Since the announcement of the military coup on October 25, our people have announced it every moment and every day with tireless determination, courage and determination that inspires the whole world that the coup will not pass, and that its aspiration for a civil state and a peaceful democratic transformation is irreversible and that its will is irreversible.
In advance, for this purpose, the martyrs, the wounded, and the detainees in all parts of the country.
We, the ministers of the legitimate transitional government, proceed in the same path and do not deviate from it, inspired by the struggle of our people, its living forces, its present and its rich legacy in resisting military dictatorships and bringing them down in three successive generations. We declare the following:
Renewing our categorical rejection of the military coup and all that it entailed. And the call to lift the state of emergency and release the prime minister, our fellow ministers, and all political detainees, without exception.
We affirm our firm condemnation of violence, repression and systematic attacks by the security forces against peaceful demonstrators. And the campaigns of arrests, which affected hundreds of sons and daughters of the people all over the country, and we call for a serious and strict investigation to prosecute the perpetrators involved in the killing of demonstrators and the barbaric assault on them.
– We confirm that the military coup is a reversal of the important achievements of the transitional government, which was to raise the name Sudan is one of the state sponsors of terrorism, debt relief and obtaining billions in grants, and the beginning of the recovery of the Sudanese economy, represented by the stability of the exchange rate, the reduction of inflation rates, the increase in the Central Bank of Sudan’s balance of gold and free currencies, and the noticeable increase in agricultural and animal production.
The coup also halted work in progress on important projects in many sectors such as infrastructure, energy, health and education.
We warn that proceeding with the coup plot will return our country to the circle of international isolation and the suffocating siege that our people have tasted the bitter fruits of for three grim decades.
– We reject the unfair and arbitrary dismissal of civil servants and their replacement with the remnants of the outgoing era.
– We call on all the forces of the revolution to unite and to give priority to the common concern for the future of our country over the secondary contradictions between the political forces to confront the military coup and organize their ranks for the revolutionary escalation until the overthrow of the coup.
– We highly appreciate all the broad international and regional support for the Sudanese people in their valiant opposition to the military coup, and we express our appreciation and support for all the sincere international, regional and national efforts and support for our people’s struggle.
The aim is to search for a way out of the current national crisis, leading to the end of the military coup and the complete liquidation of its effects.
