FYI: President Trump will create a Banana Republic out of the US!

trump-land

Well, ladies and gentleman the super-power called the United States of America, is a dying dinosaur that Michael Moore or even Jay-Z doesn’t have the power to change. Today was a shock for many, even for me as the American Electorate decided to elect a Demagogue of ill-rhetoric towards certain ethnic groups like the Latin-American, Women and so-on. Donald Trump in his power and commander-in-chief will remarkably create havoc.

All of this is well known, but what the United States’ citizens didn’t think about when they voted against the establishment on protest against the D.C. power-structure they voted for a man with certain traits that can put certain pieces of the Government into shambles. So before I start; for those of you who don’t know, here is the definition of a banana republic!

“It was coined in a 1904 book of fiction by O. Henry, an American writer. Henry (whose real name was William Sydney Porter) was on the run from Texan authorities, who had charged him with embezzlement” (…) “His phrase neatly conjures up the image of a tropical, agrarian country. But its real meaning is sharper: it refers to the fruit companies from the United States that came to exert extraordinary influence over the politics of Honduras and its neighbours. By the end of the 19th century, Americans had grown sick of trying to grow fruit in their own chilly country. It was sweeter and cheaper by far to import it instead from the warmer climes of Central America, where bananas and other fruit grow quickly. Giants such as the United Fruit Company—an ancestor of Chiquita—moved in and built roads, ports and railways in return for land. In 1911 the Cuyamel Fruit Company, another American firm (which was later bought by United), supplied the weapons for a coup against the government of Honduras, and prospered under the newly installed president. In 1954 America’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) backed a coup against the government of Guatemala, which had threatened the interests of United. (Historians still debate whether the CIA’s motive was to protect United or, as many now believe, to nip Communism in the bud.) Hence the real meaning of a “banana republic”: a country in which foreign enterprises push the government around” (The Economist, 2013).

Why do I believe this, it’s because of all his sort-of promises over the months. There is all kind of activities that proves the clear indications of a Banana Republic on the rise. The Americans might think otherwise, that is because there are blind on how the state really is.

The United States recorded a Government Debt to GDP of 104.17 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product in 2015. Government Debt to GDP in the United States averaged 61.94 percent from 1940 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 121.70 percent in 1946 and a record low of 31.70 percent in 1974. Government Debt to GDP in the United States is reported by the U.S. Bureau of Public Debt” (Trading Economics).

So the average debt level or ratio is staggering already. This is not tackled because the creditors accept the debt levels are raising, just as seen with the numbers from Trading Economics are showing during 30 years the percentage has gone up over 70 %, which should be frightening to any economy. When you have that level of debt, you should be able to have a heavy tax-base to collect and pay the debt.

us-news-trump-quote

Taxing under Trump:

“US taxes are low relative to those in other developed countries. In 2012, US taxes at all levels of government represented 24 percent of GDP, compared with an average of 34 percent of GDP for the 34 member countries of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)” (…) “The United States collects relatively less revenue dedicated to retirement, disability, and other social security programs—22 percent of total tax revenue—than the 26 percent OECD average” (…) “Property taxes provided more than twice as large a share of US tax revenue—12 percent in 2012—than the OECD average of 5 percent. Almost all revenue from taxes on property in the United States is collected by state and local governments” (…) “The United States relies less on taxes on goods and services (including both general consumption taxes and taxes on specific goods and services) than any other OECD country, collecting 18 percent of tax revenue this way compared with 33 percent for the OECD. The value-added tax (VAT)—a type of general consumption tax collected in stages—is the main source of consumption tax revenue, employed worldwide in 160 countries including all 34 OECD member countries except the United States. Most consumption tax revenue in the United States is collected by state and local governments” (Hoo & Toder, 2006).

So when the Federal and Republic itself has such a giant debt ratio, the taxes should be high and should be to the levels of actually having the ability to pay it back. As they do not even have VAT on goods that is very normal world-wide, but apparently isn’t a thing in the United States. This proves the mismanagement of potential tax-base that the Government need to succeed to pay their debt. This is before the Election yesterday.

This is the taxes planned under Trump: “According to the Tax Foundation’s Taxes and Growth Model, the plan would reduce federal revenue by between $4.4 trillion and $5.9 trillion on a static basis. The amount depends on the nature of a key business policy provision” (…) “After accounting for the larger economy and the broader tax base, the plan would reduce revenues by between $2.6 trillion and $3.9 trillion after accounting for the larger economy, depending on the nature of a key policy provision” (…) “On a static basis, the Trump tax plan would increase the after-tax incomes of taxpayers in every income group. The bottom 80 percent of taxpayers (those in the bottom four quintiles) would see an increase in after-tax income between 0.8 percent and 1.9 percent, under both policy assumptions.  Taxpayers in the top quintile would see a 4.4 percent increase in after-tax income under the higher-rate assumption, or 8.7 percent under the lower-rate assumption. Those in the top decile would see a 5.4 percent increase in after-tax income under the higher-rate assumption, or 9.3 percent under the lower-rate assumption. Finally, taxpayers in the top 1 percent would see the largest increase in after-tax income on a static basis, driven by both the lower top marginal tax rate and the lower corporate income tax. Under the higher-rate assumption this increase would be 10.2 percent, and under the lower-rate assumption this increase would be 16.0 percent” (Cole, 2016).

So when the government are axing it income, while the economy running on a deficit your making no-sense. Your continue to spend on deficit while cutting taxes; the taxed ones are the ones who voted for Trump, the bottom 80% will get higher taxes, while corporations and 1% riches will get less. So the richer will get richer. A real proof of a Banana Republic where the solidarity towards the ones who needs so. They who voted for him is the ones that will pay on his tax-plan, which is ironic.

pbstwig

This is on the direct economic sense, now on health care. Here he proves again he will hurt the ones who voted for him, the poor and what is left of the working-class:

“The policies would cause almost 21 million people to lose their insurance coverage, as the replacement health care policies would only cover 5 percent of the 22 million individuals who would lose coverage upon the repeal of Obamacare. This would almost double the number of Americans without health insurance” (…) “The largest component of this estimate comes from the “repeal.” The campaign website proposes to “completely repeal Obamacare,” which we assume to mean repealing the Affordable Care Act’s regulations, subsidies, Medicaid expansion, Medicare savings, and tax increases. Although repealing the coverage provisions would save about $1.1 trillion, based on Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates (adjusted for recent legislation and changes in the budget window), repealing the legislation’s tax increases and Medicare cuts would cost a combined $1.6 trillion. In total, this means repeal would cost $480 billion – or $260 billion including the economic benefits of repeal” (Committee for a responsible Federal Budget, 2016).

So the Trump Administration are planning to hurt their own, the ones that has gotten through the Obamacare gotten some sorts of subsidized medical insurance, something he wants to repeal and will even make sure to cost the state more. So the educated minds will know that people has to carry insurance on their own while the state pays more to abolish the Obamacare. The 21 million individuals will regret questioning the medical treatment through Obamacare, as the Federal State will add more money. So the people are getting higher tax for the same 80% who losing their health insurance. Do the American citizens prefer punishing themselves?

As with the true implications of NAFTA:

“Customs duties reductions led to increases in trade with the other two countries of 11% in Canada, 41% in the United States, and 118% in Mexico, for the period between 1993 and 2011.5 In terms of value, American trade with Canada and Mexico increased from US$481 billion in 1993 to US$1.1 trillion in 2015. While Donald Trump claims that Americans “don’t make anything anymore,” implying that NAFTA is to blame, the American manufacturing sector has increased production by 58% since the deal came into effect” (Bedard, 2016).

160315100618-trump-quote-workers-crushed-780x439

So the results of NAFTA are apparently different in reality than what comes across when coming to Trump, so the reality hasn’t mattered. He wants to dissolve or change the rules and regulations, this will make it harder to export and import products between Canada and Mexico into the United States. The United States need free-movement of products and industrial products to be able to have the Corporate Capitalism that drives the USA.

So with lower taxes in general, a higher cost of health-care without concern for the 21 million without health insurance. They now are getting more problems with exporting and importing the needed products and raw-material has been possible and even at longest part of the NAFTA agreement has been positive to the US. So the regulation and cooperation with neighbours will be harder because of barriers that will be created with abolishing the NAFTA.

This is still all economic implications… then you have the gun-control, the war-lord aspects and the other social policies mixed with the economic aspect that turns the ones giant and great nation into tatters, if the President Donald Trump gets to do as he pleases without questions.

We should consider it with the implication on the policies and the foreign affairs. The US Government would lose with their plans on playing hardball with NATO and others. With the Muslims ban and deportation, also the Latin-American population that has been singled out; these groups can hurt the economy and also the basic workforce who does the needed services needed in society. That these will be sent out because of their ethnicity and faith will also prove that the United States isn’t the leaders of free-world, but another tyranny under President Trump. The fear and loathing of the Republican President Trump! That will do like the Americans did during Second World-War when Japanese for being so we’re detained into camps, or if he pleases send them packing.

This racial laws and deportations will hurt the economy and make sure the state becomes a Banana Republic; What is special is that the United States will have a free-flow of guns, ammunition, but will make it harder to import goods and also export goods with worse deals, have lesser taxes, still high debt yield and add expenses on health-care while the citizens has to cover themselves. This while the US President hasn’t a plan to help lower-classes as the minimum-pay or salaries increase for the 80% who still get added tax, also pay more for health care. The US Electorate got all reasons for feeling foolish if they even read this.

Bananas and Banana Company we’re President William Howard Taft did what he could to save the companies. Now the new President might try to replicate this, but he forgets the needed international community and production as the needed bolts, tools and manufacturing are inter-connected. That is something that the modern day President Trump needs.

Side Note – International Partnerships:

So if he builds walls, gets into whiny bitch mode and becomes a fully-blown attack paranoid mode, than the international partners will not accept being constantly bullied. I am sure that Philippines C-I-C President Rodigro Duterte will be tossed around for another power or human being. Neither will Russian President Vladimir Putin and even German Chancellor Angela Merkel will not accept it. So the price of him being brash and irresponsible thin-skinned versus the ones that questions his actions or words, isn’t really suitable with the trading partners and allies that the U.S. still needs. The US doesn’t live in a vacuum and not the only one with a giant defence and has much money to spend like on AGOA and others.

So congratulation on becoming a Banana-Republic, ready to become muffled with after playing king-pin… for decades; as your economic prospects under the Trump Administration and regime doesn’t look healthy. Peace.

Opinion: Wonder why there is seemingly for some still undecided between Trump and Clinton? The madness called the US Presidential Election Campaigns of 2016 is soon over!

unnamed

It’s been a weird timeline for this American Presidential Election, the months upon months with madness and craziness. The undetermined now have either looked to many times at Friends, Game of Thrones or even browsed quickly at Fox and CNN; still not able to make a decision who to cast their vote for un Tuesday 8th November 2016.

There been Primary race in the major parties, the Republican Party with the wildest and biggest amount of candidates, where 16 candidates went in and tried. Some familiar faces other local heroes trying to figure out how to become a National Candidate. The ones standing out was Jeb Bush, who had to become JEB! Because his family name isn’t ringing out with joy as it did before Bill Clinton, those we’re the days. Than you had Marco Rubio, the Florida man who robotic answers made the automatic telephone answer-machine obsolete for little while. Than you had Ted Cruz, the Texan who with coded language tried to sound friendly, but just seemed interested in his own career over policy; you had John Kasich from Ohio who seemed sincere and like a fellow from the Mitt Romney and John McCain wing of the Republican Party, but he went hard and continued without any tally of results.

Than you had the Democratic Party where there we’re fewer candidates and there was more or less two candidates that had a significant amounts of people behind them. You had the Governor of Maryland Martin O’Malley, I am sure the man is a decent and kind fellow, but he didn’t grab attention or attraction as the competitors owned the field. The one that we’re close and can still make difference is Bernie Sanders the Senator of Vermont. In the Primaries he we’re a real threat and showed how he could garn popularity with Millennials and get small donations from people and not the giant multi-national corporations. Not building a super-PAC, but still making sense of policies, political framework and how to build society. He still one 22 states in the Primaries and we’re a serious contender with a strong message. Should be remembering his fight against the internal-system and electoral machine from his competitor who had loyalist in the Central leadership of the Democratic National Committee.

mw-ev104_wsj_ed_20160831155949_zh

So now with this, there are two candidates left: Donald J. Trump from the Republican Party and Hillary Clinton of the Democratic Party. Other candidates are Jill Stein of the Green Party and Gary Johnson of the Libertarians. Jill Stein at one point thought Wi-Fi was a treat to kids and said she deserves the Bernie Sanders votes. Also that she is the one to vote for instead of lesser of two evils (Trump and Clinton). Gary Johnson will be remembered for not being able to answer on MSNBC Morning Joe, what Aleppo and who Aleppo is. So the Foreign Affairs hasn’t been key importance for the Libertarians as they are focused on spliffs, little state, more personal freedom and a strong army. Something that would enforce the undoubted republicans to vote for Johnson as a protest this year; might be might be not, but he might gain more than normally.

Now that we’re days before the polls, the ballots casted and final tallies in all the states, the 270 Electoral Votes and the whole Electoral College is secured. We still have the final race to the finish line. Initially this race is between Trump and Clinton.

Trump, he is rare character of orange hatred, patriotism and notorious chauvinism and racism. As an outsider it’s weird that Republicans went for this man and accept this. This blended with his attitude and his brash words against anybody; his nonchalant of fluid morality towards others. While he can crucify fellow peers for their maladministration’s and wrong doings, he will never ever accept that he has done the same and crossed the line. His flabbergasting rhetoric on immigration, woman and media has been out of this world. Sounding more like a power-hungry dictator than a man whose plan is to restructure America. His personality and decisions has cared more about getting more spotlight than making sure that his vision comes clear. If he believes the words he says and if any significant plan of any kind has if he gets into office can be unsure of. Seemingly it seems more important with the title and winning than actually making a difference.  Together with his brawls and attacks on peers, fellow Republican Senators, House Speaker Paul Ryan and others shows the inability of even working together with his own. Trump has to own the spotlight and be KING. If not it doesn’t matter. AS long as he is King, even if the Palace is bailing out, the golden letters with his name is fading and his stars are built with giant walls around them. Still, the thing that matters to Trump isn’t working-class families in Wisconsin or Michigan; it’s his ego and his reputation.

Clinton Campaign TV

Then it’s Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Presidential Candidate who has been doing this before and lost to Barrack Obama, back in the day and has been a Senator for New York and Secretary of State at one point. She has been flogged in public, by certain stations been named so reckless and destructive at one point the only missing flaw per today: is that was the main reason behind World War III. Not that she has a perfect record, but when you been in public light and in office all your life you got to have some bad apples and made mistakes. Hillary Clinton carries them and even answered for why she has changed opinion. Trump would say, “Where did you get that? That wasn’t me? Do you have the tape?” He would deflect it. Not that Hillary hasn’t had enough trouble, for instance with the internal releases of E-Mail’s leaks from WikiLeaks, Guccifer and DCLeaks. They have leaked information through the cycle that has showed how the Campaign Team and Clinton Foundation have not been ethical correct or been correct. They have used methods and used money in questionable ways, even fraudulent. That is a fact and not fiction. That she can’t trust the American Public to show gratitude for her service is clear as she couldn’t even ask for silence and relaxation as she had pneumonia during the Campaigns. Than the Republican media nearly said she had AIDS and dying; by the way called her deceiving for it as well. That proves how hard they tackle her grievances. Instead of asking why she was sick and why she didn’t want to release the information, the American Media went into a frenzy attacking her personality. Which shows what kind of Corporate case of misjudgement and attitude towards her.

With this all in mind, with the statements and character flaws that are in play together with the public sphere, the electoral laws in the 50 states and with the decades of elitism. In this day and age, in this time and with the coming problems together with ones we are piling up today, what kind of leadership does the United States of America need?

bush-1

Do they need a hot-headed, non-sequential policy based and self-promoting snake-oil salesman on the top of the food-chain in nation and serve them with some form dignity, if that dignity is believable. That will only be believable if he uses as much time on the golf-course as George W. Bush, Donald Trump can only be functioning if he tries to have camps with Sheiks to donate funds to US if he serves them halal-parties at Camp David. I cannot see him making sense of public policy like Barrack Obama or even the former War-Lord Dick Cheney; at least he could be able to make sense of the statements coming out of his mouth.

We can all question if the Hillary Clinton, the moderate, Wall-Street infused and money hungry Politician is the right one as well. She isn’t demoralising or counter-aggressive. She has posted herself as Progressive, but that isn’t true. Hillary is so moderate that she can fall in-between certain wings of Republican Party and Democratic Party. Bi-Partisanship will be thing under wings for sure. Her real stance on matters is something we can wonder as the leaks showed that much of groundwork and policies made by her team not by her own making. They have all been suggestion by close aides and surrogates while she has been on the road reading from a teleprompter. The last piece should Trump do to, he sound like Drunk Uncle so often… how can the Drunk Uncle all of sudden become the Command-in-Chief; it’s not funny. Especially for an outsider to see how degraded the democratic process has become in the US as they get this guy to counter a Political Opponent the way he does. That Clinton becomes Crooked Hillary and it’s been the sticker from Trump. The pathetic smear campaign to weaken her, instead of looking at facts… facts and fiction has been nearly the same, Clinton has gotten tainted with old sins, and sins she couldn’t commit and couldn’t even do. She created ISIS, she killed somebody while Bill Clinton was in Office, she had Alien intervention in her body, and she has a deadly infection and so on. Clinton has been targeted for the machine she has created.

USA_Government_Branches_Infographic

It’s true she has gotten wealthy on Wall Street money and used a weird company in Cincinnati on an estate that got 250,000 LLC’s on the compound. That is true and that isn’t something she should have. Her husband been a con and a man-whore at some point, but that isn’t her fault; that’s the sins of Bill and he has to carry.

Trump on the other hand has used mafia to build his tower, not paid taxes for decades, not cared for paying employees and contractors, stifled monies from even campaign pollsters during his Presidential Campaign, reckless behaviour of litigations, sued for fraud countless times, used donations to his Foundations to buy private luxurious merchandize, running a University and enrolling students without proper State Educational Licences and so on. That is without cherry-picking his marriages, his womanizing and his acts of fidelity and forged public persona.

So that a man who has that towards the other one, shows how simple it should be to pick; but the United States population seems to be drawn by the scandals of the FBI and others who carries into weight without having any significant records of forcing through new investigations. The public perception with the constant leaks has hurt Clinton and that deservedly, but still the other guy isn’t really a catch. The Clinton mistake is systematic and organic, the Trump mistakes is deceiving and inappropriate.

I wonder if the United States wants to become a laughing stock and not be the man who helps out with their armies and their structures. With Trump as President should the United Nation Headquarters still be there; when you have a man who wishes to deteriorate the foreign affairs, the relationship between trading-partners and allies in the NATO. Does the United States wanted to be so internally focused in the image of Trump that they will be internal focused and only thinking of his best, not the great American Best. That comes in second fiddle kind of like Ariana Grande comes second to Beyoncé.

Peace.

Federal Judge Vazguez orders the Trump Campaign to prove their allegations of fraud and the election rigging!

trump-election-observer

A federal judge out of New Jersey has ordered Trump Campaign and Trump to explain his prejudice against the Elections and the possibility of a rigged election. Something that he has claimed for a while and he took actions after the surrogates and even Vice Presidential Candidate Mike Pence has gone into defence. Therefore Federal Judge of New Jersey John Michael Vazguez ordered his team to deliver affidavits, testimonies or oral proof of rigged allegations. This before the final days of voting, before the last day of casting the ballots and the Election Day!

Here is the outtake of the Court Order of New Jersey:

Trump the “Trump Campaign” regarding voter fraud ballot security, ballot integrity, poll watching, or poll monitoring. If the agreements are verbal or oral or otherwise not reduce to writing, then Defendant shall submit an affidavit of a person or persons with personal knowledge of such agreements. The person’s shall be an agent, servant, or employee of Defendant. The affidavit s shall set forth all material terms of any such agreement, including any geographic areas which are being targeted for the voter fraud, ballot security, ballot integrity. Poll watching, or poll monitoring efforts and the reason’s those areas are being targeted”

trump-campaign-statement-18-10-2016

This here set precedence for the Campaign, as a result to the hammering against the American Election system and the way the Election Districts are set up. This is against all the different election laws in the various states in the United States of America. The Election Laws differ and make it complicated as of registration, getting election ID and all the other necessary things needed before doing the civic duty of casting the ballot for the Presidential Election.

So this Court Order is important, not that there hasn’t been questionable actions in US Election in the past, but I cannot remember a time and place where a Campaign Team and Presidential Candidate has proclaimed before the ballots are casted. Even before the tally of the votes been registered and even before the Supreme Court has tested and recounted questionable Election Districts in Close states. That the Election Rigging claims have surfaced. Something that sounds like gimmick and using the final fear-tactic from a Campaign that uses all sorts of tactics to win, not for the system, but for their own gain! This is something that has always been the case for Donald Trump and his businesses.

So that a Court of New Jersey goes to this step, proves the crazy ride that been the American Election this year. That somebody like Donald Trump could become a Republican Presidential Candidate and also be such a figure in the race, shows some fearful prospects of current state of internal affairs in the United States. If it would be Marco Rubio or one of the other candidates the view of US would be more clean and healthy. The sickness of something so vicious, so brash and bashing fearful has been out of question, but is now mainstream thanks to Trump. Those together with conspiracy theories like this Court Order try to settle and silence. So, we can hope that the Trump Campaign with Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Kellyanne Conway, Rob Gleason and Ronna Romney McDaniel can offer some explanation to the allegations and crimes, voter frauds and such so the evident crimes and people behind the rigged can answer for themselves! Peace.

PS: If they cannot prove it or explain the allegations, could he please shut up! If he has grievances like I do for the Florida 2000 Elections that gave George W. Bush the victory in the State, than say that; don’t say this one unless you have something to prove at-least!

BTW: I am far from a fan of both George W. Bush and Donald J. Trump. Therefore No mixed messages and hope that Clinton wins, not that her track-record is beautiful, but anything is better than TRUMP!

The Trump Tower: Some of Trump’s ethical conundrums concerning tax on his “flag-ship” enterprise!

landscape-1435616062-donald-trump-real-estate-history

This is just another day, another dig into the mess of a business-man, the so-called billionaire Donald J. Trump and his Trump Organization; with the dozens of companies and unsettled taxes and regulated operations that can be scrutinized at any second and certainly most of his businesses has been taken to court of maladministration, tax-fraud, tax-aviation or not-paying dues to contractors or sub-contractors. There been reports 1000s of court cases under the Trump Organizations. What is so special with this here, is the way the stifling conduct been done the Trump Tower, the big skyscraper, the one thing he might eventually actually able to pull off. The one giant footprint on the Manhattan Skyline; the dream of the Bronx kid that came into life; and now is there!

It is this Tower and the shady tax story of his favourite building, the building that first carried his name and his so-called fortune. The glory of the Trumps and their enterprises as the epitome of the marble and gold; the one place that settled his rise to build a so-called empire! It is these stakes and these enormous steps to either brilliance or doom that the stories show from the Trump Tower.

Donald Trump, wouldn’t like this piece, not because their my words, but because the harshness of the old documents showing his ruthless misbehaving and not conducting fair business in the Trump Tower and towards the tax-man of his beloved New York. So here it is. Some might be forgotten, and some is still fresh. Here is my take!

About the Condominium:

The Trump-Equitable Fifth Avenue Company was formed, an equal partnership. Equitable put in the fee. Mr. Trump contributed the lease, two small units he acquired on East 57th Street, and the air rights to Tiffany’s on the corner, which he needed for a zoning change to build a high-rise apartment house. The Trump Organization is sales and managing agent for the building, and Mr. Trump was able to put the family name over the four-story portal in colossal bronze letters – and two giant bronze Ts in the atrium” (…) “Chase Manhattan financed his $24 million purchases of the various leases and rights, and the bank also formed a syndicate for the $150 million construction loan” (…) “Anticipated condominium revenues of $260 million (85 percent of the 263 apartments have been sold) have effectively paid off the construction loan, leaving Trump Tower unencumbered by mortgages. The partnership retains ownership of the retail space and the 13 floors of office space, not yet rented, that are sandwiched in between. This commercial portion of the building is projected to yield rentals of $28 million a year” (…) “Mr. Trump expected that Trump Tower would qualify for a residential tax abatement. But after construction started, the city denied the exemption, estimated to be worth $15 million to $20 million, claiming it was intended to encourage low- and middle-income housing – not the deluxe apartments of the Tower. The city is now appealing a State Supreme Court ruling in Mr. Trump’s favor last June” (Bender, 1983).

As we see the Trump big man dream of 1980s and the braggadocios building came to life on loans from Chase Manhattan and leases not even built on Trumps own monies. Therefore it was an investment in the trusts of others capital something he would continue to do as business in the future with less intelligence and less of ability to land with a great deal. As shown in other pieces. Still, the result of Trump Tower was not as anticipated as the value of the floors and the denied exemption makes it more expensive to rent and have stores in the Trump Tower. Something that was a loss for the millionaire… and also promises not kept to the state of New York.

Supreme Court on the Tax-Exemption on the Condominium:

“During the pendency of the court challenges to the City’s denial of section 421-a tax benefits, petitioner paid the City’s tax assessments under protest. After the Court of Appeals ruled petitioner was entitled to receive section 421-a tax benefits, the City gave petitioner a refund check in March 1986 and then issued a set of remission letters in April 1986 concerning the payment of certain refunds for the overpayment of tax assessments for the 1981-82 through 1983-84 tax years. The refund, however, was based on an application of section 421-a tax exemption benefits to that portion of Trump Tower which consisted of residential units calculated to be 64.6% of the building’s aggregate floor area. Petitioner maintains the correct amount of residential units is 66.31% of aggregate floor area” (…) “The City contends that the July 1988 remission letters properly distributed the 12% exemption for commercial space allowed by RPTL 421-a among all units in the building and properly charged the remaining liability for excess nonexempt commercial space to the commercial unit alone” (…) “Judge Simons concluded that the Legislature intended all properties, regardless of the type of ownership, to receive the benefit of the exemption and that “the exemption is to be applied to the building as a whole, to the extent permitted, and not to parts of it” (supra, at 345). Moreover, the court went on to state that: “In the case of condominium units that means that the mini tax assessment must be applied to the entire building and the assessment then apportioned on a unit-by-unit basis as required by Real Property Law § 339-y. The failure to do so effectively excises from the statute buildings held in condominium ownership and applies the exemption differently depending on the type of ownership” (supra, at 345)” (…) “Order and judgment (one paper), Supreme Court, New York County, entered on September 7, 1989, unanimously modified, on the law, to the extent of striking the City’s computation concerning the floor ratio between the residential and commercial condominium units of Trump Tower, recalculating the proportionate tax benefits and tax liabilities among the units, declaring petitioner entitled to interest on additional refunds computed from the date of payment and modifying the last decretal paragraph to direct the payment of interest on said additional refunds pursuant to General Municipal Law § 3-a, and otherwise affirmed, without costs and without disbursements” (Supreme Court of New York, 1990).

As of the court date years on end as the proof of it after and the show of dubious numbers and changing facts from the Trump Organization towards the tax-man. This is proven with the different numbers for the 421- in building towards the business end of the operation in the towers, that we’re differing from the applications that we’re accepted by the great state of New York. So the Trump violated the trust between him as a builder and the state that let him build and gave him favourable tax to get investors investing in his project and skyscraper. This proves the malicious and dubious businessman in the making, when he does it even on his flag-ship enterprise in Manhattan. Take a look at the continuation of it!

Tax Case on the Condominium 1996:

Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States(“Equitable”) and Petitioner (collectively referred to as the “Venturers”) entered in a joint venture agreement, dated January30, 1980 (the “Venture Agreement”) to form the Trump-Equitable Fifth Avenue Company (the “Venture”) to develop a luxury mixed-use building located at 721-725 Fifth Avenue (“Trump Tower”). The purpose of the Venture was to: (a) acquire title to certain land and existing buildings; (b) demolish the existing buildings; (c) construct a new building — Trump Tower — to be owned in condominium form; (d) sell residential condominium units therein; and (e) lease office retail and other commercial condominium space therein. Venture Agreement section” (…) “The only witness to testify on behalf of Petitioner as to what his activities were with respect to the Venture was his representative and accountant, Jack Mitnick” (…) “Mr. Mitnick testified that Petitioner was compensated for the following services that he performed for the Venture: (a) the demolition of the preexisting buildings; (b) the construction of Trump Tower; (c) the promotion and sale of condominium units in Trump Tower; (d) the rental of commercial condominium units; and(e) the selling of residential condominium units” (…) “Mr. Mitnick also testified that the “Trump Corporation” performed sales and advertising services under the Development, Sales and Leasing Agreement and reported the resulting income in a City General Corporation Tax return according to Mr. Mitnick’s testimony, the Venture paid a “development fee” directly to Petitioner in his individual capacity which Petitioner reported as “[personal] income” and which was[also] “reported [on the Venture’s UBT return] as compensation of a partner. . .;” i.e., which was not deducted on the Venture’s UBT return” (…) “On March 31, 1984, nineteen days after he exercised the Option, Petitioner sold the Condominium for $3,000,000” (…) “On the Schedule D attached to Petitioner’s Federal income tax return for the Tax Year, Petitioner reported a $2,365,352 capital gain from the sale of the Condominium (the “Gain”). The sale of the Condominium was the only direct sale of real property during the Tax Year by Petitioner that was evinced in the record. The record indicates that much of Petitioner’s other real estate activities were conducted through related entities, particularly corporations” (…) “Petitioner filed a City UBT return for the Tax Year (the “Return”) in which he reported his principal business activity as “consulting.” The Return reported negative taxable business income of $619,227. Schedule C of Petitioner’s Federal personal income tax return (Form 1040), upon which the Return was based, indicates that Petitioner had total deductions of $626,264, even though he had no income or receipts from his business activity” (…) “By transmittal letter dated July 24, 1992 (which mistakenly lists the year as 1994 instead of 1992), another of the Commissioner’s representatives produced the original Return –which did not have an Extension Request attached to it – and requested that it be entered into evidence. No request was ever made to extend the June 18, 1992 date set at the hearing for the production of the original Return and the close of the record” (…) “CONCLUSIONS OF LAW:” (…) “However, the problem at issue is not one of double taxation, but of no taxation. Because the Condominium was sold by Petitioner and not the Venture, the Gain cannot be taxed to the Venture. Therefore, if Petitioner is correct that he is not taxable on the Gain, the income realized from highly appreciated inventory property extracted from the Venture only days before its sale would escape all taxation under the UBT” (…) “Petitioner admits, on of his supplemental reply brief, that: “Trump provided management services to the Partnership [Venture].” Petitioner’s accountant testified that Petitioner received payments for development services provided to the Venture which he took into income for personal income tax purposes. By virtue of the pro-vision of such services to the Venture, Petitioner is found to have been engaged in a taxable trade or business for UBT purposes” (…) “Respondent asserts that because Petitioner and Equitable each owned the same interest in the partnership [the Venture]” and Petitioner received more Options than Equitable, the Option was granted in exchange for services. This conclusion is questionable. The provision in the Venture Agreement which indicates that there was to be an equal profit split, expressly states that it is subject to other provisions in that agreement — such as the provision granting the Excess “Options. Thus, effectively, the Venture Agreement grants each Venturer a 50% profits interest in those Condominiums not subject to the Options and a 100% profits interest in those Condominiums as to which that Venturer held an option” (…) “Respondent submitted the original Return after the date set in the stipulation without any explanation why the stipulation – the agreement his representative entered into — should not been forced. Parties must be bound by the representations that they make to this forum absent a compelling reason to the contrary. As no such compelling reason was provided, the stipulation will been forced. Respondent is therefore deemed to have waived the late filing penalty” (…) “As Petitioner held and exercised the Option as part of his unincorporated trade or business, the Gain was connected with that trade or business and is subject to the UBT” (…) “The Petition of Donald Trump is denied except to the extent that the deficiency asserted in the Notice of Determination, dated November 18, 1987, is to be modified to eliminate the 25% late filing penalty” (New York Tax Appeal Court, 1996).

gop-2016-trump

Just as a decade has gone, but the Donald Trump didn’t give and wouldn’t give into the tax-man of New York State, even after the Supreme Court of New York judged in favor of a new tax-plan for the Trump Tower. This proves how he used business associates and fellow businessman to vouch for him and not take the blame as the Mr. Mitnick we’re in charge of selling a condominium at the Tower, but didn’t register the sale as the Corporation was not yet filed in the State. Therefore tried to circumvent the laws and get away with paying tax for the gain and the profits stemmed from sales of property at the Tower. This is another case than the initial Tax-Exemption that Trump tried to keep, even as he didn’t keep his promise of space of commercial versus housing in the tower and therefore we’re viable for more tax on the property.

The same kind of trick done here just years as he tries to avoid paying tax on selling property in the tower and also filling the form late therefore getting a 25% tax penalty on the case. That he also wanted to be axed. Also the use of different years in the filing trying to cover up the bogus attempt of not paying tax on the $3m sale of property where he earned about $2.4m directly as the deductions we’re about $600k shows the level of carelessness and trying to directly avoid any sort taxation by state. Trump Organization we’re interested in the sale, but not properly filling in the taxes or the previous owner as the direct sale without a entity we’re used to seal the away instead of getting direct tax of profits.

The Copy of the 1994 tried to fill in the profits, instead of 1992, therefore the New York Commissionaire had during trial come with an original Tax Return to show the real numbers of the transaction and the gain of the individual Trump, who we’re to be taxed for the sale of the Condominium, which he diligently tried to not to pay.

That is enough for now. Has more on his taxes later. This man is just too dishonest. It is so strange that the GOP accepted the man as their candidate for President. Peace.

Opinion: The Nonsense of US Election will continue with the first Presidential Candidate Debate!

trumpclinton2

For those of you who really think you will learn something new or see a vibrant new candidate on the podium. You have forgotten the format and the ways these Presidential Candidate Debate fits the ratings and the ways of gaining most viewers. This isn’t for the greater good of democracy; this is a battle for advertisement revenue for the current TV Station and Media House. This is the bloody America where everyone supposed to be able to push blood out of stone.

Donald Trump, the so-called billionaire and brash vomit will be broadcasted worldwide where more lies and inaccuracies than ever before. It will be like watching the Telly on ‘V for Vendetta’. Oh gee, the grand house of political heroes has fallen into bread and circus instead of professing into the governance and accountability. But if accountability matters the so-called billionaire might have drop more key paperwork and not just spoken unaccounted for his business in the past and how he has paid the tax-man.

Hillary Clinton, the political refugee and one who cannot hide the shade of Bernie Sanders. The lingering of shadow of husband Bill Clinton and all her years in Senate and even as Minister of State still has scalps. Not like her counterpart who claims to know more than generals, Hillary Clinton’s weakness is her weak program and rhetoric together with the solid bank-account after years in the civil service. While the Foundation of Clinton’s are being scrutinized and might done things on wrong accord, the same can be said by the Trump Foundation.

This race is not about morals, wealth, character, hope, progress, longevity or stability. This Presidential Campaign is about redemption. The Redemption of the two-party system of United States, if the people still believes in it. Because the candidates are both disgusting in different ways; Clinton though by a giant leap better than Trump, but that is not a feat! Clinton would be better by just breathing and that says more about the opponent than about her.

So for those of you who think you will be wise by the show and the Presidential Debate, you won’t if you didn’t know that Donald Trump lies and thinks he can fix an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) with only a toothpick and Swiss-Army Knife; while he will claim he does it better than the inventor of it John Stevens. On the other hand Hillary Clinton will be more organized and careful with her words; still addressing Trump on his inaccuracies and even be clear on how unfit he might be.

I know many won’t agree and by all means I accept it. Trump is an asshole and he has graced his son with the same dreadful traits of inhumanity. Clinton has the polished career politician and therefore need to show some flex, but she will not show anything new. Unless she tears a giant whole in the pride of Trump and his so-called achievements; Trump cannot be brasher, racial biased, and political incorrect or careless than he has already been unless he actually shows his ‘peacock’ to the nation on live broadcast. That is what is missing!

So enjoy watching a ‘Show about Nothing’ where the broadcast is eating your life and these candidates wouldn’t’ say something new unless Gary Johnson, Jill Stein or Deez Nuts we’re showing up to pretend like Tinashe that she is as important as Beyoncé. Peace.

176 Shocking Things Donald Trump Has Done This Election | The Closer with Keith Olbermann | GQ (Youtube-Clip)

“How did we get here? It’s easy to forget. In the debut episode of his new series, “The Closer,” GQ’s Keith Olbermann tallies the most outrageous of Donald Trump’s offenses in what is now his 15-month assault on American democracy.” (GQ, 2016)

Opinion: Clinton’s contempt for the some voter’s is nothing compared to Trump!

shoot-hillary

I cannot sit on the side-line while the Republican Party, their Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump and his loyal cadres are dismissing the ‘basket of deplorable’ comment. That Donald Trump is now saying Hillary Clinton is showing contempt for the American citizens and voters is hilarious. It shouldn’t be because the whole scenario is messy and clearly what extent this election cycle has boiled down to.

The Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton gets slammed for this, righteously so; still she can justify her comment as there are connections to vicious groups and ideas that Donald Trump never has tried to take a stand against. Donald Trump loves praise and the men and woman who praises him is great people, while the ones criticizing him are the worst and with time there is a few. Even former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has called him a “con-man” and he is not alone. So Trump doesn’t say nice things anymore about the billionaire Bloomberg.

trump-quote-mexico

Trump has called Clinton any name you can mention. The Man has never showed any tact or humility. He has called Mexicans of people rapists. Trump wants to ban Muslims because of their faith. Build a wall to stop immigration from Mexico. Trump has claimed an Indiana judge to be Mexican therefore he couldn’t make a valid decision in his court-case. When asked about it and if an African-American judge wouldn’t judge correctly if they got a one of his court-cases.

Trump has said that John McCain wasn’t a War-Hero for being captured, because you aren’t a hero if you are captured. Trump got question by the Khan’s, the Gold-Star family who he answered with: “Mr. Khan, who does not know me, viciously attacked me from the stage of the DNC and is now all over T.V. doing the same – Nice!” So it’s nice to bark and hassle with the families that lost their sons and daughters for the safety and believing building buildings and businesses – thinking that is sacrifice comparing that to the families that sacrifices the most sacred thing they have with their own family members.

Trump has claimed that Clinton’s have killed people in 1980s and used the Clinton Foundation wrong. While he has used the mafia to build his Trump Tower and also used his own foundation to buy a Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi right before the AG of Florida wanted to join the New York AG to act upon the case against the Trump University and that fraud case. The Trump Foundation paid right before the case got cancelled by the AG. Just a coincidence in the world of Trump… While the Trump Foundation has been caught paying for private time with Tennis Player Serena Williams and Personal Painting of himself. That is something Clinton Foundation wouldn’t do, no matter how shady the business of Clinton Foundation are.

donald-trump-blood-wherever-super-169

Trump shouldn’t say that Clinton has contempt for voters and American citizens. She even apologized and said there we’re attempt of connected with deplorable ideas and people in the camp of Trump; which is true and cannot be dined. Trump hasn’t apologised, he never really apologised to Fox News Megyn Kelly who had “blood out of her wherever” when she was asking hard question at a Republican Debate. The interview after was more slick nonsense than actually manning up for the chauvinistic words from Trump.

Writing these words about his racial and unworthy words is sadly to easy, there are too much to capture. The Breitbart Steve Bannon also has a past and has now taken over for Lewandowski and Manafort. The Trump campaign will be even more Alt-Right, more despair and less hope as the making “America Great Again” hitting the ground and not really running.

The fearmongering and alternative political crass bitchiness of Trump will continue as he even more than once claimed Clinton using the “woman card” like it was Monopoly and that we’re the only card to avoid jail. The unserious and determined Trump continues to brashly attack Clinton. When he shouldn’t address her for words against his supporters; that is just ignorance. But the crowd of Trump is ignorant filled with many Racists, White-Supremacists, Birther’s movement and so on.

Trump is holding all the other ordinary voters and citizens with contempt for how he has flip-flopped and how he doesn’t release vital information while proclaiming former candidates for the same actions. That he doesn’t have the courage to release the IRS Tax Returns or even a real statement from a Doctor where things are not all positive. Trump doesn’t have it in to act real or being honest a reason why Bloomberg and his business-connections in New York is calling Trump a ‘Con-Man’.

bloomberg-trump-quote

Trump has tried to Con people before, he did it with Trump University, Trump Mortgage, Trump Institute, Trump Network and so on. So many licenced projects where he has stifled people and reasons why he has over 3000 court cases; he has in the past not paid contractors, not paid salaries and not paid fees. The business Donald Trump even got caught up in case where he was trying to licence his name on clothes to two different companies and trying to get away with it. Trump has done whatever he can to Con money, because his business savvy mind cannot be perfect when he gets bankrupt again and again in all kind of businesses: Magazines, Casino’s, Building Projects and even Stakes.

The Donald has done his deeds, but has never manned up for the all the people losing their jobs and putting their trust in his name as a business-person. All the investors and all the small-time proprietors who has had faith in the man over the decades has lost monies and he has settled paying back scraps. That is the way he has done his business and with gold letters and mahogany in his hallway.

Donald Trump has not showed tact and humility, not asked for forgiveness for his harsh words and contempt of intelligence in the American population. Trump has expected that his simplistic ways and headline whoring would overshadow the lack of honour and care for somebody else than himself. So when he today says Clinton has contempt for the American citizens and voters. I shrug my head and wonder what about his words and actions? What about Donald Trump’s constant attitude and attacks on men and woman of all kinds?

If she has contempt for the words of “basket of deplorable”; well it is not just words and words of wisdom more of attack on the campaign of fear and destruction. That is what the Trump campaign consists of, it isn’t of hope and prosperity. Trump’s campaign is fuelled of hatred and painful deconstruction of the American dream. The American Dream and the American Melting pot is turned off, the American prosperity and faith in future is dead in Trumps campaign.

Trump is acting as giant who saves them all, but certain kinds he will deport and get away since they are not American enough. The immigrants and others can be handpicked and gotten rid of. Building walls and using all tricks of the political game to gain tractions without thinking about the consequences. Trump only has main target of feeding himself and his own ego.

donald-trump-african-americans

Trump shouldn’t ask Clinton to retract her statement. Clinton should ask Trump if he could apologize to the American People for the rhetoric, the disgusting campaign of fear and destruction, the dissolution and fantasies he spread like truth. The 9/11 stories, the black-on-black crime states and the clear attacks on ‘Black Lives Matters’ as they are the vicious ones not the Police who shoots unarmed African Americans in the inner-cities.

Trump should show humility and do like Clinton. Ask for forgiveness, not that Clinton wrote a good statement, though it can be justified, because the connections to the men and woman who are clearly racists are there. Still, Trump should do the same and write long list and even kiss the ring. He has used his rhetoric and ways to tarnish his own party members and candidates in ways that is unjust not fair. The ways he has attacked Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz is not desirable anywhere.

Do I believe Trump will ask for forgiveness, hell-NO! If he did would I believe it? No! Still , should he do it? Hell-Yes, but it is not in him. He will not humiliate himself and become a ordinary man because of his sky-high ego created by the talk-shows and interviews for decades where he was allowed to be a kid in the candy-shop. Acting wild in the shop where he never met any real sanction for eating the candy and not paying, because the parents take care of that with the cashier!

pierson-reid-800x430

Trump you are in contempt of voters, of the world and of anybody else who are living in this world. Only the Infowars and Breitbart where their scattered worldview is in stark contrast with the non-Tom Cruise Aliens that exists. The vivid perspective of cautions of clarity would be rare as the comments and dirt will be even weirder in this campaign than normal. Trump will act as always and Katrina Pierson will struggle to defend her candidate on MSNBC and CNN. Fox News will continue to salute their candidate without any questions while Tomi Lahren will spread some “conservative” non-sense and believe that hawks of Texas will defend her honour. Trump will believe that Climate Change doesn’t exist even if it does when it comes to his sea-side Golf-Resort in Ireland.

Trump will not ask forgives because he is in reality the candidate in the United States Presidential Election of 2016 who has contempt for the most people. Trump has contempt for anybody who questions his values, his wealth and his ego. Trump has no faith in people like me who has no-problem to destroy his value and grace. Trump cannot stand people like me who does not feel that is really special… though he is special in the way he could Con himself into the Presidential Candidacy in the Republican Party while the establishment bashed in their own previous attempts of greatness. Trump is special in the sense he can get away with “basket of deplorable” statements all the time, while Clinton has to bury her hatched at once. Even if she has been attacked in vicious and vindictive ways from the Republican candidates and the Republican apparatus all through the Primary Season and after; this might be seen as her big gaffe, but Trump should have let this slide. Because he has done far worse and a mountain of disgraceful things about fellow Americans!

donald-trump-quote-shoot-somebody-super-169

Trump is the one that is showing the Americans, the citizens of United States content with this acts and words, his rhetoric and his campaign as he thinks his fellow Americans accept that the policies and the political framework doesn’t matter. That his opinions and his words of racists words doesn’t have effect. That his campaign that has thrown out African-Americans and also kept them out of his rallies isn’t showing the liability of the contempt for the 1st Amendment. He just care about the 2nd Amendment where he can shoot a fellow on the street and still the fellow supporters would not stop him from doing so. That proves to what extent he goes to get his place. He doesn’t care, he doesn’t and that what is worrying that so many doesn’t see the violent and xenophobic hatred that are in his camp.

Trump, you are holding the United States hostage and holding the United States in Contempt and not taking responsibility for your own actions. It is time for you to do so. Act responsible and man-up. I doubt you will do so, because you can’t and you never have because you repels people like me. I have a hard time to believe you have a conscious and can narrate a story with truths. I haven’t seen it, and never believe I will see it or hear it. You don’t have it in you. Trump you can continue to blame all the problems of the world on Clinton and Obama. Continue and say they even started the Ice-Age and we’re behind the Armenian Genocide. But you will never ever take responsibility and therefore you are showing contempt of all American citizens for the way has acted. Peace.

Donald Trump haven’t only made “Good Deals” he has failed exeptionally well; failures like in Scotland, Atlantic City, Airplane Company and Vodka; with this business-model, I doubt he will able to “make America Great again!”

donald-trump-make-america-great

Donald Trump the Reality TV Star who is famous for saying “You’re fired” and also for hosting a Miss Universe contest. He is not famous for being a politician and therefore I have not taken him seriously as Jon Steward on the Comedy Central bashed him on the day he announced his intention for running as President as he had a speech on the 16th June 2015 as a Republic Party Presidential Candidate.

He usually talks about how he can make good deals and do that in Government, I will show how he has done in the past to prove that he is not all good, and has earned money on government funding, fathers inheritance, and also destroying other people’s possibility to earn while smashing other people livelihood for his own benefit, as he has done in Scotland and Atlantic City.

282503308-stoptrumpus-cease-desist9-22-15-p1-normal

I could have bashed him for his empty rhetoric and for not telling how to really make “America Great Again” as he is an empty suit with no moral fiber what-so-ever as he uses Immigration policy and spread fear  to the public to gain momentum and surge of the angry clue-less white rednecks; who couldn’t open a book or read a Foucault explanation on how “Governance” supposed to be. As he believes he can with he deals structure can fix everything. While I doubt it, as the structures and procedures will stifle him, as he is not an island at the White House and in the Senate and House of Representative in Congress; as he has to follow the guidelines of these outfits.

USA_Government_Branches_Infographic

Something he can’t dictate as he does with his Trump Organization where all the Yes Men follow his every move; the same will not happen there as he cannot be the grand dictator and authoritarian leader who owns Capitol Hill, as it seems the “American Great Again” doesn’t have the pulse. But follows on the fear and not on political framework, unless Mr. Trump himself earns on the new taxation reforms, not for the public; as he is a rich man who doesn’t want to be more taxed. He wants to continue to have low tax on the rich and continue to have close to 30% tax on blue-collars and working-class, not the rich, or giant International Companies, as they have loop-holes and systems to get money to tax-heavens instead of paying tax directly in the United States. This is an international problem, but with the growing debt and less income, while having issues to pay to gain growth, there must be a way of getting the wheels rolling. But I don’t see that from Mr. Trump, rather from Bernie Sanders. That is just me. Let’s take a look at some of the bad-deals of Mr. Trump!

Trump 1990 People's Magazine

His value in 1990 out of his People’s Magazine Article:

“Indeed, Wall Street sources say that the purpose of the bailout is not to get Trump up and running, but merely to buy time for the banks to oversee the sale of virtually all of his assets. Donald Trump’s empire, once valued at $3 billion, may be as good as gone, and even his private wealth is at risk. His debt is said to include $500 million in personal loans, and though he claims to be worth more than that, some analysts assay his net worth at less than zero” (Kunen, 1990).

How he really earned his wealth:

“Trump was born in New York City in 1946, the son of real estate tycoon Fred Trump. Fred Trump’s business success not only provided Donald Trump with a posh youth of private schools and economic security but eventually blessed him with an inheritance worth an estimated $40 million to $200 million” (…)”In 1990, due to excessive leveraging, The Trump Organization revealed that it was $5 billion in debt ($8.8 billion by some estimates), with $1 billion personally guaranteed by Trump himself. The survival of the company was made possible only by a bailout pact agreed upon in August of that same year by some 70 banks, allowing Trump to defer on nearly $1 billion in debt, as well as to take out second and third mortgages on almost all of his properties” (…)”In 1995 Trump took Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts Inc. public and received a substantial financial boost from society and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations that enable the market to function. He initially sold 10 million shares at $14 per share and then in 1996 sold 13.25 million shares at $32.50 a share. This initial public offering granted Trump’s company a stability and legitimacy that would have been impossible without millions of people around the world trusting his organization and investing with the hope of shared success” (Lapham & Miller, 2012).

Now on some of his direct bad deals as the Scottish adventure, Atlantic City’s Casino’s, Trump Shuttle and Trump Vodka, take a look!

golfscenery_TRUMPSCOTLAND

Scottish adventure as his bullies the land of inheritance:

Where he wanted to build a Golf Resort:

“The site comprises the Menie Estate an area of 452 hectares (ha) of estate policies, agricultural land, heath and dune. It is located between the A90 trunk road (A90T) and the sea about 14 km north of Aberdeen city centre, and 8 km from the northern limit of the city at the conference centre. The eastern boundary with the foreshore at the high water mark is approximately 4.2 km long, while the site narrows to the west so that the boundary with the trunk road is no more than 1.1 km. At its widest the site is about 2 km from east to west. Balmedie Country Park lies immediately to the south on the coast, while further to the west and south farmland separates the site from the village of Balmedie” (…)”The Menie Estate was most recently used for a combination of commercial shooting and some agriculture but now forms the operating base for the applicant company; Menie House is undergoing restoration as a residence. Since taking ownership Mr Trump has stopped both shooting and hunting on the land” (…)”Mr Trump has been concerned about the environmental effects of the development from the outset, although he acknowledged that he did not know the land was protected when he bought it” (…)”  A world class golf course also requires world class facilities. The clubhouse would be the nucleus of the development. The hotel would be a grand five star building that would complement the landscape in the same way that the hotels at Turnberry and Gleneagles do. The hotel and conference centre would attract golfers and non-golfers. Mr Trump believes that it would in itself be a major boost to the economy of the north east of Scotland”  (Scottish Government, 2008). That was back in 2008 and was in the recommended because of the economic prosperity in the area at the cost of the special sand-dunes that had an environmental unique place in European standard, but for the price of getting a world-class golf-course was the price the Government of Scotland accepted together with the Aberdeenshire Council” (Scottish Government 2008).

Trump Turbines Aberdeen

Some other local punters – A timeline of actions from Trump in Scotland:

“Then, on 3 November 2008, the Scottish Government granted outline planning permission for the resort, subject to 46 conditions, indicating that ‘there was significant economic and social benefit to be gained from this project’ (Scottish Government 2008b). Again, the response to this decision was predictably polarised. Industry and tourism leaders declared that it demonstrated that the North-east, and Scotland more widely, was ‘open for business’ (Whitaker, 2008a); while environmentalists feared that it would set a ‘precedent which will undermine the whole protected-sites network in Scotland’ (Urquhart, 2008)” (…)”In May 2009, it emerged that Trump International, in preparing its detailed resort masterplan, had advised Aberdeenshire Council that it would be lodging further applications for outline planning permission, but for eight parcels of land not currently owned by the organisation. These included four private homes that Trump International was hoping to acquire through ‘amicable’ discussion. It also emerged, however, that Aberdeenshire Council had prepared a briefing note for councillors which raised the prospect of compulsory purchase orders being used to secure the land (Ross 2009), although Trump International insisted that this would only be pursued as an ‘absolute last resort’ (Urquhart 2009)” (…)”Eventually, in January 2011, Trump announced that he would not be seeking compulsory purchase orders for the residential properties; that he would effectively build his course around them. However, Trump also claimed that ‘we have consistently said that we have no interest in compulsory purchase and have never applied for it’ (Urquhart, 2011). This was despite the existence of a letter from early 2009, released under freedom of information, in which his legal representatives had clearly asked Aberdeenshire Council ‘to exercise its powers of compulsory purchase…to acquire the eight plots of land on behalf of TIGLE’. That letter has become widely available online (see, for example, Scottish Green Party, 2011)” (Baxter, 2014). “In 2013, the Scottish government approved plans for the installation of wind turbines off the Aberdeenshire coast – which would generate enough energy to power 68,000 homes. Trump soon claimed that having this windfarm near his golf course “would spoil the view”, and thus entered into a legal battle against the project. But this was a battle he would lose, leading Alex Salmond to call him “three times a loser” and argue that the legal process had potentially jeopardised “a vital £200 million boost for the economy of the North East of Scotland”. In response to Salmond’s comments, a Trump Organisation spokesman said the former first minister had an “overinflated ego” and that the Scottish government was embarking on a “dangerous experiment with wind energy” which was based on a “foolish, small-minded and parochial mentality”. This in spite of the fact that wind energy is now considered to be the cheapest energy technology available in the UK” (Sabio, 2015).

Alex Salmond regrets Opening business for Trump:

“There is nothing wrong with his golf courses, the problem is that Trump Turnberry is unlikely to ever get on The Open circuit. If Turnberry doesn’t get an Open, then that costs the Scottish economy £100m” (…)“I think the association with Trump is now net damaging to the Scottish economy.” (Schmid, 2016).

This here proves that all of his business is not a good deal as he has taken some of the special areas of Scotland, not followed his promise, stifled the locals and had issues the Government over their own development as the sufficient work with the Golf Course and area that Trump Organization had planned for the area, is not working as well as the Locals or Trump hoped for; as the development of the project never got into the stages that Trump promised.

Donald-Trump-Eminent-Domain

Atlantic City Casinos gone bad, his response to newspaper actually writing about him:

“He said the bankruptcy was the result of external forces beyond his control, specifically an extremely bad economy in 1990. He said he had “the prerogative” to change his mind about using junk bonds in the financing” (…) “I didn’t want to have any personal liability, so I used junk bonds. I accept the blame for that, but I would do it again,” he said. But Trump vehemently denied that the deal represented a personal failing or affected his personal wealth” (…) “This was not personal. This was a corporate deal,” he said. “If you write this one, I’m suing you.” (Bandler, 2016).

Here are outtakes of the deals done in Atlantic City:

“The casino opened in April of 1990. Just over a year later, Trump was not going to be able to make his June payments. The Times said Trump was on the hook for $900 million that year, and the Taj Mahal eventually filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Trump lost about half of his interest in the casino, and had to sell his private yacht and plane to help pay his losses. His creditors even put him on a budget (of $5.4 million, so … not that bad of one)” (…)“Trump Plaza was the next to fall out of his control. It was hemorrhaging cash in the early 1990s — Johnston estimates that, in the end, Trump lost about a million courting high-roller Kashiwagi (who was found dead, stabbed 150 times, in Japan in 1992) — and filed for bankruptcy protection in November. The banks took a 49 percent stake in the Plaza in exchange for more favorable terms on the $550 million in debt the building had on it. Trump remained as CEO, but no longer had a role in day-to-day operations” (McQuade, 2015).

How the Locals in Atlantic City feels about Trump:

“Sen. Jim Whelan (D-Atlantic) said Trump’s legacy in the city is a “mixed one.” (…)”The notion that he was somehow responsible for the success that Atlantic City had is not accurate,” said Whelan (D-Atlantic), who was the city’s mayor in the 1990s. “Nor is he responsible for the problems we now have.” (…)”Whelan said Atlantic City already had casino gambling for several years when Trump arrived, adding: “It’s not like he was a pioneer.” (…)”Experts said Trump ran his casinos like other owners did — and stressed that he didn’t simply leave the city on his own terms. Though Trump’s casinos were hurt by the same factors as the others in Atlantic City — a sputtering economy and growing competition from neighboring states — and though other casino companies filed for bankruptcy over the years, his companies’ four bankruptcies are also more than any other in town” (Johnson, 2015).

Trump Shuttle

Another deal gone sour was “Trump Shuttle” or his Airlines:

“NEW YORK — The sky became the limit Thursday for real estate mogul Donald Trump with the maiden flights of his Trump Shuttle service – fashioned from the innovative Eastern shuttle — taking off after a fog delay” (…)”The inaugural voyages of the Trump Shuttle, with four newly painted airplanes bearing the developer’s name, were scheduled for 7 a.m. in New York, Washington and Boston. All were delayed at least 20 minutes by thick fog in New York and Boston” (…)”Trump purchased the shuttle for $365 million from strike-battered Eastern Airlines, which is owned by the Texas Air Corp. The deal was approved May 24 by a federal judge overseeing Eastern’s reorganization under Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy code” (…)”Trump hired some 1,000 workers, 800 of them former Eastern employees, for the new service, said Bruce Nobles, the shuttle’s president and chief operating officer” (…)”’People are really tired of being pushed around at Pan Am. Pan Am is not exactly one of the great stalwarts of the industry,’ Trump said. ‘We’ll have the safest, most beautiful planes in the air and we’ll have the best service.‘” (…)”Trump said he expected the fare to remain at $99, the same as Pan Am, but, ‘We’ll match any price on the market’” (Wolfhorst, 1989). Already in 1991: “USAir will retain the Trump Shuttle’s employees and has an “understanding” with its unions over the shuttle’s operations, Goldman said. USAir is holding talks with its unions seeking major concessions to help it ride out the recession and its heavy losses” (…)”The USAir deal must still win final approval from the group of approximately 40 banks involved in Trump’s finances and win regulatory approval from the Transportation and Justice departments” (…)”Trump said yesterday that the deal helps him reduce his debt. “That’s what we’ve been doing for the last year is knocking the hell out of debt,” he said. “USAir is a fine company, and the shuttle is a great asset.” (Hamilton, 1991).  In 1992 this happen to it: “On Mar. 13, he is expected to conclude the final segments of a massive debt restructuring, which will give lenders the Trump Shuttle airline and hand over 49% of the Plaza Hotel in exchange for a lower mortgage-interest rate” (Businessweek Archives, 1992).

Trump_Shuttle_727_safety

In 1993 the result was this: “A USAir Shuttle spokesman says the 87 were fired because the company wanted “an optimized cost-efficient operation.” Their work will now be done by an outside contractor who can do I more cheaply, says Terry Hallcom, manager of the shuttle. (USAir manages the former Trump Shuttle for Citicorp and about 20 other banks that acquired it when Donald Trump defaulted on $380 million in 1991.) “The shuttle management needed to cut jobs to cut costs,” says Citicorp spokeswoman Amy Dates. “We at Citicorp have gone through our own restructuring but have also gotten through it.” (People’s Magazine, 1993). You can say that the Trump Shuttle didn’t work out and the workers lost their jobs on the speculations of Donald Trump. As the Banks to ownership together with 20 Banks who salvaged the ownership of the company. That is a manifestation of how bad this deal was for Trump.

Trump-vodka

Trump Vodka ended with the bottum-up:

Then we have his fallen throne with the alcoholic beverage Trump Vodka. Here is some on this: “Trump Vodka will be a major player in the vodka arena – it’s a superb product and it’s beautifully packaged,” boasted the teetotaling magnate. Cases of the Dutch-distilled, big-name booze were transported across a red carpet – behind velvet ropes – to a waiting delivery van. A Port Authority police escort accompanied the van to a warehouse in Long Island City, from where Trump Vodka will be distributed. It’s being advertised as “a vodka worthy of the Trump name” and will be sold in a “special gold crafted bottle” designed by graphic artist Milton Glaser, creator of the iconic “I [heart] NY” logo. Patrick Kenny of Drinks Americas Holdings Ltd., said all that matters is that his name is on the bottle. “It’s no secret that Donald Trump doesn’t drink,” he said. “But we’re in the super premium vodka market, and there’s nobody who markets better in the luxury category than Donald Trump” (…) “A one-liter bottle of Trump Vodka will sell for about $30” (Woodberry & Corky JR, 2006). A review of the dink: “The vodka, a five-times-distilled Dutch vodka by renowned distiller Jacques de Lat, is made from select European wheat. After distilling, the vodka is stored in stainless steel tanks for six months, run through a carbon filtration process twice, then a 9-column filtration process, and finally carbon filtered two more times. The vodka is then bottled in a sleek, tapered design from Bruni Glass, with label and packaging by the legendary graphic designer Milton Glaser. The result is what we’ve come to expect from anything branded with the Trump name. For all the attention to detail in the packaging and design, this is a vodka that doesn’t even make a good mixed drink. All of that filtration the vodka goes through has resulted in a spirit more akin to fuel treatment. The burn on the finish is intolerable – more “your mouth’s on fire” than “you’re fired” – with no discernable flavor from the wheat, and an oddly thin consistency for a spirit made from a heavy grain” (Sudo, 2007). In 2009 this happen to the company distributing the beverage: “J. Patrick Kenny, the Company’s CEO, stated, “We believe that this financing is very favorable for the Company especially in this challenging economic environment. The transaction will provide the Company with an immediate and near term cash infusion which will enhance our cash flow and enable us to continue to grow and expand our brands. Prominent in this growth is our imminent beer launch with Kid Rock, our growing Leyrat Cognac business, the continued growth of Trump Vodka and our rapidly growing Olfiant Vodka business, all of which this financing will help facilitate.” (Business Wire, 2009). Something is never seen or heard about since, the reports later said because of lack of interest for the beverage, the production of Trump Vodka went out in 2011. Though there are rumors that is still on sale in Israel as a Israeli Company got the license for in in 2010 from American Holdings Ltd and sell it for 15 years, as it the same year was sued from the Trump Organization, how the court case or beverage is; is not an easy task since there is so little precedence or evidence of actual production, as you can only buy from the early 2000s when the production of it was on Ebay, if you’re a fantastic fan of Trump and get a golden bottle.

Trump Old Newsweek

As I have showed he did not make money from scratch, he is not a self-made Millionaire or Billionaire! He inherent and gained early on the property market after his father’s rise in the business in New York; he did not come with Oliver Twist lifestyle and suddenly by pure genius gain an economic rise. That is somebody else who has done, not him.

Trump Quote

In the 1990s he went totally bankrupt; he was bailed out by big-government and luck of connection in banks as they gave him leverage on the property that could be profitable in the future. A possibility an ordinary person would never achieve or get. The rich also get better service and better treatment then the working-class. He was even at one point valued zero and having accumulated pure debt, while working with most of the banks to restructure his businesses. At this point there we’re none good deals, as he failed in the Air, later in beverage with his Vodka, also Casino’s that was not profitable in Atlantic City and his Scottish adventure that has not become what he promised Alex Salmond or the Aberdeenshire Council as they have lost both green energy source and a future potential tourism site; and a world-class golf course as he didn’t care for the locals, they just had to be happy that he could do as he please and his will was the best, and nothing else did matter. The same way he is discussing matter as a politician.

The Trentonian Trump Front Page

He tells the world he only make “Good Deals” then he must have a reactive memory, or a selective memory, this is not all of them, as this some of the big ones. And a reminder of the matter at hand; if he has plans of making America greater in this way then he will be a Machiavellian Lord who will do as he please without thinking consequence of the ordinary person or the effect of the policy/law. That should be stressed and thought about as the trickledown economics isn’t really a functional and the riches he gained wasn’t by rare luck, though he lived by the posh lifestyle by how he raised. He was raised rich and made himself even richer. There is a saying: “you need money to make money”. That is surely the tale of Mr. Trump. Not a good deal made his wealth, and if it wasn’t for the mercy of the state and the banks in 1990s he wouldn’t have been able to wealthy today. That is why he was positive to the Barrack Obama’s Stimulus Package to save the economy as it was similar to how his own businesses were saved. He could not hate something that saved his own skin. Even if he fear immigrants as his heritage is from Scottish roots and family coming from Europe back in the day. The irony is there and he is surely a strange clone in the elections in the United States. I have now on my page this described and showed something sinister of two candidates there, the first was Jeb Bush and now Donald Trump. I took the economic approach and not his human vision as it is ghastly and not worth spending my mind on or finding his terrible quotes as it is fear-mongering and not worth ink. This is enough for today. Peace.
