Burundi-Rwanda: Who is fooling, who?

RDF is trained and prepared to fight wars but not to start them with others, but if others make us their problem and choose to start a war with us, that is when we use judgment, determination and training to fight and finish it for them” – President Paul Kagame at the Rwanda Military Academy at the Commissioning Ceremony on the 13th July 2018.

There been twice reported during this month of movement of a possible militia crossed from Cibitoka province from the Kibra forest in Burundi into Nyungwe forest in the Ruhengeri district in Rwanda. Some Burundian sources claim it is Imbonerakure, the Youth Militia out of the CNDD-FDD in the province, and the final claim is that its trained militias from the Force de Defense National du Burundi (FNDB) too. While that is happening, in the Southern Regions of Rwanda, the 31st Brigade and the 4th Division are doing military operations, as reported on the 12th July. So, it is not like various reports shows something is brewing. Hopefully, just puppy-talk, but these regimes are not sweet uncles, but fierce regimes, who has no trouble getting rid of someone in their way.

That is just some of the reports, so it is hard to know what is real. It has been reported that there was Rwandan Burundi based militia attacked this area in the 1st July 2018 and that on the 13th July 2018, that the same group came back.

There been long speculations and rumors of border clashes. But who would be favor of these reports?

Do the Rwandan government want a war with Burundi, as their economy is crippled and the dictator is a mad-Max, whose getting rid of enemies like other trash garbage. It is not like Rwandan dictator is anything different, he has left his opposition to rot in the prison as well. So them both are acting in-different to the voices within their republics. Therefore, non of these regimes are positive for the freedom or liberty. So, I would not defend anyone of these. Pierre Nkurunziza have no problem to send people to their demise, neither would Paul Kagame, he would put someone into a fatal tragedy for standing in his way.

Nevertheless, as the government needs fear, they need wars and enemies to act strong. That the Rwandan government could need a conflict, could consolidate Kagame even more, as he grew up in conflict and came as a General, whose never left power. Nkurunziza came out of a civil war and has now soon gotten rid of all his enemies internally too. These two would need a conflict to gain popularity, because it is just so far fear and self-inflicted deposing of citizens can go. By the time all opposition are gone or in exile.

Certainly, both regimes would need and use this to their favor. However, the Burundian Authorities have said it isn’t true. While the Rwandan government has verified it. This has happen before. You can question, if the Rwandan want to create a crisis and an excuse to attack Burundi. Does the Burundian government want to blame Rwanda and make sure they can attack the neighbor?

As both governments are working to kill this off. You can question why all these reports are coming up and who is fooling who?

What is the play and whose playing? What is the end-game?

I really wonder. Because both parties are saying: “no it wasn’t us and we’re not involved”. While both are sort of blaming the other parties. We will clearly see the signs and see where this goes. Who will use the other party.

However, it is hard to know who is right, as both are using their authorities to counter-claim. The Rwandan has happen through the Police Authority, while the Burundian has claimed it through the army. Certainly, one of them is lying. While in Rwanda, there been military operations going-on, without connections to the possible insurgence from Burundi.

That is why you can wonder if Rwanda are using the Burundi excuse for their own activity? But that is just speculations. Just like the rest. Nothing is really verified and both government like to keep things to their chest and secrets, also not like free media is free to report either. Therefore, the sources are shady at best. Peace.

FDI-Inkingi: Rwanda repression reaches a cresendo, high time and Donors Rined on President Kagame to end it (22.06.2018)

Do the Gunners really want to be associated with Paul Kagame?

As today news show, that ‘Visit Rwanda’ has signed a sponsorship deal with Arsenal Football Club, which means that jerseys will be filled at one specific place with the logo of ‘Visit Rwanda’. Rwanda which all controlled by President Paul Kagame, the general who has blood on his hands and knows very well how to use his trigger finger. General Kagame is ruthless and unforgiving, his enemies either lingers in jail or are buried six-feet under. Therefore, the Gunners have blazed all guns with this one.

If your thinking it is legitimate to forgive the man for being the current leader of African Union, at some point Muammar Gadaffi was too and they took his dictatorial flesh all across the streets before getting rid-off him. Rwanda has their own dictator and that is Kagame. Kagame might dress smart and talk like a wise man. But he has killed and gotten rid of his enemies. There are many men and woman who has gotten at the other side of the gun. That all on orders of Kagame. This isn’t a fairytale, it isn’t a fiction either. It is the reality and the blood of the voices that stand-ups to Kagame.

Goal Reports: “Goal understands that the £10 million-a-year ($13m) deal with ‘Visit Rwanda’ is the biggest sleeve sponsorship contract in the Premier League, surpassing Chelsea’s £6m-a-year ($8m) agreement with Hyundai and Manchester City’s partnership with Korean company Nexen Tire” (Chris Wheatley – ‘Arsenal sign Premier League’s biggest sleeve sponsor deal’ 23.05.2018, Goal).

So, the state of Rwanda can afford a three year deal with the Gunners for £10m. What is ironic in this is that the United Kingdom The Department for International Development (DFID) planned total budget for Rwanda are in 2017/18 total £64m and in 2018/19 are £62m. Meaning, that the about 16,6% of the DFID budget funds are returned to the United Kingdom, through the payments of ‘Visit Rwanda’. But they are going directly to the Gunners of London and not in the pockets of anyone else.

Just to be specific about the violations of the Rwandan government in 2016 to 2017, the Human Rights Watch reported in their 2018 report, that 37 people killed as petty suspects in the Western Province between April 2016 and March 2017. This is just a small fraction of the real numbers, as there are many undocumented ones. Therefore, this is just a small sample of the pain that Kagame does to the ones who stands in his way.

He is used to blazing guns, now he is blazing the state funds on a sponsorship deal, because surely he has seen the plan and said “do it”. I doubt he wasn’t kept in the loop, because the President does it all and controls it all. That is why people are forced to vote for him and follow his laws. He says they all support him, but then if they did, his biggest rivals wouldn’t be behind bars like Victoire Ingabire and Diane Shima Rwigara. Who both had the courage to stand-up and speak against Kagame, that has a price, which is either behind bars or killed. They got the first and not the second offer.

Therefore, the Gunners are really following their nickname, Arsenal are now associated with Kagame and his tyranny. They are already flushing in monies from other questionable sources, but this is the latest. The one I know. If the Board and Owners of Arsenal Football Club knows this, then they are accepting mercenaries blood-money from the Democratic Republic of Congo and even that the aid supposed to be donated to development projects are instead ending up their to pay the fat salaries for their Premier League footballers.

That should make anyone shake their heads, usually football isn’t that serious, but when you put money into play. It becomes dead-serious and Kagame isn’t playing, he is coning and trying to white-wash his name. People like me don’t accept that, he has to many bodies on his watch to be forgiven and to many people who has suffered just he and his kin could rule Rwanda. Peace.

Opinion: Have Kagame put a spell on the West?

You can wonder if the sins of old haunts the West, if the support and the strategies that worked back-in-the-day is now a lost tale. The hope for change and for a different outcome is gone. President Paul Kagame will run indefinitely and never step down. I don’t know if the West feel in debt for the crisis it didn’t prevent and didn’t manage properly in 1994. Where Kagame together with the rebel-militia supported by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni entered Rwanda. They had already been apart of the National Resistance Army (NRA) and the new government under National Resistance Movement (NRM). Kagame has done the same with the Rwandan Patriotic Army (RPA) and made it into a party with the Rwandan Partriotic Front (RPF). Just after the model in Uganda.

Therefore, what you see in Rwanda is similar to what you have seen in Uganda. However, there are difference, that is why the chilling relationship between the neighbors. Kagame has worked closely with Uganda, they have sent armies together in the Democratic Republic of Congo, they have worked together to support the M-23 there too. They have been weapon brothers and brothers in arms. Still, the West let them both go. It is weird, but that is where we are. Both Museveni and Kagame can do whatever and get away it.

Kagame is either detaining or killing his enemies. He is doing it just like the Russian do. Rwandans has been poisoned in the United Kingdom, strange fatal accidents in South Africa, even in exile there are dangers if you have crossed Kagame. No-one is hidden from him and if they did him bad or even questioned him. He will find you and make sure you pay. Everyone can be touched and everyone can be taken.

Kagame has total control, nothing that he doesn’t have a stake in, there are clear that the state is part of all society. If there a dissidents or people questioning him, even if they are challenging him in public. They will be tarnished and detained, their family enterprises will be seized. There is no mercy and he never shows that to anyone.

That is maybe why the Western media, NGOs and States in general are walking on needles, they need the minerals he is thieving from the Kivu provinces and therefore, let him off the hook for the support of militias within the DRC. Let him of the hook for the human rights violations, for the killings of opposition and for the totalitarian activities. Where no one but his will matters. Kagame is the king and the sun first shines on him.

We should be worried, because he doesn’t lack use of violence and harassment, he hurts and kills. He might be successful to a certain extent, but we should be worried about the efforts and his involvement across the border. There are even claims of his use of spies and such in Burundi. Clearly, that could be the truth, since he has used all sort of manipulation and militias to get funding from abroad. Therefore, it is weird he is a donor friendly person, but also someone who has no issues with silencing his enemies. That should be worrying and that should cut him off the gravy-train, also sanction the companies that are importing his conflict minerals. Peace.
