Opinion: If Museveni could he would relaunch the Movement System

President Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Musveni never wanted the Multi-Party Elections and a Multi-Party System. The President would have preferred that everyone was under the Movement System. Where everyone is sensitised and getting their patriotic teaching through the party. The Movement would take care of you and ensure your on the right track.

That is what President Museveni really wants. He would like to swallow everyone and have them all under his banner. This is why there was a Referendum in 2000 and again in 2005. Therefore, the first Multi-Party Election was in 2006. That gave the National Resistance Movement (NRM) the advantages ahead of it, as they had total control since 1986. That is 20 years of solid foundation and having appointed people where they needed.

The Movement System was already embedded, it was even a part of the 1995 Constitution. The state was fixed with Resistance Councils, which initially was Local Councils and Local Government. It is from there the state was controlled and how the supposed NRM became a “mass party”. That’s because it had the power in every aspect and kept siege over the seats from the bottom to the top. A fancy way of being a “one-party state”.

That is why all parties that has challenged the President gotten into double jeopardy. The armed forces, the police force and everything else has been thrown at them. If this was Paul Ssemogerere, Kizza Besigye and now Robert Kyagulanyi. Everyone is feeling the blunt force and the retribution for challenging him.

In 2020 and 2021, we are repeating history yet again. The same forces are at use and the same means are taken against the opposition. The same is on the throne and he is not giving way. The President will use all means to stay there. Everything will go against the ones who goes against him. Either by the hook or by the crook. Nothing matters, as long as the ones challenging him is humiliated and hurt. They should go to him and kiss the ring.

President Museveni wants everyone under his wings. The man wants everyone to be on his beacon-call. The President wants to annihilate the opposition and get rid of all dissidents. He doesn’t want them, but got too. Just so he can score some brownie points and claim he brought democracy. Even, when it is not that deep, but only in the name.

If the President had his will. There wouldn’t be no Multi-Party Elections and be other parties than the Movement in the Republic. Because, everyone is supposed to follow him anyway. They are all wrong and deluded to stand up against him. These folks needs re-education and debriefed to understand the grandeur of the Movement. This is how it seems…

President Museveni wants to be the sole answer, the only leader and the kingpin. Museveni wants to be solution and have the automatically mandate to reign supreme. This is who he is. A President who only made it happen, because he was pushed and public wanted it.

The President would prefer to not only have the army, but have the whole public naturally assigned to the Movement. Without question and have them as “members” of his party. This is the sort of character he is. That is why nobody should challenge him, but people should just obey him. Peace.

Opinion: After the 27 guns his past became a mystery…

It is made like this for a reason. A man who has run a nation for 34 years and is a self-styled President for Life. That his willing to hide and bluntly classify his past. This being President Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni.

He has added another name, the President has added before the election before the Kaguta name. This time it was Tibuharburwa. However, his credentials and his academic documents is still under seal somewhere. If not it was burned in a fire, dodges in the midst of the bush-war or if not erased after he got into office.

The President might have erased the documents from the time he was a civil servant. The time he was in school in Ntare and so fourth. Because, he deleted and erased it. He could make up his own story. Make it into a myth. The story of a living legend. The President wants grandeur … and become legendary.

After the bush-war and the National Resistance Army (NRA) war against Obote and the others. The President sealed his fate and had to rewrite his life. So, that he could fit the paradigm of a Ugandan peasant turned into Head of State.

That is why he has added the name of the stepfather, Kaguta. Now, he has added the nickname he got from one of his grandmothers, Tibuhaburwa. It is all to play part of the fiction of his story. To ensure he can rewrite and make his life more interesting.

The President needs to do this, as he cannot unleash his documents. Then he would show a story, which he doesn’t want to tell. Maybe he learned this as a bureaucrat in the Research Bureau back-in-the-day.

As he knows, the story is more important than the truth. His been able to sell lies for years. The President hope he can do this again. The pieces he has given haven’t been coherent. It is all a fun tale of stories. The times and times of drops, it doesn’t make sense and he makes it seems so special. Alas, the stories from the people around sounds differently.

After the 27 guns, the man has changed and altered his story. This has all been a ploy with some sort of angle every single time. The action made in 2020 is for a reason too. His been pushed, but still haven’t delivered.

There must be a reason why its like this. The mustard seed isn’t growing and reaping good harvest. The President need more than a 10 pointer. The man needs to address it and heads on. He needs to reveal and put forward the truth.

It is like he has lived on a lie, thought he could get away it and not be undressed with time. The President thought he could dodge this.

Museveni have a story to tell, another one than the ones he did in the past. It is time for the real and not the propaganda. The man got to talk and be sincere. Not being a rich fresher affording a farm, which was new to him in the 1990s. Because, he wasn’t a fresher at the University in the 1990s, but he got into power in 1986.

So, the story there doesn’t make sense. This is why the old man with the hat got to stop lying and speak the truth. The President need to set the record straight. He might think its not important, but if he wants a proper legacy. It is needed, unless he wants lie until his six-feet under. Peace.

Muwanda & Co. Advocates: Press Statement (09.10.2020)

Opinion: Museveni has added an T!

It ain’t what they call you, it’s what you answer to.”W.C. Fields

On the 6th October 2020 the President has gotten his name gazetted. The change is with one name middle-name. His not officially Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, but is from now on Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni. This is a vital change, because the President needs to soon drop his academic credentials. These has to be altered and fixed. Therefore, the change of name is maybe his way of showing that he is “consistent” with his story. However, the man has changed back-and-fourth.

The newly added name is Tibuhaburwa, which means “Wisdom is inherent, born with” and was given to him by his grandmother Nyinancwende. That is a name he used in the past. This is maybe why he has re-issued it. As his name has to resonate with his credentials. Even if they are not released. Before, the President have ensured it fits his narrative.

So, the President have taken a nickname and made it his own. There is already speculation that his name before he became a rebel was Yoseri, but also Yoweri Kayibanda aka Rutabasirwa. Therefore, adding the Tibuhaburwa is more of a recognition of the part of his life his tried to hide.

The President for Life is really cornered, as the authorities are not delivering petitions of his academic credentials and the proof of eligibility as a Presidential Candidate. Which the authorities has no issues with doing with the other candidates.

That is why the changes of name now seems like a ploy to fit the paper-trail, which suddenly might be released. The sort of action made to validate and fit in with the paperwork. The paperwork that seems to never to be released.

It is sort of odd that he does it now. That the President changes his name 34 years into power. In the middle of the early campaigns for the 2021 elections. This shows that the challenge is bigger than before. That he has to answer the opposition in a fashion like this. It is done to prove himself.

However, adding a nickname is not the real him. He has added a nickname his grandmother gave him. A way of showing his greatness, as the meaning is so deep.

He is the Commander-in-Chief, the King of Kings and now born with Wisdom. The President wants to be everything.

Nevertheless, changing the name now. Only make him Mr. T, as a mockery like Bosco, Jajja and Mr. Sunday.

With the action made by the President. He only shows that he hasn’t been truthful about his origin and his family history. As he has to peel the onion, piece by piece. He needs to be challenged and put into a corner. So, that he cannot keep it a secret.

There been speculations going on for years. With this sort of change. It is verified that people are right and its righteous to question him. As he takes the name his grandmother gave him. What else has he hidden? What other skeletons does he has in his closet?

We don’t know, but at some point. He has to give way and give in. Peace.

Opinion: Museveni wants to be a legend

There are so many things unanswered with this man. A man who has ruled supreme since 1986. For some reasons, there are plenty of things who are hidden and kept away. Which makes people speculate and question.

The man I am questioning is President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. There must be a reason why his academic credentials isn’t released and why his other certificates are released for the grander public. As he should be able to prove what any other bloke or person has to do. If they want to run for office. He might think his special, but laws are made for everyone, which means they are valid for him as well.

I think that President Museveni wants to a be a legend. He wants to have a cult and myth around his origins. The man wants to make it special and be like the Gods. That is why his the King of Kings (Ssabagabe) of the Nkore or Ankole Kingdom.

It is a ego thing. Not that its strange he has an ego. This is why he went to war and claimed all the ill things about the 1980 election. Why he petitioned the polls and went to the bush. Because, he believed he was the only man with a vision. That he was so special and unique. He was the most brilliant and had the character to reign supreme.

In the same regard, he wants his roots to grand. The man wants to be from the best and make it look like that. Even if that isn’t true. He wants to be legendary. The President wants the public to know. That his majestic, the greatest and the father of the nation. Even when that isn’t the case.

Why do I say all of that? Well, it seems like he has made himself a moniker or a nickname like artists do. The paperwork that is in public has stated that he has other names than Museveni. Which means “Son of a man of the Seventh”. He took the middle name from his step-father Amos Kaguta. Therefore, his original names are vastly different and not as mystical.

Before he was Museveni he was Yoseri. To be more precise he was Yoseri Tubuhaburwa. Other names he has had was Yoweri Kayibanda aka Rutabasirwa. So, none of these names are as rare as Museveni.

The name change in combination with the change of birthdates and birthplace. Proves even more how he wants to be a legend. A man that cannot be traced and can re-create his origin. A man who can become whatever he feels like and entertain various of stories of his life. With that sort of play, he can be a king, instead of being a immigrant and a peasant. The man who came from poverty, became a man of Uganda Research Bureau, went to war and never returned.

That’s why his ego is like this. He wants to be extraordinary and exceptional. The President cannot be like a commoner. The man got to be out of the ordinary.

He can act like he is all of that, but that doesn’t make it more true. Just like he wants to be the King of Kings. The man above and the “high above”. The only man with a vision, which isn’t true either.

The delusion is real. The reality can hit someone right in the face. However, this man has been allowed to build this character and this life history. Even if there are no solid facts or truths to it. That is why his the son of seventh, instead of a Kayibanda. Maybe, he feels more significant with the name Museveni.

Still, the truth will come out one day. These sort of metamorphosis doesn’t last forever. Peace.

Opinion: Rwabwogo isn’t wrong… [about the NRM and Museveni]

The NRM party that I identify with, we are most likely building democracy around an individual. If you remove Museveni, NRM party will struggle”Sylvia Rwabwogo (Anthony Wesaka . ‘NRM party will struggle without Museveni, says MP Rwabwogo’ 30.09.2020).

That the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni are interconnected has been from the start. Just like the Uganda Patriotic Movement (UPM) was tied with Museveni. The NRM is the same…

There would be no NRM, if there was no Museveni and vice-versa. They are both connected. We all know this. The National Resistance Movement is his child, the political party made out of the National Resistance Army (NRA). This is all well-known.

The whole party is built around and his vision. The NRM is Museveni and Museveni is NRM. We are many who has said that. They are calling it a mass-party, the party of the public, but there is lack of membership cards and it’s just supposed to be all citizens are naturally members of the party. There is also this idea that you can scratch away the citizens who are members of opposition parties and equate the rest as NRM members. That shows how they are making the citizens members of the party.

Museveni has made it like this. That has been his idea. It is historical for him, as he ushered in the Movement System and reluctantly rectified the Multi-Party Democracy. Because, the NRM as it came into power. It wanted everyone to be under their organization and keep it under one house.

That was all part of Museveni’s vision. The NRM will loose steam the moment Museveni is gone. Just like Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) have lost their fire after the loss of Dr. Milton Obote. The same will happen to the NRM.

When your not building institutions, but is building on one personality. Than, you will loose it all when that personality is gone. The NRM will fade when Museveni goes. This is because it was all him.

Some will say this is hogwash, but we all know the gist. The NRM will start to battle over the throne. The NRM will face struggles and the NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) will fight for the Presidency. There will be fraction and the sides will take their turns. These will not easily give way, as the man who steered the ship has already left the party.

Museveni is the reason why people are there. He is making sure all of the people are eating out his hand and his feeding them. Museveni is the man, the legend and the hero of the party. The one everyone looks up to and praise. The President knows this and that is why his the sole candidate. The same are plenty of his loyal allies. They are supposed to be automatically supported, because he vouch for them.

This is why the NRM will loose its importance and vitality. The party will not be itself without its founder and visionary. Museveni is the foundation and when they take away that stone. It is bound to fail. It will be bickering and internal squabble, which will cost.

They will not be as strong, as the centre is lost. The one place to always pin and secure the party will not be there.

It was good to hear this from someone from the inside. As it validates what we critics been saying for years.

The day Museveni is gone, the day his not there, the NRM might be history. If not the NRM might end up as powerful and respected as UPC. That wouldn’t be shocking. When you build a party around one man. You can loose it all, when the one man isn’t there. This is why, good governance is to build institutions with procedures and not just follow one man blindly like the NRM has does. Peace.

Opinion: Are you ready for recycled pledges?

Warning

Warning

Warning.

The National Resistance Movement (NRM), the ruling regime and the party of government. Are rolling out in fashion. They will come with blazing statements, digital brigades and use all platforms for their causes. As they are going for another General Election in 2021. However, they are in the same space as before and there is not much more they can do.

The NRM and the President since 1986. Cannot continue to revise and reuse same pledges. They can talk about sensitizing the electorate. They can’t continue to say they promote anti-tribalism, when the President says certain institutions and parts of government shouldn’t be questioned. Like the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) can be filled with tribes of Western Uganda. Which isn’t shocking, neither is his top picks for ministries either.

The President and Party cannot profess to great riches or wealth creation. As they have to re-issue and re-use same strategy over- and over again. Which they have been doing for decades now. These sort of projects are short-term gains and patching of the wounds, but not systemic changes. Which implies more investment and also more policies to drive economic growth. Something, this government, this party haven’t favoured. They are instead using their time on the quickest scheme to get rich for the cronies and let everyone else fend for themselves.

This Party and President cannot speak well of industrial growth or infrastructure. Yes, they rebuilt a bridge, which they are so proud of. They have had road-projects, which is infused either by expensive loans or grants from Multi-National Organizations. These loans and such will be repaid. By that time, someone else has use funds to keep the upkeep of the same roads. That is why it isn’t a big deal, but more what a government should do.

They cannot speak well of the status of schools, educational institutions and such. As these have defaulted, lacked investment and not done due diligence. The ones who are not funded by MPs or elite is depleted. They cannot even afford lightbulbs and teachers salaries. As the teachers are having side-gigs to survive up-country. Because, the salaries are so late and they are not taken care off. These are the ones that is educating the future of the Republic and they are forgotten.

The hospitals are lacking, the health-centres doesn’t have equipment. Even some doesn’t even have money to pay the bills for electricity for months. The nurses are not equipped and the doctors doesn’t have the tools. This was an issue before the pandemic, but haven’t become better after that. The state is busy buying cars and pick-ups, but not picking up medical equipment or PPE. They are using it on the RDCs and Village Chiefs. Because, these pick-ups is saving lives.

This is just a few of the issues at hand. The NRM will pledge, recycle old ones. They will come with funding. They will revive the old Universal Primary Education. The NRM will finalize the 10 Point Programme. Lira district will become the next Metropolis and so fourth. That is what they do in the election cycle. They will say the schools, the roads and the hospitals will be bang on. But with time, they have not invested or used time on it. From a government who has had the chance for over 3 decades to fix it.

If someone had the time and opportunity it was Museveni. The whole regime has had the time and even had the goodwill of the donors to adjust the situation. They could have made strides and made significant changes. Alas, that wasn’t their deal. Their deal was to get-rich by being in office. If they cared, it would have been done.

So, don’t eat out of their hands. They have said it all before and it will not change tomorrow. Peace.

Opinion: It shouldn’t be this hard to make Museveni’s credentials public

It was the other day, when Lawyer Male Mabirizi petitioned and got the academic papers of the Presidential Candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine. In a heartbeat, the various parts of government scrambled the documents and delivered those to the lawyer. That happen without any hesitation. It was all released for the world to see.

While in Mid-August 2020 another lawyer Muwanda Nkunyingi petitioned the same authorities for the academic credentials of the President. The incumbent, the man of 1986 and beyond. This lawyer was asking for the documents produced for the General Election 2016. However, by the time of early September, the 3rd to be exact. The Electoral Commission only took a few words and sentences from the Election Petition of Amama Mbabazi No.1 of 2018 in the Supreme Court. That is all the public gets.

The President haven’t dropped the gems from the University of Dar Es Salaam or Ntare School, which he has often mentioned several of times. Still, the man who worked in the Research Bureau at one point should have documents and be able to prove his credentials. That shouldn’t be a toxic question and impossible. Unless, he has buried it, because it makes him look weak and not as intellectual as he wishes to be. The President always want to be right and be the teacher. Maybe, his just a KRS-ONE, instead of a Professor X. Who knows, right?

We are now over the middle of September 2020. This means it has gone close to a 1,5 month since the lawyer petitioned the Electoral Commission. The Electoral Commission answered a few weeks later and the letter from the 3rd September leaked today to the public on the 21st September. This means, the EC and the authorities have no plan of making them public. Like they do with the other opposition candidates.

If they could just use a minute to release the Bobi Wine credentials. It should be super easy to have the man who has stood for elections and had to be verified every 5 years. They should have copies upon copies in their achieves. There should be documents and credentials going back to 1996 or 2001. The President should have certified copies there.

Unless, he has dropped all those, because he wants to bury his past. Trying to make himself legendary by digging all his past into the ground. If not ensuring the institutions he went to deleted his and burned his past work. God knows right?

For a man that has ruled since 1986. It is weird that this is so hard to get a copy. That the Electoral Commission and the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) isn’t able to produce more than a fragment of a court order from 2018. That is like dropping nothing and intending to not release it. Because, the authorities and the state are wavy about how the public will react when they see the real deal.

The President wants to be a man of wisdom, but these sort of actions isn’t wise. It only proves that his hiding something. That he has some skeletons in his closet. If it was nothing… then it would have been released yesterday. Just like all the letters where the President micro-manage and directs others to do his bidding.

It is not a sign of strength, but a sign of weakness when your hiding this. The public deserves better, but the man of the ages is afraid of releasing this. It might show he sucked in in the sciences or had to retake a class. Maybe he never finished the studies in Tanzania? Who knows?

But… something is up. We just don’t know what. Peace.

Mzee is educating about the elements now… [water for now]

“Tryna stay above water, that’s why we shun the navy”Kendrick Lamar on ‘HiiiPower’ of Section80 (2011).

The Self-Styled President for Life, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni today dropped a small lesson on water. One of the 4 Classical Elements. In the next up-coming editions, he might tell about the earth, the wind (air) and the fire. He called today’s piece “Know Your Country”.

Alas, he drops more gems about his own life and family, as that is the knowledge you need to know. Also, to know that the old man has bought more land. As the rich head-of-state never seems to neglect his estates or his ownerships. It just keeps expanding and expanding.

Where the old man speaks of water-levels and the closeness of his interests in that. An old man is supposed to be interested in these things. These sort of futile and local questions, historical records and the amounts of changes over time. As if the youths are caring about this now. They have enough trouble to find ways to eat and get a gig in this gig economy.

It is weird that he drops a piece like this. He could instead focus on how he hasn’t secured water in the tap. How, he hasn’t made it sufficiently and effectively water in the villages and the neighbourhoods of the slums in the cities. However, that would make him look dumb and foolish. After over three decades in power.

His talking about the amount of water in the lakes and the historical flooding’s of it. That is insincerity. If he was a history buff, someone who was holding seminars on historical facts of the Republic. It would have been fine and dandy, but this man is the Commander-In-Chief, the Head of State, the Fountain of Honour and not some random water-boy speaking about inner-workings of the lakes.

Just to be a bit blunt, Merriam-Webster defines water like this:

“the liquid that descends from the clouds as rain, forms streams, lakes, and seas, and is a major constituent of all living matter and that when pure is an odorless, tasteless, very slightly compressible liquid oxide of hydrogen H2O which appears bluish in thick layers, freezes at 0° C and boils at 100° C, has a maximum density at 4° C and a high specific heat, is feebly ionized to hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, and is a poor conductor of electricity and a good solvent” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary – ‘Water’).

So, its weird that he picks that as a topic all of sudden. It’s all water baby. The old man says so. It’s all magic baby. No, I am kidding, but this is foolish. That uses his time and energy behind such a piece. His not even a lecture on WASH principals or the Scientist. He is a know it all and one that thinks he has the vision for everyone. Even if that is untrue. That is why his fuzzed mind, thinks this was a brilliant move too.

Alas, he has dropped knowledge on one of the 4 classical elements. Let’s see what he does next. Peace.

Opinion: Museveni, Meal-Ticket Politicians is your “invention” …

Politics is working for the people, to get them out of poverty and solve their problems, not to escape poverty for your own self” – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (10.09.2020)

That someone who has rebuilt and remade the political system, the one who has made the new constitution and signed off laws, which has commercialized politics. This being the price of party nominations and the price to pay for nomination forms to the Electoral Commission. Together with the hefty salaries, allowances and perks in-office. The ability to spend the fortunes comes with the opportunities of getting in office after paying back the fees to stand as a flag-bearer.

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) and all their leaders have made this system. Ever since the Constitution of 1995 and the laws for elections that has been made with deliberate action. The NRM knows this and the President knows this too.

That’s why his a bit delusional when he says this:

The main reason why people are fighting hard to go to Parliament is because MPs increased their salary. They earn more than scientists and many other important people to our country. I tried telling them not to do it but they insisted. Now, people want to leave their other work to go to Parliament and earn much. Yet, their motivation should be to serve their people rather than earn from Parliament” (Museveni, 10.09.2020).

Because, the President knows about the rise of salaries and allowances within the Parliament and for the Representatives. The NRM have promoted this and made it more profitable to become an MP. They are getting suits, cars, salaries and allowances, which are really making people millionaires over night.

The President knows this very well. Museveni have made this all happen. While endorsing it and knowingly that the cronies have gotten the wealth. The men loyal to him would get a pay-off and kick-backs from the state. That is why the ideal to run for office isn’t all about the representation, but getting rich. This is not strange, as the MPs and candidates has to spend massive amount of money to able to get in office. That has to later be repaid … and therefore, the knowledge of the costs and the needs to get covered after the campaigns.

So, initially the President is saying the rights things, but his actions has made this system. That is why I am not so forgiving. He has promoted and built this regime. That has all benefited him and his associates. If it wasn’t so, this wouldn’t be like this. The whole system and policies have been enacted within the reach of this Presidency. This wasn’t relics of previous regimes, but his own.

President Museveni can be right, but is terribly wrong at the same time. If he was against it. Why didn’t he act upon it? Well, he wants loyal allies and the easiest way is to pay them off, instead of giving them credit. The President, if he didn’t want this to become like this. He wouldn’t have supported, helped and built the system up this way.

That’s why these statements made by him is hypocrisy… however, that is his M.O. these days. Sounds correct, but acts a fool. Hoping nobody catches his game. Peace.
