Opinion: Why does the NRM have the need to create a war-zone over a by-election?

You can wonder, what sort of lack of talent, integrity and trust in your own population, when you have enforce the crowds, when you have to hire and order the army, military police and the police to a district where a by-election is appearing. You just know that the ruling regime suck at electioneering and also coming with solutions, as their final nail in coffin is to send guns, ammunition and a doze of fear. Because that is the way to sway the public a day ahead of the polls.

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) have no legitimacy and not transparent activity, they only have the methods of fear and bribes, and there is no policy or no person who’s trustworthy enough to not use the military to intimidate. Because this party has to use guns and ammunition to prove a point. Not try to come with reason or common sense, now you come like an invader and ready for warfare.

You could wonder if there was an election or if the place was under siege, if the NRM and the government was awaiting unknown militias or ghosts of the LRA at Rukungiri. They have done similar things in other by-elections. So they are at it again.

This isn’t breaking news, it is not shocking, it is the only way these fellows and this party can handle affairs. They can only order and hire guns, not talk or do business in other ways. It is special that a by-elections for one MPs to a Parliament is that important, that you have to use all parts of the Security Organizations and beat the message of insecurity to these levels. That the By-Elections looks like Mogadishu, because that is favourite scenery of the President.

There is no common sense in this by-election, only that the NRM are trying to grab a whole of something by any means without any proper justification and reason. It is like they have to grab the people with fear, because they know by this point, they have no solid reason for their existence. There isn’t any progress, anything visible or viable approach for them. It is only empty suits and presidential handshakes.

That is not a good look, when your been running the republic for over three decades. That you have to send the military to install fear to sway voters. That is just sinister, but also show the lack of respect from the rulers, that they are instead of being tolerable and understanding, they are coming with the big-guns and expect submission.

By doing so, the NRM are showing they have already lost. The plot doesn’t’ thickens, it is just weak mediocre soup with very little or no meat, just boiled water on stones added some spices to funk the soup up. When everyone knows it is paper-thin and not really tasty. That is the reality in this mess. Every party knows this. However, they try to act differently.

It is not working, how weak is your message and faith in your programs, that your sending the army to get people into submission? How little policies and little benefits have you given the public over the years, which you have to send guns to get them over to your side.

It is insulting, but that is the M.O. of the NRM. They are insulting people’s intelligence and their goodwill, they are insulting the barriers of trust and accountability, they are just eating and hoping no-one cares, but apparently they do. If not, they wouldn’t need to invade the Rukungiri district ahead of the polls tomorrow. Peace.

Opinion: Museveni been wasting time since 1986…

Eh! This should get old, but alas, this will continue to be an issue as long as Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the President. Especially, since he continues to open his mouth. He has to be addressed, because he lies and deceives the population. They shouldn’t see past and not challenge him, since he has been ruling for over three decades and has little to show. That is why he attacks others, because his own track record is eroding with time.

Look at the report today from Watchdog Uganda:

President Yoweri Museveni said that FDC members are there to fail government projects only, citing that there is nothing that FDC can do that is developmental. He added that the opposition doesn’t reach him, that only those of NRM can. The opposition doesn’t share on the national cake. “You voted Rolland Kaginda and Fred Turyamuhwezi in Rukungiri municipality and Rujumbura counties and you’ve benefited. Do not waste your remaining chance, and the only chance is Winnie Matsiko,” Museveni said” (Watchdog Uganda – ‘‘Don’t waste your time voting FDC’, Museveni urges Rukungiri people’ 29.05.2018 link: http://watchdoguganda.com/dont-waste-your-time-voting-fdc-museveni-urges-rukungiri-people/).

So, it is special that someone whose been running the nation from 1986 are talking about wasting time. As he himself should have delivered roads, education, industrialization and modernization of the Republic. However, he has been preoccupied with enriching himself and his cronies, instead of development. That is proven.

The man with a vision, haven’t even been able to deliver his biggest promising plan, the Ten Point Program, Vision 2020 upgraded to Vision 2040, National Development Plan I and National Development Plan II and so on. There are so many unfinished plans and policies where the procurement, tenders and the financing has been questionable. There is even evidence that the Universal Primary Education is failing badly, instead of being one of the few achievements that the President could actually show to the world after three decades in power.

That is why a President like this shouldn’t talk about waste of time. He has wasted three decades in powers and has little or nothing to show for it. Unless bigger notes, giant loans and lack of accountability is wishful results to show. If a growing cabinet, making more districts and more sub-counties, and not initial organizations that is good. It is only to hire cronies and making sure there are more people hired locally too. As well as more RDCs and others who are appointed directly from the President. Therefore, a growing bureaucracy, but not showing positive effects of this. Only a higher numbers of districts, but not proving anything substantial.

President Museveni is the proof of waste of time. If he had used his time wisely, there would be infrastructure, schools and actual possible space for business, instead there are Presidential Handshakes, there are bribes and inside trading within the administration. You need favors to be able to grow your business. Especially given a hand from the State House.

He can say the FDC is waste of time, but they don’t have power in the Parliament, that is the NRM. A NRM that you, Museveni controls. Therefore, the NRM has the ability and could do things and has had the ability to do so since 1986. But still haven’t delivered anything substantial.

Mr. President, your a waste of time and the Republic sadly have to live with it. Peace.

Museveni: If your are against tribalism in the UPDF; Why do you appoint mostly from Western then?

It is weird, but when it comes to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his words today. Has he checked his appointments and the people around him. He has a hankering for getting people from the Western Uganda, especially the ones in and around Rukungiri, where your are doling monies these days, as your trying to capture a By-Election for Woman’s MP slot. Museveni, is really trying to show his integrity. However, his actions are talking louder, than his words. First his wanted message from the rallies today, then his real aspirations.

M7 in Rukungiri:

I have heard some people using sectarian sentiments to campaign in Rukungiri. These should be rejected. The NRM decided long ago that tribalism does not build institutions. For example, you cannot recruit an army based on tribalism. It is on the basis of building a national army devoid of tribalism that we have the peace we enjoy today. This peace has resultantly led to sustainable development in terms of roads, electricity, schools and hospitals” (Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, 28.05.2018).

Nilepost reported in December 2017:

Armed Forces. Four-star generals: On analyzing of the 9 highest-ranking UPDF personnel it was established that Western region has 6 (67%) trailed by Central, Eastern and Northern with 1 each, constituting 11%. Lieutenant Generals: Of the 6 examined, 2 were from Eastern Uganda with the other regions sharing one apiece. Major Generals: In examination of the 16 major generals, it was revealed that Western region had 11 (69%), Eastern and northern stood at 2 (13%) and Central with 1 (6%). Brigadiers: In terms of regional distribution, Western region stands higher with 27 (53%), followed by Central 10 (20%), Northern 8 (16%) and Eastern which has 6 (12%)” (Nilepost – ‘Report: Western region dominates jobs in army, police, foreign missions’ 14.12.2017).

Let me just say, again Museveni is all talk, but not acting. Its his twisted tongue and his words that doesn’t make sense. If he was against tribalism, he wouldn’t favor the Western in the armed forces. That is insane to say, as the same stats are in the rest of the government, the appointed and hired are from the region. In dozens compared to the rest of Uganda. It happens to be from the area and the districts around Rukungiri.

So Museveni, maybe you should come with a better sentiment, something that would mirror reality. Like the actual truth for ones. That would be fine. Because this sort of article or blog, is to damn easy to write these days.

Museveni, Mr. President if your campaigning and not thinking the bribing, the sudden need to give to Rukungiri, because of the popularity of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate in the area. Then, you should actually come with speeches where the facts and reality are fitting as a glove. Right now your sending out doves and instead of feeding them, your taking out your shot-gun and blowing them to smithereens, it is like he doesn’t understand the reality.

The reality is that his government is directly a tribal affair, which he has sanctioned and done all this decades. There is only the paid-off and the loyally bribed cronies from the other parts, but the key allies are all Western Ugandan based people. Therefore, him saying NRM decided long ago to counter that, he hasn’t really done so. Its still clear that the key figures and the ones highest up the food-chain are from Western Uganda.

You might lie to the blind sheep, but not to my kind.

Tribalism is rampant in the UPDF and the NRM hasn’t really fought this. Except with a twisted tongue and an excuse of a mind, which happens to be the President.

Peace.

Museveni: There is never too much peace!

We can know only that we know nothing. And that is the highest degree of human wisdom.” Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace

I don’t get it, I really don’t, I have no idea where he get this wisdom. What sort of schooling or tale of wisdom. There isn’t anything I can come up with to answer this or find something that similar as what President Museveni really stated. That there was to much peace, therefore, the reason for kidnappings and murders. This lazy of the President. It is just weird as hell. The hell-bound narrative that peace is leading to insecurity. What gives Mr. President?

It cannot be so, then the peaceful nations on other sides of the world, would have more kidnappings, extortion’s and also dozens of murders. This insecurity is because of the lack of resources, the need to kidnap people, because of unemployment and lack of work. There are so many systemic and problematic parts of the government, that the insecurity is the lack of organization and governance of the security organizations within the Republic. This is not because of too much PEACE.

There is never to much PEACE. There can never be enough PEACE. That is lie, a big fat lie. There can never be enough freedom and liberty in the world, there will always be fights to keep things or to ensure people have their freedoms and the liberty to live within the bounds of the laws. That they can be law-abiding citizens, who are living within the means of the state and within the community. But there cannot be to much peace. That is not true. Then there would be total chaos in Northern and Central Europe, where it has been peaceful for decades. There should be grand gangs going wild, kidnapping and making sure the citizens would fear their neighborhoods, however, that is not the case.

Therefore, the President is in hot-water and knows, if not he should know, that its his generals, his government and his institutions that is malfunctioning. The evidence is in the lack of evidence collecting, the problems of investigating the murders and also the problem of insecurity with the recent amounts of kidnappings.

There is never to much peace, the state of peace is there because of the security of the people and the citizens are provided by the state. The insecurity and the lack of thereof, is because of the lack of organization and protocol to carry out the needed safety measures for the citizens. That is why the system is cracking. Not because of the borders are peaceful, it is because the kidnappers are seeing wealth and a way out of poverty to kidnap people and get ransom. Not because of too much peace.

There is never to much peace, just not enough freedom and liberty in the state. There is never to much peace. Never enough peace. Never ever ever enough peace. That should be installed in someones veins, tattooed on their forehead and repeat it to themselves. There is never enough peace. It just doesn’t exist. There is always something and some threats of some kind. However, how big or small. There are criminal gangs and other people acting vile up society. There are conflicts internally who are trying to take away civil liberties of certain individuals, even if we like it or not. That is just the sad reality of the world we are living in.

However, there never to much freedom, never too much liberty within bounds of rule of law and within sovereign states, there is never to much peace. That is utter nonsense and a big fat lie. A big juice burger of lie. Peace.

A rebuttal to Mwenda’s Messiah Complex concerning Museveni!

Any religion whose messiah’s name isn’t recognized by Microsoft Word can’t be that much of  a threat.”Stephen Colbert

After reading Andrew Mwenda’s ‘Africa’s need for messiahs’ that is in the newest edition of the Independent Magazine. However, I feel Mwenda is insulting people’s intelligence with this piece. Because when he writes, that its wrong to have a “blame-the-leadership”, as Museveni also did in the past. He praises Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his bush-war and that he didn’t sit in air-conditioned office and complained at the leadership. I am sure it would better to complain at the leadership with a drying robusta beans and a goat in a village up-country.

Whatever really, drink a stoney and take it easy. Well, let’s be serious, that this piece is just a reflection of how Mwenda has sold-out his own ambition and own belief. The only thing that was strange was that he didn’t mention Besigye. I was anticipating it, but it never happen. Just that the elite is bitching about Museveni, but not doing anything. Has he considered the price of doing something? Is he blind to the consequences of testing the powers in Uganda? Does Mwenda remember what happen to himself when he challenged the powers to be?

Yes. I think he does and partly that he get sponsored by the state, he is now envisioned to find anyways to defend the government and Museveni. Even if they are hiring Cuban Medical staff, instead of paying fair salaries to the Health Care workers. Because that is a healthy system, the whole state is in the image of Museveni. Even if his critics or his supporters say otherwise. When someone been ruling for 32 years, have made their mark and their signifying policies. Which has dwindled with time, as the fatigue, the greed and the need for the security organization to keep his up-keep. While also paying off cronies and the elites. The lazy elites of Mwenda, which he says he is apart of.

He says it is personal responsibility to bring down the leadership of Museveni, however, when Besigye and others was on the road with the Defiance and wanting to bring him down. They we’re extremists and dangers to the state, they were hooligans and people who haven’t given credit to Museveni’s state. Sorry, Mr. Mwenda, but you cannot have both ways. You cannot give people personal responsibility and in the months of 2015 and 2016, even parts of 2017 hashing out articles and posts attacking Besigye and FDC supporters for their will to topple Museveni peacefully. For months later in May 2018, blame the same elites and public. That is just insulting, do you think people are that stupid? Really?

Mwenda, I was a fan of you when you we’re on the Radio. You seemed like a decent character, but somewhere you lost your way. That is visible. As you are now counter-punching yourself.

You never wanted people to topple Museveni peacefully or demonstrate against him, that is not in your self-interest. Therefore its vindictive and vicious of you to write this now. When you have addressed this matters before and said something else. But you have shown your loyalty now with the sentence:

In many ways I find Museveni better than his critics”. Mwenda I might had find you better, if you we’re consistent. However, your not, you are self-serving and therefore, you can only serve your interests. Not serve the public with common sense. Someone who has only served his own interests to for decades is Museveni. So I start to understand why you are on his side of history. Even if it is flawed. Just like your article. Step your game up.

Uganda needs taxation with representation, it’s been enough time with taxation without representation. That is why the state isn’t delivering services, proper governance or transparency within the government. However, you don’t believe in this anymore. You just trust in Museveni because your pockets gets fat by him.

This isn’t about Besigye for me, this is about that someone else has the skills to lead the nation, not just one former-rebel and wealthy cattle-farmer. There are more people with quality to delegate and to find solutions. That is why Museveni needs to go, he isn’t hungry to deliver anything. He is just eating and the rest like Mwenda is looking for excuses to support him. Peace.

Opinion: Tired of the ‘last words of Mwenda’ against the FDC and Besigye!

mwenda-lastword-banner-3

Mwenda, Andrew Mwenda the Independent Magazine owner and editor, the man who knows all about how to rant against fellow political opponents, than a month later praising them, like they are the next one to save the world. In one week Museveni can be the worst and the other week he will be the hero. The same is with the Forum for Democratic Change and Dr. Kizza Besigye, all through December 2016 and this beginning 2017 his focus has been bashing on Besigye like he is AIDS.

Mwenda has a fetish or worse a deluded mind where he uses all kind of words to address why Besigye isn’t the President, without considering the fact of the power of ‘the old man with the hat’. The editor rant is about the organizations, the loss of local elections and the losing of presidential election going back to Dr. Paul Ssemogerere of the Democratic Party who ran against President Museveni and all of his campaign we’re filled with attacks and brutality. Just like all of Besigye’s has been, it is a reason why he is for the second time in his life-time charged with treason against the Republic. All of those explanations vanish like water meet the heat of the sun and becomes part of the air.

Mwenda’s rants concluded with today’s word calling FDC a Cult on Facebook. Where he was calling literally Besigye a Cult leader, because Mwenda has to grind out every little bit of anger into the public sphere. He added videos of the inauguration of Nana Addo in Accra where Besigye we’re invited, Mwenda had this to say about the Ghanaian President speech: “In these two videos, newly elected Ghanaian president, who invited FDC cult leader to his inauguration, parrots the inaugural speeches of Bill Clinton in 1993 and George Bush in 2001. Besigye’s 2010 manifesto copied David Cameron’s Conservative Party manifesto almost word for word” (Mwenda, 08.01.2016). So his words are saying itself how he has to attack the man for attending and being invited while Museveni is busy bodying himself to drop “Presidential Handshakes”.

Ferry for Besigye to Busuga 16.11.15

“Besigye’s despotism in FDC:

Earlier in the day he wrote this too against Besigye: “Most of the FDC leaders i have interviewed ran away from NRM after witnessing the same trend. Now they say that compared to Besigye and his FDC fanatics, M7 and his NRM look like the best democrats one can find. In short Besigye had established a ruthless and intolerant dictatorship over the FDC and now relies on the cult of personality rather than on institutions to govern” (…) “While Besigye fanatics claim I have been hired by NRM to tarnish the name of their cult leader, the information I post here is always supplied to me by the top ranking members of FDC who want to rescue the party and Uganda’s democracy from the tyranny of extremism and the despotism of Besigye” (Mwenda, 08.01.2017).

So he continues his rants, his words of direct attack, as there are rare breed and the Besigye is giant problem. Besigye is the reason for the losses; Besigye is the reason for everything. If it rains it’s Besigye, if it snows it is Beisgye, if it is wind it is Besigye and if it is sun by all means it is Besigye. That is how you can talk in the sense of Mwenda. He is the weatherman who always will pin the blame on Besigye, and by all current codex or modus operandi it will be boiled down to Besigye. Nobody else, the others are needed props in tale of fatigue, lacking organization or even repeatedly popular personality of Besigye. Instead of asking why was there yet again Primary Elections where Besigye won over Gen. Mugish Muntu. Something that didn’t happen in the Movement, where Museveni where sole-candidacy for Presidency and Mbabazi wasn’t allowed to run against him! Something that Mwenda wouldn’t mention, for one simple reason, it will blow his mind and lose his marbles. Mwenda will be little prick who thinks he is a genius, but misses key aspects of matter. Like you need water or milk to drink tea. You can try to boil coke, but the tea will not mix well, but boiled milk or water will make a perfect blend.

Mwenda’s rants are now pointless and personal, like vendetta against the FDC and Besigye. Like he has to attack them! He cannot do anything else, if not he loses his mind. I know I write against Museveni a lot too, but usually with context of economy or recent acts, but Mwenda recreate the election and the internal organization of FDC without caring about factors that are put into play with no regard of the political status in the Republic. FDC are not alone on the losing end of Movement, but Mwenda acts like they are the only one, there is UPC, DP, Farmer’s Party, TIC, UFA and so on.

Kisoro FDC 01.02.2016 Muntu Rally Police

Like yesterday’s rant: “Besigye die hards are either cowards or hypocrites or both. While they make the loudest noise on how they are ready to die for him, they have done nothing (except for insulting critics on social media) to prove they are worthy of their claims. Each time Besigye goes to town, Kale Kayihura sends only eight (8) police men who pick Besigye like chicken, bundle him over a pickup truck and take him to police as these “ready-die-for-our-man” fanatics watch helplessly” (Mwenda, 07.01.2017).

He goes again into insults not only Besigye, but his supporters, because what else there to do. Because he doesn’t have a valid argument as long as he is putting FDC and Besigye in vacuum, the same kind of empty hole his arguments and reasoning is for the moment. 2017 stroke Mwenda and his mind went haywire. To prove the nonsense of this man, let’s take a piece of the rant of the day before:

“Over the last 16 years, Besigye has concentrated all the meager resources of the opposition on one singular objective, to capture the presidency. Yet we all know that maintaining the presidency is the most important objective of M7 and the NRM where he has concentrated most of his resources” (…) “Now FDC is much weaker relative to NRM. Not only that. NRM is also backed by the power of the state. By concentrating all opposition resources to attack NRM at its most fortified position, Besigye has expended his meager resources to secure an objective where he has the least chance of success. This is a strategic blunder” (Mwenda, 06.01.2017).

The relative argument itself is disgusting, because even if NRM is a ordinary party as Mwenda make it seems, it still is freighting how little he consider how the ambitions are under siege in the NRM, therefore handpicked and rigged members are becoming leaders, but that part of the argument is lost on Mwenda. Because that makes NRM more fragile than Mwenda wants to say. As well as the FDC primary model is better than NRM, though not perfect it still are more democratic than NRM ever will be. Another reason why the debate of Muntu and Besigye in the FDC are a valid one, directly opposite in the NRM where there is no discussion if VP Edward Ssekandi or PM Rukhana Ruganda will ever challenge Museveni. But that is a silent and a mute-point. If doing so your devaluing the epitome of all Ugandan wishes is to have Museveni for life as the chairman of the Movement and Executive of the Republic. Another thing, Mwenda doesn’t have the balls to connects when taking in consideration the stalemate in FDC and in other parties. In a state where it isn’t really democratic, in the sense that NRM are rigging when needed to control the Parliament and all other political offices in the country. The rest is just a front. Strange that Mwenda cannot mention that either. But that is another illness, that his eyes looks away from.

The flawed and the lost plot, is why all of sudden has went into mayhem and going all in to attack FDC and Besigye, Mwenda seems like only dreaming and thinking about them. That is the only thing that boggles his precious minds and the only discussion he can have in the Independent Magazine, as the other obstacles of the Republic can be redundant.  Peace.

My last words to Mwenda on his battle against the FDC: “Kill that, kill that Noise”

KRS Shan

MC Shan the rapper who wrote a diss song back at KRS-One back in eighties wrote these lyrics and I will use them to how I feel when I read Mwenda comments of late:

“(South Bronx) Kill that, kill that noise (Repeat x8)” (MC Shan – ‘Kill that Noise’, 1987). That was written and made as an response the track made by KRS-One wrote this verse in the diss against the Juice Crew who MC Shan was a part of: “South Bronx, the South, South Bronx (Repeat x4)” (KRS-One – ‘South Bronx’, 1987). Those diss songs we’re made against each other. First came KRS-One with “South Bronx” with an answer from MC Shan, that was made to silence KRS-One and BDP. Instead he made a career on the answer from MC Shan and Juice Crew. This here is written as my answer to the allegation and direcet attacks from Andrew Mwenda, the editor of the Independent Magazine, and his rants against the Forum for the Democratic Change (FDC). That because his lost mind, need to be addressed, as he is more and more sounding like wild cat, than a poltical editor. Take a look!

????????????????????????????????????

With that in mind when I read stuff like this from Mwenda, says this:

“During the Second World War, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill (perhaps the bitterest enemy of communism) allied with the communist USSR and its brutal leader Joseph Stalin to defeat Adolf Hitler and his German reich. When asked why he could work with such an evil regime, Churchill said he was even willing to go to hell and ally with the devil if that was necessary to defeat Hitler. Today I find myself in the same position as Churchill. I am willing to go to hell and ally with the devil to defeat the extremism and intolerance of the radical faction of FDC” (Mwenda, 03.06.2016).

Well, to put himself in the space of Churchill is brave, as long parts Churchill was opposition and was even demoted, and had to prove his worth after even being a warrior who fought in Sudan, before coming back with his name to Parliament in Britain. Surely Mr. Mwenda has lost that part of Churchill past. That he sets the Communism versus capitalism/western values on the same levels as NRM versus FDC, proves that something is lost in the wind. Mr. Mwenda is forgetting why there are radical factions in Uganda in general, and why there are parts of FDC who are like that, why does the terrorizing the FDC, detaining and torture of FDC leadership? House arrests of MP Michael Kabaziguruka, have after the Martyr’s Day, been under house-arrest again! And the Mwenda, the so-called intellectual wonder why certain men becomes radical?

Does the same Mwenda forget that Mandela was so radical against the Aparteid at one point in the 1960s that he was caught with a gun? The man, who knows how these sort of organizations and actions happens as the oppressive behavior happens without impunity and justice, the people and political parties in opposition have to react, the Presidential Candidate of FDC is behind bars, the party have been for month banned from acting on their will from Constitutional Court, IGP Kayihura have monitored all kind of actions from the FDC. And Mwenda still wonders why there are existing radical parts of the FDC? There should be existing radical political parts in other parties in Uganda, as they are harshly oppressed by NRM Regime, and detained, JEEMA offices was even besieged by the Police during May, Human Rights Organizations raided and the Police not interested in catching the men on the CCTV camera. The lawyers of Amama Mbabazi raid have not been taken in or done anything with these actions.

The proven now loyalty of Andrew Mwenda is with the NRM and the NRM Regime, as he cannot stand the truth and questioning from FDC loyalist, as the FDC are haunted and taken to custody at any moment. The lingering unlawfulness, the reign of terror against the opposition has been at the main stage since February 2016.

MwendaNewNight

He said this in the end of May 2016:

I am running a one man’s war against FDC extremists. They love me, and one of them even drew a nice cartoon of me. So they always show up on this page to read what I write and comment. They don’t argue but only insult. And they think (like Jeb Bush said of Donald Trump) they can insult their way to the presidency. Trump is doing it. They too may succeed if we all don’t join the fight against their Taliban-like politics! God forbid!!” (Mwenda, 31.05.2016).

I am not here to insult you, your noise Mr. Mwenda, you promote corruption, police harassment with impunity, political exploitation and also oppressive behavior, not that the FDC and their leadership is correct on everything. But when the Police make a party headquarter a “Crime Scene”, when FDC activist, FDC Members and FDC leaders are all the time taken to court or detained with or without charges, then you know that there are a war already from the NRM and the Central Government, that is not insulting you or your wisdom Mr. Mwenda, but instead an institutionalized oppression of the FDC. The gravity has hit you. Your words (Mr Mwenda) are now for me noise. Noise, and I ask as MC Shan did in 1987: “Kill that, kill that Noise”. Peace.

PS: here is the song…!

The Similarities between fictional President Camacho (Idiocracy) and Tom Dobbs (Man of the Year) Versus the real Presidential Candidate Donald Trump!

Trump Idiocracy

Let me take a quick look to the similarites between the fictional characters of President Camacho of ‘Idiocracy’ and Presidential Candidate of Tom Dobbs of ‘Man of the Year’ compared to the way GOP Presidential Candidate Donald Trump, who is not fiction, but a real life candidate who we are supposed to take seriously. Let’s take the similarities and they are very alike and in the real world shouldn’t be the same as fiction. I do not want Mordor or the Evil Eye looking and monitoring everything I do. So let’s remind ourselves that we are still kicking it in the real world.

Camacho

From the President Camacho of Idiocracy:

Today, I solved the biggest bummer in the history of America.  How?… (not a rhetorical question, actually forgot) Uuuh… remember when I hired. Secretary Not Sure?  He thought of a bunch of science involving uh,… water and uh… electrolytes…” (…)”And Not Sure did that science to the plants.  So now, there will be crops! The problem is solved! And all that other stuff will stop too, like the dust storms, the starvation, the ambulanches and the economy” (…)”And I’m gonna be going up in the polls!  And I’m gonna be gettin’ my pole up – ya’ll know what I’m talkin’ about?!  My pole!”

Trump broken flag

Donald Trump said in an interview in March 2016:

“TRUMP: No, not while I am president. No, not while I’m president. That is two phases. Right now, look, you know, I went to a great school, I was a good student and all. I am an intelligent person. My uncle, I would say my uncle was one of the brilliant people. He was at MIT for 35 years. As a great scientist and engineer, actually more than anything else. Dr. John Trump, a great guy. I’m an intelligent person. I understand what is going on. Right now, I had 17 people who started out. They are almost all gone. If I were going to do that in a different fashion I think I probably wouldn’t be sitting here. You would be interviewing somebody else. But it is hard to act presidential when you are being … I mean, actually I think it is presidential because it is winning. And winning is a pretty good thing for this country because we don’t win any more. And I say it all the time. We do not win any more. This country doesn’t win. We don’t win with trade. We don’t win with … We can’t even beat ISIS. And by the way, just to answer the rest of that question, I would knock the hell out of ISIS in some form. I would rather not do it with our troops, you understand that. Very important. Because I think saying that is very important because I was against the war in Iraq, although they found a clip talking to Howard Stern, I said, “Well…” It was very unenthusiastic. Before they want in, I was totally against the war. I was against it for years. I actually had a delegation sent from the White House to talk to me because I guess I get a disproportionate amount of publicity. I was just against the war. I thought it would destabilize the Middle East, and it did. But we have to knock out ISIS. We are living like in medieval times. Who ever heard of the heads chopped off?” (Washington Post, 2016).

When you read both of them you see the similarities, they both speak simplified, but that is not my main focus. Both President Camacho and Presidential Candidate Trump speaks in a tone and way that is not really speaking with knowledge. That is why he speaks about how smart he is, but at the time spending the time on his Uncle, not himself. Before continuing on winning, but not explaining how he is supposed to win anything, the same way President Camacho is explaining how his minister fixed the crops, he is certainly not sure how the Minister fixed it. The same way President Camacho says because “he fixed” one issue that going to initially fix everything else, it is in the same sense that Trump seems to fix the world issues and go into his own history as a way to show he could fix something. But let’s take the second fictional character and think of the similarities between him and Trump!

Tom Dobbs

Presidential Candidate Tom Dobbs of ‘Man of the Year’:

Tom Dobbs: [on his decision to run for President of the US] “I’m fed up with party politics, tired of the whole Republicans versus Democrats thing. Because there’s no real difference; they’re all Mr. Potato-Head candidates. Basically, the operative word is party. Behind closed doors, they just have a good time. What do you think the Secretary of Defense means when he says, “I think there’s an open bar somewhere?”.

 Trump debate quote CNN

This is what Trump said this in January 2015:

“And I’m a conservative, actually very conservative, and I’m a Republican.  And I’m very disappointed by our Republican politicians.  Because they let the president get away with absolute murder.  You see always, oh we’re going to do this, we’re going to–.  Nothing ever happens; nothing ever happens” (P2016, 2015).

The similar words of Tom Dobbs the Comedian turned Politician, and the Billionaire turned Politician are striking alike. They both saying that Politicians does nothing, one is saying they are Potato-Heads while Trump says they are getting away with Murder. That is an initially saying they let nothing happens. As Dobbs says they just drinks at the bar, while Trump is straight forwards saying that the President is killing and at the same time doing nothing. Something that should be seen as impossible, either your capable of killing a set person or idea. If not, your able to do nothing. You are doing something if you are actually doing a killing, a subject has to have a motive and actually act upon the killing. That is just stating the double edge of what Trump is saying and how he is contradicting himself. The Tom Dobbs quote says does the same as Trump as saying they does nothing, but goes to the bar having a wonderful time. So this is a mix that fitted.

Fitting right? "Do not do what I say, not what I do" - Is the paradime of Trump.
Fitting right? “Do as I say, not as do” – Is the paradime of Trump.

I have been thinking about this for a while and seen it. Not only the arrogant, narcissistic and racist rhetoric in the Donald Trump Campaign of 2015/2016. This here is just a proof of how he can be so alike to famous and well-known fictional characters. And that his speech is so similar says it all. Soon will Trump praise “Electrolytes for their tremendous power in body”. Just wait and see. Peace.
