Opinion: Two writers into exile within a month [a sign of the lack of freedom of speech in the republic]

Kakwenza Rukirabashaija fled into exile today and his not the first dissident to do that in 2022. He is the second high profiled writer and activist to flee the Republic. Dr. Stella Nyanzi fled into safety in the end of January 2022 and it was official on the 31^st January 2022. It is only two weeks in between the fleeing of Kakwenza and Nyanzi.

So, it is clearly a pattern here. Dr. Nyanzi was for in exile in Kenya from end of January 2021 to April 2021. We don’t know how long Nyanzi will stay in Germany now, but this is the second time she says she’s in exile.

We are now seeing Kakwenza has crossed the border and without a passport, which is kept by the authorities, as the writer and activist wasn’t allowed to travel for medical treatment elsewhere. Today is really a worry as he has turned into a fugitive now.

This shows how limited the freedom of speech is and what the ones who dares to challenge regime has to do. The regime is clearly on a warpath and directly targeting the ones who writes, types or thinks outside the correct line. It is clear that there is only one man with a vision and the ones who doesn’t follow is endangering themselves.

That is why Kakwenza and Nyanzi had to flee. We know they have both written and stated on social media publicly what they feel about the regime leaders. They have written texts which humiliate and mocks the President and their family members. Since then they have been in legal jeopardy and been harshly treated by state security agencies.

It is not strange they both have fled and it is a sign of the times. As dissidents and honest actors in their writing they are getting barred, attacked and tried to be silenced by the state. This gives them all the reasons to flee or leave. Since, their voices are not heard and if so… it makes a court case or a torture case, which we have seen recently.

This just shows what the state does to the ones who doesn’t comply or follow the “guidance”. They have dared to write insulting words and been direct in their dissent of the regime. That has cost them a lot and they are also mocked. However, the state shows how limited the freedom is and what sort of liberty the state operates within.

They are just the proof of how limited and lackign ability to speak freely there is. These two are proof of the dictatorship and how the security agencies are working directly for the first family. As they are serving the avenging powers upon those who offend the Don or his Son. Therefore, everyone should know about this.

If your own citizens has to flee into exile to be able to speak their mind. You know the Republic is a heaven for the dictator and not for his subjects. Peace.

Opinion: Muhoozi is so obese, that his fat-ass stands in the way of rule of law

“Muhoozi has humongous hips and breasts. He’s obese. How can a soldier who went to genuine military training and exercises everyday have such a sedentary figure? God punishes the corrupt in a good way with a badge of stupid figure” (Kakwenza Rukira, 27.12.2021).

Today, the writer and critic Kakwenza Rukirabashaija were bound to be released on bonds after being captured, tortured and detained since 28^th December 2021. He was finally produced in court and was supposed to be later released. However, right after being released from Kitalya Prison and put on bond by the Buganda Road Courts. A vehicle with unmarked registered plate kidnapped the dissident and sent off.

Just like the plain-clothed invaders of his home on the 28^th December 2021. As they took him away and arrested him after writing the forementioned tweet. Clearly, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerubaga has a fat ass and that is standing in the way of rule of law. The obese mindset, which implicates everyone to bow down to his greatness and lack of heart. Since, everyone is bound by an unknown law to love the man and gentle massage his ego. Like the keyboard warriors of the NRM and the whole GCIC staff apparatus.

That is very clear, as anyone can be touched for calling a man obsess. Just like the state could arrest and go after Dr. Stella Nyanzi too. There is no bound and reasoning, only merciless betrayal of freedom of expression, which is limited and narrow. Unless you are one of them and are powerful. Then you can call people pigs, insects, vermin, or any sort of derogatory word in book. Heck, you can throw the book at them and use the whole spectrum of insults, which is what the father of the offend son does on the regular.

The kidnapping and re-arrest today only shows how fragile the over bloated ego of Muhoozi is. As he can use his power and rank to demolish his detractors. While we still can name-call his ass and be blunt. Muhoozi is a fragile and weak individual, who calls himself a general. A man who thinks of greatness and aspire for the highest office but isn’t fit to even stand up to a few whiny words on social media. That’s the sort of fella he is and its weak tea.

We are clearly seeing the fat-ass of Muhoozi is blocking the avenues of freedom of speech, as the writer and such wasn’t allowed to talk about the case or anything to the media. He was muffled by the court order with his bond. While the state also confiscated his passport. That’s all done to humiliate and capture him. So, he cannot leave into exile… because the state wants to severely punish him.

It is even proven by how they take him right after the release and didn’t even get a cup of tea or say hello to his family. He just got out of the courthouse and boom, the vehicle and agents of state was there ready for action. They want to scar him more and prove their point. That Muhoozi is an obese man with a very big ego.

Muhoozi needs guidance and help, he needs mercy and some self-reflection, however, the ones around him is only boosting his ego. They are there kissing his fat-ass and cleaning up his plates. They are just “yes-men” who hopes to eat of the career of Muhoozi. They don’t mind this mind-numbingly stupid Lt. Gen. who cannot even carry a few insults or infuriating words. He just supposed to be praised like the baby dictator he is. The future despot and prince of darkness with an ass that can carry few more calories than most apparently. Why do I believe that? Since, his arresting people for calling him obese. I wouldn’t believe, if he let it fly and didn’t pay it no mind. However, when he uses the state apparatus to go after someone for calling him that. Then I have to believe it is true.

So with today’s action. I believe the fat-ass of Muhoozi is the reason for why there is a limited freedom of speech. His ass is blocking that and there is only a dark hole in space. The ass of Muhoozi is blocking the freedom and liberty of men to speak and to digress in public. Because, his ass is so afraid of ridicule and mockery. Since his raised in the belief that anyone should praise the ground his walking on like the demi-God, he believes he is. Peace.

The Case of Kakwenza Rukira is a proof that the rule of law is dying

The National Resistance Movement and President Yoweri Tibuhurwa Kaguta Museveni promised a fundamental change and a new state of governance. However, with time those promises has withered and proven to be a fault-line. There is a correct line, but that isn’t the ones of rule of law or justice for that matter. No, it is blind loyalty to one man and his quest for eternal power. The rest is just a game of scandals and spin to forget the injustice and the plights of the population.

The NRM and Museveni just show their sinister attitude towards their civilians and the dissidents when they are keeping a man incommunicado from 28^th December 2021 to the 11^th January 2022, as his charged in court for disturbing the peace of the President and his son Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerubaga. After the writer insulted and infuriated the ones power. Now, his behind bars and in prison for insulting the President and his Son.

If you thought Museveni brought fundamental change, you are wrong. It is more of the same and his acting just like the ones he “liberated” the people from. There is no difference between him and the ones who fought. The liberation war was for a chosen few and not for the general public. The NRA historicals and the elites, the rest has to beg for mercy it seems. The President wants beggars and people on their knees to get blessings like the former tormentors did to the people in the past.

Museveni and Muhoozi isn’t supposed to be ridiculed or mocked. They are supposed to have fun content and praising texts of glory. These men are supposed to be beloved and cherished. However, these are harming and going after the dissidents, the opposition and the ones who isn’t behind them. They are using the authorities and the law enforcement to silence the ones who dares to defy them. That’s what has happened to Kakwenza Rukira.

The writer dared to call Muhoozi obese and a drunkard. The writer of the Greedy Barbarian dared to question and mock the first family. While he did so in the public and in social media. He did what Dr. Stella Nyanzi has done and others like Pastor Joseph Kabuleta. They have all been taken to court and been detained for their writings. Therefore, the state isn’t acting in a new manner.

They are just resolving it quicker and with more brutality. While not producing him in the courts within 48 hours. Not giving him access to legal representation or having due process. The writer has been gone for days and weeks. The man was missing from 28^th December to the 11^th January 2022. That’s the sort of act of injustice and impunity. This is not proving the state to be fair or treat their dissidents fairly. It is showing the world that Museveni and Muhoozi bears grudges, they are ruthless and reckless. They don’t mind blood, pain or suffering upon the ones who challenge them. While they don’t have the character to address it back in the written word.

It was God damn tweets with a few words, not a decree or a ill advised speech. No, this was quick remarks and mockery on social media. A public figure of the stature of Muhoozi or Museveni should handle that. They should have the character, not only as public figures, but as army commanders. However, they have thinner skin and bigger egos than movie starts. They are sentencing and charging people, because they cannot manage criticism. Maybe, the words of the writer is true, then? He is obese and a drunkard? Is the Lt. Gen. Mr. Obese? Is he fatty-fat and feels ashamed of it? S

Since he has to order and get daddies to help to arrest, torture and keep someone incommunicado for days. That is maybe even validating the mockery, instead of refuting and rebuking it with simple words. That is what the state should do and it has several of spokespersons, government communications outlets and a few ministers who could do something useful. However, they are instead answering with violence and law enforcement. That is showing what lack of resolve and character the two men has.

They cannot articulate or use their minds. Instead they order guns, glory and pain on a civilian. Muhoozi cannot even defend himself. A man who is boosting himself and his position on social media. A man who can be vile and attack without any hesitation other political leaders like Bobi Wine. Muhoozi can write whatever and say what he feels without any other than positive coverage. However, a civilian must face jail and the courts for doing the same. That shows the discrepancy of the current state.

Museveni didn’t come with real change. Neither will Muhoozi. They are just liberators of their own fate and hopes the naive believes their arrogance and their rash acts of insincerity. Clearly, their egos are fragile and the Leopards Anus needs to save his buttocks from his son obese tummy. Peace.

Opinion: When you got nothing, you can always point at Kigali

“Ugandan intelligence has discovered that Kakwenza Rukirabashaija who has been running a smear campaign against Ugandan government officials is a Rwandan agent. Kakwenza was recently arrested following a number of social media posts in which he was insulting President Museveni and the Commander Land Forces Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. CID Spokesperson, Charles Twiine, said that for his recent arrest, Kankweza is charged with “insulting President Museveni and Commander of the Land Forces of UPDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba via his Twitter handle.” (The Kampala Post – ‘Ugandan Intelligence Confirm Kakwenza Rukirabashaija is Rwandan Agent’ 04.01.2022).

We have been here before, as critics and people falling out of favours are suddenly arrested or getting into legal jeopardy. In September 2021 Dr. Lawrence Muganga, the Vice Chancellor of Victoria University faced also espionage case concerning Kigali and Rwanda. Alas, there was never any proof of these allegations. Neither has there been produced any evidence or proof of the allegations towards the VC.

Now in January 2022 we are seeing Kakwenza Rukira getting the same treatment by the authorities. As he has been kept incommunicado and haven’t even produced to the courts within the 48 hours. While the law enforcement and authorities are creating more charges on the individual. That is all happening, because Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerubaga is to lazy to go to the gym. The CLF of UPDF cannot stomach criticism… and there is now alleged torture of the writer and critic of the First Family.

However, what is clear is that the state is using all of its resources on this. They are trying to prove a point. While Muhoozi and his buddies are trying to sell him as the second coming of Jesus on social media. That’s why it’s hurting his pride that someone dislodged the majestic persona and image online. This is why Kakwenza Rukira is taken into custody and proving a point off.

The same the state did also with Dr. Stella Nyanzi who wrote about Museveni mother and the saga of “buttocks”. Now, it is about fatigue and health concerns in a colour expressed ways on Twitter. Clearly, the ones in power and a high ranking officials cannot handle their role as public officials. If you cannot handle the heat, you shouldn’t be in the kitchen. The same is to these gentlemen and the whole first family. As no one there has shown to have character to stomach their role. Since, they arrest and detains the ones that humiliate them online.

The President and the First Family should be able to handle words and articles made about them. This is the same family that has a head who calls people for bean-weevil, insects and pigs. There is no short-change of bad words and utterings about others. Therefore, these people should look onto themselves, before they judge and use the state against others. Peace.

Opinion: Nyanzi do yourself a favour an just stop!

Since the 23^rd February 2021 the exiled academic and activists, and former Kampala Woman MP candidate Dr. Stella Nyanzi have written poems about Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine. These haven’t gone by in a fashion that she might have anticipated. She is undermining her efforts and her cause, if it is still her cause now that’s she’s in Nairobi.

Nyanzi have fought and people been by her side. She has not only fought for her academic position, but also an vocal activist on the side of Dr. Kizza Besigye. In the recent campaign and election. Nyanzi went after Bobi Wine, but when the polls was over and he was in house-arrest. She even wanted the public to demonstrate and go to his home in Magere. So, not long ago she had some sense.

Now, it seems all lost. Her attacks on him getting a bullet-proof car, having mansion and withdrawing a petition. While her own party didn’t petition the courts or even try the legal route. Which it haven’t done since 2011. We are just supposed to forget that now.

“The empty sloganeering leaves one hungry.

The vain promises of liberation quench no thirst” (Nyanzi, 23.02.2021).

She goes after Bobi Wine on this point, but how many campaigns and slogans haven’t the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) come with over the year, that haven’t amassed big movements and civil disobedience? She should look into the mirror of her own allies before throwing stones? This is just mockery and buffoonery, as she should work in tandem with NUP. NUP and FDC should join forces, not have activists going after Bobi Wine. That seems so dumb now. Especially, when the NUP activists are coming back dead after abductions. When NUP are seeing their candidates, activists gone missing, abducted and illegally detained, tortured and even killed. On top of that Nyanzi is saying they are just “sloganeering”. How dare she?

He will not be questioned.

When you have lost the plot. A true man does mistakes, Bobi Wine has made mistakes and acted wrong. Even supporters of the NUP have called him out on it. However, you can kneel in front of Besigye, but not take accountability yourself for your own actions. As you are just going after Bobi Wine. You are just targeting him and his party. Though as that is making the cause better. Which I cannot see… what is your objective? What is your goal? Notoriety, maybe?

He still puffs up his chest and crows like his cock.

I see many with their brand new identity cards.

But we are still bound in our chains of oppression” – Nyanzi (26.02.2021).

All the words she is using against Bobi Wine could have been put on Besigye years. Both men have inspired two generations of freedom fighters and people who wants a peaceful transition from the dictatorship. That is why its weird how she singles out and writes these pieces on Bobi Wine.

Its really striking that he has hit a nerve and damage her calm. His mannerism and words are clearly inciting something in her, which is going into her spine. She isn’t inspiring anything other than disdain. Instead of being vocal and getting people on her side. She’s twisting their hands off and spelling it out.

That its wrong and only hubris to support Bobi Wine. This is how it seems and its not a good look. Especially, how she is such a fanatic about Besigye. A person like that should be careful branding other people…

She needs to leave the internet for a bit. Nyanzi needs to leave it alone. Unless, she has a plan to soil her whole reputation and loose all support within the opposition. Unless, she wants to be fringe writer, who only is mocked and over sexualise politics. She’s a grown person and can do what she likes, but if she wants to be respected and seen a favourable view. Her current route is a road to self-destruction and that’s never a good look. Peace.

Opinion: Willy comes from the woodworks to save Bobi Wine’s Petition

Now the long-gone Presidential Elections Petition of Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine seems to be fetched by former Presidential Candidate Eng. Willy Maymbala. Mr. Mayambala suddenly comes out of nowhere to be the saviour of the day or the useful idiot depending on how you look at it.

Since, the Supreme Court Petition is useless neither way. The Courts will only validate the election and move on. It is all compromised and will not serve in favour of any opposition candidate. A person like Willy is only a pawn in a game chess. This will not change anything.

What is even more striking, is that NBS Television reported this on the man only two or three weeks ago:

“When asked about his financial status post-election on The Morning Breeze show, Mayambala said the elections left him poorer, jobless and down to earth. This is the situation for most politicians after elections, fr those who have lost, it is a double tragedy because they have to deal with the heavy debts without a source of income and for those who win, they have to clear their debts and deal with the pledges they made. It is a catch 22” (Freda Ajok – ‘Former Presidential Candidate Willy Mayambala Broke and Jobless After Elections’ 08.02.2021, NBS Television).

So, a man that is broke and jobless seeks relevance and a paycheck to revive a dying petition. This is clearly an attempt to stay relevant and have some sort of play in the public regard. Willy needs to be seen and get traction. He needs that to stay relevant and have any points of getting validated somewhere. Willy already ran a terrible campaign as an independent and didn’t get anything worth mentioning from election. The only thing he got was debt to deal with. That is surely not the detail he signed up for.

Clearly he does this to get a some traction, but how can a broke man be able to carry the expenses of a court case? How could he even have the funds to campaign and be a Presidential Candidate, when he has nothing when its ended? It is not like he was in the public ahead of the elections and neither been so after it all.

No, this is a publicity stunt and he maybe hopes the State House can bail him out. He has already stated his poverty earlier in the month. A jobless man with no money can clearly not carry a petition like this. Who will be his lawyers and be his attorneys in this case? Who will do that Pro-bono? Aye?

Free Willy, he needs redemption and that quickly. This is not cutting it. It is not funny. Just to breathe life into a dying horse. To validate the election and give Museveni the recognition he needs. So, that he can get the foreign donors of his back. As every “avenue” has been exhausted. Peace.

 

A Memo on Bobi Wine’s Bulletproof Vehicle

Well, so… Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine got a bulletproof SUV as a gift from the diaspora and well-wishers from abroad. It was a gift given to him, because of how the state uses its security organizations and how they are going after him. This is to ensure the leaders safety and security with one measure at least.

However, what has unfolded since says more about the then it should have. First and foremost, they are probing and investigating who allowed it to happen. Secondly, they are warning that they might impound it and make it government property. However, that is really interfering in the givers and the diaspora’s will to donate to Bobi Wine.

Because, until recently… the state has had no issues with donations, gifts and grants to its enterprises. The state could offer deals for kickbacks and whatnot. So, its not like this is new. The President issued a legal remedy a few years back called “Presidential Handshake” where everyone involved in the Tax case with Heritage and Tullow got some extra “bonuses”. Even the brothers who photo-copied documents got a little fortune for the “hard” work in that case.

This vehicle is only showing how this state operates. There are people involved who have no issues and ensure things comes across borders with no fuzz. That is why it came in the hands of Bobi Wine who is practically very isolated and not allowed to do much in the grand sphere of things. Therefore, the state and its high-ranking officials is scratching their heads of the sudden pictures and thank you note from Bobi Wine.

These sorts of perks are only for the ones closely associated with the President or himself in that manner. The state doesn’t even provide these services to the huge entourage who is all eating on the plate of the Executive.

You could wonder and speculate, but the mere gist of it is… that only Yoweri is entitled to gifts like these. He can have planes, choppers, ranches, estates and businesses in his name all around. His plaque of himself across the Republic from schools to a water-tap. That is just what he does. But nobody else is supposed to do it. That is just for the Fountain of Honour himself.

However, the Fountain of Honour cars haven’t been shot at off late. That has happened to Bobi Wine while he was campaigning. That happened at least twice and was close to hit the passenger beside the driver. There were also shots at his tires in another district. So, its easily to say why he see the need for this vehicle with that equipment. When the state is so trigger-happy and aims at him.

This here is a foolish enterprise. It only shows what sort of state that is at play. Instead of showing maturity or sincerity. The state goes after the opposition who just got scraps. When the state own high-ranking officials is swimming in cash and perks. That is obvious to the naked eye. The double standard and the lack of care.

The vehicle is only showing the symptom of everything wrong with the state at this point. A man shouldn’t need that type of car with those specifics, but because of how the state operates. The man needs that type of car to shield himself from danger. Peace.

Opinion: Nyanzi’s obsession with the Bad Man from Kamwokya [isn’t doing her any good]

It is not long ago Dr. Stella Nyanzi left Kampala for Nairobi as she feared for her life post-election time. Everyone understood this and applauded her for leaving to secure herself and her kids shelter in Kenya. However, now that she is there…

Here activism isn’t fruitful or doing anything good. Only showing that her focus isn’t as clear as it needs to be. Nyanzi needs to either chill or ask for some guidance. Because, her two last poems only seems like a weird obsession. For someone who has been a Besigye fanatic and supporter. She should know what it does and why she joined Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).

Nyanzi lost her first election and that to the National Unity Platform candidate for Kampala Woman MP. The two last poems seems like she’s targeting Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine. One is about his “bullet proof car” that the diaspora and his supporters abroad bought him. The other is about him sexually withdrawing mid-way from the Supreme Court. This is really her character now.

We know she has used sexuality and vulgar language. That is why she was arrested over “buttocks”. Therefore, this is not shocking… but her ways… now she is targeting Bobi Wine instead of Museveni. Wanting Bulletproof buses and cars for all citizens. Wondering, if she was as infuriate when Besigye made his a fortress and made new security features?

I don’t remember her fury and style of response to it. Maybe she wrote about everyone needed steel-reinforcement over the windows and windscreen. I cannot recollect that, maybe I don’t get the memo or the 16 bars of fury from the good doctor.

Nyanzi have worked for the cause and shown character. She has gone through a lot for her activism. Nyanzi deserves credit for that. Nevertheless, this here is a full wasteland. It is a such a sorry excuse from her. If she thinks this is her bread and butter. Good for her… but it is not doing any good.

It is just making trenches between the FDC and NUP. Instead of being on the same side trying to dismantle and remove a dictator. The Head of State get to see a battlefield between the ones on the other side. Museveni must be grinning and thinking…. Nyanzi couldn’t have served a better cold opening and be more self-destructive then this.

That is why even in a Open Letter on NRM.Co.Ug called her now a “comrade” and that says it all. Nyanzi should be so much better then this… but apparently this is her game right now. Instead of using her platform to advance the “defiance” or “Plan B” or anything else to challenge Museveni. She is busy going after Bobi Wine, because he isn’t acting in manner, which she is cool with.

Nevertheless, Nyanzi is maybe not the Bad Man’s crowd. Nyanzi maybe hope the international supporters will by her poems and next book. God knows what her next stage in her career. As her political gambit didn’t pay-off in the first play. She needs some sort of guidance. This isn’t it… unless, she wants less friends.

Bobi Wine has backers and they will help him out. Just like others have helped Besigye and other opposition candidates. This is just how the game goes. The diaspora cannot afford to shelter everyone. Neither can the backers of the FDC. Therefore, the former academic. Should ask for the safety from the government… who is the reason and the needs for bulletproof car and vest in the first place. The rigged court system and predetermined petition as well. Not like her party would even challenge an Presidential Election. So, why have trouble pulling out? When your man isn’t even trying to get it in the first place? He wasn’t even hitting that with his bare-feet?

Therefore, Nyanzi better call Kasangeti and get some feedback. We all understand why she left and that is within reason. Now, that she did that for her safety. She should be the first to understand why others see it important to safeguard their leader. Just like it was fine when Besigye added features to his own SUV back-in-the-day. It all made sense then and it does now.

Also, why have problems with withdrawal, when you men doesn’t even try to hit a shorty up? Your gang didn’t even join the dance and don’t even want to see if they have a shot in the first place? That’s because they have already been told in the past they weren’t all that in the past. This is why the FDC isn’t doing it.

Bobi Wine did campaign. The NUP did challenge within its capacity and they gotten much more weight in the game. It is not all lost. Neither is it for the FDC. However, they both need each other and can make it stronger. However, this bickering here is only making things weaker.

Nyanzi should know better, but maybe people like are asking to much. Maybe she has had enough and needs to vent indefinitely. Maybe she was scorned by the loss in the Election and blame the head of the party who made it happen. God knows, but I don’t….

Nevertheless… in this instance. Nyanzi is in the wrong and doing no good. Doing no good to herself and neither to her cause. If she want change and wants to make difference. She could be on the barricades, but here she’s throwing stones at a ally. Just because he got a car and shown the world how entangled the judges was with the dictator. However, that wasn’t enough for Nyanzi. Who is safe and sound in Nairobi. Peace.

“Ugandan academic cum political activist, Dr Stella Nyanzi, has fled to Nairobi, Kenya. She has paid a huge price being bold and active. After this election she has been vocal about defending Bobi Wine and wanting to protest his arrest. However, she haven’t had the same reach and finesse as earlier. She is famous and known. That because she has dared to insult and mock the President.

Stella Nyanzi is a critic and a person fighting the junta. Nevertheless, that costs. Anyone who has followed has seen that. Hopefully, Stella Nyanzi have her kids with her and is safe. There are enough activists, supporters and mobilizers of the opposition figures who is abducted, incommunicado and detained at un-gazzetted safe-houses. Therefore, her fleeing the regime makes sense.

Nyanzi deserves safety and so does everyone else fighting the cause of the dictatorship. You know it is bad when someone see the need to go into exile. This is seeking political refugee. That says it all about the current regime in Kampala. How far and how bad the state of affairs is. When its better to cross the borders from Kampala and flee to Nairobi.

This is really tragic. As Dr. Nyanzi have a role at Makerere University and as a political operative. She has a place and voice, which matters. Her ways is maybe unconventional, but she gets her point across. Where she has cared for the health of woman and their rights to be heard. That is always important and hope that she never looses her steam. But that she soldiers on and continue to fight the good fight.

Yes it has cost and will continue to cost. However, she is not forgotten and we know that she has fought though tribulations. She has suffered and paid a price. Been in prison and been charged. She has lost her job and been re-constituted it. If someone knows what it cost to go against the dictatorship. She is one who knows.

We don’t know for how long this will last. Nevertheless, it is tragic, that someone has flee a nation for this reason. Peace.
