FDU-Inkingi: Press Release – SOS Rwanda: Another FDU-Inkingi Member Eugene Ndereyimane, Disappears Mysteriously (15.05.2019)

Opinion: Annoy the Presidents of our time, expect the authorities to knock-on your door!

Well, were living the year 2019 and some things doesn’t change, the Excellences and the high above are still filled with vanity, which even make the kings of the middle-ages a bit jealous. They are all living in mansions, having power to end people’s lives and give it those who begs them mercy. That is who these men are, these President who has the armies behind them, have security organizations and have the police. If they are lucky, they have appointed all parts of the Courts, to ensure and secure the verdicts of Court cases to go their way.

That is why, it is dangerous to paint or play with photographs of the President of out day. If you do so in Burundi. You will get into trouble and get possible jail time. The same can happen, if you put a hijab over the Tanzanian President. You will get into legal trouble too. If you make a mockery of the United States President Trump in a cartoon, you might even be sacked from your newspaper. The same might happen if you mock the elite and the President in Kenya too. In Rwanda political satire is banned and also political cartoons, because of the fragile mind of the President. He cannot handle that someone makes fun of him and his ways. His vanity self-destruct, every time someone write something funny about him. That is why Kigali is so clean, because nobody is writing silly cartoons about the President. In China, Winne the Pooh, Peppa Pig and other cartoons are banned, as they have been used to mock the President and he cannot handle that. That is why they are banned too. That is just the way the world moves these days. The freedom of speech is limited to these men.

You better not speak of their wives, their kids, whose possible succession is on the horizon. If you do so or call a President a thief, a liar and hypocrite. Expect that you will be arrested and taken to the Courts. No one annoys a modern day President like Museveni on Facebook. No one dares writing something offensive. Especially not something, that might even be true. Because, your only supposed to publish content that has been written by syncopates like Uganda Media Centre, NRM SOMA or GCIC. The rest are supposed to Netflix and Chill, not speak up against the President.

That is just the world we live in, where it is dangerous to annoy our Presidents. They are so high and mighty, but show shallow and prestigious. They are representing us and the citizens of the state, but they are only supposed to kneel to their majesties, not mock them or speak the truth about them. No, we are all supposed to blindly following their footsteps and be honoured to share the same air as them.

We are really living in interesting times, when were supposed to be educated and be able to function as human beings. Where our leadership is supposed to represent us and govern us. Not be almighty gentlemen, who thinks its their right to govern us, they are there because someone has too. It could be their cousin for Gods sake, it could be our nephew, but it is them. Well, they don’t get that and thinks its their divine right and therefore, we better not shatter their calm. That is just the way it is.

As long as we accept this nonsense, that we cannot challenge, cannot joke or poke at the leadership of our time. Than, they will act live demigods, acts like they are above the rest and use the power to assault our freedom. Piece by piece, legislation by legislation. That is just the way it is. Don’t expect gifts, when they are only taking things away.

We need to annoy our Presidents, they need to get annoyed and think why we are doing so. Because, we have the rights to play, critique and ask questions, because they are there for us. Not the other way around. Peace.

Communique Final – Sommet Quandripartite Entre les Chefs d’Etat et de Gouvernement des Republiques d’Angola, Democratique du Congo, d’Ouganda et du Rwanda, Luanda le 12 Juilet 2019 (12.07.2019)

Opinion: Bosco aka the Terminator is now charged, but what about the big-men supporting him?

Today, the International Criminal Court sentenced warlord Bosco Ntaganda of 18 counts on crimes against humanity. This is a victory for the victims of his crimes and the things he did while being a general of militias within the Democratic Republic of Congo for years. However, even with him in the Hague, the sins his committed are still being done by someone else.

That is why the downfall of Bosco aka the Terminator haven’t had much affect. It isn’t like this has stopped militias from robbing, stealing, controlling, child-soldering and raping civilians in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Because, the same ones that supported Bosco is still lingering around and have new henchmen to do their bidding. The same minerals are taken through the same routes to the same sort of illicit trade and securing that another warlord their cut. The only thing that changed was that Bosco went to Europe and had to testify in Court.

Just a friendly reminder of who he is: “Bosco Ntaganda was born in 1973 in Kinigi, which is a small village located in the Virunga mountains in Rwanda. Shortly after, his family moved to Ngugu in Masisi in North Kivu. In 1990, at the age of 17, Bosco Ntaganda joined the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF), a rebellion whose military wing was led by the current President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. Bosco Ntaganda will then successively be used in the Rwandan army (1990-1995), AFDL (1996), RCD (1999), UPC (2003), CNDP (2003), the Congolese army (2004) and finally M23 (2012). He knows too much about Kagame’s organized crimes in the African Great Lakes region. Peace and security in this sub-region require first an end to impunity” (FDU-Inkingi – ‘The transfer of warlord Bosco Ntaganda to the International Criminal Court and the deployment of the special intervention brigade in Eastern DRC are two most priorities’ 22.03.2013).

So, its not like Bosco don’t have handlers behind him or had a support system for his tricks and trade. No, Bosco had a powerful ally, someone whose been meddling in the DRC for years. Someone who has sent his troops and earned fortunes on the minerals in the DRC, Mr. President Paul Kagame of Rwanda. Therefore, it is not like nobody was giving him weapons and letting him get rich of the spoils. It was the man who trained him and gave him the military education for later using him as a militia man in the DRC.

Just to put in more in perspective, Mondiaal nieuws reported: “But Ntaganda is of use to Kabila as well. Berwouts: ‘With the CNDP, Kabila won the support of the only power that could somewhat stabilize East Congo and moreover serves his electoral interests. In the run-up to the election, only Kabila was able to campaign in CNDP areas.’ What was not part of the agreement, is that the CNDP remained a state within a state, establishing a proper administration in Masisi and considered a threat rather than bringing security by large portions of the population. So Ntaganda is taking care of both Kagame’s and Kabila’s interests. That explains how he became a general of the Congolese army in 2009, in spite of the International Court of Justice issuing an arrest warrant against him three years earlier for crimes against humanity, mainly because of child soldier recruitment” (Stefano Valentino, John Vandaele & Anneke Verbraeken – ‘The killer king of North Kivu’ March 2012).

This shows the world how connected the Warlord and General was in his time. It wasn’t like he was in a vacuum doing his deeds. No, he was connected to Kagame and Kabila, they both endured and earned fortunes on his services. They accepted his crimes and promoted him for what he did. Therefore, it is striking that none of them had to pay for his crimes, but only him. Like he is the only one who committed this and did these acts.

We should wonder why Kagame and what he offered in return for the surrendering of Ntanganda. Why the ICC didn’t get Laurent Nkunda and others, whose become forgotten or not worthy criminals for the Courts. Surely, there must have been something for Kagame and Kabila to offer the Terminator to let him go and let him answer for these crimes. Because, surely, they didn’t want it all uncovered, especially they didn’t want their secret shady agreements done in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This would all stain their political future and also their standing among their peers. That is something, Kabila and Kagame couldn’t have. Therefore, without certainty, the leaders must have offered Bosco something in return, as he did rat them out and is now eating the charges. Peace.

Uganda-Rwanda Tensions Part V: Deadly Deceptions!

The incident of 25th May 2019 is really haunting the Republics. Each Foreign Affairs has two different stories. The same has the respective Police Authorities delivered statements of similar fashion. Therefore, the incident itself is in question. Both parties claims the incident happen on their soil and that they were justified in their actions. The Ugandan claims the Rwandan crossed their borders. While the Rwandan claims it happen on the other side and that the smugglers fled the scene. However, this is stories that doesn’t fit well together.

Here is snippet of the statements dropped within the last 48 hours:

While the Ugandan Foreign Affairs today claims the Ugandan national was shot on their territory by Rwandan soldiers. Also, an Rwandan Business Man was shot and died on its land. As the Rwandan soldiers even tried to intervene and bring back the dead from its territory. But because of local intervention and brining them to the nearest Health Centre, the soldiers had to retreat back to Rwanda. The MoFA promise the delivery of his remains on the 27th May 2019.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Rwanda today claims the soldiers, which crossed the border was shot in Rwanda, but fled hurt and died in Uganda. They even says there was a meeting between Ugandan Rukiga District LCV Chairman and the Rwandan Nyagatare District Mayor, were the parties agreed the incident happen on Rwandan soil.

The Rwandan Police claimed yesterday that the suspected smugglers tried to cross the border from the Rwandan side, as the military intercepted them, the incident became violent. The authorities shot at the gang who tried to cross into Uganda. Killing two people, who fled across an un-gazetted border-point.

Earlier yesterday, the Ugandan Police Force in their statement, claimed that the incident happen on Ugandan soil. Where an Rwandan Business Man had crossed with merchandise across the border. Where the Rwandan Soldiers intercepted him, killed him and an Ugandan citizen as well. As they claim the Rwandan soldiers crossed illegally into the territory and then shot the two people, an Ugandan and the Rwandan national. Both got shot and died as they were taken to the closest health centre.

Doesn’t add up!

Certainly, these statements doesn’t add up. The last 48 hours, both parties have cried foul. There are two nationals, one Ugandan and one Rwandan national killed. The only thing that is consistent in the narrative, is that the Rwandan soldiers shot and intervened towards the deceased individuals. What is striking is how the people who gotten shot had the capacity after the violence to cross across the border to Kamwezi sub-county in Uganda. Just think about it driving on a boda-boda from Tabagwe, Nyagatare District to Kamwezi Health Care Centre. Which by Google Map is 15km and takes about 30 minutes. However, this is without stops and driving straight on target. Nevertheless, if the stories is told like it is.

There is a twist!

If driving while shot:

This is just the first weird thing about it, as the supposed smugglers crossed the borders on a motorcycle. One person was taking himself across the border, shot with used clothes and a deceased partner on it. As he was supposed to be able to cross, unnoticed with a body, smuggling merchandise and a bullet wound. That is part of the story that boggles me. Since, who else does this kind of stunts, except for a Hollywood Action Movie casting Jason Statham and Bruce Willis. One man with a bullet wound able to cross a border point and lack of strength. Certainly, the now deceased Ugandan national must have strong will-power in his final hours. I doubt the adrenaline or extra push from a shot fella can push this through. Unless, its scripted and his saving the world from an possible Armageddon.

That is why the conflicting stories doesn’t make sense. Unless the Rwandan counterparts are planing on exiting scripts for movies. Because, if the persons was killed on Ugandan soil. It makes some sense. Even if that means someone illegally crossed the border and without jurisdiction murdered two individuals of two different nationalities. This seems more reasonable, even if that implicates the Rwandan Authorities. Since, their stories make the Ugandan deceased man seeming like a superhero with the force of 50 Cent. We don’t know how and where he was hit, but the shot from the soldiers was fatal. Meaning, it wasn’t a flesh-wound, but something that stinged him.

We can wonder if the truth of this incident will come out, but right now. The stories are conflicting, and someone trying to deceive the public. One party is lying and the other party is maybe even not telling the whole truth. However, there are two people dead because of this and they deserve for the truth to come out. As they cannot speak on what happen, but only be used as martyrs and as tools in a narrative fitting each states agenda. Peace.
