Sudan: Forces of Freedom and Change – Important Statement (16.07.2022)

Since the past hours, several cities in the state of Blue Nile have witnessed unfortunate incidents of violence that claimed the lives of dozens of innocent citizens, between dead and wounded. We ask God to accept them and speed up the recovery of the wounded and injured. These events are only the result of the coup fire, which threatens all of the country’s lands in its territorial integrity and social fabric.

The Executive Office of Freedom and Change forces is following these events with great concern, and appeals to all citizens to exercise restraint and to miss the opportunity for those preoccupied with the country’s security and unity, it also calls for upholding the values of tolerance among the social components that have coexisted since time immemorial in the Blue Nile and other states of the country.

We also renew our strong rejection of all forms of tribal and regional mobilization, which we heard a few days before the coup, and which is based on hatred and hostility to the other, it is the approach of the putschists, which has now manifested itself in the state of the Blue Nile, and will lead to fueling grudges and bitterness in a way that will result in increasing tensions and tensions and igniting a civil war in the outskirts and middle of the country.

The received reports indicate that the state of fighting between citizens continued until noon today, Saturday, July 16, 2022, which has so far left more than 31 martyrs and no less than forty wounded in preliminary statistics, in addition to the burning of markets and waste of property in a way that foretells of a civil war that will not remain.

The police and other regular forces continue to lose their prestige and confidence among the citizens in all parts of the country, as they constituted a complete absence from the areas of the events, and a delay in responding to the previous calls of the citizens in the region to move ahead to maintain security, its role has changed from maintaining security to hunting down defenseless and peaceful revolutionaries.

The Executive Office of the Forces of Freedom and Change condemns acts of violence, whatever their source, and holds the coup authority fully responsible for the successive renewal of these events in most parts of the country.

He stresses that these deteriorating security conditions are an inevitable result of the failure of the coup authority to provide security and safety for citizens and impose the prestige of the state, and that there is no choice but to address these dire conditions except by overthrowing the coup, and the establishment of the authority of freedom, peace and justice, which respects human dignity, safeguards his rights and fulfills his hopes and aspirations.

He appeals to all our people in the Blue Nile region to work to stop this damned sedition and miss the opportunity for those who take advantage of these events to justify their continued rule, even on the ruins of the wounded homeland.

The coup is defeated and our people are victorious

Sudan: Khartoum State Resistance Committees Coordination – #July17March (16.07.2022)

The struggling people of Sudan:

Since we revolted against oppression and humiliation in December 2018, we have been moving resolutely towards one goal; we have strived and paid for this endeavor with the lives of our martyred brothers who sacrificed themselves for the principles and goals of this glorious revolution.

We are already tired, but we are on the road of no return; Either we continue our struggle and fulfill our aspirations, or we cede power to those who will resemble their masters in the use of terrorism, murder, and torture. Then remorse will be of no use when we all gather in the cells of the coup, if we abandon our revolution and the blood of our martyrs.

Comrades in the Resistance Committees and the active forces of the revolution:

Now is the time to unite our ranks and chants in order to achieve our desired goal, which is the civil and democratic state. In order to achieve that, we will march on the seventeenth of July in the streets that do not betray towards the realization of our dream, which we will not abandon no matter how hard our enemies try to dissuade us.

Tracks & destination will be published later.

Salute of Struggle and Steadfastness

We have all witnessed the deterioration of the health condition of the revolutionary Seif al-Islam, son of Al Sahafa, who has been incarcerated in the cells of the putschists in Omdurman for over two months and due to the continuous torture, most of his senses were impaired, and he suffered frequent convulsions, fainting and inability to stand up. As usual, the regular authorities are colluding and refusing to release him or bring him to trial despite his deteriorating health.

We and our brothers and sisters in detention are well aware of the atrocities committed by the putschists to intimidate and abuse the revolutionaries, it did not succeed with their predecessors, and will not succeed now. And our heroes continue to write a new epic every day in the face of the aggressor, the coup regime and its corrupt justice departments, and we reiterate; no retreat or surrender.

We command them to immediately release all detainees and dismiss all malicious reports. Whether they do or not, there is no doubt that the storm will soon hit their cells, destroy their fortresses, and liberate our steadfast, free comrades.

Sudan: Sudanese Congress Party – Press Statement (14.07.2022)

We looked at the recording circulating in the public space to address the coup leader, Lieutenant General Al-Burhan, to a gathering of attendees at a social event held in one of the regions of River Nile State during the days of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, which slipped into the furnace of incitement and spreading the poison of discrimination. The societal fabric was violated in unambiguous terms that represent an extension of the toxic, easy discourse currently being used by the coup d’état, the opportunists and the remnants of the former regime, in the context of their frantic quest to create a social incubator for their weak authority through the use of the tribe and the ethnic and racial background.

As a last resort to break the collar of isolation that struck them from every side, and it is a dangerous path, because besides turning back the hateful primitive strife, it undermines one of the most important foundations of the modern state, which has the duty to stand at the same distance from every citizen and citizen, regardless of his faith, his social or economic status, or his ethnic and tribal origins, which proves his inability to lead any of the state institutions that have a duty to express everyone.

Besides that it is rejected in form and content, it shows the extent of the deterioration caused by the policies of the former regime, foremost of which is the distortions that afflicted one of the most important state institutions represented in the armed forces of our people, whose leadership was not worthy of that honor, in order for them to commit the crime of recruiting and kidnapping them for the benefit of their own gains and their economic and political interests, which necessitates the end of the coup as soon as possible so that we can launch the necessary and urgent reform processes in the security and military sector, foremost of which is structuring and reforming the people’s armed forces and reformulating their doctrine, and framing its relationship with power, wealth and society to reflect its brilliant diversity and become a national formation, to carry out its inherent duty to protect the constitution and ensure the security of the nation’s borders, and all citizens and citizens without discrimination.

Sudan: Old Omdurman Resistance Committees Coordination – Lifting of Old Omdurman Sit-in (11.07.2022)

Our victorious people:

We begin by congratulating our great people on the blessed Eid al-Adha; may God bring it back to our nation while it is under democratic civil rule and in a free and just homeland where we do not hear the sound of the gun.

This Eid arrives as all of our people are engaged in the battle of resistance against the military rule, and we offer each day a martyr to become one of the stars of freedom in the sky of our country. This is the battle in which our people employed a variety of tried and true methods of peaceful resistance, starting with processions and barricades and concluding with sit-ins in all the cities of Khartoum State after the great 30th of June march. Our sit-ins symbolized the reclaiming of the land and its liberation from the military, as the soldiers retreated in defeat before an unarmed people chanting for freedom, justice, and peace.

Our resistant people:

The sit-in in old Omdurman, extending from Al-Azhari Square to Wad Oro Stop, has accomplished a step on the path of struggle and the ongoing revolution project; It provided a safe space for discussion among the various forces of the revolution, and we were able to create dialogues that strengthened the ties between all components of the forces of the revolution, which serves our sacred goal of uniting all forces of the revolution. And now we announce the lifting of Old Omdurman sit-in, so that the military coup authority realizes that the sit-ins are weapons directed at them, and we return to it while we are more organized, united, and powerful, carrying with us the accumulation of revolutionary experience in the resistance and the lessons of the experience of these sit-ins politically and on the ground, until the day we permanently end the coup and overthrow its authority and restore the path of civil democratic transformation. We thank the residents and people of the neighborhoods around the sit-in, as well as the Sudanese who supported it.

Sudan: Khartoum City Resistance Committees Coordination – Lifting of Al Jawda Sit-in (08.07.2022)

Our brave and courageous people, we address you on this blessed day, the Day of Arafa, which will be followed by the first day of Eid Al-Adha, may God bring it back to our nation and our country while under total civil rule that puts an end to the bloody military coup in which over a hundred people were killed, thousands were injured, and hundreds were arrested. We crowned the sacrifices with the earthquake of the thirtieth of June, which shook the pillars of the coup regime to offer a fragile proposal comparable to what remained of the coup regime. June 30 march extended to cities sit-ins, continuing the growing mass revolutionary tide, through the tried and innovative peaceful revolutionary methods of our people. The sit-in was a dagger in the hearts of the enemies of the revolution, claiming of lands, roads and arenas to express the rejection of the regime. The sit-in served as a forum for revolutionary discussions, solidarity among revolutionary masses, and the exchange of revolutionary opinions on the future of the revolution and its challenges.

Aside from the negative impact on Al Jawda Hospital due to the location of the sit-in, and taking into consideration the the residents of Al-Dayum and the areas adjacent to the sit-in square and to facilitate the rituals of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, such as visitations, in addition to the decline of the decentralized revolutionary movement from various neighborhoods to a centralized and continuous form.

Therefore, we, the Khartoum City Resistance Committees Coordination, announce the lifting of Al Jawda Sit-in, and we are all confident that we will return to the weapon of the sit-ins, more organized, united, and stronger, having benefited from the experiences of the past and the practice of the present, and looking forward to the best political and field performance, toward achieving the freedom, peace, and justice aspirations of our honorable people.

Sudan: The Unified Office of Doctors – Statement – RE: Health condition of the detained protestor Saif El-Islam Esam El-Din Mohammed (07.07.2022)

The revolutionary Saif El-Islam Esam El-Din Mohammed is currently imprisoned by the coup authorities, while his health condition can only be described as critical.

Over the past couple of days Saif El-Islam has been transfered to a hospital in the Capital. Upon examination it was evident that his condition is unstable, requiring hospitalization and close monitoring.

Saif El-Islam was referred to a different hospital for laboratory testing and necessary imaging to confirm his diagnosis, and was to be returned to continue his care at the first hospital. Upon completion he was taken back to prison and never returned to his treating physician.

Regarding the health status of Saif El-Islam, we at the Unified Doctors office assert the following:

1- Imprisoning Saif El-Islam in his current health condition cannot be justified. He should immediately be transferred to a hospital to receive necessary care.

2- Saif El-Islam suffers from physical and psychological ailments requiring multidisciplinary, comprehensive medical care.

3- We hold the coup authorities responsible for his health condition, and we will work hand in hand with the Emergency Lawyers group as well as our other partners to shed light on all violations against this revolutionary.

Sudan: Khartoum City Resistance Committees Coordination – As The Revolution Advances, The Coup General Maneuvers (04.07.2022)

The Sudanese revolution continues its valiant victories, for which it has paid in advance with pure blood and precious souls since its inception, to reassure the world that this nation is impervious to submission and defeat, and that this revolution will achieve its noble goalds regardless of who approves or disapproves. this demonstrated in the 30th of June’s massive mass movement, which culminated in sit-ins in cities despite the violence, repression, and violations leveled against the mass movement.

Our Resistant People:

The leader of the coup, Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, came out with his insistence on the false illusion that he is the guardian of the future of the Sudanese state, while he is unaware that the future of this country is drawn by the martyrs, the wounded, the missing, the raped, the detainees, the displaced, the refugees and the vast majority of Sudanese women and men who decided for this country the path of freedom, peace, justice and democratic civil transition.

The masses of the people of Sudan:

One of the greatest goals of this revolution is to restore respect to the Sudanese military institution, which the National Islamic Front tampered with to such an extent that it made this confused man one of its high-rank officers, and he does not deserve even the mere honor of being a soldier in it. The Sudanese armed forces are an institution that preserves, not dissipates, and protects, not threatens, and it is the obligation and responsibility of all honorable Sudanese to remove this brutal coup group and to reform this institution and create a united, professional national army that distance itself from political and commercial activities.

The revolutionaries:

Therefore, we, the Khartoum City Resistance Committees Coordination, say to coup leader Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan and his supporters that the path before you is clear, not for a Security and Defense Council or any other attempt to reposition in the future of the Sudanese state, but rather towards the gallows for the crimes you committed against this great nation.
