Politisk Reklame: SMSer er som Uadressert Reklame, kontroversielt javel, men lovlig!

Idag har Arbeiderpartiet sendt ut 500,000 SMS med beskjed at om man ønsker deres stemmer i valget. Dette har andre partier gjort før. Det er lovlig, men ikke like populært. Like populært som at man legger valgkamp materiell og brosjyrer i postkassene, når de er merket mot all reklame. «Nei takk, til uadressert reklame». Likvel, i følge våre lover og regler så har partiene lov til dette.

For å sette dette i historisk perspektiv så har Fremskrittspartiet gjort det samme:

«Vi har gjort en avtale med katalogselskapet Eniro, og det er de som har solgt oss denne tjenesten, sier Hanssen. De mange førstegangsvelgerne som i dag har mottatt SMS, har gjort dette fordi FrP har kjøpt lister fra Eniro, rettere sagt fra Inform, som er et datterselskap av Eniro. Inform som lever av å selge adresser og kontaktinformasjon, har solgt dette til FrP, og så har de brukt dette videre. Så vidt meg bekjent er det ikke vi som har sendt ut SMS, og vi er nøye med å følge de lover og regler som gjelder her, sier Bård Hammervold i Eniro til DinSide» (Pickard, 2009).

Sånn at når Arbeiderpartiet gjør dette i dag:

«En SMS ble sendt direkte til velgere søndag formiddag med følgende budskap “Hei. Stortingsvalget blir jevnt. Du avgjør om Frp og Høyre fortsetter i regjering. Vil du ha et skifte? Skole og eldre fremfor skattekutt? Stem Arbeiderpartiet!”. Arbeiderpartiet ønsker å nå bredt ut med vår politikk og mobilisere flest mulig til å stemme. I tillegg til markedsføring gjennom annonser og materiell har vi sendt ut brev og SMS direkte til velgergrupper. Kontaktopplysningene er fra Iper Konsumet, som er et register over norske konsumenter. Kontaktinformasjonen er leid for en gangs bruk. Politiske organisasjoner er ikke pliktige til å følge reservasjon mot direkte reklame» (Arbeiderpartiet, 2017)

Slik at både FrP og AP har brukt samme trikset i samme tidsperiode av valgkampen. De har sendt ut SMS med budskap om at man bør stemme på deres parti. Dette kommer rett i lommen på de lister og selskaps telefonlister som de har tilgang på. FrP brukte Eniro og AP bruke Iper Konsument. Begge er like irriterende. Like irriterende som at man kommer på dører, at det legges i postkasser og at det gis på trikken, bussholdeplassen og torv. Hvis du først ikke liker politisk agenda eller parti, så blir det provoserende. Det skjønner jeg, samtidig, ville du følt likt om det var ditt eget parti som sendte SMSer til deg?

Det er slik nå at partiene har lov til å delegere og etablere seg mer i den offentlige sfæren enn før. Dette fordi politisk reklame er helt greit, mens alkohol og tobakk er forbudt. Selv om vi vet hva vi får om vi kjøper Jack Daniels, Hansa Pils, Petterøs Blå eller General Snus. Vi vet hva vi får om vi kjøper dette eller reklameres får, men når vi ser smilene til Siv Jensen , Erna Solberg eller Jonas Gahr Støre på perrongen. Så kan de både selg fulg eller fisk. De kan selge fred eller krig. Ikke lett å vite av å kikke på plakater som er stylet og har et slagord. «Vi kommer i Fred», «Vi bygger verden», «Vi er imot skatter og avgifter» osv.

Derfor, skjønner jeg problematikken rundt SMSene, ikke at den er ny eller veldig kontrovesiell. Skjønner at folk ikke liker dette, like lite som uadressert reklame. Akkurat som en liker like dårlig at man får reklame midt under et ski-renn. Skjønner greia, men verden er full av reklame og politikerne vi har gitt seg selv rettigheter til å gjøre dette. Så lenge det ikke er lovstridig å stå på torv å gi ut valgkamp brosjyrer, sleppe disse i postkassene, fylle reklameplakatene på busser, rutebilstasjoner og ellers. Så vil også partier sende SMSer for å vinne noen flere velgere.

Akkurat som Høyre gjorde den ene dagen, gav en pose Solbær-toddy til forbipasserende når det regnet. I sammen klistred med valgkamp brosjyre. Samme som om man får en rose av AP. Dette er slik partiene driver og holder på. Akkurat som vi var små å raidet standene for å få drops fra de forskjellige partiene, der vi diskutere i flokk om KrF sine hadde bedre smak enn de som Venstre hadde. Slik er det bare og hører med valgkampen.

Selvfølgelig skulle registreringen i Brønnøysund gjeldt denne form for reklame. Slik at når du er registert skulle du være slettet fra lister. Men om man slår på TV så er det reklamer støtt og stadig. Samme form for budskap legges i postkassen. Den er i gatene og ved veiene. Dette fordi partiene har lov. Hvis vi vil ha slutt på dette, så må man få representantene til å stoppe dette. Slik de gjorde for Petterøs og Hansa. Som ikke lenger har reklame for tobakk eller øl. Bare alkoholfri øl er lovlig. Derfor er det mest Cola og Pepsi Max reklamer.

Hvis vi ikke vil ha det slik, så må det regelendring til, da vil dette bli ulovlig akkurat som andre former for reklame. Det er ikke lenge siden det var forbudt med politisk reklame. Dette ble åpnet for noen år siden og nå ser vi hva dører dette åpner. FrP har brukt denne i 2009, med blandede reaksjoner, det samme har nå AP. Med misnøye. Derfor, om vi ønsker andre former for kampanjer og annen form for politisk dialog og kampanjer. Så må vi ønske å forandre regelverket slik at Partiene ikke har lov. Enten så har alle lov, eller så har ingen.

Har også sett at Partiet De Kristne har sendt ut SMSer. Dette har ikke blitt tatt tak i, disse sendte til de «verdikonservative» i Norge. Jeg fikk selv en SMS fra Valg.no med dette budskapet den 6. September:

«Hei! Dette er en vennlig påminnelse om stortingsvalget 11. september. Demokratiet har bruk for din stemme, så husk å delta i valget! Hilsen valg.no» (Valg.no, 06.09.2017).

Slik at det er mange former og mange som bruker denne formen for å spre informasjon. Da må vi bare ta valg, vi må få representantene til å bestemme for oss og gjøre reelle beslutninger slik at slikt blir det slutt på. Det har vi gjort med andre ting, så hvorfor ikke dette også. Peace.

BTW: Jeg er ikke mot budskapet til AP idag, mer imot metoden, akkurat som jeg imot alle former for politisk reklame. Ser frem til busser og bussholdeplasser uten forfengelige politikere med slagord klistera over hele bybilde. Men det er bare meg.

Opinion: Trump has bankrupted the Secret Service because of his golfing and nepotism!

We know that President Donald J. Trump has taken nearly one-third of the term into vacations, weekend trips to Florida and other days outside the White House. When the President travels, this is costly and extra hours for the Secret Service. The Secret Service is obligated to be the security guards and have convoys securing the President and his family. With the Trump presidency, it has also been extra lounges at the Trump Tower, as the First Lady stayed there for months before leaving for D.C. Therefore, the expenses has grown with the extra traveling days, but also the rallies and all other activity the President has been up-to. Just take a look!

Secret Service Director Randolph “Tex” Alles, in an interview with USA TODAY, said more than 1,000 agents have already hit the federally mandated caps for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year” (…) “ Alles said the service is grappling with an unprecedented number of White House protectees. Under Trump, 42 people have protection, a number that includes 18 members of his family. That’s up from 31 during the Obama administration. Overwork and constant travel have also been driving a recent exodus from the Secret Service ranks, yet without congressional intervention to provide additional funding, Alles will not even be able to pay agents for the work they have already done. The compensation crunch is so serious that the director has begun discussions with key lawmakers to raise the combined salary and overtime cap for agents, from $160,000 per year to $187,000 for at least the duration of Trump’s first term” (Johnson, 2017).

So the Secret Service already are overworked as they have taken hours and trips with the President. That a 1000 agents already are over the mandated caps for salary and overtime. Shows how much the President are traveling and extra work that the agents has gotten by the actions of the President and his family. That the numbers has gone up from Obama, is also typical, since the family of the Trump needs security in New York and nepotism is rampant in the White House. This sends worrying signals of how little the Trump Administration and New York Gang cares about the budget, as long as they are living their lives.

That this arrogance and double moral is clear in this, as he claimed Obama traveled to much and was such a burden on the budgets as a President. It only tool 7 months before he cracked the budgets of the Secret Service, this from a government that plans to deplete many government subsidized programs to the poor, while expanding the army. The US government under Trump isn’t fiscal responsible or caring about the outcome. Since he in just such short time has spent enormous amounts of funds taking vacations and playing golf on his own estates. That has also added extra expenses to the Police Force and States, which he has visited. It isn’t only the Secret Service who has had to spend fortunes on Trump, but the state of Florida and New Jersey has had to get added funding for their ordinary work.

This proves the mockery of it all, as such a rich man likes this is living lavish on the state and also using the security operations in a way that it even breaking the bank and accounts for the Secret Service. The Secret Service are in August, but has not funds to pay for the extra services needed for the President until December. That is 4 months left of the year and already overspent. This is something the White House and the Capital Hill has to discuss, so that the state can continue to flood the extended fleet and need of agents around the President. The state cannot afford to go broke and not pay the security guards. Then, the state would see deserters without pay or resignations, as who wants to be working for a state; a state who doesn’t pay the salaries and the overtime. Peace.

President Trump’s ‘Real News’ is ready to Manufacture Consent and deliver Propaganda to the American Public!

There is time to take the Trump Administration seriously on how much they dislike the media and the stories written about the President and his pending cases. Therefore, he has now invented and started his own Trump Team TV, that is Web-Series that are actually filmed directly from New York and the Trump Tower. Clearly, the President is using the tools of propaganda to get his message out. This is official state TV. An we can already see the first B-Star TV-Personality joining Trump TV. They are clearly starting with once a week clips dropped on Facebook and on Twitter to the supporters of Trump. This will clearly escalate and also be a place for more questionable content.

Merriam Webster defines propaganda as: “the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person” and also “ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one’s cause or to damage an opposing cause; also: a public action having such an effect” (Merriam-Webster – ‘Definition of propaganda).

So now the President plans to use Facebook for his propaganda and his views in his own way. Without any hesitation or without any problems. This is state TV for his own cause and his own mission. To show his brilliance, instead of his lacking results and his ability to grasp Washington, while he also has a Russian Investigation that is spreading legs. This is clearly in mission to stop and shift the discussion. Where his daughter-in-law Laura Trump and now former CNN commentator are now in-charge off.

The Hollywood reported had to say this about it: “On Sunday, President Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, kicked off what The Hollywood Reporter has learned will be a recurring feature: a video segment posted on the president’s Facebook page that aims to present “real news” about what the administration is up to. “I bet you haven’t heard about all the accomplishments the president had this week, because there’s so much fake news out there,” Lara Trump says in introducing the video. “We wanted to give you a glimpse into his week.” In a statement to THR, Trump explained the thinking behind the weekly segments, which she said are emblematic of the president’s strategy of using social media to “speak directly to the American people” and bypass “the biased filter of the mainstream media.” (Barr, 2017).

First official TV commentator to joint Trump TV:

A day after Kayleigh McEnany announced she left CNN, she showed up as the centerpiece of a video clip posted by President Trump’s campaign team. McEnany, a pro-Trump conservative pundit who appeared on CNN throughout the campaign season, announced via Twitter Saturday that she was leaving the network. She said to “stay tuned” for details about her next career move” (…) “The clips have a format reminiscent of traditional news networks: The host appears on a screen in front of a graphic background. In this case, that background is a smattering of Trump, Trump/Pence and DonaldJTrump.com logos. Elected officials using websites and social media platforms to promote their achievements is standard procedure these days, but the “real news” series appears to go further, seeking to discredit the mainstream media and advertising what purports to be a reliable alternative” (Whattles, 2017).

So the “Real News” out of Trump Tower follows a special kind of ways of producing news, that is made directly and fitting the program of the President. It is his mind and his sort of ideas, what his men and his associates see what he does. Even if he is golfing all week, they will still claim the rates of the Dow Jones and the unemployment record of the month, even if it Elon Musk hired most of it to his promising industrial business. But Trump would take the Triumph!

It seems like Team Trump has now plans of using these tricks in their ways to sway public opinion:

Using combinations of people’s interests, demographics, and survey data it’s possible to direct campaigns at individuals based on their agreement with ideas and policies. This could have a big impact on the success of campaigns. “The weaponised, artificially intelligent propaganda machine is effective. You don’t need to move people’s political dials by much to influence an election, just a couple of percentage points to the left or right,” says Chris Sumner at the Online Privacy Foundation, who is presenting the work this week at DEF CON in Las Vegas” (…) “Next, by administering various personality tests to a different group they found traits that correlate with how likely you are to agree with that statement on internet privacy. This was converted into an “authoritarianism” score: if you scored high you were more likely to agree with the statement. Then, using a tool called PreferenceTool, built by researchers at the University of Cambridge, they were able to reverse engineer what sort of Facebook interests and demographics people with those personalities were most likely to have. Just 38 per cent of a random selection of people on Facebook agreed with the privacy statement but this shot up to 61 per cent when the tool was used to target people deemed more likely to agree, and down to 25 per cent for those who they deemed more likely to disagree. In other words, they were able to demonstrate that it is possible to target people on Facebook based on a political opinion” (Revell, 2017).

So it might be the people behind the Team Trump who is using these techniques combined with the new Channel to enforce there beliefs and agenda to the Social Media. Not that it is sticking and has been mocked right now. But things begin in the small, before it blows out of proportions. Know that it now look like low-budget no-show. However, with time the messages will be darker and the rhetoric will be pushing to the extreme. As the possible investigation will strike where it hurts the most for the President.

That is why this is happening, since mainstream media, New York Times and Washington Post are explaining the leaks and verifying their sources, Laura Trump and Kayleigh McEnany will speak the message of Trump. The message of the belief and needed faith of the moment of the President. This will be propaganda and will be manufacturing consent. Chomsky states: “ Manufacturing consent is related to the understanding that indoctrination is the essence of propaganda. In a “democratic” society indoctrination occurs when the techniques of control of a propaganda model are imposed — which means imposing Necessary Illusions” (…) “Chomsky’s concept of NECESSARY ILLUSIONS is linked to power elites dominating how life happens, with part of the population — about 20% who make up the political class and are expected to participate as cultural managers in a limited fashion — are indoctrinated, and most people — the other 80% of the population — are marginalized, diverted from political awareness and participation in self-governing, and reduced to apathy so they don’t vote or take charge. Media are a tool of society’s power elites and owned and controlled by them and are used to impose those iIllusions that are Necessary to keep people diverted from the political process” (Chomsky, 2017).

So the Team Trump will work like crazy to create necessary illusions to its people, so they believe that Trump works for them. So he can manufacture consent and get more people on the Trump train, even as the investigation will leak more damaging evidence and the unclear business practices of the Trump Organization. Peace.

Ofwono Opondo the executive director of Uganda Media Centre; claims that the FDC and the media tells lies and propaganda against the NRM; I am claiming Opondo has lost the plot

I do not feel like dropping the Uganda Media Centre Press Release freely to world without criticizing for it missing facts and show the fiction of the ruling party, which means the NRM who surely does whatever it can to look beautiful; while the truth is something else. That they the NRM claim that everybody else putting up the ANTI towards the polls; as they have done with vicious attacks if they don’t get rule again. So again the non-sense is so far-fetched that this was too easy to not demolish for me, I will not take every piece of the Press Release, because hey! It is not worth that time to write it. Opondo can’t use that long time writing before publishing it, my evidence is: “Civil Society Organisations (SCOs)” (Opondo, 2016). Let’s go!

Meddling from Embassies in Politics:

“Government does not therefore expect particularly members of the diplomatic missions here to unduly meddle in our internal politics and elections as some of them are already doing. Government takes strong exception to meddling and would like to caution those doing so to desist forthwith, and in case there are matters of concern they should be addressed through the appropriate diplomatic channels. Uganda seeks mutual respect to its sovereignty in accordance with international laws, norms and practices” (Opondo, 2016).

This here is an answer to the polls that was showing favorable and giant lead to Dr. Kizza Besigye and the FDC over President Museveni and the NRM. This is intended to deflect the actual factual one they had and released in the end of January 2016. Here is the basics of it:

“Communications Department of the American Embassy in Kampala has conducted an intelligence poll and it suggested that: Museveni is at 30%, Besigye at 53.6% and Mbabazi 15 %”. There are other candidates, but there is not much left for the 5 other candidates. Just saying…

This is the one thing that Opondo and the Government of Uganda, alas NRM don’t want to see, as this destroys the picturesque polls that they posted in New Vision with 71%. As they have done in both 2016 and 2011, about the same time (before the election) with the same number and lead for the NRM. So the diplomatic missions should just focus on giving government aid and government funds that the NRM-Regime can embezzle. He is not saying that, but that is what he means.

Governmental issues with the FDC:

“The repeated incidents of violent friction particularly by the supporters of Dr Kizza Besigye targeting the police including physical assault on law enforcement personnel must be condemned and discouraged. The police deserve respect by all in order for them to work effectively and efficiently in protecting the general public. While the public has generally shunned recruitment into political quasi militias, some opposition groups continue to mobilize under the pseudo noum of Power Ten (P10) mainly in Kampala, Wakiso and parts of Mukono districts” (Opondo, 2016).

This here is straight forward attack on a Presidential Candidate and his campaign. As they use the necessity of security forces and police as a token of self-defense, as they goes aggressive against the campaign rallies of the FDC. There been seen so much Anti-Riot Police following the campaign trail of the FDC, as there been DPC in cell-phone conversation at campaign rallies as frequent as Liam Neeson in Taken. The way the Police is harassing the opposition and keeps blocking and stop also media houses as the opposition steps into them; proves the problem is not FDC, but the NRM-Regime who is not fully-fledge democratic, yet! They claim about the P10 who is made up to show accountability and stay behind after the vote is cast and generate local participation from the grassroots-level, as did the Resistance Councils back in the day! But Opondo has forgotten that piece of history hasn’t he? Secondly the P10 is nothing compared to military formation of Crime Preventers as they have trainings with sticks, while the P10 is a little organization who works for securing votes and participation towards the FDC. As a democratic party does during pre-election times, but why is this wrong Hon. Opondo?  Is it because it not your beloved party NRM and for Mzee? As everything is supposed to circle around?

Army and Police men not allowed to Campaign:

“Government is following and investigating reports that appear to link Gen. David Sejusa aka Tinyefuza to some of these groups, and if found to be true appropriate actions will certainly be taken to curtail and neutralise his activities. As the law is currently, no serving police, prisons or army personnel whatever the rank can be a member of a political party, an election campaign task force, support candidates, be a campaign agent, or speak publicly on partisan political issues. The only role serving officers have is law enforcement when called upon, and to cast their votes in secret as the law provides for all registered voters” (Opondo, 2016).

Gen Tukumunde Entebbe Dec 2015 - Money Man for NRM

The arrest is done as the general has questioned the regimes premise and coming rigging as there are things to question in that manner. As Gen. Sejusa is not allowed to be political involvement the Gen. Kale Kayihura of the Police was even on the Second Delegates Conference of the NRM to assert Mzee for another term as sole candidate in the NRM. But that is not an issue for Opondo, because Kayihura support the right party. Lieutenant General Henry Tukumunde aka “The Money Man” is directly involved in the NRM campaign team and that is also a no-issue. You have Brigadier Elly Kayanja who campaigns directly for NRM, but that is a no-go. So why is okay for all this men to be part of NRM, while Gen. Sejusa questions the NRM-Regime, he gets Makindye Military Barracks yesterday! So Opondo, please explain the inaccuracy in your flawed logic of why Gen. Sejusa can’t campaign, while all this other persons can walk freely and do what they want?

This here is the last quote I care about quoting and address, the supposed evil intent of FDC and other fractions of society to make a rebellion towards the government if the result of the election does not goes their way, sounds like some the fantasy Narnia-land and soon making Uganda until Mordor instead of the Shia it is before the election. As the detaining of more and more political active persons either opposition candidates or affiliated to an opposition candidate like the driver of Dr. Kizza Beisgye, Norbert Mao and so on. But let me go to the last quote worth commenting to.

Propaganda against Mzee:

“There is an on-going drive to intensify negative propaganda against President Yoweri Museveni, senior government and security officers. Part of this plan is already evident in sections of the media deliberately distorting or quoting out of context public statements issued by government officials with the view to cast government in negative light and cause public disaffection” (Opondo, 2016).

I must be one of the men who has intensified propaganda against Mzee and his loyal cronies. Well, IGP Kayihura and NRM SG Lumumba promised arms to Crime Preventers go against opposition if they won the election, Lumumba actually said she would get the regime to shoot and kill civilians, and last but not least NRM Chairman of Masaka Katumba promising violence if they lose power. This is paraphrasing the manner, since I written about it before, and don’t need to address that again. That Opondo talks about context and calls the questioning of it “cause public disaffection”. The disaffection is caused by the utter violence the NRM men are spreading to the public as even their master in Mityana! Where he promised that he would take his life and his supporters would do the same if the Electoral Commission let Dr. Kizza Besigye become the President. This tells of the violence and fear that the NRM is spreading. They are the ones causing this, it is not the media who asks and getting this people to talk in this manner and address the world in this spirit. It is themselves and later the media who gives the reason and music to it, as a way of making sense of the message the NRM and Mzee is sending in the final stages.

The level of fear and spreading fear as the ending of the press release is sending is massive and outrages. This is just in token of the NRM-O for the moment. They can’t breathe on other things than spreading fear to keep power. Not that they have actually achieved anything in their 30 year reign in the Country! The riches of the spoils has gone to cronies and not it’s people. It is far from the Shia or the Rivendell, instead it is closer to the Mordor as the NRM-Regime is saying it will become right around elections and post-elections when all ordinary government facilities will be under siege; as the on-authorized militias will go against the result, as the NRM does not do anything wrong or say nothing wrong, that is the place of the opposition to do. But that is just my assessment as the brilliant Ofwono Opondo states today in the Uganda Media Centre Press Release. That I have discussed! Though Opondo’s flawed mind is to be a loyal mouthpiece of Museveni. As this is was released in the Media House payed by government funding under the Office of the President. So this can only see as biased lovely propaganda, as the ones he claimed the opposition was printing and describing as they take words out of context. But the NRM just print the picture who make them look perfect, that is why they have banned NTV from their campaign as they did not follow the guidelines of the regime anymore. “26th January has for long been a contentious day especially within sections of the opposition who claim that NRA’s assent to power in 1986 following five years of guerilla warfare against a legitimate government cannot be labeled as Liberation Day for the country.  Within the ruling party itself, the last decade has seen many voices depart from the near religious attachment to the struggle to a more liberal stance seemingly cognizant of the socio-political and economic aspirations of the time.  Capt. Francis Babu is a longtime NRM diehard but as you’ll hear in the following report, the veteran politician says 30 years is too long for an individual but a drop in the Ocean for a country.

Politisk reklame – Villedende uttalelser for politiske partier i feil format.

Så den andre dagen en FRP reklame i Dagsavisen eller Dagbladet. Der de lovte “ingen eiendomsskatt” i Oslo. I en rød farge og med slagordet “for folk flest” i nedre høyre hjørnet. Jeg skal ikke diskutere denne reklamen. Denne er bare et eksempel. Først skal jeg bare redegjøre for hva en reklame er for noe. Deretter vise til markedsføringslovens og det som kalles “villedende utelatelser” før jeg sier min mening om Politisk reklamer.

“Reklame, enhver betalt og kommersielt motivert kommunikasjon av budskap om en idé, tjeneste eller produkt, fra en identifiserbar avsender i den hensikt å vekke oppmerksomhet, skape interesse og informere” (…) “Det skilles mellom overtalende (persuasive) reklame og informativ reklame. Mens overtalende reklame gjerne tar i bruk dramatiserende grafiske virkemidler med sikte på å påvirke folks holdninger, kjennetegnes informativ reklame ved saklig og nøytral informasjon om produktet og dets egenskaper. Ofte kan det likevel være vanskelig å skille mellom informativ og påvirkende reklame. Selv der reklamebudskapet gir inntrykk av å være saklig og nøytralt, kan valg av ord, formuleringer og grafiske virkemidler gjøre at budskapet likevel får med seg en følelsesmessig appell som påvirker mottakerne” (SNL).

Lov om kontroll med markedsføring og avtalevilkår – også kalt markedsføringsloven.

Vil ha fokus på:

“§ 8.Villedende utelatelser” (…) ” En handelspraksis er villedende dersom den, i sin konkrete sammenheng og etter en helhetsvurdering, utelater eller skjuler vesentlige opplysninger som forbrukerne ut fra sammenhengen trenger for å kunne ta en informert økonomisk beslutning eller presenterer opplysningene på en uklar, uforståelig, tvetydig eller uhensiktsmessig måte. Ved vurderingen av om opplysninger er utelatt, skal tas i betraktning plass- eller tidsmessige begrensninger ved mediet som brukes til å formidle handelspraksisen, og eventuelle tiltak fra den næringsdrivende for å gjøre opplysningene tilgjengelige for forbrukerne på annen måte” (lovdata).

Jeg vet at det ikke er lenge siden loven for reklame fra partier kom i effekt. Det skal ikke denne artikkelen eller bloggen handle om. Den skal handle om hvordan sånne som meg opplever dem. Noen vil kalle meg politisk interessert. De som har lest mine tekster vet at jeg er det. Grunnen til jeg reagerer nå er fordi jeg aldri var for ideen om fri slipp av politisk reklame i Norge. Av den enkle grunnen – man koker ned politiske ideer og planer ned i små gimmicker og slagord. Som ikke vil være dekkende for samlende politikken. All politikk vil da bli populistisk. Fordi Den da skal fange interesse og være for en enkelt kampsak.

De er så billige slibrige annonser i aviser med glossy farge for å fange interesse. Politiske partier går på samme nivå som handelsstanden og de som ønsker økonomisk vinning. Politiske partier som vil ha plakater og annonser på samme nivå som L’oreal og Coca-Cola. At våres folkevalgte skal fange interesse i samme kompani som de som selger mango-sjampo og kullsyreholdig sukkervann. Å dette ønsket noen av partiene ved en viss tid tilbake.

Slik at de kunne få større plass i våres avis og ha reklamer på lokale tv-kanaler. Få større oppmerksomhet og få ut deres politiske slagverk til befolkningen. Det som gjør meg skeptisk og få dårlig magefølelse er hvordan man portrettere seg oftest. Når det blir plakater på siden av Statros reklamer på t-banen. Blir en del av byenes støy. Som man enten ser eller overser. Det samme skjer i aviser. Uansett hvilket parti og hvilket standpunkt man velger.

Det er for meg like kvalmende og ekkelt. Like populistisk og billig markedsføring av partiene. Det loves store ting. Eller ting som er vanskelig å oppnå. Samtidig ofte også enda vanskelig å se at de vil holde disse løftene i løpet av den neste perioden som det velges inn for. Derfor vil jeg bruke paragraf 8 i markedsføringsloven:

“En handelspraksis er villedende dersom den, i sin konkrete sammenheng og etter en helhetsvurdering, utelater eller skjuler vesentlige opplysninger som forbrukerne ut fra sammenhengen trenger for å kunne ta en informert økonomisk beslutning eller presenterer opplysningene på en uklar, uforståelig, tvetydig eller uhensiktsmessig måte”(lovdata).

Ofte er det en helhetsvurdering av annonsen eller plakat som ikke viser alle vesentlig opplysninger. Dessuten med politisk reklamer kan opplysningen være uklare for noen eller kommer fram på en hensiktsmessige måte. Noe som burde forstå. Når man kommer med påstander og løfter som er populistiske i reklame form. Burde man ha mulighet til å kunne klage til Forbrukerombudet.

Ikke bare at de selger skinnet før det skutt i de fleste tilfeller. Er noe annet med politiske stander og mennesker som er frivillige i partiene som deler ut valgmateriale med dypere deler av valgprogram og selve poliske ideologien til partiene. Dette gir velgerne eller forbrukerne når det kommer til reklame som gir mer grunnlag for å ta et godt valg av produkt/parti i dette tilfellet. Det skjer lett når man går etter annonser med enkle slagord og bilder som skal fange interesse. Dette vil forenkle og gjøre lette løfter salgbare til befolkningen. Enda lettere og forenklet enn de politisk aktive som gjør sin innsats i valgkampen for å få velgerne til å fatte interesse for partiet sitt.

Disse annonsene forteller ikke den historien som våres folkevalgte og partiene egentlig vil. De vil ikke dekke de poengene de egentlig ønsker. Fordi jeg tviler på at alle partiene vil være så tabloide og enkle. Så populistiske og triste. De er som jeg har skrevet kvalmende. Fordi de er ikke langt fra forklarende til å bli propaganda. Det er ikke langt fra å være en sukkersøt drøm til brolagte vei med gode intensjoner som ender i helvete.

Slik er det med politisk reklamer. Annonsene sender deg et speilbilde eller ønskedrøm som de vil vise. Samtidig vil de skape interesse og intensjon som skal få oss til å stemme på dem. Sånne som meg klarer ikke å fatte interesse for disse. De blir billige jippoer og slagord som ligner for mye på Lindex reklamer med Partifeller i pene kjoler og dresser som har Hollywood smil og kameraføring som virker råtten. Dette er uansett parti. Det gjelder også mitt eget parti.

Vi burde skamme oss. Alle burde skamme oss. Dette får ikke politikken til å se bra ut. Den er ekkel motbydelig og grotesk speilbilde som viser en slagside i en valgkamp som ikke har noen verdi. Man kan ikke klare å forklare deliberative, marxisme, sosialistiske eller liberale borgerlige ideer forståelig i et slikt format. Det kan bare være et svekket blikkfang som gjør at man husker partifargen til partiet og kanskje om man er heldig karakteren som smiler falskt for alle som går forbi. Om partiene er stolt av denne konstruksjonen og bruken av innsamlede midler og støtteordninger så burde det være 100 andre bedre måter å fatte sann interesse i valgkampen. Enn å gjøre dette. Å jeg forstår ikke hvorfor vi lot denne falske reklamen bli lovlig. Når man selger produkter/ideer som ofte ikke blir holdt eller er umulig å holde. Noe som bryter med Markedsføringsloven paragraf 8. Det er noe vi alle burde tenke på. Peace.
