Sudan: Coordination of Khartoum State Resistance Committes – Joint Press Release – The General Command Sit-in Dispersal Massacre Commemoration (29.04.2022)

Our people resisting the coup:

At first, we condemn the massacres perpetrated by the coup authorities, regular forces of all divisions, and armed movements’ forces in West Darfur state (El Geneina and Kreinik), which are a continuation of wasting Sudanese lives and shedding Sudanese blood. However, Sudanese blood is one, and we hold the coup authority, its judicial and regular institutions, and its militias fully responsible for what is occurring in Darfur, and we will work to hold everyone responsible for every suffering and harm experienced by our people in the Darfur region accountable.

Our steadfast people:

The case of the General Command sit-in remained unresolved for two years. We followed the statements of the Chairman of the Independent National Committee to investigate this crime (Nabil Adeeb) a year and a half ago when he said that the revelation of the investigation’s findings may result in a military coup, which occurred on October 25, 2021. It was one of the reasons, along with the dismantling of the regime on June 30, 1989, the recovery of public funds, the extradition of ousted Omar al-Bashir and his associates to the International Criminal Court, and the approaching handover of power to civilians and the military’s removal from the political process. The transitional period necessitates an evaluation of the experience and a study of all of its positives and negatives in order to avoid similar occurrences in the future. We stand with the Sudanese street’s demands that it only negotiate the transfer of power to civilians and the return of the military to the barracks and a purely civilian authority, that there is no legitimacy for any military coup or sitting with putschists in a settlement, and that the previous experience was the best example that the military institution cannot be entrusted with the principles of the glorious December revolution.

Our honorable people:

There is no reconciliation or negotiation with the former regime, its dissolved party and its façade, or with the general Islamic political parties that want to re-emerge through the calls of the tripartite mechanism in the so-called Sudanese dialogue. We categorically reject their entry into any political process, as do those who fell with the Salvation regime and the dissolved National Congress Party, as well as all parties that participated in it until April 11, 2019 and fell with it, and we emphasize that anyone who pursues cheap settlements and scrambles for power by selling the blood of martyrs puts themselves in the same category as the putschists. There is no distinction between the killer and those that aid them via incubators that do not represent the Sudanese people or the revolutionary street.

Our hero people:

We will march again to overthrow the coup and its authority on the General Command Sit-in Dispersal Massacre commemoration, which coincides with the 29th of Ramadan.

This massacre and treachery practiced by the same names and soldiers who turned against the glorious December revolution. Accordingly, the processions of “Khartoum State Coordination” will go to (Siteen Street) and the tracks will be determined by the field committees later.

We call on all revolutionaries to burn tires and barricade the streets prior to the procession of the General Command Sit-in Dispersal Massacre commemoration on the morning of the twenty-ninth.

Sudan: Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) – Press Statement- About the meeting of the delegation of international envoys visiting Sudan (29.04.2022)

On Thursday evening, April 28, 2022 AD, a delegation from the leadership of the Forces of Freedom and Change met the visiting delegation consisting of envoys from the United States of America, the European Union, Britain, Norway, Germany and France. At their kind invitation, the meeting discussed the developments of the situation in Sudan following the coup of October 25, 2021 and its repercussions.

– The Forces of Freedom and Change welcome the international position in support of the Sudanese people’s demands for freedom, peace and justice, and our willingness to deal positively with the political process facilitated by the tripartite mechanism when it is confirmed that it will lead to ending the revolutionary situation and establishing a solid civil, democratic transitional path that expresses the hopes and aspirations of the Sudanese street.

– The current crisis in Sudan is a direct result of the October 25 coup, and its solution is linked to ending the coup d’etat and establishing a new constitutional framework, based on a transitional civilian authority that expresses democratic forces and a comprehensive process of justice that exposes crimes, does justice to the victims, holds violators accountable and ensures that they are not repeated again, security and military reform will remove the military institution from political action completely and lead to a single professional and professional army.

The Forces for Freedom and Change stressed that any credible political process must follow real measures to create the atmosphere, foremost of which is the protection of civilians throughout Sudan. Especially in Darfur and the war-affected areas, releasing all political detainees who are still inundated with the prisons of the coup authority, ending the state of emergency, and stopping all forms of violence against the peaceful popular movement.

– The Forces of Freedom and Change explained to the international envoys the efforts made among the revolution’s forces to unite the anti-coup forces and assured them that what unites these forces is greater than what divides them, and that they fully share the vision that works to end the coup d’etat and establish a civil and democratic state. And that the discrepancy in the mechanisms and methods of joint action is a secondary discrepancy that does not prejudice their joint political action, stressing that this step is important to reach the goals of the broad Sudanese street and occupies the forefront of the agenda of the work of the forces of freedom and change.

The Forces for Freedom and Change affirmed that the nature of the current conflict is between the camp of the putschists, which includes soldiers and civilians, and the democratic civil forces that express their position in the Sudanese street with its many living forces, and that it is not correct to characterize the current conflict as between civilians, therefore, any political process that goes beyond the correct description of the nature of the crisis will not succeed in finding solutions to it.

In conclusion, the international envoys expressed their understanding of the position of the Forces of Freedom and Change and the demands of the Sudanese street, and affirmed their support for the endeavors of the tripartite mechanism. And their readiness to provide any possible assistance that leads to the restoration of the civil and democratic path in Sudan, and that they will remain in constant communication with all parties to ensure the success of the political process.

In response to the aspirations of the Sudanese people and their clear and firm will to live in a homeland where the values of freedom, peace and justice prevail.

Sudan: Bachelet appalled by Darfur killings, warns against escalation (27.04.2022)

Bachelet called on the authorities to take immediate action to protect the population and assist the wounded and displaced.

GENEVA, Switzerland, April 27, 2022 – UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet on Wednesday called on the Sudanese authorities to protect the population of West Darfur and take urgent steps to prevent further outbreaks of communal violence after more than a hundred people were killed in attacks by armed assailants between 22 and 24 April.

“I am appalled by reports that at least 159 people were killed in Kerenik on 22 and 24 April, 107 injured and thousands displaced from their homes, and at least five villages in the region were also attacked,” she said. “I am concerned that this region continues to see repeated, serious incidents of intercommunal violence, with mass casualties.  While initial measures taken by the authorities to calm tensions are welcome, I urge the authorities to address the underlying causes of violence in this region and fulfil their responsibility to protect the population.”

More than 1,000 armed members of the Arab Rzeigat community attacked Kerenik town on 22 April following the killing of two Rzeigat men by unknown perpetrators. At least eight men belonging to the African Masalit tribe and seven Arab men were killed in the attack and at least 17 people from the Masalit community were injured, including one woman and three children.

Joint security forces were deployed to Kerenik on 23 April but reportedly retreated in the face of another large-scale attack by Rzeigat assailants on 24 April, during which they took control of the town for several hours, looted and torched hundreds of shops and houses and opened fire on public buildings where many had sought shelter, including a hospital and a police station. At least 151 people were killed, including at least 27 women and 17 children, and more than 90 injured. Three people were reportedly killed inside the hospital, including two medical workers. The violence also spread to El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur.

Bachelet called on the authorities to take immediate action to protect the population and assist the wounded and displaced. “I urge the authorities to ensure that the many people injured in Kerenik, who have still not received medical care, are quickly and safely evacuated to hospitals, and to facilitate humanitarian assistance for the displaced.”

“I call on the Sudanese authorities to conduct prompt, thorough, impartial and independent investigations into these attacks and hold all those responsible to account in accordance with international human rights law. The victims and their families have a right to effective remedies.”

I also urge them to accelerate the long-delayed implementation of the security measures set out in the Juba Peace Agreement which stipulated the establishment of a joint security-keeping force to protect civilians in Darfur, and to implement the National Action Plan for the Protection of Civilians.”

The human rights situation in Sudan has continued to deteriorate since the military coup of 25 October 2021.   The High Commissioner urges the Sudanese authorities to take credible steps to create an environment conducive to an inclusive political settlement that would put the democratic transition back on track. To this end, the High Commissioner supports the continued facilitation efforts of the UN-AU-IGAD tripartite mechanism.

Sudan: Darfur Women Action Group (DWAG) – West Darfur Faces Another Deadly Attack (25.04.2022).

Darfur Women Action Group (DWAG) is gravely concerned by the alarming level of violence in West Darfur. The attack on Kerrinek, West Darfur, began on Thursday, April 21, and has continued since. This has resulted in at least 201 casualties, 98 injured, most of whom are women and children, and an unspeakable amount of destruction. This has been one of the deadliest and most destructive attacks that innocent civilians in West Darfur have experienced in the last few years and is a new wave of genocidal violence that is being conducted systematically with impunity.

The attack started on Thursday, April 21, with the killing of two people by an unknown assailant around Kerrinek. On the following day, hundreds of armed Arab militiamen encircled Kereneik and began opening fire and going home to home and killing civilians. Credible sources and eyewitnesses on the ground have confirmed that the Janjaweed and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) were responsible for orchestrating these latest attacks. The violence has spread to El Geneina, as shootings erupted outside the main hospital, causing mass fear among residents. In addition, it was reported on Monday morning that militiamen have been terrorizing and preventing civilians from burying dead bodies at the cemetery in El Geneina. The military leader, General al-Burhan, deployed soldiers to Darfur to contain the attacks, however, witnesses have reported that the security forces have acted with little resistance to prevent or contain the violence.

This latest violent incident is eerily reminiscent of the violence that took place from January through April of 2021 in and around El Geneina, West Darfur, after the withdrawal of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID). The withdrawal of the peacekeeping force in Darfur means there are no civilian protection mechanisms in the region, leaving a security vacuum that makes people more vulnerable to violent attacks and with nowhere to turn for protection. Moreover, the October 25th military coup has further emboldened and energized the Janjaweed and RSF to escalate attacks in Darfur because they know they may commit these attacks without repercussions. The attacks across Darfur have inflicted unimaginable suffering and are a horrifying reminder of the millions of civilians in the region that remain vulnerable. Additionally, DWAG has received credible information that the RSF is mobilizing to escalate its attacks across Darfur. We fear that those who have survived will now be exterminated while the world is watching.

DWAG is especially concerned about the humanitarian crisis this has created, as the Darfur Bar Association stated that approximately 20,000 people had been displaced by the violence. This is on top of the soaring levels of displacement from the first two weeks of March following the violent attacks in other areas of West Darfur, in which more than 150,000 families were displaced. The increase in displacement demonstrates how the situation on the ground continues deteriorating and affecting those most vulnerable. Today the situation in West Darfur is extremely catastrophic, with unimaginable loss of lives and humanitarian crises inflicting unbearable pain and suffering on innocent men, women, and children. We fear that as violence continues to escalate, it will cause even higher levels of displacement and suffering for the people of Darfur. These attacks are systematic and directed toward civilians from the indigenous African tribes who were targeted during the genocidal campaign orchestrated by al-Bashir, which is still ongoing despite his ouster in 2019.

DWAG is further concerned about the news of the release of 13 former members of the National Congress Party (NCP) and Islamic fundamentalists, who were arrested in 2019 along with former President al-Bashir. This is alarming as, following their release, a coalition of ten Islamic political parties was formed. Among these ten Islamic political parties is the NCP, allowing the NCP to participate in future elections and bring back the genocidal and dictatorial era.

DWAG calls on President Biden to publicly denounce the escalated violence in Darfur and urges him to put pressure on Sudan to immediately end these attacks. We further call upon the international community to put pressure on the Sudanese military junta and assert that violence against civilians will not be tolerated. DWAG also urges the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to authorize a United Nations force to protect civilians in Darfur. The United Nations Security Council must also immediately dispatch high-level Security Council delegates to investigate the situation and summon the military junta leaders before the Council for escalating this violence. The United Nations Security Council and the United States must demand unimpeded access to humanitarian agencies to aid in order to deliver emergency health and other life-saving assistance to those in need. Immediate action must be immediately taken in order to stop violence against innocent civilians before it is too late.

Since the October 25th coup, violence has escalated and hundreds have lost their lives, but world leaders have largely overlooked the situation in Sudan. Because of the silence and complicity of our leaders, the military in Sudan will continue to exterminate more civilians. We urge our supporters to join us in demanding President Biden and the United Nations Security Council members to publicly denounce the attack in West Darfur, disarm the Janjaweed and RSF, and ensure that those displaced are protected and provided with life-saving assistance.

We must collectively speak up and compel world leaders to act before it’s too late.

Sudan: The Statement of Revolutionaries Committee of West Darfur State – About the complete profanity of Karinak locality (24.04.2022)

The government’s failure to protect citizens

In continuation of the previous attacks on Karinak locality, the Janjaweed and Rapid Support militias (RSF) Sudan launched a sweeping attack from all directions on Sunday morning, April 24 2022 on the citizens of Karinak locality in West Darfur state after Withdrawal of the armed forces and the central reserve from their positions to make way for the Janjaweed militias and rapid support to invade the locality and kill innocents, defenceless citizens.

We also stressed in our previous statement that these continuing attacks, their causes are known to all, and come within the policies of scorched earth and population displacement.

The originals as a natural extension of the state’s policies in changing the African identity and plundering the state’s resources and wealth, around which the rapid support and the so-called movements of the “Juba Agreement” with the state of Russia were agreed upon by by Russian exploration and mining companies.

We assure the Sudanese people that the attacks by the Janjaweed militias (RSF) Last Friday, it was led by three Rapid Support Officers who were killed in that attack. They are

1/Hassan Bekkay/Rapid Support Major

2/ Moses Gawain/Rapid Support Captain

3/ Jumaa Juweed / First Lieutenant Rapid Support

And the current ongoing atrocities is also led by rapid support equipment.

In the meantime, the West Counties Revolutionaries bloc confirms the following:

1/ All the repeated attacks and attacks launched by these militias in separate areas in West Darfur state, with the planning and leadership of the Rapid Support Militia and the Janjaweed militias, which are originally under the Rapid Support Administration to implement their cruel policies.

2/ Today’s attack continues until the moment of writing this statement by the Janjaweed or Rapid Support Forces. The highway is coming from Furbaranga, Umm Dukhun, Wassouf, Omar and Kabkabiya, with no less than 300 Land Cruisers, as well as motorcycles, horses and camels, after a government monitoring plane flew yesterday in the skies of Karinak and the surrounding areas, with the aim of providing the Janjaweed with military information to target the popular resistance.

3/ We assure the Sudanese people that the planes that were sent are not for the purpose of protecting the citizens, but rather to explore the area and provide the Rapid Support militias or Janjaweed with intelligence information against the citizens. Otherwise, why not use force against the aggressor militias and completely disappear on the days when there are attacks.

4/ What do we assure the #Sudanese people who is still waiting for protection from this government that works in favor of #Russia to control the joints of the state by means of the rapid support militias and the Juba peace movements that receive money and power, including the so-called Khamis Abdullah Rabiba Janjaweed, that they are reconsidering their thinking about setting up new mechanisms to protect civilians *through* International *through* International community intervention.

5 / Karinak locality was stormed from all directions and all of its citizens’ wealth was profaned and a large number of defenseless innocent women, children, the elderly and the elderly were killed in front of the eyes of the government, which was stationed in the army command and writes reports of aggression to submit at the end of the day to the so-called Janjaweed militia leader Hamdan Daglo

6/There are movements inside the El Geneina locality by the Janjaweed and Rapid Support militias by transferring weapons and ammunition to the Karinak locality in front of the government’s eyes, and there is a possibility of storming El Geneina locality according to the movements of the Rapid Support and Janjaweed militias

7/ An urgent appeal to the international community to save the lives of innocent and defenseless civilians that the state government and the center were unable to protect, but rather an effective contribution to destroying the lives of but rather an effective contribution to destroying the lives of civilians in Karinak locality.

Sudan: Forces of Freedom and Change – Executive Office – Important Statement (18.04.2022)

Yes to the political solution that fulfills the demands of the revolution.

Nor to legitimize the coup.

The Executive Office of the Forces of Freedom and Change held an emergency meeting yesterday evening, Sunday, April 17, 2022 AD, In it, he discussed in detail the invitation submitted by the joint mechanism of the United Nations, the African Union and the IGAD to hold a preparatory meeting that would lay the foundations for the political process. The meeting reached the following:

The position of the forces of freedom and change on the political solution is a principled and strategic position. We do not reject the political solution..but what solution do we want?

– The political solution we want is the one that fulfills the demands of the revolution to end the coup of October 25, 2021 AD and establish full civil authority, and opens the way for the completion of the national building process that fulfills the demands of the masses in justice, peace, democracy and sustainable development, we realize that the process of national building does not take place overnight, but it is necessary to lay a sound foundation that guides us towards achieving these goals that our people sought towards in three great revolutions.

We are categorically against the intervention of the people’s armed forces in politics and against military coups, and the solution we seek is based on the principle of a single professional army that reflects Sudanese diversity, ends the plurality of armies, and fixes the military and security sector, and in that lies the interest of Sudan and the armed forces and other regular forces.

– We affirm that we interact positively with the joint mechanism of the United Nations, the African Union and IGAD, and that its main task is to turn the page on the coup and establish civil authority, and we seek to work together to achieve this.

Our position on the joint mechanism’s invitation to the preparatory meeting:

The invitation of the joint mechanism for the preparatory meeting this week received a deep discussion from the executive office, and the office decided to reject the form and content of the preparatory meeting and to respond in writing to the joint mechanism, and demand that it take the following issues into account before beginning the preparation for a political process:

1- Climate action measures:

A / the full commitment of the revolutionary authority to stop violence against the mass movement and to return all the powers that authorize the regular forces to use violence on his head, the use of live bullets to the Public Prosecutor and the judiciary.

B / The release of all political detainees from the forces of the revolution, led by the resistance committees, leaders of freedom and change, and the committee to dismantle the regime of the thirtieth of June, and the recovery of public funds.

C / cancel the state of emergency.

2- The identification of the parties to the constitutional crisis must accurately reflect the nature of the crisis and the current alignment, and the parties to the crisis are the forces of resistance that support the process of civil democratic transformation and that confronted the coup of October 25, 2021 on the one hand, and the forces supporting the coup against the process of civil democratic transformation on the other hand.

3- Talking about the civil front’s consensus, which puts the opponents of the coup and its supporters on the same list, is an old and new attempt to form an incubator that supports the coup, to be under the control of the revolutionaries and to marginalize the forces of the real revolution, especially freedom and change, and to bless this new incubator, who is being chosen in a public auction these days and is talked about by the media, and all this is to pave the way for the holding of sham elections similar to the elections of the Bashir regime, especially since the Bashir regime has already returned.

4- The forces of freedom and change will send a detailed message to the joint mechanism announcing its demands and proposals for a political solution that the honorable martyrs deserve before the living resistance heroes, and opens the way for the establishment of a civil and democratic authority that our people well deserve.

Our commitment to adopting peaceful anti-coup tools means dealing with any political process – achieving the end of the coup and all its consequences and establishing a full civil authority – as one of the tested mechanisms in internal, regional and international conflicts, without compromising any of the demands of the revolution, rather, it is a choice whose reasons lie in the fact that it is the most efficient and least expensive mechanism.

The real entrance to the liquidation of the revolution is the planting of strife and disagreements among its ranks and forces, and attempts of treason and counter-treason, which is an abomination from the work of its enemies, and the confiscation and monopoly of the revolution according to a narrow intellectual or political perspective It does not accommodate the unity of all its forces. It also serves the forces of the counter-revolution and seeks to break up the forces of the revolution. Victory is tied to the cornerstones of our unity without outbidding or negligence.

Long live our people free and victorious

Sudan: Khartoum City Resistance Committees Coordination – The Military’s Cooperation with Former Regime Affiliates, the Islamic Movement and the Dissolved National Congress (17.04.2022)

We will trample every koz

Our people struggling for freedom:

Throughout the transition period, we followed the military’s cooperation with former regime affiliates, the Islamic movement and the dissolved National Congress, as well as their leniency with them to pressure civilians, the transitional government, and resistance committees through what was called (the green marches), and their cooperation with them following the coup indicates clear cooperation and alliance between the disbanded party and the coup authority by restoring all those who were removed from state offices and giving them back the money and real estate, all in order to attack the revolution and change. Here, we send the following messages to affiliates of the Salvation System, the defunct Islamic Movement, and the dissolved National Congress:

1. The price of your downfall has been the lives of Sudanese people all around the country since 1989. They were martyred by torture, murder, conflicts, and wars, as well as through sanctioning justice and judicial institutions, dismissal and forced retirement, and empowering your affiliates. The logic of freedom, peace, and justice is to never return, and we will harass you with chanting, media, and legal pursuits, and expose all of your corruption and complicity in the neighborhoods with the security and military services in working as informants for the coup authority, and we have lists of your names that we will reveal later.

2. We have been monitoring your plans to attack peaceful processions, terrorize the relatives of certain arbitrarily detained revolutionaries from resistance committees and political detainees and send threats to them via social media sites and phone calls from unknown numbers in order to silence them from demanding their release. In this regard, we would like to draw your attention to the following:

This coup authority will inevitably fall sooner or later, but all of your past and new activities will be used against you as proof and evidence, and you will pay the price fully and swiftly.

Your claim is that the solution is in the elections. This is a discourse that you do not have the ability to defend, and that will only happen with the fall of this coup and the dismantling of the defunct June 30, 1989 regime.

We follow and monitor your movements within government and public institutions, as well as your plans to retaliate against the honorable employees who supported the revolution and change. These moves will be met with a very strong and decisive response, which you will learn about in due course.

3. We will continue in all our peaceful steps and you will have no place to be. You should know that we are monitoring all documents and records that incriminate employees of the dissolved National Congress regime in security and military agencies and government departments following the October 25 coup, as well as their security plans to suppress peaceful revolutionaries and sniping operations, w ith the names of the joint forces, particularly police officers and soldiers, the Central Reserve, the Federal Investigation Service, and General Intelligence, who commit acts of violence, killing, and shooting, we warn you that you will soon be in the cages of the courts alongside the killers of the honorable December Revolution martyrs, and that we will not only have retribution, but that the trials will be accelerated immediately.

Sudan: Sudanese Communist Party – Public Statement (16.04.2022)

No to the settlement aimed at liquidating the revolution.

The widest mass rise to stop the settlement and continue the revolution.

The forces of soft landing and their allies from the Security Committee and some are still the regional and international powers are continuing their plans that aim to block the path to the revolution and ultimately liquidate it, and it is a continuation of old plans that emerged in the last days of the ousted Bashir regime, within the framework of what was known as the Al-Wathba Dialogue, in which the forces of soft landing participated. Who agreed to participate in the 2020 elections, but was surprised by the outbreak of the revolution in December 2018.

She was forced to join the revolution and sign its covenants, but she repudiated these pacts early on, when she signed the partnership with the Transitional Military Council under the constitutional document that established the hegemony of the military. On the joints of power and participated in the government of Abdullah Hamdok, and agreed to be a false civilian front for the rule of the military.

After the October 25 coup, these forces continued to cooperate with the military, and some of them agreed to refer to the constitutional document and the situation prior to October 25 based on the political agreement. The agreement between Al-Burhan and Hamdok on November 21, 2021, which was rejected by the Sudanese people.

After the coup, it continued to seek the assistance of regional and international powers to help it return to partnership with the military, and these understandings resulted in efforts for a settlement that is now being cooked up behind the back of the Sudanese people.

The features of the settlement that leaked revolve around what was suggested from the Cairo meeting of the federalist origin with the federalists who were participants in the rescue regime, and what the Communist Party delegation heard from the tripartite mechanism composed of the United Nations mission led by Mr. Fockler and the African Union led by Dalbat and the head of the IGAD mission, Ambassador Ismail Wais, focused on the purpose of the meeting that brings together all political forces without exception, and that the aim of this meeting is to reach a national consensus to discuss constitutional arrangements, define criteria for choosing the prime minister and government and hold elections.

Defining the duties of the Sovereignty Council and the military, and developments in the past two days confirmed that the arrangements for the settlement have gone a long way, with evidence that one of the requirements that came up in the meeting of the mechanism is to prepare the political climate for the upcoming meeting, and it was mentioned in the last speech of Lieutenant-General Al-Burhan which emphasized preparing the atmosphere for settlement, and came in the press conference of the Forces for Freedom and Change, which confirmed the same hadith of proof to create the atmosphere that does not meet the demands of the street and the revolution.

What links the forces of soft landing and the military component are the class and economic interests represented in plundering the country’s wealth, as is happening now through smuggling gold, gum arabic, livestock, etc…. and compromising national sovereignty by perpetuating dependence on the outside, which depends on it for its survival in power.

The settlement allows for elections to be held under the circumstances of the domination of the military and their civilian allies over the joints of state institutions. With the help of regional and international external powers that are betting on the military establishment and the forces of soft landing to take care of their interests, so these forces plan to hold these elections to allow them to return to positions of power, so it is certain that large-scale fraud will occur in the presence of armies and tribal militias it includes huge numbers of foreigners, who obtained the national number and Sudanese citizenship and occupied the lands of the displaced and refugees. This is on the one hand, and on the other hand, the Juba Agreement, rejected by the masses, states that the armies of the movements that signed the agreement are entitled to retain with its arms for a period of 40 months from the date of signing, the forces that will be under the command of the leaders of the armed movements.

As stated by the joint mechanism, no organization or political party has the right to object to the participation of all political forces and organizations.

The Communist Party clearly refuses the participation of parties and parties rejected by the Sudanese people and revolted against them, including the National Congress and those who participated with it until the outbreak of the revolution, and also rejects the lack of clear and explicit criteria that define the nature and programs of these forces hostile to the goals of the revolution and international conventions, in addition to the issues contained in the program of the mechanism Common issues are at the core of the Constitutional Convention’s mission.

In addition, the settlement program is devoid of any reference to the necessity of applying justice, stopping violations, and bringing to justice those involved in the genocide in Darfur and crimes against humanity, as in the massacre of the sit-in dispersal, the massacres after the October 25 coup and the dismantling of empowerment, recovery of looted funds, dissolution of militias, Janjaweed, and armies of movements, establishment of a unified national army, incorporation of army, Janjaweed, security and police companies to the mandate of the Ministry of Finance and other tasks of the transitional period at the end of which free and fair elections are held.

The initiative of the mechanism also lacks the required credibility when it indicated that those gathered in the upcoming meeting are the ones who will resolve the outstanding issues related to the current political crisis, as they are not authorized by the people and cannot claim that they are the true representatives of the people.

We in the party affirm that the proposed settlement will exacerbate the complexities of the crisis in the country.
