We are living in marvellous times as the big-men are avoiding answering for their acts. We are living in times, where the cronies of the President vanishes into thin-air, because they lack moral authority and respect of the law. They are just going away into the abyss without telling people.
That Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda did come to the Plenary Session on the 18th December 2018 is a proof of neglect and disrespect of the August House. That the PM doesn’t mind skipping hard questions and the role of government, as they are busy stifling the voices of dissent in the republic. That is the mere reality.
“The Prime Minister, Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda on Wednesday failed to appear before Parliament to explain why government had banned Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine from performing at live music concerts. However in a surprise move, even the minister of Internal Affairs, Jeje Odong who was delegated to read the government statement disappeared in thin air after attending Parliament for a few hours. During plenary on December 18, the Speaker Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga summoned Rugunda to appear before the House the next day and explain why government continues to block Bobi Wine from performing at live concerts across the country” (Sam Ibanda Mugabi – ‘Rugunda vanishes, fails to explain ban on Bobi Wine concerts’ 20.12.2018, link: http://nilepost.co.ug/2018/12/20/rugunda-vanishes-fails-to-explain-ban-on-bobi-wine-concerts/).
Usually, the biggest ghost, the biggest man who is nowhere to be found is the Vice-President Edward Ssekandi. He can be gone for months without any public profile, he is like the marionette, who is there, but isn’t really.
Now, this week, it seems like the Prime Minister needs some teaching from the VP to be able to vanish without people caring. Because this is the reality. That the PM doesn’t want to answer for blocking of concerts, the blatant disregard for the artistry and livelihood of the MP Robert Kyagulanyi. As they are showing signs of oppression against him.
Therefore, the ghosting, the reflection of weakness, the lack of respect and dignity of the Parliament. Comes also to the front, as the PM don’t even have the character to stand up for his boss and answer simple questions. It should be easy, as this is acts done deliberately by the government against the MP. It shouldn’t be rocket science.
However, the PM should take a few lessons from the VP. If he did, he wouldn’t end up in the headlines, but at a burial, officiating for the state. Peace.

“Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish.” – Euripides
Today, was the day where the extension of the IPOD Summit 2018 was launched with brazen words from the President and the other partners around the table. Where the glowing lights and media houses was welcomed for the new initiative and the new committee, which is placed under the wings of the State House. As most things this day, another parastatal closely connected with the President.
The Republic has already the aforementioned Inter Party Organization for Dialogue or the IPOD. Which will by next year, been there and going in whatever pace it is since 2009. That is decade and the first summit was this year. So, when Mr. President says he is all about Dialogue, he is lying, but that is tradition in his blurred vision.
That the President proclaims dialogue and talks now, is that he see that his figure abroad is distorted and that his allies is starting to question him. Not only that he is a weapon-brother, but that he keeps shady friends. The President is scheming with Sudan, North Korea and anyone coming his way. As long as he gets the cash, even Equatorial Guinea is a friendly haven.
That is why the dialogue is so important, because when he was opposition himself. It wasn’t vital or important. It was even needed, the other parties was criminals and looters. Now he is the one who has eaten and ate for so long, he forgotten the time he even was freed by soldiers in prison in 1980. However, at this point, that is water under the bridge.
That the President is starting a National Dialogue Committee at the State House in 2019. Is a bit late, is very late in the time of the Presidency, it is too late to be serious from someone who never retires. Never gives way or even surrender to his own narratives and going against his vision. The President has always to get on top and win. The others has to be his minions, if not they have to be useful tools in the box. That fix his issues and get it done. So he can bask in the glory. This would certainly be wish of this committee.
That I have little faith is that the IPOD has done little or anything. The coalitions of the opposition has done nothing to overcome the hardships of political landscape. None of their actions, none of their partnership into the elections has made significant progress. Not that their partnership or coalitions would matter, when you have an Electoral Commission and ruling regime rigging the results for their benefit.
If the President had cared about the IPOD, which has been there since 2009, than he would have looked into the The Democratic Alliance (TDA) in 2015/2016 or the Inter-Party Cooperation (IPC) in 2010/2011, also the Group of Six (G6) from about 2004 to 2006. That is three Opposition Coalition, who haven’t feared well, as the NRM has done it their way.
The Forum for Democratic Change has done more dialogue and talks, than the NRM has. As they haven’t been interested in that, they we’re never interested in Multi-Party Democracy in the first place. Therefore, Museveni is lying saying he has done talks since back-when. That was to solidify his position and strengthen the Movement System. He didn’t want anything else. Because he couldn’t control the outer bodies. That is why he has made laws he gets notified of other parties activity and public meetings. So, that they have to get verified and allowed to do so. If not they are breaking the law of the Republic, if they are crossing his laws. That is the initial act of the Public Order Management Act of 2010. That was a year after the 2009 launch of IPOD.
Now in 2018, he launches a National Dialogue Committee at the State House, like it will make a difference. As the IPOD never has achieved that, neither has the G6, IPC and the TDA. None of them have made enough progress or had the ability to make anything fruitful. Even if their initial idea or message was good. That because Museveni never been honest about elections or dialogue, as it has to only benefit him. If it doesn’t he will tarnish and destroy you. Don’t expect the new committee makes significant steps, they are a front and the wold should know it. Peace.

There are someone out there that is so afraid of Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, that he is using all his tools at his disposal to stop him from being himself. That the Member of Parliament from Kyadondo East and Artist. Is such a phenomenon, that the President is shitting in his pants. Actually, he doesn’t know what does with the Leopards Anus. He is sprinting around like a wild fox trying to capture the game.
Why does I say that, because not only has the authorities blocked him from performing at Namboole Stadium, as Bobi Wine and management planned for scheduled Album Launch there in October, second time at the same venue in November. Days after he rescheduled on his land at the Busaabala – One Love Beach. Where he was able to hold it after all issues with authorities, but because it was on his own property. They couldn’t stop it.
In the early December, the same authorities blocked a Kyarenga Extra at the Smiling Panda in Gulu, the day before the trial, which a continuation of the oppression from the Post-Arua By-Election. That the state plans to keep on going into 2020, if they get their wish. Yesterday, was yet another day, as he was the headliner at the 5th Street Jam in Jinja. Where the Police went all out, blocked the roads, detained and abducted the Bobi Wine Team there. There is nothing the Police wouldn’t do in their tyranny to make life worse for the MP. That is the reality with their recent actions.
As they have blocked him all the way, stopped him from performing as an artist. That would be as the Police would go to one of the ranches of the President. Destroy the produce and kill the livestock. That is what the Police is doing to Bobi Wine. They are also arresting his friends, his associates and his management team. They are really playing hardball, showing force and intent.
It is proof again and again. Just like it has been with everything Besigye has tried in his time. Bobi Wine is feeling now. Museveni is showing his true color again and again. Peace.

In Jinja today, the Police has again shown their loyalty to their master, as they have blocked Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine from performing at the Fifth Annual Street Jam. This was bound to happen at the Queens Palace. The event was cleared by the Police before, but they didn’t care.
To top it all, the Police raided City Hotel where the artist and MP was supposed to stay. Also, where the Firebase or team of Bobi Wine was residing. They while they were trying to find his hideout. Clearly, the Police has a mission to stifle and make his life hard.
That the Police are working hard to torment the people of Bobi Wine is clear. As they are taken now, arrested and put into jeopardy. Bobi Wine is trying to make a living, while being an artist and the freedom of speech, the liberty to assemble and the freedom for all isn’t for all. It is a limited freedom and a limited liberty in the Republic. The proof has long been the stifling of all political activity for Besigye. Now the same is happening Bobi Wine. Finally, some more eyes are opened. As he is trying just to perform his craft.
This is the truth of the acts of oppression and dictatorship. An artist, a man who oppose the almighty, the one that orders everything from above. The acts of a President, that wants again to show his force, his might and what resources he posses. That anyone who is in his way has to pay.
However, that will be his legacy, even if he preaches peace and dialogue, the torture, the destruction of institutions and the lack of faith in the public. Is the reality of these actions. President Museveni has lost his ways, but he doesn’t know it. Because all the YES-MEN around praise his every fart and smell of poop.
That is just the reality and its sad. That the tyrant thinks he has the vision, but really looks at the world like a drunk sea-man. He is faring blindly, but have no clue.
Bobi Wine is a threat to the power-drunk man at the State House. This is not news, but we just have to repeat it. Peace.

Sometimes, you wonder if the big-men think they are fooling themselves, with grandeur, with splendid facilities, with amazing statements, but however, there are no fruitful declaration or anything significant to prove of the gathering. Other than a few photo-ops and smiles from the attendees.
The IPOD Summit on the 12th December 2018 seems like that today. As there are no concessions, no proof of any movement, the Movement is at a standstill and the Opposition Parties that did show up. Was seemingly there for leverage and not for any political gains. As there are none to prove after mere hours of attending.
That James Akena of the Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC) hailed the process, is fine in itself, but what use has process, when there is no outcome? Why was Norbert Mao blazing at the FDC, when his Democratic Party (DP) is split between the “Good DP” and “Bad DP”. Who knows what Asuman Basalirwa (Justice Forum) was up to really, other than switching sides from People Power to align himself with the NRM.
The only one earing on this affair is the National Resistance Movement and the President himself. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who got them on a string. He got most of the opposition at his bay and playing by his rules, without giving away anything. That is the reality of yesterday. There was nothing given by the NRM.
He held a meeting, hold a Presser and spoke about his vision as he usually does without an proper outcome. That is how empty the affair was, that is why the NRM and his minions are attacking the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) for not attending. What was it to attend? To show loyalty to Bosco? To show that he matters and rules supreme. Because he has no plan of stopping to rule.
I find it amusing that the talk of the town is that FDC didn’t show up. Since that shows the weakness of the process, of the delivery and of the platform created by this Summit. If the summit had mattered, if it had any consequences or any sort of result. They would have shown that, that would have been manifested. Instead, they doing the opposite. Blaming the fella that stood them up. Because he knew this was fake dialogue and knew there was nothing real to talk about. As proven with the insults and statements thrown that way.
Why was there none about the Farmers Party, People’s Progressive Party, Conservative Party, Uganda Federal Alliance or the People’s Development Party, because none of them was attending or said to show up with delegates? Is it because they are irrelevant at this point? One Man shows with no standing?
Because they bitch about the FDC, but doesn’t comment about the five parties also missing at the Summit. They gathered the big-shots, but the biggest opposition didn’t show. As there was no reasons to be there and that is now proven.
Time for the Movement to reconnect and digress their deceptions. It is time for the public to open their minds and asks questions. Because they have been, spoon-feed by the NRM. They continue to that, but the Movement are not proving anything. Especially, this IPOD Summit is a proof of that. Since they cannot even show a Joint Declaration or a MoU of some kind. Because there were none in the first place. Peace.

Since 15th August 2018 Arua By-Election there been in the works a Treason Charge against the Members of Parliament who participated in the campaign there. This has been the reality since the By-Election, where plenty of the MPs was held incommunicado and were tortured by the authorities. That is why today, the proof of how long the prolonged the case has been already.
We are now in the beginning of December. Today is the 3rd December 2018 and the Gulu Magistrate Court ajourned until 10th January 2018. This one started already after being put on bail on the 27th August 2018, that was nearly 13 days without proper justice or rule of law. As the MPs and the other connected to the campaign was in legal limbo. Therefore, today is another day of disgrace from the state.
That Robert Kyagulanyi Aka Bobi Wine, Gerald Karuhanga, Paul Mwiru, Kassiano Wadri and Francis Zaake are the MPs who are in trouble together with the other Arua 33, who deserves to be credited. As they are connected and linked into the Treason Charge case and possible violence against the Presidential Convoy. However, there are no case against the ones killing the driver of Bobi Wine, Yasin Kawuma. Who had deserved justice, as he was shot directly in the car of Bobi Wine. As the MPs and others was captured by the Presidential Guards or Military Officers in Arua.
Therefore, today is mockery of justice, as we know the story has changed by the President. The Arua Stone and all the supposed violence. Where the ones most hurt and obviously hit was the opposition. The same opposition who are lingering in court long after the By-Election. This is a sign of how the state takes care of its own and who has value. As the state didn’t take the loss of the Yellow MP Seat in Arua Muncipality, where Hon. Ibrahim Abiriga was from and he was assassinated on the 8th June 2018. Therefore, if it wasn’t for an unfortunate death, there wouldn’t be more hurt. The spiral of death didn’t stop. After that it has been torture and people have been damaged. Just because they stood up to the authorities. That is the truth.
With all this in mind, that the Police say they need more time to collect evidence is for stalling time. If this was true, then they wouldn’t have thrown away the gun-charges and the ammunition they “found” in the Hotel and put on Bobi Wine. Because everyone knew they were put there by the army, as it was monopolized arms and guns of the UPDF. That is why that one was taken away. The rest is only political game with the misuse of the courts to benefit the government. As a time shedding environment and ensuring it is harder for the opposition to do their political work.
This is far from the final time these people are summoned and has trials at the Gulu Magistrate Court. They will be called back, not only in January but all through out 2019. It might be pushed into 2020 or even 2021. Because the NRM and President Museveni usually gifts the long-lasting cases to Opposition leaders.
So, expect that in the case of Bobi Wine and Arua 33. They are all going to be in a treadmill of legal jeopardy. Peace.
