Sudan: The Civil Front to stop the War and Restore the Democracy – Important Statement (09.05.2023)

Elements of the defunct regime continue their attempt to liquidate the revolutionary forces after they ignited the war through an organized campaign that began targeting political and civil forces, doctors, journalists, public opinion leaders, and resistance committees.

The Civil Front for Stopping War and Restoring Democracy believes that the incident of targeting resistance committees and attempting to betray them and accusing them of siding with one of the two sides of the conflict is the same approach that sought to betray doctors, question their professionalism, and accuse them of the same accusation, and by them the political and civil forces that declared their position rejecting the war, which holds both sides of the war, attacked Conflict full responsibility for what happened.

This clarifies more and more an important goal of this war, which is to completely liquidate the forces of the revolution and pounce on them, especially since the hate speech and media propaganda of the elements of the isolated regime unequivocally exposed their plans.

The Civil Front warns against exploiting the elements of the defunct regime of the armed forces and their various platforms to settle scores with the political forces and the living civil society. It also affirms that the armed forces must be a national institution, which must not be exploited or siding with any political or ideological group, especially if that group stands against the process of civil-democratic transformation and seeks to restore the isolated totalitarian regime.

The Civil Front to Stop the War and Restore Democracy with all civil, political and societal forces seeking to achieve democratic transition, civil transformation, and achieve the goals and aspirations of the glorious December Revolution, renews the call for rallying and continuous and joint action to stop the war, coordinate positions and efforts, and continue to besiege war and hate speech.

Sudan: The Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) – Important Statement (08.05.2023)

Our country is still living in the atmosphere of the war, which is entering its fourth week, which reinforces the catastrophic conditions that are exacerbating day after day from our position calling for the need to stop it immediately without delay.

In the midst of the tragedies of the accursed war, we have mercy on all the martyrs who fell in it, and we wish the speedy recovery of the injured and the wounded, the safe return of the missing, and the safety of all our people in war zones who are patient in their hell and who were forced by the circumstances of armed clashes to search for a safe haven.

We extend our salutations, thanks and gratitude to the male and female doctors of Sudan who did not break the oath of the profession, so they worked in the darkest moments and the worst conditions and without capabilities and recorded an epic and presented martyrs and martyrs and risked their lives so that others might live.

Our mission also bows to the male and female volunteers of the Sudanese youth and the members and members of the resistance committees and emergency rooms throughout the state of Khartoum who voluntarily rushed to fill the void resulting from the absence of the state apparatus in the areas of health services, securing neighborhoods, providing and organizing the distribution of the necessary and necessary needs, as well as receiving those coming from war zones or those present At the border crossings, they have confirmed that the future of Sudan is in safe hands.

In light of these extremely dangerous circumstances, other sectors presented honorable models in order to reduce the damage to citizens, especially those working in the fields of electricity and water services. They strive to provide these services.

Sudanese men and women presented luminous models of interdependence, cohesion and synergy inspired by our Sudanese social heritage. A unique and cohesive fabric in adversity and misfortune, so people opened their homes and shared “food and bread” in the cities and countryside of the regions and states. The country, despite these circumstances, was devoid of any camps for the displaced in the states near Khartoum, emphasizing that What unites the people of the same country is stronger and deeper than all calls, strife, hate speech and discrimination on the basis of culture, tribe or religion.

Many neighboring, friendly and loving countries of the Sudanese people hastened to open the borders to receive those departing from the war zones or to extend the residence of the stranded and host them and to provide humanitarian aid and organize talks to end the war and support the legitimate aspirations of the Sudanese people for freedom, peace, justice and the restoration of civil rule. Our people will never forget the stand of our neighbors and friends from The governments and people who supported him through this ordeal.

In the Forces for Freedom and Change, we affirm our firm position that is not subject to any outbidding or extortion, that this war must be ended and stopped immediately, and support joint discussions between its two sides in the Saudi city of Jeddah, according to the Saudi-American initiative, to reach a cease-fire and resolve contentious issues through a comprehensive political solution that leads to peace, justice, civil democratic transformation, and security reform. And a military one leads to a single professional national army that distances itself from politics

The Forces for Freedom and Change monitor the plans of the exterminated regime and its dissolved party aimed at transferring the war to other regions and turning it into a civil war by exploiting the incitement of tribal strife and exploiting the absence of state institutions. To work together and together to thwart this miserable and hopeless evil scheme and to end the last episodes of the exterminated regime and its dreams of returning to rule the country or razing it over the head of everyone as a punishment to all Sudanese men and women for the December revolution that ended their hateful rule that extended for thirty lean years.

The will of our people for life will triumph over the reality of war and for the sake of peace, freedom and justice, and it will ultimately defeat all those who oppose it.

Sudan: Al Kalakla and South Khartoum Resistance Committees Coordination – Armed Forces Statement (08.05.2023)

We begin by paying respect to the martyrs of the great December Revolution and the treacherous putschists war. Speedy recovery for the wounded and injured, safe return to all the missing and displaced.

Our resistant People:

In spite of this accursed war, the suffering of which we are currently experiencing, we witnessed a shameless statement on the platform of the Armed Forces, in which two members of the Resistance Committees were detained and accused of conspiring with the Rapid Support Militia.

The resistance committees made sacrifices for the sake of this country, not made by any of the leaders of the fateful October 25 coup. The committees tirelessly provided much-needed humanitarian aid in response to the crisis caused by the war. extended to health emergency teams, where members responded to the moral and humanitarian call to action, striving to save as many innocent lives as possible. In contrast, the war leaders showed a complete lack of care or conscience towards the same innocent lives they were tasked to protect.

We have rejected the war since its inception, we reject it now, and we will reject it in the future because of its consequences on the country and the citizen. What was stated on the Armed Forces platform is nothing more than a long-standing disgrace that gets resurfaced every time they try to conceal it.

What was said in another statement on the Rapid Support Militia’s platform will not sway us from our position towards the dissolution of these forces that wreak havoc in the land, the resistance committees are not the ones who granted legitimacy or provide political and economic support to this militia and will not be a tool for either party nor will they promote war, chaos, or destruction. Rather, will continue to advocate for peace and work towards fulfilling the demands of the revolution based on the principles and values on which it was founded.

Our revolutionary comrades:

We, in Al Kalakla and South Khartoum Resistance Committees Coordination, condemn the behavior of the war leaders and their involvement of the resistance committees in their power struggle. We hold the military leadership and intelligence responsible for the safety of the detained revolutionaries. We affirm that we do not support any side over the other, and we reject this war in its entirety.

Our revolution’s demands remain firm and unchanged, including the return of the military to the barracks and the dissolution of the Janjaweed militias.

Sudan: The Civil Front to stop the war and Restore The Democracy – Important Statement (06.05.2023)

The Civil Front for Stopping War and Restoring Democracy welcomes the beginning of negotiations between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, which discuss opening safe passages to provide humanitarian aid and a cease-fire between the two parties.

The Civil Front for Stopping War and Restoring Democracy appreciates the efforts of the United States of America and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all efforts and positions to stop the war in Sudan.

We hope that these negotiations will be a step towards stopping the war, providing medical and health services, and providing the necessary assistance to enable civilians to restore their normal lives.

We also hope that the two parties will work seriously and tangibly to abide by the declared truce, as armed clashes are still continuing intermittently in a number of areas of Khartoum state, and firing and heavy artillery are being fired among residential neighborhoods and vital and public facilities, exposing hundreds of thousands of civilians to danger.

The Civil Front to Stop War and Restore Democracy warns of the deterioration of the economic, security and living conditions of civilians after the security vacuum, the spread of looting and the destruction of industrial facilities, markets, shops, hospitals and pharmacies, and the conversion of some of them into military barracks, with hundreds of thousands of civilians losing food security as a result of the poor security conditions and the cessation of the arrival of foodstuffs To the markets inside and outside the state of Khartoum and the high costs of obtaining them.

The situation in the city of El-Obeid in the state of North Kordofan gives cause for concern after clashes took place between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces, which requires that the two parties resort to the voice of reason and wisdom and not engage in armed confrontations, in addition to the poor health conditions in many cities of Sudan as a result of the lack of medical services.

The Civil Front to stop the war and restore democracy calls on the civil, political and societal forces seeking to achieve democratic transition and civil transformation and achieve the goals and aspirations of the glorious December Revolution to unite and continuous and joint action to stop the war, coordinate positions and efforts, and continue to besiege war and hate speech.

Sudan: “Voice of the Revolution” Foundation – Statement on the ongoing battles in Sudan (03.05.2023)

Gentlemen, followers of the Voice of the Revolution page

In these difficult and pivotal moments in the history of our country, and in light of the exacerbated humanitarian conditions due to this accursed war, we in the Society of the Voice of the Revolution Foundation would not have stood idly by while our country threatened its existence.

However, the horror and suddenness of the war, the divergent alignments and positions among the forces of the revolution and civil society organizations towards this war, and the raging debates within the “Voice of the Revolution” community delayed the institution’s adoption of a clear political line in these complex moments in the history of our dear country.

This armed conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces comes in the complete absence of civilian sovereignty and in the context of the Security Committee’s coup against the democratic transition, over the shameful positions of the military establishment since April 11, 2019 and its obstruction – in various ways and means – of the path of civilizing political life in the country.

The leadership of the military institution – represented by the Sovereignty Council’s military – is the first and last responsible for the humanitarian damage resulting from this war, through its direct contribution to the development of military, logistical, economic and political capabilities for rapid support.

Despite all of this, we concluded in the “Voice of the Revolution” community that there is no comparison whatsoever between the military institution and the Rapid Support militia, neither in terms of belief nor legitimacy. As the Sudanese Armed Forces remain the only forces that have the right to monopolize the legitimate use of weapons in the Sudanese state. With our great reservations about the violent history of this institution and its direct responsibility for the occurrence of this disaster.

And based on all of the above, we decided in the “Voice of the Revolution” community – in order to fulfill the right – to stand by our people and contribute to their protection. And that is by monitoring the violations of the Rapid Support militia and its war crimes resulting from its protection of civilians, taking them as human shields, looting citizens’ capabilities and property, terrorizing them in their homes, and attacking service and health institutions, and we will not hesitate to monitor any violations or failure of the regular forces to maintain citizen security.

Long live the struggle of the Sudanese national movement, glory to the martyrs of the Sudanese revolution, mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs of this war of civilians and soldiers of the armed forces, speedy recovery for the wounded, and the safe return of the missing, the displaced and the refugees.

Sudan: The Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) – Statement (03.05.2023)

The accursed war that broke out in various parts of Sudan completes its third week, as the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe afflicting the country increases daily, including killing, displacement, displacement, asylum, ethnic confrontations, the collapse of the health sector and basic services, the destruction of infrastructure, and the situation of the state entity itself at risk of fragmentation and collapse.

We, in the forces of freedom and change, have mercy on the dear souls that we lost during this war, and we wish a speedy recovery for the wounded and a return for the missing.. In view of the continuation of this reprehensible war, we summarize our vision on the current situation as follows:

First: We renew in the Forces for Freedom and Change our principled position rejecting this war and its continuation, and we communicate with the leadership of the Armed Forces and Rapid Support to urge them to stop the fighting and abide by the declared humanitarian truce, and the need to reach an urgent and permanent ceasefire that paves the way for a peaceful political solution that preserves the unity, security, peace and freedom of the country. And his dignity.

Second: We condemn all forms of violations that occur as a result of this war against defenseless civilians, acts of looting, assault, intimidation, and the use of heavy and light weapons within populated areas. We call for its immediate cessation and the opening of safe paths that enable national and international organizations working in the humanitarian field to deal with the disastrous effects of the war.

Third: We commend the important step taken by the forces of the revolution in establishing the Civil Front to stop the war and restore democracy, which included a wide spectrum of political forces, resistance committees, democratic civil society, professional groups, elected unions, and patriotic personalities, and we affirm our full support for expanding this front, developing its work, and tightening coordination among its components.

Fourth: We welcome the international and regional initiatives calling for a permanent ceasefire and a comprehensive political solution that ends the war, addresses its effects and ensures that it does not recur again. In this context, we commend the important steps taken by the US-Saudi initiative, and we appreciate the important role played by the United Nations, the African Union and IGAD. Through the tripartite mechanism, the Quartet countries, the troika, the European Union, the Arab League and all the efforts that are directed towards stopping the war and not fueling it. We call for the coordination and integration of these initiatives, building on the steps taken and strengthening cooperation in the humanitarian field to respond to the basic needs of those affected by this war.

Fifth: We are following the escalating campaign behind which the remnants of the defunct regime and their collaborators stand behind, seeking to hide their crime that they committed by dragging the country into this war and fueling its fire, by spreading baseless lies that attribute this armed conflict to the political process and the framework agreement that came to spare the country from this war, or spreading a lie that says That freedom and change called for this war or wanted to carry out a coup, which are all naive and baseless propaganda.

The threats posed by the remnants and their aides to the leaders of the Forces for Freedom and Change and the democratic civil forces and personalities expose their true role in igniting this war and their goals from it. Their plan is exposed and exposed, and our people will inevitably nullify it, and our country will emerge strong and healthy from this crisis.

In conclusion, we call on the sons and daughters of our people to retire from this war sedition, work to stop it, distance themselves from hate speech, regionalism and racism, and confront the plans of the remnants that increase its ignition. Our country is now facing a test that threatens the existence of the state and warns of the collapse of the homeland. This war and the achievement of our national goals of peace, justice, freedom and a decent life for all segments of our people without discrimination.
