RDC – Sud Kivu: “Objet: Denonciation de l’irresponsabilite politique de Monsieur Justin Bitawira” (29.01.2018)

Tomorrow is the day, 30th January 2018 at Uhuru Park, where the President Raila Amolo Odinga and Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka will swear themselves in President and Vice-president. This is why the Jubilee government and the incumbent team of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto. They are awaiting using the whole security apparatus. This being the Kenya Defense Force (KDF) and National Police Service.
We can expect that Nairobi County Police Commander Japheth Koome who seemingly are ready to stop the Swearing-In of Odinga. They have said they would stop the rally. As well as Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has closed the Uhuru Park for renovation, even if NASA had paid for the venue and secured the venue long before. The Jubilee governor will be loyal to the President and Jubilee. The same as the Media who was threaten on Friday 26th January 2018. That they would not live broadcast the ceremony or follow it.
Since the Police and the military are ready to renegade against the masses of supporters. Since Jubilee know they we’re humiliated on Jamhuri Day, the 12th December when the stadium was empty and only the chickens who voted showed up. Tomorrow is only happening because of the open-air bazaar made by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on the 8th August 2017 and the 26th October 2017. Both times the IEBC and providers altered the results to fit Kenyatta. Now he wants legitimacy and uses all sort of ploys to get it.
He uses Cambridge Analytica, he uses the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) who even forged his recent title as “Youth Ambassador” at UNICEF. Even I got caught in the web, displeased by the honorary title for a man like Kenyatta. Forgive me for attack UNICEF. This wasn’t their doing, it was all PSCU handy-work. We can wonder what kind of stories they cook-up for tomorrow.
We can wonder how many fake papers and documents that will be flooded. Because we can wonder, even today there was leaked a fake Curfew document signed by CS Fred Matiangi. That seemed real for a minute, even before KTN and other sources debunked it. Because the Jubilee government and Police Service in Nairobi has outlawed the Swearing-In at Uhuru Park. While the Jubilee government worked in secret to involve the army as well. That meaning a total lock-down of the Uhuru Park, also closing off streets and what else to make sure the crowds disperse. That meaning water-canons, tear-gassing and police brutality. We can just imagine, because we have seen how the Security Organizations have brutally gone after the NASA supporters.
That is why I am worried about tomorrow. Kenyatta and Ruto could use their powers within the army and police to squash any activity. We should worry what efforts being made to stop it and what sinister plans the Kenyatta Presidency has to secure their Power. Because they have already killed demonstrators and they have assaulted innocent people so they would fear to question his rule. That is what is worrying me about tomorrow.
Not that I respect Kenyatta or Ruto. I don’t, not a single piece of me respects the thieves-in-command and the enforcers of violence. I cannot subscribe to that, however, I fear their violence and the lives that are taken for staying in power. Because the killings and the innocent lives taken is on their account, but I don’t expect them to pay for it. They will only make it worse for Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. The whole NASA team will suffer.
Unless, this is a start of a Revolution, where the People’s Assemblies and the Resistance will be given a boost. NASA can either boost or loose it. However, NASA can win big on this, but Jubilee can overcome it. Not by force, but with not caring and giving way. Because then the NASA plan would not be sufficient. Since the Jubilee would recognize their existence. That would be ultimate insult, however, the NASA usually suffers for their demonstrations and rallies. I expect the same tomorrow.
Even if you want freedom and democracy, it has a cost, it has already cost a lot and many has lost their lives for it. Many has paid the ultimate price, so that other can continue the good struggle. That doesn’t mean, we shouldn’t fear tomorrow and the assaults on innocent people. The impunity and the injustice served the people on orders by the State House. While the PSCU are cooking new stories for Githeri Media to publish. Hopefully, I am not caught in the wind like the UNICEF.
I want the best, but fear for the worst. Peace.

Today in not breaking news, the Jubilee government, the new Uhuru Kenyatta Cabinet and the whole official government of Kenya will not recognize Raila Odinga and his actions on 30th January 2018. As he is swearing-in himself at the Uhuru Park, because Odinga and National Super Alliance (NASA) isn’t recognizing the Jubilee election in 2017. All of these is the August 8th 2017 and the October 26th 2017. Both of them was fraudulent and rigged in favor of Jubilee. That is something Deputy President William Ruto doesn’t care about. Because he earned on it and lives on the rigged environment. Which was legitimized by the Supreme Court, but that after intimidation and after harassment of the Courts after the nullification in September 2017. Therefore, that DP Ruto isn’t accepting Odinga is written in the stars.
Just take a look:
“The government does not recognise the planned swearing-in of Nasa leader Raila Odinga as the people’s president, Deputy President William Ruto has said” (…) “Speaking on Sunday at a church service in Buru Buru, Nairobi, Mr Ruto said the election period is over and the government is now focussing on development. “The people had decided on their leaders during the elections and that’s a closed chapter,” he said. The DP said the government would serve all Kenyans, including those who did not vote for Jubilee to bring development,” Mr Ruto said” (Owino, 2018).
It is weird that an administration after two elections continue to talk about development and stop politicking. That has to say that the other not recognized. DP Ruto should be relentless, but he is on the defensive, because deep down he knows what the IEBC was doing and how the Jubilee did rig in 2017. There are to many loose evidence and sealed of servers connected to Cambridge Analytica, while OT Morpho has later gotten tenders after the elections for service rendered. There are enough proof of eventual rigging. Therefore, he is not legitimate himself and the Jubilee asked for legitimacy after the 26th October 2017 election. After the slowest announcement of winner in a while. The IEBC used days to count the votes and alter the results. Therefore, DP Ruto, should be more careful addressing Odinga. Because Ruto doesn’t have the leverage that Odinga got.
DP Ruto wants it to be closed chapter, but he is the thief who doesn’t want his crime to revealed. He thinks he has pulled of the perfect crime, the Oceans 11 and the Italian Job. However, Mission Impossible, isn’t impossible, but possible. It a hassle, but in full affect. DP Ruto can say that the Kenyan people already decided, but if he was more honest it was algorithms and bots who voted. It could be dead hyenas and chickens for all we know. Because there was lack of crowds and cues at the polling stations on the 26th October 2017. There was in August 2017, but that one was so rigged that the numbers went from soup to steak.
So DP Ruto feel the pressure of NASA and its undermining the government. It is making the Jubilee look weak and foolish. Like they are the ghosts they really are. They wasn’t really elected, therefore Odinga doing this. Questions their rights to announce a cabinet and run a government. This makes the insecurity and power-vacuum more clear, because everyone knows that Thirdway and Aukot isn’t a serious opposition to Jubilee. Neither is NASA, since it’s the Jubilee who is supposed to be for NASA.
DP Ruto doesn’t want to be opposition that is why he left ODM/CORD into the Jubilee Alliance before the previous elections. He doesn’t want to look dumb, but he is lying. He is trying to act confident, but he knows what is at stakes. The Jubilee will struggle to convince people that they are sincere, since they have already stolen their possession and their power.
It will come a day and a time, where they will answer for this. They will not be able to steal and deal forever. The missing links will be caught and the time, when the suns stops to shine and thieves cannot follow their shadow. It is the time to strike back. NASA knows this and Jubilee can say they are not recognizing Odinga. But we all knew that, but Jubilee should worry about how many who doesn’t recognize them. They are plenty and important. Peace.

The Secretary-General condemns the killing of a peacekeeper from Pakistan deployed with the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) following an ambush by members of an armed group today near Lulimba, 96 km south west of Baraka, in South Kivu Province. At least one other peacekeeper was wounded in the attack.
The Secretary-General extends his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and to the people and government of Pakistan. He wishes a speedy recovery to the injured and calls on those responsible for this attack to be brought to justice.
The Secretary-General reiterates his call on armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to lay down their arms and seek to resolve their grievances peacefully. He reaffirms the readiness of MONUSCO and the United Nations system to continue working with the authorities of the DRC to help address the security challenges facing the country.

There was scheduled Presidential Elections in November 2016, as the end of the second official term of President Joseph Kabila would end on the 19th December 2016. However, we are in January 2018 and days away from February 2018. Still, there are no credible movement or changes within the leadership or the government to prepare for a genuine exercise of a new election. It’s unlikely that CENI will deliver, not matter sort of international pressure. That is proven by the first Press Conference in ages or years from the President himself who said this:
““The election budget is 1.2 billion dollars, and I say it quite often, the elections in this country are starting to cost us a lot more than even the development of the country. And at some point we will have to make a choice, will it be necessary to be cited around the world as the most democratic country, or is the development that counts?” he said” (…) “Today, we are nearing the end of enlistment operations in Kasai. We are more or less 46 million voters enlisted. The elections in this country is a vast operation,” said Joseph Kabila” (…) ““We must take the most courageous options and decisions not to fall or fall back into the situation with a budget of 1.2 billion for elections, while we have a total budget of 6 or 7 billions,” added the Congolese president” (Xuequan, 2018).
What is striking that he is using the defense of budget and funds. While his own Republic who had scheduled this ever since he won in November 2011. Could have planned funds ahead for a coming election. If they are a serious government and if it is such a big operations, why did the Kabila government plan it earlier?
A thing that the President should be careful about, is that United Kingdom has already spent funds on Electoral Operations and Electoral Organizations in the years ahead of the 2016 and still supports it with funding. This they do together with United States Aid (USAID). The Development tracker proves that the UK has already donated £6,6m in April 2015 to technical support to the National Electoral Body (CENI), from the same donors £3,5m in April 2015 to civic education, also in April 2015 gotten £2,5m to Election Observers through the Carter Center. In October 2016, the UK donated to promote woman participation in the Election a total of £1m. The DFID has already also pledged for supporting the Electoral Process in total £14,5m. This is just from one Nation to another. That is funds that is already spent and misused. While he is crying foul.
President Kabila should be careful playing with fire, especially since he is creating insecurity with his position. That someone is speaking of delaying election into April 2019. There was already rumored in August 2017 that it would either be in 2019 or 2020. So it is not to far off, after the new timeline was released in November 2017. That was a year after the term ended. Still, there was no international outcry, neither was anyone really supporting the CENCO initiative or trying to force Kabila out.
Kabila has been allowed to stall for time, to buy time and awaiting his next move. Since he didn’t change the Constitution like many other clinging to power Presidents. That was one of his foolish moves, since he really doesn’t want to step and give way for a legitimate President in the Republic. His term already ended 434 days ago or 1 year two months and 8 days ago.
So the saga continues and the postponed election will continue. If it is insecurity or lacking of funds continue. He will use that for his own gain, as reasons not to step down. That if there is coming militias or militants from Burundi, Rwanda or Uganda. While refugees are fleeing from the Republic to Uganda and Angola. Because of the insecurity in North and South Kivu’s, also in Kasai Province. This has not let go.
So I don’t expect any election in 2019 or following the timeline of November 2017. The CENI or Kabila administration has no plan to achieve a new Presidential Election, where Kabila has to step-down. I don’t expect a President who has already registered himself twice for the elections. That he uses expenses and that its a big operation as an excuse. Shows that since he first talked about it now, that he wants to make sure the world knows he is struggling. Even if he could have planned it together with CENI all through 2014 to 2016. Where the timeline could have been met and also fixed the succession. However, President Kabila had no interest of securing his own self leaving power. Therefore, nothing has happen.
Now he has extended his time and showed up in public for a press conference after using brutality and killing demonstrators. Had to show the world he cared and was working on solution. Even if he isn’t, it’s hard to believe he is doing anything when he is already 1 year and 2 months over his ended term. So the ones who has supported the DRC with financial aid between 2015 to 2017 for purpose of Elections, you have been tricked and given money for nothing. That is proven.
Kabila is stalling and using all tricks in the book. Expect Kabila to have more trouble with militias and insecurity, as he is the only key to stop the violence. Even if he initially sponsor it or has connections to the ones who make sure it happens. That is what is very ill about the whole situation. Peace.
