Opinion: If these elections are rigged in favor of Kenyatta; do the Kenyans care?

I start to wonder if the Kenyan people care or they are fatigued by the leadership, who are used to get away with grand-corruption and excessive use of the state. It seems like the Jubilee Alliance Party, the President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto can do as they please. It does not matter if the signs are there.

It doesn’t matter if the few uploaded Declaration Forms 34(b) are signed by 3 Jubilee Party Agents, and none from the others. That the verified results differs from many Declaration Forms, that it was texts and nearly looking like bots that made the difference between Kenyatta and Odinga. Well, it is just the same-old, same-old. More drama, just another day, more crying foul from the opposition and the government getting away it.

There been reveled manners of forms, which differs from the results on many polling stations. In addition, the vast numbers of ballots that has been discarded or taken as wrong, these been enough to many constituencies, but no one questions that. They just accept it and take it, that the Kenyans are lacking the civil education to know how to pinpoint the one candidate they prefer.

What others find on the IEBC page about the Declaration Forms as well, is that they are not properly stamped, not followed procedure of fellow opposition signatures or party agents others than Jubilee. It makes it suspicious. Not that we wish ill intent and wants to question the elections, but the patterns are not solid in the aftermath. The records and the paper trail is not solid as it could be.

If Kenyatta wants to be announced the winner this way, then he likes to cheat and be a cheater. He doesn’t like to be legitimate and righteous. Not that Odinga had enough support, it would be narrow, but the questions, will always remain, we’re these elections and counting true? Was this incumbent the true victor?

Do Kenyatta want all this uncertainties, living on borrowed fake paperwork and technical duplications to make sure his reign continues? Is that the man and the proud politician lives by? Is that why he could say to so many groups of people that he did not need their votes? Because well, he could rig it in his favor anyway?

Finally, when we cannot trust the portal and the results there for the Presidential elections, what about the rest, are these verified or just done by Gods good grace and mercy?

Peace.

Opinion: The arrogance of Jubilee towards the NASA questioning the Presidential Results is something else!

No matter what sort of result this election would have, it would be contested and questioned. Which, is natural because the election is between such coalitions who has known each other for decades and follow family dynasties. The Kenyatta’s and Odinga’s done so for generations. Therefore, the Kenyan election was expected to be so. Especially considering the extra-judicial killings before the polls and the questionable ICT expertise and results testing before the polls.

So the Jubilee Party should understand the NASA position after the polls:

Tuju was responding to an announcement by NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga, who has rejected provisional results by the electoral commission terming them “fake and fictitious”. “We want people to look at the figures soberly. These results are not coming from out of the blue. They are backed by facts,” Tuju said. “You cannot claim that results are fake with respect to presidential vote and you welcome the areas where your Governors and MPs have won convincingly. You have to accept the results however they come,” he stated” (…) “All the form 34As, what we have is what NASA has, what IEBC has, what is coming out of the polling stations and the constituency centres must be the same and if there is any conflict that would be a recipe for chaos. So we would like to appeal to our opponents that they should be exercise restraint,” he said” (Ndonga, 2017).

I can understand the NASA statement and their understanding of the figures delivered from the IEBC. They are too perfect synchronized and following a similar line of voters like in 2013. The same way Uhuru Kenyatta won then. Therefore, the IEBC has some dire issues and trust issues that flares up. The death of ICT Manager Chris Msando and his logging-in on the Polling Day to the system. Is not building the trust. There are some problems and some setbacks. As well, as the sudden stop of delivering of results during the evening last evening.

There are enough questionable acts, together with lack of transparency, lack of use of the Declaration Forms and the double of dose as well. Together with the SQL Protocol the NASA Team got a hunch of. All of this adds-up to questionable acts and problematic questions of counting of the votes.

For all we can guess now, since the results on the Portal isn’t from all the Declaration Forms of 34(b), they could be from text messages fitting the program of the Jubilee party and their well-wishers. The trust of this is lacking, even if John Kerry smooches with the people at Bomas. There, are enough questions remaining and it isn’t just poppy-talk. It is serious and important, that the ballots are respected, as that is the real will of citizens. Not the will Kenyatta and Ruto. Certainly, this seems to less important at this point.

I will always worry when the results streamlined on the portal is to perfect in line and without any real ups and down among the candidates. The uploaded are to in sync, like line-dancers and preforming in way that seems to be already put in place. So that Jubilee comes out with this statement, proves their arrogance, because they should look into all the questionable acts towards the Declaration Forms and the way the uploaded results are delivered.

Do the Jubilee want to win with a cheat or win with fair tally? Seems like cheating is the way of WINNING. That is darn sad way of entering into office as incumbent, because deep in your heart, you know you wasn’t righteous to be the Executive and the President of the Republic. Peace.

Opinion: Was the IEBC Portal hacked?

Well, the National Super Alliance (NASA) and their Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga claims the IEBC Digital Counting and Results Portal has been hacked. This after the results has followed like bots friendly for the Jubilee candidate and incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta. This can now be shown by the documents leaked online. I will just show a sample of the 50 page dossier delivered online through Scribd.

Which even says the Chairman’s Chebukati profil was failing and used the wrong password. That must be bad to get the whole world to see, when in the midst of clearing the winds of possible technical breaches to your system. Your own user and your own profile was typed wrong by the Core Server Logs, that has been unleashed to the media. Wafula Chebukati has some explaining to do. Together with the possible bots. Delivering the results that isn’t verified on their portal complying with the law of following the Declaration Forms. This sort of charade is sad, when the elections been so peaceful and such a good display. Even with the concerning extra-judicial killings in the weeks before the polls. Peace.

Opinion: Starting to question the verified results of IEBC!

There are now clear problems since the results from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, who had a serious hitch last night. When the Bomas was closed-off from the journalists. This was reported that the National Talley Centre sent the journalists packing. This after a few updates of the results up to about 30% of the votes. When the Jubilee and President Uhuru Kenyatta had been leading with 300,000 votes.

Now the hours are going, and there was already yesterday differences between certain Presidential Declaration Forms 34(b) and what was on the IEBC Portal. That leaves the problems of trusting the verified results from the Electoral Commission. It is not because we don’t want to faith in the KIEMS and BVRs, that even broke down at many Polling Stations. So the results are in favor of Kenyatta right now, and not for National Super Alliance (NASA) and Raila Odinga.

It is hard to start trusting IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati, when he during the Press Conference today, after releasing and verifying 75% of the votes on their portal says: “The results on screen are not final results; final will come from forms in the 290 constituencies”. So if that is so, then the results released from yesterday is fake and a bot delivering the news that Kenyatta wants?

Musalia Mudavadi the day before sent a stern warning about possible rigging and now in the dawn after the polls, it seems true. As the questionable forms and the different results on the portal compared to many declarations forms. If the declaration forms are vital for a polling station, than they should be released together with the photocopy of the 34(a) or (b), since this is vital to trust the results verified election results.

So we cannot trust the portal, since even the IEBC boss Chebukati says so. We can just wait and wonder what will be real result out of Bomas. The IEBC most work in haste and in worry at the National Talley Centre, since they are at this limbo. They are not updating and the ones that has been updated cannot be trusted. It is not a sign of trust. Because the election has been peaceful and not any sort of demonstrations. The Kenyan public have done their civic duty in peace.

What is worrying if the rigging and the IEBC will work in favor of the ruling party Jubilee and not for the possible public will of the NASA. This will be sad and insane, that the hours are ticking and the IEBC is not acting trustworthy. We wonder if the results and verification would been different if IEBC ICT Manager Chis Msando was still breathing. But that is just allegations and conspiracy at this point.

We just have to wait and see, it is natural to be skeptical to the IEBC… especially when they are doing this and 24 hours after the polls. They should have just waited to offer and verify the Declaration Forms, instead of dropping bots numbers. Peace.
