Opinion: AG William Barr is a dictator’s wet dream

Do you need someone to defend the indefensible and who doesn’t care to carry your load? Then you should hire a guy like Attorney General of the Unites States of America, William Barr. He is ready, locked and loaded. This man will tell stories, ensure you deeds goes unpunished and go after your enemies.

AG Barr will lie, in a fashion and manner like no other. He will create crimes, enemies and means to use force on civilians. Will claim usage of weapons, tear-gas or others are not a way to take away the constitutional rights to demonstrate. Neither is the misuse of it for a photo-op for the President either.

To take a political stance on the Mueller Report and investigation. Do what you can to favour the felons, the ones who lied to Congress and to the FBI free. Is fine, as long as these are loyal allies of the President. However, if they have turned on the President, then you use the full force of the law to make things hectic for them. Alas, that is what water-boys does for their Quarterbacks.

AG Barr will weaponize the Department of Justice to pursuit all means, close investigations, fire state attorney generals and make lenient charges on people who caused harm to democracy, to trade secrets and intelligence with foreign powers; and obstructed justice. That is all fine, as long as these men are loyal to the President.

This is just what any dictator in their right minds want to have. A buddy, a comrade in arms and someone who is acting as their lawyer. Using the state and its monopoly of rule of law to bring the enemies of the President to the Courts. To use the maligned Court system to criminalize the opponents and strike with vengeance filled fury.

AG Barr can ensure the public is feeling the pain for demonstrations. That there are no legal trouble for the state to send armed mobs to Portland and elsewhere. To ensure ICE can easily breach the peace to take students into vans and other immigrants. AG Barr will secure everything and doesn’t mind by showing loyalty to the President.

The AG will do whatever, even if it breaches the laws and the constitution. Barr will pursuit the needs of the President and not act independent from him. His just waiting to waggle his tail and bark the orders his getting.

President Trump must be proud, he finally found someone so loyal that he will break laws and do impeachable offences in office. AG Barr will destroy his whole legacy and his name, because the President tells him too.

Who knew that Trump had the ability to pick a man like this after having two Attorney Generals. He needed two more before he found his perfect partner in crime. A man who has no scruples and heart, a man who will use his office to defend and use the state to secure his allies. Instead of using the Department of Justice for its purpose.

It has become evident. It has become clear. To think otherwise is stupid and AG Barr is being a dictators wet dream. He will do whatever the President needs … and doesn’t care how he double-cross his past behaviour. It doesn’t matter if it is destroying the rule of law in the mercy of the President. That is the sort of man Barr is and this is legacy. The man must be so proud, that is how he will be remembered.

Plus he support police brutality, accepts foreign interference in elections and weaponize the Department of Justice in favour of the President’s Men like Paul Manafort and Roger Stone. This man would trade his heart to serve the President, at least that is how it looks and his name is tainted forever. Peace.

Opinion: Dave Chappelle’s ‘8:46’ is what we needed right now

Comedian Dave Chappelle has always been hard-hitting and critical of the times his living in. The ones who has been following him and his stand-up, his career on TV and so fourth. Knows that this man has no filter. He can use words, describe the reality and be direct about everything between the moon and the nearest McDonald’s. That’s what Dave Chappelle does with a grin on his face.

That is why with the surprise special 8:46 the comedian didn’t only show his skill as comedian. He showed how he could catch the pulse, the nerve and hardbreaking realities of our times. Maybe his not using the stage in a pitch perfect manner. Maybe he didn’t use PG13 words, but he spoke the truth. He broke the peace for a moment to reflect, to inject some words, which more powerful. This is not because of the man he is, but because he can tell a tale. He can narrate and he can explain himself.

The tone was harsh, the way he conducted himself wasn’t as easy nor gibbering like his known for. However, the need for this sombre and the anger expressed is what the world needs to see. They need the voice of reason from a comedian. When the President, when the White House and when the elected leadership cannot offer it. If the comedian had more time, he could have consoled a few souls and helped them to deal with their grief.

There was no time for that. Yes, he pointed out a few people. In my view that was only right for him. As he wanted to address both Don Lemon and Candance Owens. I don’t blame him for that. The stories of how the lives are taken and not counted for, just lost in the waves and the news cycles is more baring of our losses. Of how we as humanity haven’t grasped or seen the devastation and oppression. It have been forgotten as a new victim appear and the former police brutality victim get dim by the hour. This sort of explanation and wording is what we need. We need to be reminded. Not to forget all the ones whose losing their lives, as they are just citizens who meets the hand of injustice.

Dave Chappelle is an OG now. He don’t have to do this. However, he did and used the platform he have to enlighten and to entertain. Even if his voice, his demean or wasn’t his usual self. While I am saying that. I am happy he wasn’t because then it wouldn’t be him. This was genuine, this was all him.

His heart, his way of saying these things. Was just what the world needed. No one else could have dropped this piece, this gem and this sort of surprise to the world. It’s raw, brutal and not for Comedy Central nor HBO. This was direct to DVD, the straight to stream. Where it was intended to be.

Some people are searching for perfection and for the Teleprompter speeches. That’s not real, but a scripted reality. We don’t need that, but we need the raw emotion, the hurt and the anger to see the wrongs of the world. Also to be able to stretch our hands and make a difference together. To get a deeper understanding and a vision of the hurt others have. We cannot get that, unless its told. That’s what happened here and hopefully more people opens their eyes and see it.

This is the sort of reminder, the ones who doesn’t watch news or even understand the deep anger within the Black Lives Matter (BLM) Movement stems from. Dave Chappelle express it perfectly and to a T. That’s why recommend everyone to watch this piece from him. There wouldn’t be anyone better to say and to address this than him.

USA: Time for a UN Team of Experts to Investigate US Police Brutality and Ethnic Violence

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets” – Matthew 7:11-12, New International Version

If it was any other nation, republic or place in the world. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and other agencies would be preoccupied with finding people, experts and a level-headed chief, a former head of state to run an operation into the demise, the failure to follow human-rights and escalating violence from the state authorities. As the curfews, the reports of killings, hospitalization and so fourth is coming in.

In this manner, the Organization of American States (OAS) would intervene. Send a former Latin American President and collect a team of experts to investigate on behalf of the UNSC. They would have configured a mandate, there would have been sessions with UNSC and the voting would have mandatory. The state then had to comply and let these experts into the Republic to investigate the matters of misconduct, wrong-doing and ill attempts of human rights violating, which in some instances has been lethal and fatal.

In this regard, there would also been missions from Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), African Union (AU), European Union (EU) and Gulf States Cooperation Council (GCC). They would all participate somehow. With observers and people reporting directly from all across. Some taking the Mid-West, others taking the Southern States. Others focusing on the Eastern Coast and finally someone looking into the actions made on the West Coast. That would all make sense.

However, this is not happening. There is a few small condemnation statements, but that is about it. It is not typical, but shows a signs of hope. That the world is not having it. Nevertheless, the UNSC and the other organizations needs to gather strength and push this. If the US can to this others, then it should be done upon them as well. That is only fair and square.

The US has always piled pressure, put into sanctions and done everything possible in the book. They have used all means to undermine sovereignty and integrity of other nations. This been done with intent of pressuring the states to act differently towards it citizens. Also, to show moral superiority. However, now, the King is undressed. The facade and the whole showcase has gone ballistic.

The triggers are off and the sparking violence is on the screens. It is filmed by the citizens, the open marginalization and lack of systems towards the minorities and African American citizens are clear as day. The is no shadow of a doubt. The evils of the society in the United States is appearing right in-front of our eyes. It is not hidden and needs to be addressed. There is no better time than now.

It is time to hook-up a AU, ASEAN, GCC or OAS with a Team of Experts, enlighten the world, the UNSC and condemn the White House and Trump Administration constantly. Even try to sanction or embargo something. So, that the police officers cannot get tear-gas or riot gear. Something to shield the citizens from this havoc. They deserve better, the US has told this to everyone else.

Now the world has to tell you the same. Because, you isn’t any better. You use the same tools you say others shouldn’t. That is hypocrisy and that needs to be said. Peace.

Opinion: Police Brutality is not an answer, but a tool of oppression

Over the last two days there been lots of victims of police brutality in Uganda and in Kenya. This being in Central Kampala yesterday or today in Mombasa or in Nairobi. This as the new measures by the state to order people home and closing lots of businesses. That is all done to battle the COVID-19 and the Corona virus. However, the Police is acting up and using colonial means to stop people from being around.

Instead of trying to common sense, even talk. They are using batons and using weapons against citizens. They are arresting and putting them on the back of pickups. They are collected together in small spaces, put on their knees and awaiting further bad treatment from the police. This is the misuse of power. Instead of understanding the issues with the Liknoi Ferry or anywhere else. Instad of trying to understand the fruit-seller. The police is using violence and brutality.

They are instead of educating the general public on social distancing, which is needed in this time. The Police are actually using other means. They are actually gathering the public and putting them together. In ways which is dangerous for spreading the virus. Which is the reason for the curfew or the lock-down measures. These sort of measures made to stop the public from being out and about.

Yes, the public should stay home, but also have to recollect. As there are a grand public who lacks funds, who lacks fiscal funding to survive in this trying times. It is not like the state has configured extra money or pay-offs for the civil servants or the informal sectors in the Republics. They just got to survive the days at home without a salary. They are cut off from work and has no compensation.

The states should see this, but the Kenyan or Ugandan government haven’t figured this out. They are instead using the army and police to brutally assault citizens who are still out and about. This is the sort of violence that triggers more fear not a solidarity to stay home. They are more frightened and concerned, instead of being educated and get a deeper understanding of why these measures was made. That is what a police officer or soldier should explain to the vendor, the hawker or whoever they pass by on the streets. Not beat on them like crazy… that is not making things better, but instead… worse.

In both republic’s the police needs a lesson. They need to know better. They are hitting the tax-payer. They are violating their rights. This is something the High Ranking Police Commanders needs to answer for. They need to answer and come correct, because the last 48 hours they been all wrong.

This is police brutality and its unforgivable. They are using batons on civilians. This is really terrible. Tragic. The pain and suffering these citizens has, just because they were in the wrong place and at the wrong time. Because of that, they we’re hurt and assaulted. These people deserved to be treated equally and not met with violence.

However, that was the prescription from the Police. They need to answer for this and also answer to the victims. Who were stacked together in the times of social distancing. Seriously, how dangerous are you and how are misusing your power? Peace.
