Sudan: Sudanese Congress Party – A statement about the rise of a martyr as a result of the coup authority’s suppression of today’s processions on the anniversary of the massacre of the sit-ins (03.06.2022)

Our resistant people;

The same treacherous hand is still pressing the trigger of the killing machine and the systematic repression against the peaceful revolutionaries, under the orders of the revolutionaries, the opportunists, and the remnants of the former regime.

In today’s roaring processions in the capital and the provinces, in commemoration of the martyrs of the valiant sit-in dispersal massacre, the martyr Ahmed Abdullah Ahmad rose past the path of hundreds of his honorable martyr comrades, leaving a lump in the throat of all the honorable and our duty to pay with the inevitable overthrow of the coup and the completion of the process of civil democratic transformation under the leadership of a purely civil authority, leading to the state of justice in which the provisions of the law perpetuate the perpetrators of all crimes and violations against Sudanese and Sudanese in all parts of the wounded country, and dozens of wounded people have also fallen in today’s processions. We pray for them to recover quickly.

Our people are bridges;

The path of freedom, peace and justice is rugged and fraught with great sacrifices, and we in the Sudanese Congress Party are determined, with our people and their revolutionary forces lined up in the broad resistance front, not to retreat from the era of the martyrs, and that there is no way to salvation except by our unity behind the same noble goals for which blood, tears and pure sweat were shed.

It is the duty of the hour to work to escalate our peaceful resistance movement in all parts of Sudan with diversification of its tried and innovative tools, with the need to agree on a unified leadership that works to bring about the required field, media and political coordination.

Long live our people free and victorious

Sudan: Al-Bashir’s henchmen continues the crackdown on the civilians supporting the revolution

GIS vehicles in Bahri out to intimidate people

Today is the 3rd Year Anniversary of the massacre and violent attack on Khartoum Sit-Down Protest in front of the military headquarters. In 2019 the civilians and the people of the revolution was met with a fierce striking force, which has ended in officially killing 120 people and injuring over 900 people. There was findings of hidden mass-graves as well after this and promises of investigations into the people behind it. However, there has been no results of this and the Transitional Sovereign Council haven’t done anything about it.

Today’s Sovereign Council is in general the military commanders of the Al-Bashir era who don’t want to give up power. That’s why they have done two coup d’etat’s and blocked a possible move to a civilian government. The technocrats who was able to get a foot in was later kicked out in the second coup. Therefore, the transformation of it now is fully operative with people who signs of and works indirectly with the forces who took over first in the post Al-Bashir.

This is the military commanders who was sponsoring genocide in Darfur and who had no trouble using force to keep the Al-Bashir dictatorship alive. The same folks are now again in talks with stakeholders and foreign entities to finalize the stalemate. However, the revolutionary organizations, the resistance councils and others don’t believe in this dialogue. Why should they?

There was similar after Al-Bashir, which the Sudanese Professional Association (SPA) and Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) signed off on and agreed upon on the first Transitional Sovereign Council. The second coup dismissed these and the talks now would be to revive the shockingly abysmal agreement of the past. That would be to give headway to another brother like Hamdok and get him to be “civilian” figurehead of an unelected junta government.

The UN Special Envoys and Representatives like Adama Dieng and Volker Perthes can do anything in good faith. However, the two who is head of the Sovereign Council isn’t trustworthy fellows. They have already betrayed and tried to hijack the revolution, which is still being fought over on the streets. Both Al-Burhan and Hamdan Dagalo “Hemeti” who both isn’t concerned about the people on the streets. They rather seems to use violence, get rid of them and stop them in their tracks. It’s like they don’t understand or isn’t willing to see their vision. That’s because the they would loose power following it.

The UN organizations and troika involved in the dialogue now should know that the talks without several of parties undermine the legitimacy. In combination of the Resistance Councils and others who don’t believe in it.

Why should they? Because, the ones in power are the henchmen of Al-Bashir. Their actions and the coup d’etat’s only shows how they are willing to consolidate power. There is nothing new under the sun and these men will use all strategies to overcome this revolution. However, the Sudanese people are resilient and unforgiving. They are fighting to have a say and the military commanders cannot contain it forever.

Sooner or later, something got to give and they got too. Because, the people are on the streets and marching for a civilian and representative government of their own. Not a military one, which is operating to this day. Peace.

Sudan: South Khartoum & Al Kalakla Resistance Committees Coordination – Press Release (29.05.2022)

The military coup forces were not content with their abuses and repression of the honorable revolutionaries. They were not content with torturing and killing all those who protested their crimes, resisted their power, and calling for their downfall through the usual peacefulness of our revolution.

The forces of the military coup are committed to make our people’s life a living hell. This morning, they arrested a Kandaka and her whole family from their house and transported her to Al-Kalakla Police Department without charging her with a crime, rejecting bail and refusing to work with her lawyers to secure her release.

We denounce the approach employed by the coup forces and reject their behavior against the Kandaka and her noble family.

We hold these forces fully accountable for the detainees’ safety and demand their immediate release if no charges are brought against them.

In the name of the rebellious and steadfast Sudanese people, we pray for God’s mercy to be bestowed upon the souls of the honorable martyrs, and we also send our sincere prayers to the injured for a speedy recovery.

Today, Al-Kalakla revolutionaries marched in procession, announcing a revolutionary escalation against the coup. They fulfilled their promise by filling the streets with chants.

As usual, the processions were met with extreme violence by the forces of the coup military authority, using a variety of weapons against the peaceful processions, including live bullets, shotgun shells, and tear gas grenades against the peaceful protesters, resulting in a large number of casualties among Al-Kalakla revolutionaries, some of whom were serious and in an unstable condition, leading to the death of two martyrs:

The martyr Alaa Al Din Adil, Live bullet shot to the chest.

The martyr Izz Al Din Al Noor, suffocation from tear gas.

They were killed by the same individuals who never ceased shedding the blood of the Sudanese in order to maintain power and protect the interests of the dark forces.

We call on all comrades in the resistance committees and the forces rejecting the coup to intensify their efforts and reach the peak of the resistance and revolutionary action that leads to the overthrow of the coup in the coming period by regularly taking to the streets and working to ensure the success of the strikes and vigils.

Sudan: Forces of Freedom and Change – Executive Office – Statement on the escalation of the coup d’état’s violence and the threat to the country’s food security (25.05.2022)

Yesterday, the escalating violence campaigns of the coup authority continued against the defenseless of the revolutionaries of our people, causing dozens of casualties in Berri, before the blood of the martyr Muhammad Khalis, who fell in Omdurman by the bullets of the security and military forces of this revolutionary authority, dries up, let this pure blood be written with an ink of light that the revolution of our people will remain and that violence in confronting it will only increase its determination and adherence to peace as a noble weapon in the face of the forces of oppression and darkness.

This violence proves what we have been repeating in the forces of freedom and change that calls to engage in the political process now contradict the facts on the ground, which prove that the coup authority is determined to walk in the blood of our people without hesitation in order to monopolize an illegitimate authority among this people. In view of this, we in the Forces of Freedom and Change call for (to open an international investigation into the incidents of violence in different parts of the country, to ensure that the facts are revealed and to hold the perpetrators of these crimes accountable in an open and transparent manner).

On the other hand, at a time when the repercussions of the Russian invasion of Ukraine threaten global food security, and in light of a terrible decline in the reserves of wheat and food grains in the world, which threatens our African continent in general and our country in particular, and at the same time, the coup authority is refraining from providing resources to buy the local wheat crop, which has suffered from the repercussions of the coup to reduce its production to less than half of what was produced last year under the transitional civilian rule, the coup authority’s refusal to buy local wheat despite the doubling of its global prices, throwing farmers to death as they are unable to pay their obligations and contribute to the failure of the agricultural season next year, and it threatens the food security of the country, which has reliable reports that nearly half of its population is under the threat of severe food shortage and famine and its increasing indicators before the end of this year, and due to this neglect, locally produced crops began to find their way outside the country, unlike the rest of the world, which is now building food reserves and working to secure its position, and prevent the leakage of its crops in anticipation of the food disaster that the world is going through.

This coup is an imminent danger that affects all the daughters and sons of our people, and its resistance and defeat is an individual duty that must not be retracted an inch. The future is worse, and if we do not gather our unity and strength and confront it firmly and decisively, the cost will become more expensive day after day, and our people will pay it from their lives, security, strength and safety.

Sudan: The Unified Office of Doctors – Statement on Events of 21st of May at Omdurman City, and the Excessive Violence Against Peaceful Protesters (23.05.2022)

Omdurman Protests were subjected to Siege similar to that of the Sit-in at the Army Command Headquarters on June 3, 2019. The security forces completely cordoned off the demonstration area and embarked upon practicing deadly violence against the peaceful protesters. Cartridge weapon was used; in addition to live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas bombs, even inside ambulances. This excessive violence resulted in death of one demonstrator due to shotgun, and dozens of injuries

The Siege resulted in the delay of some casualties reaching hospitals all morning and day, putting the lives of the injured at risk. Depriving the injured of treatment is a criminal offense according to both national and international norms and laws.

The Unified Doctors Office strongly condemns this violence directed against innocent citizens.

We call upon Human Rights Organisations and organisations working in the field of Health Emergencies to help provide legal and medical assistance to stop State violence and save the lives of the injured.
