Opinion: Indifference from the public is a gift to the Political Sphere!

news-media-standards

We live in a day and age where the content of information is accessible at any time of the day on all kind of formats. It isn’t only pamphlets, posters, newspapers and books. But there are blogs like this; it is digital videos, cable-TV, social-media and all the other ways of gaining information with or without membership pay-walls for the content. In that world of constant ability to gain this, it can either feed the hunger for knowledge or become tiring for the people as the constant newsflashes and breaking news can make your mind boggle and wonder what is really important.  Therefore before I continue let see a main definitions of Indifference!

Definitions of the Word:

“lack of interest in or concern about something: an indifferent attitude or feeling” (…)” 1:  the quality, state, or fact of being indifferent

2a archaic :  lack of difference or distinction between two or more things b :  absence of compulsion to or toward one thing or another” (Meriam Webster Dictionary).

As I tried to explain brief in this time and day, we’re all access to information and ability to download reports, getting brief headlines and watching reports on TV or tablets the clarity of what is important can sometimes not sink in. As we check the normal suspects for the commentary or the capability to get news and become reasonable updated on the matters at hand. Though there are stories lost and we can’t know what happens at every corner of the world, than we are stuck between all screens and behind every tweet dropped every hour of the day. We’ll live in a forever groundhog day and wish that we had comic talent of Bill Murray instead of trying to get up to date with current news.

tabloid-6

The fear is with the level of information, the different formats and the ability of entertainment and tabloid news. The simplistic and breaking is taking over for the hardcore policy discussions as the direct terror threats and artists dismissals seems more important than the issues of trading and health care policies. The indifference towards the reasons behind the migrations and the reasons for the crisis in Syria for instance are lost in the battle against terror. The devastating idea for why Tunisia, Libya and other states who was has been under fire since the Arab spring have been lost in tales of Clinton and British death, instead of the iconic and important support to build state institutions for the citizens. In countries that before this we’re built around grand dictators like Ben Ali and Gaddafi. Therefore the indifference to the solutions and the real deal behind the fragile state is worrying.

The worrying indifference to the abysmal understanding of the financial structure of Greece and Italy, as the banks of Italy are in limbo; while the state sales and economic liberation while drowning a debt-burden Greece in more greasy debt as they trying to cope with the level of migrations. We should ask ourselves if the European Union forgot counting people or building swimming-pools for the new rich investor elites that got ability to buy state-resources and key installations like Piraeus port harbor for few cents on the dollar. Therefore the indifference for the swallowing the pride and the reactions this might have for the Greek state.

Kagame Kabila Nkurunziza

The indifference for rigging elections and supporting peacekeeping armies on the African continent, while the UN Peacekeepers in C.A.R. are using their power to rape and destroy, not only generate peace, as the UN Mission in Western Sahara is more a luxurious club for diplomates than generating mediation and justice for the people under siege from Morocco. But the world is silent. That the DRC are planning to exile more opposition or even detain them before the General Election for a third term for President Kabila and nobody flick their eyes. While the opposition is under siege in Rwanda, but President Kagame is hailed for the economic recovery as the totalitarian leader are oppressive and using forces in the Kivu’s to still steal resources from the Congo. The world doesn’t care or tries to forget. While the Burundi are still in crisis as the third term of President Nkurunziza is bloody, friends and foes of the President vanish and assassinated, while the Inclusive Dialogue by EAC and AU under former Tanzanian President Mpaka are at a standstill. So the state of affairs is far from beautiful. The indifference to matters is staggering as the knowledge of these actions shouldn’t be forgotten.

I wonder if I feel alone on it, like so many didn’t notice the skirmishes and the recent battles from the militias in Beni, in Democratic Republic of Congo. If it was just the Congolese diaspora who wore the yellow color clothes on Sunday’s to remember the dead and spread awareness of the continuing warfare in the region. As the world have forgotten the violence and want to be rest assure that the cobalt and other resources need in the smartphones are exported to factories far away.

The ignorance and indifference are so big as the cable-news and grand media-houses focus on the click-bait and easy journalism instead of digging deep and having questions to the matters. Only following the money, the money always says how the ethical principles a man or woman has; as a person will only spend money on the things and people that they care about. That is a forgotten one, at one point of time with the PanamaPapers, the big media-houses followed it, but when the leaks when silent the interest dwindled as quickly as the importance of Blackburn in British football, which division are they now in?

niger-militants_BH

We can question if the world really want to care, as the violence, the single handily gun-men going on shooting spree and the endless bloodshed is sad to read about and would make your hard. The continuation of news on the freedom fighters or guerrilla of Niger Delta Avengers would be less interesting as long as they’re a giant force in Boko Haram that are steadily doing abductions, kidnaps and killings in Cameroon and Nigeria.

We can’t be able to be refreshed and know about all issues worldwide, but at least not care more about Pokemon Go, Donald Trump’s latest racist tweet or a Stephen Colbert skit. They might a moment of joy and laugh, but with the possible knowledge of destruction, lose forces and able information, we as people shouldn’t let this just go on without questioning the powers to be.

Because as long as the public is kept in the shadow and not knowing, the people will not be able to see what the government or civil society is doing. That gives leeway to do whatever. So with this in mind the people should be interested and question, wonder and check the resources and ability to gain information on the matters. Either if it by Youtube, library or on the newsstand; the government have it easier with ignorant public sphere and indifference to matters both domestic and international, as they don’t have to take a stand and change policy as long as the people doesn’t act upon the issue. Therefore the knowledge and questioning the businesses, government and NGO’s happens when the citizen’s acts upon what we know. Indifference is only earning the government and the ones that already are in power, the danger for them is if we already knows and can anticipate their moves. Because if so, then they can’t away with thieving, lying and deceit of public will. Indifference of this gives way and is a gift to political sphere. Peace.

Opinion: Past and Present – Rwandan and Ugandan sponsoring proxy Guerrillas and Militias in the DRC, and is sad about the world ignorance of these activities.

kagame-kabila

What is my worry, well; it’s these warlords, generals in Politics, not ordinary men trying to become legislators, the former civilians, but these men who went with guns into battle and guerrilla; finally taking over and controlling nations, controlling territories with militias and youth wings that disperse and assassinate people. This happens with own Warlords, Proxy-Militias, Guerrillas and serious amount of looting from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I will look quickly into it and explain how I see it, with the looting and little responsibility, since this a question that should be asked, again and again, until there are taken down the men who support the militias, the guerrillas and warlords in the DRC.

That is where I am going as there are so many Warlords that have entered from the DRC during the last two decades; certain ones have earned lots on it and gotten away, like Gen. Paul Kagame, the former Intelligence Officer for Gen. Museveni. These are now Presidents of Rwanda and Uganda, as Kagame have been in central government of Rwanda since 1994, and Museveni have been in charge since 1986. The both took Power with the gun, and are still using it at any point of possibility.

Rwanda has had the CNDP (National Congress for the Defence of the People) that was established by Laurent Nkunda, they we’re a militia from 2006 to 2009, became a political party, while Nkunda have been in exile and in peace in Kigali. The others have been FDLR that have both fighting the FARDC (Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo) and other militias. This fighting have been in mineral rich areas, both gold, cobalt and earth minerals that are used in cellphones, aircrafts and other important industrial production in the west and technology we are all used too, and expect naturally to be there.

M23 Picture

There is also Allied Defense Force (ADF-NALU) that is militias that came from Rwenzori region in Uganda, and have been moved over to the DRC. With that in mind they have constantly taken areas and territory with both minerals and burning villages, while not the focus of international media, as the other Ugandan Rebels of LRA have gotten, as they went from Northern Uganda, into DRC forest, then the armies of UPDF (Uganda People’s Defense Force) and FARDC pushed them into the uncertain areas of Central African Republic (C.A.R.) with their ‘Operation Thunder’.

With all of these militias, the biggest one of late M23 (Mouvement du 23-March) who controlled areas for 20 months before the peace-agreement, but the M23 leadership had deliverance of weapons from Uganda, as there was reported training in Kisoro, Uganda and Gisenyi of Rwanda. As the main routes for minerals from Democratic Republic of Congo towards the Rwanda; and there are over Rwenzori and Kabale from Congo as well. So with the well-known knowledge of the looting of DRC, the levels of impunity and fragile borders have been used by Rwandan and Ugandan Government earned money on the inflicted militias.

DRC Minerals

There been so much money involved that at one point the 2002 U.N. Panel  of Experts  report on Congo further notes: “A reliable source associated with the Congo Desk have circulated that income to the Desk provided 80 per cent of all RPA expenditure of 1999. The official Rwandan budget for 1999 allocated $80 million to the military… The Congo Desk’s contribution to the Rwandan’s military expenses would therefore have been in order of $320 million. The activities funded by revenues generated by number of domains. These transaction are, however, hidden from scrutiny of international organization,” U.N. Security Council “Final Report of the Panel of Experts” 5/2002/1164 Para 71.

With that in mind, as this was in the middle of the war that happen and took control of the nation together with Uganda, which toppled the Mobutu-Regime. As they we’re reporting on point: “Now it is Kabila, whose steady rebel advance has turned into a juggernaut, who apparently can afford to be coy. His rebels are less than 150 miles from Kinshasa and on Friday added the northwestern city of Lisala–Mobutu’s birthplace–to their conquests” (…)”Truckers attempting to bring food to Kinshasa returned home empty Friday, saying they turned back at Mbankana, a village 50 miles east of the capital, because the road was blocked by fleeing government soldiers and the rebel advance” (…)”Before the meeting, Kabila had said he was prepared only to discuss Mobutu’s swift departure from power. Aides to Mobutu, however, said the president wanted to obtain a cease-fire, to be followed by negotiations for a democratic transition in Zaire. Asked whether Mobutu would announce his resignation, Mobutu’s chief of staff Felix Vunduwe, said, “No. Why should he?” Overshadowing the diplomatic maneuvers has been the rebels’ swift advance, which has exceeded the expectations of military observers. “There’s obviously a plan they’re working to, and they’re doing a very good job at it,” said one diplomat” (Daniszewski, 1997). As this was the beginning, and certainly the Rwandan helpers was paid for their help. Something that was shown by the UN Security Council in 2002; still there haven’t been done much about it, as the violence and killings have lingered and done to this day.

Digging600

Now it is not Laurent-Désiré Kabila that only did his duty towards the men who put him in power and set in his son into power as well. With the history in mind there are really been looting of the Democratic Republic of Congo, as with the recent knowledge of court justice that says this: “Rubaga South MP Ken Lukyamuzi and other lawmakers, quoting an August 27 Daily Monitor story, demanded to know who was behind the plunder of DRC. “We would like to know the people who committed these atrocities in DRC and how we are going to pay DRC before our country is mortgaged,” Mr Lukyamuzi said. He added: “Our country is about to be mortgaged and none of us can afford to pay Shs82.8 trillion because we are one of the poorest nations.” (Mugerwa, 2015).  This was reported on what the Ugandans did in the DRC: “According to press accounts, the ICJ began hearing the DRC’s case against Uganda on April 11.  The Congolese delegation, headed by Justice Minister Honorius Kisimba Ngoy, reportedly called for the Ugandans to pay $10 billion in reparations for a host of crimes allegedly committed by Ugandan forces in the Congo from 1998-2003, including murder,  human rights abuses, destruction of public property and illegal exploitation of the Congo’s natural resources.  The Congolese also reportedly claimed that the Ugandans’ main objective had been to overthrow the Congolese government in Kinshasa, and cited public statements by Ugandan authorities to bolster their case.  Press accounts said the Ugandan side rejected these accusations and explained that Uganda had acted to protect its own territory from rebels based in the DRC” (WikiLeaks, 2005).

So with the big money in the looting, even if the official armies are out of Democratic Republic of Congo, wouldn’t Rwanda and Uganda, still earn big bucks on having proxy militias in the DRC as they would always earn good monies on the mineral resources… with the history and the “house-arrest” of Laurent Nkunda in Kigali, proved the connection between Rwandan Militias and the DRC, the same can be said with the M23 that have been pardoned and left in military camps in Kisoro and then went over with military training and weapons from Uganda unto the rebels who even forced the hand of Joseph Kabila.

drc-mineralssupplychain1

The chronic issue is that in the midst of this the training have in the Kivu’s have happened in the midst of Internally Displaced Camps and Refugee camps, where both the arms and military training of the militias, that either Interahamwe or Génocidaire who the Rwandan have fought and used as reason for their presence instead of their looting of Congo. That can be proven with the soft actions toward Nkunda, as he has not really been punished, the same with the treatment in Kampala for the leadership of M23. While others have been delivered to the ICC, but not key figures in the supply chain from the Ugandan and Rwandan Government; as there haven’t been questions of the Gen. Salim Selah or others who have been in charge of certain ones have deserved scrutiny from the international world!

As much as the Ugandans army has been involved in the DRC, they have also been together with SPLA/SPLM under President Salva Kiir, as they both have together fought LRA and opposition of the South Sudanese, as President Museveni wants loyal leaders in the region, so that they can all bounce on each other. President Kiir had the support without consent or mission from the United Nations to control the rebels of SPLM-IO and others who didn’t like the sacking of VP Riek Machar. As he is now reinstated the fighting is not between them and the Ugandan army is supposed to be out, as there is not mineral rich in the sense of DRC. If the Ugandans wanted a stake in the oil money there, that would be through military support to suppress the ones who does not want to support Kiir as the head in charge.

Ugandan and Rwandan governments involvement in rebels, in militias, guerrillas in Congo, is not a question worth answering yes or no, it is yes, and that there is still militias that are foreign supported as the Kinyarwanda speaking forces have been collected stripes in the Kivu’s and even French speaking mercenaries have been deployed in Kampala during election period, there are certainly significant connection and monies at stake. The Ugandan and Rwandan want Kabila Reign to continue, as he lets rob and steal for a percentage of the spoils, instead of actually govern, that is why the citizens concerned with killings in Beni in May 2016, was really oppressed, while on the birthday anniversary for the President on the 4th June, they we’re allowed to walk the streets; the impunity and arrogance while the militias, the proxy guerrillas to loot Congo. What saddens me, is the silence, the ignorance, the little care for the violence and killings, the wrong zip-code as it doesn’t matter, but the mineral resources can easily be taken and used in our modern society and smart-phones.

Why are the so little actions from the world society towards the Ugandan and Rwandan Government when they are sponsoring these militias and guerrillas in the Congo and the Kivu’s? That is what I wonder about… this is happening and there is no reactions or real movements, there are some blue-helmets, but they are a stand-by force with no will. The others let the Rwandan and Ugandan does as they please, as the FARDC doesn’t have the commando or the will to act towards them, as they have had a decade to get rid of these proxy miltias; and they are still there earning money on exporting minerals. Something is wrong with that picture, if you don’t see how the Kinshasa-Government are letting the Rwandan and Ugandan friends eat of the Kivu’s, as they would have taken more command, if they didn’t have agreement between Kabila, Kagame and Museveni. I hope you see, what I see? Peace.

DRC – More on Beni, North Kivu; FDLR in splitting in two militias? That being FDLR-Foca and CNRD-Ubwiyunge!

«Eringeti, North Kivu Province, DR Congo: The MONUSCO Deputy Force Commander, Major General Jean Baillaud and Major General Leo Mushale of the DR Congo Armed Forces, speaking to media, in Kasana camp, on Operation "Usalama" against the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF). Photo MONUSCO/Abel Kavanagh»

There are new reports and it is unsettling, that is not that I have grand expose, but it should be questioned. The concern is for the North and South Kivu, also in Ituri Province. Where there are not only Allied Democratic Force (ADF) and the Democratic Forces Liberation Rwanda (FDLR).

The recent reports are talking of split in the FLDR. There are now two sides of the coin and there have become a FDLR-Foca, have spilt with Gen. Wilson Irategeta who has created the CNRD-Ubwiyunge. This happens after Wilson Iretegeta was suspended as 2 Vice-President; therefore he made a decision and created a new guerrilla, instead of still being demoted in the FDLR-Foca.

What the UNICEF said recently:

“in North Kivu and Ituri provinces, as armed groups, including the Forces Democratiques pour la Liberation du Rwanda (FDLR), and several Mai-Mai groups carried out brutal attacks against civilians and the FARDC. Fighting between armed groups and the FARDC continued to generate mass population displacement, particularly in North Kivu and Ituri provinces, with 200,000 new IDP’s since the beginning of 2016” (DRC Humanitarian Situation Report March April – UNICEF, 2016).

FARDC Beni May 2016

With this in mind and with what happen in May 2016, where the massacre in Beni happen under the watch of FARDC, and the militias, even Ex-FAR Gen. Muhindo Akili Mundos have been implicated in “Cleansing” areas as paying soldiers per head of the dead. So there are violence put into motion, not only by the known forces, but also by deflectors. As the Rwandan FDLR who has spilt into two, FDLR-Foca and CNRD-Ubwiyunge, with the knowledge of Mai-Mai or Mayi-Mayi depending on how you write it. Then you have the Ugandan rebels from ADF who also keeps certain villages and areas to themselves.

There so many groups and warlords, while the MONUSCO, the Blue Helmets just watches, as the known secret is that even in Refugee and Internally Displaced Camps there are not only guns and training by certain militias, but also done in while the Blue Helmets are eating lunch there. Still, the silence happens while the civilians and such are fleeing.

If you wonder what they are able to do watch this:

After the Recent massacre they are calling Beni a “ghost-town” not in such as they have ghost-voters and ghost-schools for Kabila Government to embezzle state-funds, instead it is ghost-town because of the violence and killings, with also knowledge of fear of continuation from both the men from Gen. Mundos and ADF. While not too far away to the areas controlled by either FDLR-Foca or CNRD-Ubwiyunge.

“Anastase Kamuhanda (with Congolese telephone number), the NDRC Ubwiyunge lists claws brought against Major General Victor Byiringiro: he has no vision for the military conduct of the movement armed, does not respect the decisions taken in committee, tarnishes the image of the rebellion, and would have fired on a convoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for refugees and the Congolese refugee Commission. The National Council for Renewal and Democracy (CNRD-Ubwiyunge ) said have the ambition to go “with dignity” Rwandan refugees in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The movement also announced to want to fight for political change in Rwanda” (…)”As for the FDLR, it refutes the allegations of the dissidents. And they are accused of betraying the cause and work with the Rwandan government. “The Congolese government has himself said that the convoy had been attacked by an unidentified armed group,” it said among other reactions” (Echos du Rwanda, 02.06.2016).

North Kivu view

The way that this now is unfolding, that the Rwandan are claiming and holding up the Congolese Government statement, proves that they knows more then they say, as if they we’re not involved in business in the Kivu’s they would not have addressed a “unidentified armed group”, and what does that mean? That is vague and vanilla, instead of addressing it properly.

Just as this statement said about 3rd May around Beni:

“The MRL sympathizes with the families of at least 17 people were killed Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the evening by suspected rebels ADF about 60 kilometers north-east of the town of Beni in North Kivu . Julien Paluku, governor of North Kivu, said that efforts are being made on the ground to deal with the perpetrators of these dastardly and heinous massacres and thereby bring peace to this part of the DRC” (Mouvement des Réformateurs Libéraux, 09.05.2016).

What is saddening me is how little ripple effect the writing and questioning this militias and fortunes earned on the mineral-rich provinces of Kivu’s and Ituri. They are violated by Rwandan and Ugandan militias, while Uganda export Cobalt and gold in vast amounts, the same happens in Kigali and that is Rwanda. They are earning fortunes and wealth on the killings and depleting the areas where they do not reside. While nobody is interesting in stopping it, the Blue-Helmets are a standby force who doesn’t even stop the supply of small-arm weapons in the IDPs Camps in the Kivu’s. That is worrying… and should worry about the violence without impunity and the length of the conflict in provinces. The silence and the little care for stopping it. While the minerals are exported at a steady pace to industrial countries… some even exporting weapons back to the area.

There are reckless behavior if it from the Militias, the Warlords, the Blue-Helmets and the Central Government of the Congo. That the DRC authorities, who act silent on this as the FARDC are not really getting rid of the militias, while the killings in the Province continue and the doubling down on the actions in North Kivu. So there are reasons for the spreading the reports and show that there are violence and killings in the Kivu’s and not letting it, because they deserve peace and justice, like everybody else, even if there is a bit to much of Cobalt in the region… Peace.

Rwanda – Another Term for Paul Kagame (Youtube-Clip)

“The government of Rwanda says its citizens want long-serving president Paul Kagame to be able to serve another term” (TV2 Africa, 2016).

“The Americans should not blame one hand and wash the other, but that is what they do”; their current policy in Central and Eastern Africa; as they planning sanctions towards the DR Congo after the intimidation of their opposition!

John Kerry ABC

I was reading today the American Government are planning to add sanctions on the Congolese Authorities, to be precise the Democratic Republic of Congo, the President Joseph Kabila and his cadres in the central government in Kinshasa, after the house-arrest, hard treatment of Opposition and dispersing of public protest after the recent massacre in Beni, North Kivu Province.

I am supposed to be happy that the American Government and the people around Secretary for Foreign Affairs John Kerry wants to do something else than smile and cheers, other than silent diplomacy and actually act. Why I am so disgusted that these men are actually doing something. That is not how I am supposed to feel, right?

I am supposed to be giddy that the American Government acts and propose to inflict harm on the leadership that sponsor and hurt their own civilians and creates havoc to control power, instead of honouring principals of democracy and fair business partnership with the rest of world. Sincerely, I am not.

Katumbi

This is not how it’s supposed to be, the distinctive joy should be on my face as there is finally some action, but there is not. These actions should not just happen because of Moïse Katumi of the G-7, is hurt and hospitalized in Johannesburg, South Africa. That is not events and wished effects of standing against the big-man of the last decade Mzee, Joseph Kabila. Well, so why is this feeling so strange and why is the taste of the matter so wrong. Maybe it is because of general bigger picture, as my mind is inflicting on the currents actions elsewhere in the neighbourhood of the DRC. I am still supposed to be general happy that Mr. Kerry finally offers two fishes and two breads to the world. Still, it seems like fatigue and displeasure for the American Government.

Maybe, it is because they are not doing the same to Rwandan Government and President Paul Kagame, who are keeping his worst enemy and opposition figure lingering in jail like she is a terrorist; and not a fellow opposition, while toying around with a DPGR who has no power what-so ever. While the President hassle with the rest of them and pin them down if they don’t follow his moral decency and his leadership. That is why even the ones in the closest circle have fled the country and later been silenced. Still, though the American Government still support the regime and does it silently too. But hey that is diplomacy.

Zanzibar Election 2016

While the American Government have troubles with the recent Zanzibar Elections and the troubled control of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) who won the elections. Therefore the USAID agency the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) suspended their aid and electricity projects in Tanzania. Because of the Zanzibar Election that was flawed they did this and stopped the actual development for the ethics. Back then, it was supposed to make me happy, but it didn’t.

Still, the issues with the Ugandan government, the favourable ally of the American Government and their made-man President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who has no hassle with having a well rigged election, a sham election and steal the whole Parliament, take the voters and ballots while deploying army and police force intimidating the population. Still, enforcing rules and laws that controls the Opposition parties; while also detaining them who was crossing the ruling regime in the word of “defiance”. Even smashing them and detaining the leader in treason after the election. Still, also forcing the American and other if they question the ruler and his regime they pull out of the Central African Republic and even AMISOM. So the Ally would not like to be played with, even if they go against the values of the donors or the traits that offered the blessing of the state coffers before. Even if the Americans are walking out because of ICC statements, but nothing seriously since they are allies they still want to forge the relations between the Americans and the Ugandan. That makes me mind vomit in disgust of the acts of these, as they can detain and harass fellow citizen without no mercy, while the other gets punished.

Kampala 11.05.2016

I was supposed to be happy about the electoral flawed election in Zanzibar and the suspension of aid projects in Tanzania. I wasn’t as they still flow the money to Uganda when they have had general election made in the name of the Executive and the NRM elite, but nothing has happen of sort from Americans. The Democratic Republic of Congo have might a smidge of freight and intimidation towards the Opposition and then the Americans plans to suspends it; while in Uganda the Opposition are detained, oppressed and tortured while the NRM lingers in Power. The Americans are silent and supporting the Regime with arms and guns to fight other wars for them, therefore they are silent and not trying to offend.

It is not like it is wrong in general of the American Government to approach and question the Tanzanian and Congolese governments, more that they are throwing the stones in a glass house. They are shooting canons at the birds. There is something wrong with the whole picture.

KabilaCartoon

I am disgusted because of the reasoning, and the worry of the state of affairs. We can see the double standard of the approach from the American Government towards the Congolese and Ugandans; the double standard between the Tanzanian and the Ugandans. So with that in mind the Tanzanian and Congolese have to answer to Washington to get their meal ticket. While the Ugandan are allowed to eat at the table without nearly question.

It is not that Kabila are a man I admire or respect. Not that I respect Kagame or his cadres. While the walking thunders of governance under President Magufuli, still his government secured his man in Zanzibar, he proves to be a man of leadership when it earns his coins. While it is justified to stop the projects, still questionable moral leadership from the Americans… since they let everybody else get away with it. The Ugandan is a torn in the flesh of the Americans; he should be the modern day Mobutu Sese Seko of Gbadolit and the Zaire Republic.

Paul Kagame. P3jpg

Just like the American Government accepted the Ugandan and Rwandan forces in taking down the Mobutu, they might strike again against Museveni, though I doubt it at this time; since they still need him in C.A.R. and Somalia. Though their double standards towards Kabila and Magufuli are not justified as long as they are allied with Museveni; that is what makes me vomit and hassle with them.

The rules of the game are different between them and the rest. The Americans accept that the Ugandans violates everything as long as they use their lives and guns in battles they don’t want to be part of, but just support. Instead the Tanzanian and Congolese who does practically the same ends up with a bargain or punished as they are hustled by the Americans. That is why I wasn’t happy and why it feels wrong.

BENi 2016 Panzi

Not that it is not deserved towards President Kabila and the Congolese Authorities; who doesn’t stop the killings in Beni, North Kivu. So with that in mind, it is in the decency of the Americans to give him sanctions; but instead they do so because of the oppression of the opposition. This happens while Dr. Kizza Besigye lingers in jail and the FDC leaders are detained and house-arrested. That does not get punished. The bad election of Tanzania gets punished, but the Ugandan is a sham and still does not get punished.

Certainly the Americans are selling themselves short, or acting a fool. They are making people vomit of their arrogance. As their rules are played around like wild-cards depending on their current allies, as the Mobutu at some point was getting all the glory as the Swamp-Monster killed Patrice Lumumba and the CIA was reported to be involved. Though the silence are rimming deep, while the American got their loyal cadre Mobutu to be set on the throne and do their policy.

So now that Kabila is not a loyal cadre of Washington and doesn’t answer to them. Therefore he is punished, even doing the same as Museveni, still Museveni can walk like proud-cock in Kampala without fear while he torture his own. The Americans must walk around in Glory. John Kerry must think solid of this policy amongst his men and the banks keeping the pocketed politicians on the hill, and they dance to the tunes that cover their war-chest .

I should be happy today, but I am not, I am tired, I am pissed, I am disgusted and rancid of this mess of an approach of a power to intervene and make a difference. Instead they build themselves ivory tower on borrowed yields, deceive and keeps on with deception instead of real sustainable actions. There should be honour and the should be brave. Instead there are lies and weak rhetoric and double standard. Washington and the Capitol Hill should not blame one hand and wash the other, but that is what they do. Therefore step up your game as people like me see right through you! Peace.

“Millions of Congolese have lost their lives in a conflict that the United Nations describes as the deadliest in the world since World War Two. Rwanda and Uganda, invaded in 1996 the Congo (then Zaire) and again in 1998, which triggered the enormous loss of lives, systemic sexual violence and rape, and widespread looting of Congo’s spectacular natural wealth. The ongoing conflict, instability, weak institutions, dependency and impoverishment in the Congo are a product of a 125 year tragic experience of enslavement, forced labor, colonial rule, assassinations, dictatorship, wars, external intervention and corrupt rule. Analysts in the film examine whether U.S. corporate and government policies that support strongmen and prioritize profit over the people have contributed to and exacerbated the tragic instability in the heart of Africa” (Documentary Channel, 2016).
