Children’s Authority’ to the Special Children’s Trust today!

That the honourable Edward Ssekandi surfaced today, which is good thing after the rumours spread by TVO about the plans to get rid of the silent old-man. The loyalist of Museveni who hasen’t uttered a word or had a Speech. Nor any Public-Apparerence worth noticing in a while. Therefore the showing for Pictures and the proof of his wishes to grant the ones with special needs in Uganda. That was a nice gesture towards children with disabilities. Who knew the silent VP could attend a day like this? Here is the report made by the organization itself.

Here is their words on this special day:

“During our Annual Awareness and Fun Day this year we were informed on behalf of the Vice President that a new National Children’s Authority will be established, to be responsible for all issues concerning children, including children with special needs” (…) “This week our Director met with Mr Vice President himself, His Excellency Edward Ssekandi to deliver to him a special gift from SCT, as a thank you for sending a representative to our Awareness Day and to discuss the represen…tation of stakeholders for children with disabilities in the new Children’s Authority. They discussed the challenges faced by Organisations working with children with disabilities due to a lack of implementation of laws and policies concerning such children, such as Inclusive Education” (…) “We thank the Vice President for pledging his full support to furthering our cause and promising to take action in helping us to make Uganda better and safer for children with special needs” (Special Children’s Trust, 21.09.2016).

So VP Ssekandi showed up on the day and promised a new government institution that would focus on the laws for children and be broader than the ones currently existing. This can be seen as a bold move, especially talking about Inclusive Education while knowing the First Lady Museveni runs Education now. She must surely either feel a new hectic task ahead or that the VP overstep his bounds. But, in politics it is easy to promise, much harder to deliver. Though the SCT got a honourable to visit, it doesn’t mean that tomorrow he will enact anything of sorts. He, the VP is the silent force of the Movement and Regime. So when a guy like that suddenly surface. It is time for the VP to act from now on the Promise given to the Citizens and this NGO. Peace.

Opinion: The reason for the silence of the LoP Kiiza; As the MPs want to secure a lavish lifestyle until death

It’s one of those days I say kudos to the men of Forum for Democratic Change – Youth (FDC-Y) wanted the sacking of Hon. Winnie Kiiza and her position as the Leader of Opposition (LoP). I am amused and amazed that it happens over money and the lavish lifestyle. The escalating funds and extended add-ons of expensive SUVs and Caskets when their imminent death conspire and their lives expires.

Well, that is a good cause, but the FDC Youth should have reacted to the day she went into office of Leaders of Opposition and joined the company of under the Movement and their Executive. That should been a battle-cry, but there we’re none just a silent approach where the trailing election and rigging where validated by the appointment of the Cabinet and the Shadow one.

So that today the FDC-Y decided to counter and ask for axing her today is a bit late. Hon. Winnie Kiiza and the FDC National Executive Committee (FDC-NEC) wouldn’t sack or change the Shadow Cabinet just months after arrival unless there an internal-coup in the party as there in the United Kingdom in the Labour Party where you either against Jeremy Corbyn or Owen Smith. The FDC is not Labour, but there have to be similar acts towards the MPs and he hardliners in the party to dissolve the Shadow Cabinet of today.

So the reason for her silence she is already an accomplice with the fellow MPs who wish the lavish lifestyle and become honourable overnight. The reality of the matter as long as the LoP and Shadow Cabinet is there, the 10^th Parliament is in effect and the day-to-day business of the National Assembly will go. So the idea of the LoP to be sacked and change will matter is pointless.

The FDC Youth shouldn’t get the LoP sacked; they should get the whole Shadow Cabinet discontinued and stop validation of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) that is what the FDC-Y should propose in this matter. The monies and advantages of the MPs will raise so sky high the Jupiter. The riches and wealth of the MPs will continue to surge as the level of impunity and little care for service deliver is there in the shallow halls of Parliament.

I admire the FDC Youth stance, as I have the same for the reckless spending of taxpayer’s monies on the already insulting wealthy salaries and other beneficiary programs for the MPs. So the poverty of the government institutions as schools and hospitals should been the main target of the funds and not SUVs for the newly elected men and woman. Alas, that is the case and the Youth are right with their anger.

The Movement are only interested in their selfish interests of their sole elite and their demands. Sometimes they will give monies to the needed and projects of government, but that will be merely a charade of dishonest approach as the Executive gives out pocket-change while he eats fortunes for supper. This is what the FDC should work against and not accept in Parliament. The MPs are just showing their disregard of the people and their work. This indecency of the representatives deserves to be demonstrated against and sought to stop. But to think that the utter words of somebody who validated the rigged election of 2016; than think again!

The FDC Youth shouldn’t sack Hon. Kiiza for her silence on the indecent behaviour of the representatives. The Youths should have reacted to the FDC NEC getting her the gig in the National Assembly in the first place. Her silence is because she cannot go too far in her criticism because she has already altered her motives and ambition to suit the captors of power.

She will be as strong and weak towards the Movement as the Hon. Beti Kamya of UFA. The spine of character has already shown as the where no problems for sending over a dozen of MPs to the Seminar in the United States or the shutdown of Parliament for a week for all the ones travelling so far. There we’re no quarrel in the matter. This proves that Hon. Kiiza is already part of the problem and the get-rich-quick click of Parliament. There isn’t any evidence of otherwise as the suggestions of a possible strong opposition there are dwindling. There are certain men and woman there still, but there far apart as Hon. Frank Mwijukye is one of them. Still, he is a part of losing end and Hon. Kiiza helps him to lose!

Hon. Francis Mwijukye said: “Today I visited Karungu government secondary in Karungu subcounty- Buhweju district where I found students studying under very disturbing circumstances” (Mwijukye, 25.06.2016)

Kudos to the FDC-Y for their action and approach, but the gates is closed unless they want to marginalize the Parliament and not just take a bold stance against their own. That I and many doesn’t’ validate the LoP or her Cabinet is becomes of the dissolution decision to support the Movement by becoming it! So the losing end where already taken when the token and signs where made to the Speaker Kadaga and Deputy Speaker Oulanyah earlier this year.

Now, the time has come for the FDC-Y to either to take the stance of NRM Poor Youth. Try to disembark from the NRM during the Campaign period to the Go-Forward. If not, they can be a nuisance to their mother party… that will not generate the needed extra youthful idealistic force that either can excel a party or can muster the needed grass-root progress that it needs. The FDC-Y needs to show with their ideas and actions that they want to counter the FDC NEC now and their acts of validating the Movement. Not only by axing fellow Hon. Kiiza, but get them to axe the Shadow cabinet! If they do so and asks for that, than they will create empty space in parliament and also question the election that were. Defy and prove the Campaign of Defiance of Dr. Kizza Besigye worthy! Peace.

My letter to Hon. Winnie Kiiza as the ‘LoP’

Dear Mrs Kiiza!

“I am very alive to the fact that: no freedom, no political changes, comes without a cost” – Dr. Kizza Besigye

I am writing with hesitation as you have taken choices that was not the wisest in my opinion, you might see this as progress, but your doubting the Presidential Candidate and neglecting the General Election 2016, as you are disregarding the level of impunity from the National Resistance Movement, I know that TVO have written something hard-hitting about you recently, and as you as a person have the all the right to address, and you did so:

“ATTENTION: I have received information from my private investigators that someone calling himself TVO on socialmedia could have been bribed by government to isolate Dr Kizza Besigye from FDC and link him to a rebel group. If you have been following the so called TVO, you will understand that he has even announced that a new liberation movement will be launched soon to free Besigye from prison using violent means. as a party and as far as Besigye is concerned, we are not in any way connected to any violent group and we shall maintain our position of a non violent struggle until otherwise. I encourage criticism but for the mean time we shall continue investigating this socialmedia critic until we establish his true motives” (Winnie Kizza, 23.06.2016).

As you know a little what you have done and what kind of affect it has, you we’re smart yesterday and stated this, while taking some responsibility:

“YES, DR KIZZA BESIGYE IS IN PRISON BUT THE OUT SIDE OF BESIGYE’S PRISON IS THE INSIDE OF OUR PRISON: Fellow Ugandans, no body abandoned or betrayed Besigye. His arrest and imprisonment is part of the struggle. We should not forget that we are all prisoners, all Ugandans are Prisoners(even Museveni, himself is a prison caught up in a self-destructive cobweb). This is a struggle of liberating ourselves. Do not cry for Besigye cry for yourselves. Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to understand the nature of struggle we are in, the earire the better! Those of us who think that FDC and its leadership is about to throw away our primary objectives and core missions for a peaceful transition and systemic change of government, you are rubbing the wrong side of history. FDC has stood the test of time! We are more united, resolute and focused than ever. We shall rely on the wishes of millions of Ugandans who crave for change to dismantle the status-quo” (Winnie Kiiza, 22.06.2016).

So it is okay that you answer the allegations that TVO put on you, I have blatantly and no disregard towards the Shadow Cabinet, that you apparently are running now. Because it is just a tool and you are pawn on Museveni’s chess set. A necessary prop in the Parliament to keep his power and also to legitimize the farce of an election that was held; so when you are becoming this your partly disbanding the disobedience and defying Museveni and his NRM. You are complying to the façade that he creates with the “business as usual” and gives way for his power with impunity. He can show to the world that he has Opposition in his cabinet and a shadow cabinet to question his behaviour, while he is having all the main power and vetted votes in Parliament; so your real power is only words. The same words that claimed victory in February and March and dwindled while Besigye have gotten more court-dates than Museveni are getting foreign dignitaries on visit.

So you got to question yourself, what is the value of the Parliament and the Opposition, when you’re a useful pawn, a little soldier in the battle, a battle that Museveni controls and his loyal cadres, you can speak to NBS or NTV, smile and be interviewed in the Daily Monitor, but you’re a just a tool to validate the rule of Museveni. The prison of the conscious, the conscious you must be battling with, as you complied and wasn’t disobedient towards the throne and rule of Museveni. That must leave a bad taste, I won’t consider if Gen. Mugisha Muntu said you we’re the best or somebody else in the Forum for Democratic Change National Executive Committee, what is important you accept this fate and this chair. You took the bullet and accepted the institutional façade in 10^th Parliament.

How can you ask for systemic change while degrading the cause to an ‘honourable’ position in the glance of the cranes not far from Yusuf Lule road? The reason for a change happens with a brutal change and disregard for the cronyism and nepotism of the National Resistance Movement and their corrupt ways, but when you are partly corrupted in the National Assembly and in the shadow of the Government, what makes you such a different to them?

I have always had hope in you, as you seem like person who wants to go against the powers to be, in the clear voice against violence and killings of late in Rwenzori and Kasese, the district which you represent. The mentality and determination that is healthy for an opposition and future leader, but the misgivings of a validating the ruling regime and giving up the cause so quickly in fear of losing some symbolic chairs, show that the honour is more important than the causes. That is why the words of yesterday are hard to swallow as you demeaning the cause and the clear path to peaceful liberation from totalitarian, police state and dictatorship, as you think putting sugar on the wounds really heals the flesh. I hate to say it, it don’t.

Let’s be clear if the LoP and the Shadow Cabinet had worked, then the ones in the former terms of Museveni had brought it down and it hasn’t, not even stained him or pushed him into a brick wall, not even touched or taken him for a ride. The reason is that the Parliament is controlled and run under strict hands of Museveni and his loyal cadres as Kadaga or any other men and woman who can be corrupted by brown envelopes.

This is something you know Hon. Kiiza, as you have been in Parliament a fortnight before and seen the 5 million Uganda shillings suits for the NRM MPs coming and going, every time Museveni needs certain laws and amendments fixed. So if you think you can change that with being LoP, than you need a strong mind-control and be able to pursuit the NRM MPs to change guards and go against their master. As the former LoP have been so successful with… the cause is not winning this, then there would be actual progress in the former trials of these runs towards the positive and democratic changes in the republic of Uganda.

You and the FDC NEC, the other FDC MPs, should have stood guards on the ethical and moral high-ground, even when it was costing with the oppressive attacks on the Headquarters, also with activists and MPs detained by the Police Force. Now you have abounded them for a Nobel position in Parliament.

You can attack me or other who doesn’t see the LoP and Shadow Cabinet as anything else than legitimising Museveni… that might not be what you want to hear, but that is the brutal truth.

Rumored plot: That Gen. Salim Selah will Spring Besigye out of Luzira, to ‘harm’ him!

There are now rumored reports that General Salim Selah is ordered to spring out Dr. Kizza Besigye out of the Luzira Maximum Security Prison. This will done in away look like sabotage of law, also in a way that makes it look like breach of justice.

Part of the plot is that Janet Museveni is tired that her husband hasn’t already taken care of him already, as he is always a problem for the ruling regime. They will move him out of Luzira and Kampala, onto another facility where they can ‘harm’ him.

These have come from TVO (Facebook) and Thomas Ddumba (Twitter). Therefore I cannot verify it, as I don’t have paperwork or even audio. But the Government and the NRM-Regime have been desperate of late; so if they would give him more terror than they already have done, it would sadly not be surprising anymore. As they have broken his roof of his Toyota to Pepper-spray him; and also arrested him with force.

If this is all true, then the government is planning to stop the judgement and trial of treason, stop the defiance campaign and totally take out the strongest leader with most traction in the country, as they want to silence the voices who question the ruling regime. Peace.

“When the NRM was still “in the bush” fighting against the previous regime in the middle of the 1980s, they established the Resistance Council (RC) system in areas where they brought under their control. The NRM used the RC system primarily for mobilizing support of the people to fight the guerrilla war. The RC was a five-tier hierarchical structure of Councils. The grass roots RC 1 was at the village level; RC 2 for parish; RC 3 for sub-county; RC 4 for county: and RC 5 for district. The people at grassroots elected their representatives as Councillors at RC 1. There were nine Councillors at RC 1 in charge of various aspects of local matters including information, mobilization, education, finance, security, and concerns of youth and women. These RC 1 Concillors in turn elected the same number of Councillors for RC 2. This process was repeated up to the level of RC 5. When the NRM took power in 1986, the new government introduced this RC system nationwide” (Saito, 2000).
