Be woke!

Never let anyone take your soul, take your spirit and thinking mind. Not accept everything said and done. Put questions on to the men and woman in power, not just accept it. There are secrets and there are state secrets, but that doesn’t mean we can rationally questioned the ones who represent us. That is what we have to do. We cannot accept to just shuffle their snow and their regulations, without any contribution coming our way.

We have to question the social media, the media itself and also the written word. The government press releases will be the subtle and wanted spin on the manner. They can try to say it rosy affair, when we know their was dirty laundry behind the scenes, kinda like CD full of hits like Shakira’s Laundry Service.

As the people are tired after work and trying to live hand to mouth, as the corporations are getting more wealthy. The major political parties are working for corporate greed and the 1% wealthy, we have to question, if the system we have is the right one. If this is how it is supposed to be. We might not have to much slave-trade in the world at the moment, but the biggest corporations are really reeling and betraying the ideals of fair trade and righteous wages for their workers. Even Unions are squashed, the tariffs are hurting the low-level productions and the strict codes of conduct, even stops some from exporting to major markets.

The poor is kept, so that the aid industry can continue to be relevant, also so the rulers can beg for loans and donations for state institutions without having much of transparency and neither real results. Misusing the funds for own personal gains and elites, which offers the needed Forex Exchanges. This is all happening day-to-day and no-one blinks of an eye. We just let it happen, clap our hands and gives a coin. But not question how the operations are done and why the Lesser Developed States doesn’t evolve or even deliver governance that matter. That is because it doesn’t, it is cycle of desperation and despair, where the poor is used by both parties, while the public sympathy abroad is securing the need of delivering more direct state aid. Even if the rulers has no plan of making sufficient systems or building institutions, because if that happens. Then the donors will back-off and the funding for the lavish and easy life-style will vanish. An unjust ruler cannot let go off the simple money delivered smack-daddy in the middle of the face with very few strings attached. The game is rigged and some elites are eating the whole plate.

It is with this in mind, we needs to question ourselves and be woke. We need to ask ourselves, is the world we want? Where lobbyist and elites are trading the resources, where the states are near vassal states of the superpowers, even the dwindling ones like the United States. While Russia and China is promoting their clear agenda. China is rigging itself nicely with major loans, big infrastructure building and economic stimulus. Not only to make partnership with this states, but also to secure the first hand grab in needed resources. Even get control of the infrastructure if the state starts to fail on their loans. The latest victim for this tactic was Sri Lanka. We will know that more nations will fall as prey for this. It is just a matter of time, before someone lacks funding for loans and default.

Not that I have all the answers, I don’t, I usually have to few and asks questions, because we have to see and the steps ahead is uncertain. We cannot anticipate how it will go, but the ones in power. The ones with the biggest cut, will not share. They will lie and deceive to trick us, to make us feel okay and move-on. Instead of we questioning why they are ruling, why the corporations are taking over and why they are allowed to do what they do.

We have to question, we cannot accept that all of the media on one side or another sounds like robocalls of each other. Where the media isn’t checking and balances of the power, but instead are making enough drama and enough entertainment. So that ignorance breathes ideocracy. We could have questions, we could have minds, where the state isn’t arrogant and ignorant of the needs of the people, but they are, because they are more vital for consumption, but not for service delivery. When it becomes like that, then the nations are lost. Also the real advantages of our times.

When Multi-National Corporations, Multi-National Organizations and Big Corporate Media is working together and making sure we doesn’t think of what they do and how it becomes the way it are. Not because everything is devious. Because everything is not made with the mind control, with the ability to spin. But it is made for profit and made for the cash. The world moves on the currency and the monies made that day. If there wasn’t money in wars, there wouldn’t been invested such vast amount of money in killing people. Mercenaries is a thriving business, hired guns in international operations are a thing. Dark money is a thing, because the society is not supposed to tax every industry.

We still need to question their behavior, even as we their main motivation and their reason for existing in our lives. To deliver products, but also profits for their shareholders. That doesn’t mean their should have total secrecy and not be transparent in their ways of handling affairs and employees. As well, as Multi-National Organization, which needs to deliver Bi-Lateral Agreements and Negotiations. They are important to create trust and security. To check the states, but when they get to friendly and become hired guards, than we should worry. When the United Nations Organizations get to involved, instead of being their on short time mandate and with backing for the International Community. We should worry that this weakens the sovereign nations and the institution building, as the UN Organizations are there instead. Creating the same vacuum for the rulers as the Non-Government-Organizations, which are there to deliver one mission, but ends up filling the gap of the state. So the state doesn’t have to work on the matter, because foreign donations and work covers it.

That is the grandest of it, the lacking questions, it isn’t a quick fix. This wasn’t created in a swift hand. This system wasn’t there from just yesterday, it has been there for years and we need to think and ask. Is this the best we can up with? Isn’t there other ways to make sure of governance and institution building? Isn’t there a better way to secure the free mind and spirits? Or do we need to live in fear?

There are many questions, many unanswered, but there is a need to ask. I don’t have the answers. But we cannot hide under a rock and anticipate that it moves on its own. That only happens to Jesus. For the rest of us, we have to find tools, call for help or start digging in the dirt around the rock to get out.

Ask questions, write what you like, but don’t just accept everything. Being critical is good and doing more research on matter is good to. Because we need that to have a healthy discussion about our time and our problems. That is why I have little answers, but have questions. Because I don’t fear asking them. Neither should you. Peace.

Presidential Inauguration crowds investigation clears the State Officials of NAMA and NPS!

The White House Officials and Press Secretaries like Sean Spicer and even the President Donald J. Trump has claimed how big his crowd was. Even as the pictures of the event show otherwise. Not like the President will accept that and therefore has spend tax-payers dollars on investigating the National Park Service (NPS) and the NPS National Mall and Memorial Parks (NAMA), who we’re in charge of the inauguration and the state response to the matter. However, the allegations made by the White House of tampering was and is not verified of being hogwash. That the President and his august house is spending time on this and valuable time of state officials to determine the state of affairs. Proves how this administration has an ego problem. Here is the statements worth taking note from the new NPS report!

On January 21, 2017, the NAMA official allegedly asked staff during a meeting to “scrub” attendance records to remove information about the size of the crowd at the inauguration. We found no evidence to substantiate the allegation that the NAMA official asked staff to alter crowd size information. The official told us that during this meeting she asked the staff to make sure they did not include crowd size estimates in any reports. She told us that she did not say the word “scrub” during the meeting, and she denied telling the staff to alter any information” (…) “The official told us she also gave the staff this instruction because the press and the White House had expressed interest in the size of the crowd at the inauguration. She said that she asked a few staff members to review the reports to verify that no reference to crowd size was included. According to the official, the review revealed that no reports contained references to crowd size” (NPS, P: 2, 2017).

While at work on January 21, 2017, several NPS staff members were watching a live White House press conference on television. During the press conference, an NPS public affairs employee allegedly said that he disagreed with, and needed to “refute,” statements that White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer made about the inauguration. The complainant could provide no information beyond this initial complaint, but believed that based on the public affairs employee’s comments, either that employee or another public affairs employee may have disclosed information to the press about the phone conversation between President Trump and Reynolds. We found no evidence to substantiate this allegation. Both of the public affairs employees denied disclosing information to the press about the President’s phone call to Reynolds. In addition, Reynolds and NPS National Capital Region Director Bob Vogel told us that knowledge of the phone call was widespread throughout the NPS, since the initial call from the White House came in to the U.S. Park Police operations center. Reynolds stated that he did not consider his conversation with the President protected information. He also felt the news articles that reported on the phone call did not contain details that the two public affairs employees would have known” (NPS, P: 3, 2017).

Regarding the DOI employee’s photos, the public affairs employee said he saw emails that led him to believe that these photos were sent to the White House through the Office of the Secretary of the Interior. We interviewed the two employees whose photographs were submitted to the White House, and they described how they chose their photos and to whom they sent them. The NPS employee explained that he selected a number of photos, based on his professional judgment, that concentrated on the area of the National Mall where most of the crowd was standing. The DOI employee told us that upon receiving Reynolds’ request, she selected seven photos, based on what she thought were the best angles, and sent them to an employee of the Secretary. The Secretary’s employee told us she forwarded two or three of those photos to the White House” (NPS, P: 4, 2017).

If these words isn’t evident enough, there is no conspiracy of lacking morals or trying to make the inauguration of President Trump look small or portraying it wrongly by the State Officials. If it was otherwise, the report and investigation would have unravel that fact. Mere thought of it and that the White House had to create this confusion of reality, proves the little faith the President has in his own men and organizations. Who are all loyal to the Republic and its ideals. Clearly, the self obsessed President thinks different. Total vindication of all the claims from the White House. President Trump cannot now spend more time on the matter. But his ego will. Peace.

Opinion: The rich are so poor nowadays!

“The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.”Franklin D. Roosevelt

Well, this time in history will be remembered, in the times that the multi-national corporations have most of them fled their regional scenes and put their headquarters and main operations into tax havens. Therefore, with this in mind, the states and republics that actually is where they make the profits get less tax and get fewer monies to spend on public services. That does not make them poor, but smart someone might say. This is legal and the openness of the economies let them do it, but to be frank, we should question this big giant corporations for their fleeing fortunes abroad.

The corporations are not alone in all of this, the rich people themselves cannot sustained this, they cannot afford to pay reasonable taxes, and they need tax-relief so they can salvage their Monte Carlo and their Lamborghini’s. They have their massive mansions and stalls of cars, but cannot pay the percentages on the tax as ordinary working-class do. In addition, the working-class use decades on end to pay down the mortgage on the house and loan on their Ford Fiesta. If they can even afford a house and a car at his point.

The American enterprise and experience is really seeing it, as they plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, because the wealthy are too broke or to selfish to help the working-class who made them rich. That the working-class and industrial worker are falling behind as new schemes to outrun their possibilities. The corporations and the believers of free economies want more flexibility, but do not give equal wages or compensations. Therefore, the loser in the transactions are the workers and not the companies. Secondly, the states earn less without added productivity.

It is naive that the businesses care about other things than the bottom-line is vicious, like the wealthy have the capacity to share the spoils, which they have earned on the commoners and the citizens. Therefore, the spoils, which in some industries entails sweatshop workers and exports to the Western hemisphere with grand profits for the clothing and appeal giants. Something that the workers in Bangladesh or Pakistan doesn’t see anything delivered back, than a filthy industrial complex and possible health hazards for their hours work on end for a lousy T-shirts.

The others are the ones who are doing mining and extraction for the technology and IT businesses that has no issues with the illegal and militias taking controls over mining fields and black-market trading of rare earth minerals or cobalt for that matter. As long as the giant companies trading computers, smart-phones and whatnot get their profits. Certainly, the CEO and other leaders in the corporations should worry of the implications and the lives destroyed while their businesses are earning loads of monies. There should be some sort of certification of the weak trading points; if they knowingly paid, some of the monies on technology could fund militias and illegal armed conflicts.

This is real poverty, that we have systems, salary structures and imports that hurt local areas, while the businesses earn fortunes, that again is flying on the merry to a tax haven in the pacific through a shell-company set-up by lawyers in Panama. In addition, this is legal and just, by law and in society. That the same companies telling their workers that they cannot afford more wages, since they have to stack millions upon millions in the British Virgin Island. So that the shareholders and stakeholders can earn profits for the toils and sweat of fellow workers.

So when I hear that the workers cannot ask for bigger salaries, while the states and republics create tax-holidays and tax-breaks, incentives for “investments” while the big-men are doling away vast fortunes in the middle of the day. Like a legal heist, a theft of both tax and salary, the salaries that could be used more in the system to gain growth, and secondly the added tax that could build roads and infrastructure that the company could need. However, hey, we do not need proper roads and wages, as long as the rich can travel to Monaco and St. Tropez whenever they feel like it. We are foolish to think otherwise!

When you hear that the rich has to get tax-breaks and their taxes cut, know that they are poor in spirit and heart. They may have vast fortunes and riches, but their hearts are empty. They do not see the problems of the day-to-day basis of the ones creating their empires. They do not see the people who buys their labeled products and services. They only see the bottom-line, the empty shells companies’ accounts and the schemes to hide the monies. That is because these wealthy people are so poor; they cannot afford to be like the rest of us.

The wealthy are so poor, they are so poor that they have to avoid taxes or pay taxes, because if they were paying taxes they would be like us. They would have the same responsibilities and have the same understanding of welfare and public services. Therefore, since they do not need the public service, they can afford to travel abroad for health-care; they can afford to send their kids to private schools and can afford to import goods. Then they do not need the support and the base line of the republic or the state. Like you and I do. Therefore, with that in mind, which is why they are so poor. Their poverty is in the mind and in their spirit; they cannot be a part of us, because they want to shield themselves from us. Still, earning our monies and taking our cheap labor, no problem!

This poor people need help, they need guidance, their riches might fall out of their hands, might be lost in coup d’état or worse than they get bankrupt. Than they need the states to salvage their business or their bank, with our tax-monies, without any hesitation, but when it was booming. That was the time they had no need of paying taxes or paying amends to the state through the regulations. Like we do and pay for our right to live and use the needed services of the states.

In these interesting times of ours, we have the riches seeking to pay-less, while the working-class is footing the bills or trying too. While the republics and states make it harder for public service and make it more expensive to pay for the needed services. This are all made in the hands of the wealthy and the multi-national corporations, without considering the implications of the commoner, the working-class nor the middle-class that are all sinking on the behalf of the rich. Certainly, the belief that the trickle-down economy should be a project avoided, but to many still have faith in the paradigm. While very, few have any social mobility or have the capacity to go from one class to the next. Peace.

Opinion: Eric Trump are right, under the Trump Administration, the US is becoming a “Third World State”!

It’s really sad that we’re in an environment where tax returns are leaked by whoever it may be” (…) “Just think about it. Think about how dangerous that is, how third world that is on a practice that happened. When personal information is put out by people for political agendas. As a civilian, it’s actually scaryEric Trump on Fox News (Tani, 2017).

It is just one of these days where the sons of President Donald Trump speaks their mind and hits the nail. The nail is in the coffin, with the knowledge of the plans to make the republic less attractive, less business-friendly, more lassiez-faire and more focused on army than on progressive financial instruments and regulation to create growth. Trump Administration is busy with deporting millions, building a wall and starting trade-wars. The U.S. Government does not need to be transparent or accountable while doing so. Especially, not in the minds of one of his sons. That claims something unique and special. I have claimed in the near past that under President Trump, the U.S. Government could turn the Republic into a Banana Republic, a sort of style government that could be described by others as a third world one. Therefore, let the dictionary explain that!

Eric Trump needs a definition of the Third World:

1: a group of nations especially in Africa and Asia not aligned with either the Communist or the non-Communist blocs” (…) “2: an aggregate of minority groups within a larger predominant culture” (…) “3: the aggregate of the underdeveloped nations of the world” (Merriam-Webster).

So the United States can itself soon be fitted, not that it is an Asian or African nation, neither Communist, but still it is getting underdeveloped by the way the financial framework and industry is set-up under the Trump Administration. Where the Industry and Financial industry has the Administration by the balls and no eager of taking care of nature or the resources, except for eating the profits without giving anything back to the Republic. Just like the Oil Industry in Nigeria or in Ghana. The same as the mining and mineral industry in the Democratic Republic of Congo. So the United States under President Trump, will be similar. Eric Trump is not so far off, just not the way he thought he would be.

Another man’s vision:

This brings about complete dysfunction. It makes everything — economy, politics, roads, bridges, police, school — broken and shitty. Those who can leave do. Making it worse. This leads to more extremism, and more corruption, and more cynicism. And sometimes extreme violence. Because the other side becomes evil” (…) “The US has been shifting towards all four of these over the last 30 years, with inequality leading the way. We are more divided, economically and socially, then we have ever been (we are less divided racially. But only marginally so.)” (Arnade, 2016).

So when you have a system on the brink of collapse, a wealthy elite eating of the government plate and settling score to not pay their bills to the public, while the citizens and middle-class cannot build a steady life or afforded needed services, you know there are something wrong with the system and the state. That makes the Eric Trump words so right, that United States is becoming more like a third world country, with a sophisticated army, but cannot afford health care, schools or infrastructure. Just like the countries President Trump doesn’t want to affiliate with or been seen with. Since him and his advisor Bannon are supposed to be superior, and like a dictator in a Third World country, he believes he is always right and isn’t wrong.

So one smudge of evidence of his fathers Tax Returns from 2005 leaked to MSNBC Rachel Maddow, proves the realization of the state, that the Trump Administration would dislike. As they are not capping the debt, neither taking into account their ideas of taxation and tax-releases, as much as their will to deregularte industry and financial institutions. Therefore, leading the space of more expenses and negative environmental policies, that damage earth and only gains profit for a slim elite. Just like a Third World Country.

This is degrading for the United States, but the harsh truth, the ideas and policies in the making, the killing of health insurance, the idea of building the giant nuclear silos, while not paying for food for the starving. Proves that the U.S. Government are no closer to countries it does not want to be affiliated with, but still can be consider to be assimilated with. President Trump and his administration is clearly not wishing to be differing from chauvinistically taking charge and not caring what effect it has. Clearly, it is only his image that matter, just like any big-man and authoritarian leader.

So, soon we can say that the United States is underdeveloped and need aid, as their waters are daft, the industry is lacking technology, the roads are more potholes than tarmac, the bridges are weak, their railways not working and often not trusted. The United States has soon more expensive foreign imported goods, than what they produce and is losing money on their export of cash crops as soya and other grain. Therefore, President Trump leading his Republic to become underdeveloped or become a Third World Country.

Opinion: Mzee shows hypocrisy, one day speaking ill of it and the next day doing it!

m7-06-02-2017
Tarehe Sita 36th Celebration Day in Apac

The man behind the Presidential Handshake, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has outdone himself today, as the report of that his people shouldn’t be begging for money. Well, every time he travels with his liaisons and cronies he brings brown envelopes to dole around. Therefore it is refreshing to read this from the man who is the walking ATM. The man who buys loyalty has a problem that people begs him and his government for money. This is the same government that allocates and spends monies without any proof of where it was used. Just take a look!

President Museveni said on last Thursday:

“People should get out of poverty through labour but not begging. You cannot get out of chan (poverty) through kwayo (begging),” (…) “There is a cancer called Leukemia. Now when your body cannot make its own remo (blood), you depend on blood transfusion. They put in blood, after two weeks it is finished; they put in more blood, it is finished [again]. How can you go on like that?” (…) “So when you want to fight poverty through begging, it’s not a good idea. In fact when you try to get out of poverty through begging you spread poverty. Even the one who gives you also becomes poor” (Oketch, 2017).

Well, President Museveni knows his bit of poverty and how he earned his fortune. He got it through a rebellion and coup d’état against ruling regime. Since then he has ruled and made ways for himself to profit on the state coffers. The added debt on the state over the years and the donors leaving, therefore he suddenly doesn’t want the Republic to beg. Still, he walks with brown-envelope and gives them to the ones he sees fit. Then you shouldn’t wonder why the inflation and BoU has to borrow funds to keep up with the spending of the State House.

So the begging comes from Museveni’s own actions and how his government has operated over time, over three decades. Therefore, inevitably the public would be sucked into the ways as they see and follow the procedure, even if it isn’t written in stone. The Government has created their own monster. Today on the Tarehe Sita 36th Celebration Day in Apac at the Boma Grounds, the President gave another brown envelope of unknown value to the Apac Church of Uganda Mothers Union.

If Museveni was wanting to stop the begging culture, maybe there would be procedures and through meaningful ways of governance, where the applications and the filing through needed ministry and funds would have given Apac Church of Uganda Mothers Union could have gotten Membership support through a Ministry who has sufficient programs to deliver it through. Instead, it is all on the mercy of President and when he visits in goodwill. That is not building resilient and institutional practice to end begging.

So if Mzee want to stop begging for real and wants change, he has to steer the wind and use the wind so he knows where the winds blow. Instead he is a tornado who drops money where ever he turns and nobody can control that. Peace.
