A Rebuttal to Friedman: There is no “lid on Africa” also addressing his misconception on Migration!

The Cambridge Dictionary defines “taking the lid off” as: “to cause something bad that was previously kept secret to be known by the public” (Cambridge Dictionary, Cambridge University Press). A writer like Thomas L. Friedman in the New York times should know this perfectly well, as he used this term in his column ‘ Opinion Can I Ruin Your Dinner Party?’ published on the 7th August 2018. This is the reason for why I writing this. Because of two paragraphs that needs to be addressed, I will first let his words speak, before showing what the EU says about the matter. As a European, the American writer doesn’t make sense.

The key part was:

Toppling Qaddafi without building a new order may go down as the single dumbest action the NATO alliance ever took. It took the lid off Africa, leading to some 600,000 asylum seekers and illegal migrants flocking to Italy’s shores in recent years, with 300,000 staying there and the rest filtering into other E.U. countries. This has created wrangles within the bloc over who should absorb how many migrants and has spawned nationalist-populist backlashes in almost every E.U. country” (Thomas L. Friedman – ‘Opinion Can I Ruin Your Dinner Party?’ 07.08.2018 link: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/07/opinion/can-i-ruin-your-dinner-party.html).

I don’t know in which world Friedman is residing, but the words of the EU, Zelesa and MPC are clearly not opening any jars of uncertainty. Yes, there been a growing amount of illegal and non-asylum seekers through the United Nations or Bilateral Organizations, which they have come from War-Zones as in the past. As the EU Member States takes their quota of refugees and asylum-seekers as a global task of helping people in need, as that cannot happen where they are or they are living in temporary shelters awaiting hopefully a helpful nation to become their guardian. However, no else is saying it is NATO fault or even the fall Qaddafi, which is the reason for crossing across the Mediterranean sea. There is more porous borders as well as the conflict in the Sahel Region that has continued. These are all reasons for the transport of refugees from the rest of the Sub-Saharan Africa. However, there was never a lid to be taken of the continent.

The EU Science Hub states:

Between 2008 and 2016, the total annual number of African migrants remained stable. However, legal immigration was declining in this period, while the number of irregular arrivals and asylum claims of Africans increased. Irregular arrivals of Africans via the Mediterranean started to decline again in 2017.In Europe, the majority of African immigrants come from North Africa, with most people making the move to reunite with family members already settled in a European country” (EU Science Hub – ‘New perspectives on African migration’ 01.07.2018 link: https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/en/news/new-perspectives-african-migration).

EU Project opened more nations for Immigration:

Clearly, African immigration to Europe was marked by increasing diversification both in the number of countries sending and receiving the immigrants. Particularly remarkable was the emergence of the southern European countries, principally Italy, Portugal, and Spain, themselves longstanding emigration countries, as immigration countries. This was as much a product of the improving economic fortunes in these countries and their integration into the prosperity and political sphere of Western Europe as it was of mounting immigration pressures on their borders to the east and the south. Enclosed in a new European transnational space, new identities of ethnicity and citizenship began to emerge that entailed creating both symbolic and material borders to keep away or distinguish the immigrants. The Europeanization of these countries and the rebordering of the Mediterranean that it implied required the separation and stigmatization ofimmigrants from the global South (Suarez-Navaz, 1997; Royo, 2005)” (Paul Tiyambe Zeleza – ‘Africa ‘s Contemporary Global Migrations: Patterns, Perils, and Possibilities’ P: 39, June 2010).

Migration Profile – Libya:

Despite Libya being, first and foremost, a country of immigration, the deterioration of immigrants’ conditions in the country has also made it an important country for transit migration and particularly for the many migrants trying to reach Malta and the Italian Isle of Lampedusa As to emigration patterns, Libya has never recorded significant outward migration flows. However, during the 2011 unrest, there was an upsurge of Libyan nationals fleeing the country. According, though, to the authorities in neighbouring countries, the great majority are believed to already have returned to Libya” (…) “To conclude, two considerations can be made about the impact of the Libyan crisis on international migration movements. On the one hand, Sub Saharan nationals were without any doubt the people most at risk, both in Libya and at the borders (where repatriation activities led to an impasse). On the other hand, the capacity of neighbouring African countries to manage the crisis in terms of the reception of migrants was remarkable. (IOM, 2012)” (Migration Policy Center – ‘MPC – MIGRATION PROFILE Libya, June 2013).

As we can really see, is that what Friedman is saying is wrong. The African Migration to Europe has lasted long. That is not new and has usually followed to the previous Colonizers of the ones migrating. However, with the change of he European Union, has changed that pattern, but not opened up something. The Libyan Crisis and fall of Qaddafi have had is effect. However, the results by the EU and the IOM are stating not as bad as previously stated. Also that the “illegal” are rising, but less of the direct asylum-seekers, meaning their means and ways has changed, but the end-game are more of the same. They are still fleeing from crisis and wars in Sub-Saharan Africa, but they doing so by the shores of Northern Africa crossing into EU Countries.

So, the taking the lid off by invading and deposing Qaddafi seems like far-fetched. That is a lie, also a relic of the past, as Friedman sounds like they opened a box with a box-opener. This was simply done with getting rid of one dictator. He seems like that is the reason for the whole transit in Libya, not the whole conflict within the continent and neither the true nature of it all. As people are doing whatever they can to get shelter and hope for the future, because the International Community isn’t reacting or caring about the oppression in their nations. They are forgotten and know they will not get help, as the Western Powers are boasting these leaders who oppress and then people want to flee from these shores.

No lid was taken, it was never a lid there to begin with? Are there a lid that was opened so that United States could have space for all the slaves in the past? Or is there a lid taken of the brain of Trump? We all, the rest of the world really want to know.

Enough of this nonsense. Peace.

Opinion: President Trump might have the most eloquent speech yesterday, still his acts is what worries me!

trump-abc

It does not matter if he has the most perfect and most suited address of internal American matters or international yesterday in the Congress. That do not affect me B. Since his Executive Orders, Internal Memo’s and all the other tools that he uses to inflict harm and destroy humanity is that concerns a fellow brother like me.

I does not matter to me if he learned a few new words, spoke with his heart and blurred out some common sense yesterday. Since the lack of respect for intelligence and the lack of understanding of the reactions to his own actions are massive. The reason for the concern is the way he can easily pick something out of context and spread it like a disease.

President Trump, your Executive Orders and Presidential Memorandum is the ones that brings fear to me. The insulting ways of not caring what the experts in fields are saying and your lack of grasping the mentality of being the man-in-charge. The title is easy to carry, but to achieve something with honour and grace seems far-fetched at this point. Therefore, we are at crossroads, the crossing has already appeared and your methods are in use.

I cannot look out say since you said something beautiful yesterday and hopeful. Believe that tomorrow you will act like a man, who respect the constitution, international order and be civil. Since your ways is not like that and seems strange if that really would happen. You have an imagination and self-drive that is out of proportion. The sense of justification for your assaults on others is because you are always the victim, even when you strike first. Which is insulting to the rest of us seeing the whole ordeal and hearing it by all cable-TV.

So that you believe in yourself that you can as a PR stunt in a first Presidential Address take away the inflicted pain and suffrage you have already caused, that is not possible. There is a long way, but your immigration rules, the way you have been fixing the ICE agents procedures and attack on anyone questioning your reasons. Does not rule high in my book of proverbs. More likely shows the lack of morals and the lack of integrity a man of Presidential stature is supposed to have.

President Trump and his administration do not care about the effects as long as the rich multi-national companies earns fortunes, if you spill oil in rivers, frack the Midwest like a Swiss Cheese or even put trade-embargoes on Mexico and Canada, who cares as long as Goldman Sachs or any other big financial organizations earns huge profits. The pain of the ordinary person is not important. Therefore if 20 million Americans lose their health insurance is not that important, but what is important is that they pay for their coverage and get rid of the ones that should not have the ability to covered anyway. That is a true American spirit and wishful society, where the wealthy get yachts and hotels, while the poor has decide if they can by McDonalds burger or medication for their daughter. What a wonderful picture of the new America First.

Certainly, Trump must be so brave to take away the help to the poorest, the ones in need so he can spend fortunes upon fortunes on ammunition, guns and hi-tech military equipment, that is how nations is built. Out of the ashes of war and despair comes the grand fortunes of corruption and multi-million progress salvage pack bought and greased by American business. A favourable package for Trump and financial market friends.

Therefore, the words and speech of hope or whatnot yesterday does not matter to me. Because I cannot believe it or think that, it is true. Since his Executive Orders is to free-market policies or to give way to deport, detain or stop immigration at a scale in modern history that cause havoc. Together with the current political climate and the scales of internal conflict, it does not serve the United States, neither the world.

You can in theory claim that a potato is not a potato, still when you look at it and touch it. You know deep in your heart it is a potato and your mind remembers how a potato feels in your hand. Even if Trump now speaks of peace, promise of better day and of another to make America First. Trust me; I do not trust him, not a single bit. That is because of his acts and the way he does not give in. That is why he has in the past always taken things to court and appealed until the others have given in to a settlement instead of what they was entitle to get in the first place. Trump have manoeuvred that way in the past. So why should the old man change now?

chunk_2806

I will not be shocked if read soon more disturbing Executive Orders where the Immigrants and their access to American soil is a danger to all of society, a cost and burden on all sort of employment. Therefore, I do not trust the man. Since his time as President the efforts to humans who flee wars for safe haven has been shut, the deportation with ICE agent has escalated and the reality of the economic is already starting to be shaped. A nice little speech is not changing my perspective on the man. Unless, the man retracts the Executive Orders, stops the internal memos and just stop with rhetoric of his. However, the old man will not do that, since it is not his way.

So please, do not tell me there is new Trump. Glean and Clean Trump does not exist and is not real. It fake like his tan. If there were a new Trump, it would have the changed and begged sorry to some of the people he really has offended. That is not him. We all know that my now and we know that he will not do anything about that. Unless, Bannon or one of the other wise guys at the White House says so.

Well, enough of the nonsense? Not yet! We have so many more days of this administration. Therefore, there will be more of this and this gravy train of ignorance and blatant disregard of decency will not decay, more it will sprite up some more juice and call it soup. Peace.

Opinion: President Trump and his White House staff are cry-babies who cannot handle critique!

abc_donald_trump_george_stephanopoulos_2_bug_jt_160116_12x5_1600

“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”

― United Nations, Universal Declaration of Human Rights

We know by now that President Donald J. Trump isn’t an ordinary man, politician or businessman. We all who hasn’t been living under a rock, knows about the amount of nonsense that comes from this man, there are enough quotes and idiocrasy from the man who runs the United States government. There is certainty that he lacks moral codes and his cabinet shows the same disregard. Certainly, the man loves and hates media has taken it further. With his terminator mouth of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer who had another press conference yesterday!

“Outlets seeking to gain entry whose requests were denied included the Guardian, the New York Times, Politico, CNN, BuzzFeed, the BBC, the Daily Mail and others. Conservative publications such as Breitbart News, the One America News Network and the Washington Times were allowed into the meeting, as well as TV networks CBS, NBC, Fox and ABC. The Associated Press and Time were invited but boycotted the briefing” (…) “The decision to limit access to Spicer, hours after Trump once again declared that much of the media was “the enemy of the American people” while speaking at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, marked a dramatic shift” (Siddiqui, 2017).

So the lack of transparent and the editing out fellow media to their press conference, show the lack of accountability and the level of wanting to answer hard questions by the Trump Administration. I am sure that they just want to sell Ivanka Trump Jewellery and get Japanese diplomates on the Old Post Office Trump Hotel in Washington D.C., but hey they are supposed to run a machine of a government and administration as well. It’s a hard bargain to sell the sort of Executive Orders, the sort of acts and bills, while still being loved. So, with the draconian and animosity the Trump administration delivers it didn’t help with yet more attacks from the President himself at a Republican conference of some sort!

“In his speech, Trump wrongly accused the media even of inaccurately covering his “enemy of the people” tweet. He offered a kind of clarification: he was not saying the media is an enemy of the people, merely the “fake news” segment — a claim belied by his specific mention of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and the New York Times” (…) “Because they have no sources, they just make ‘em up when there are none,” he said. “I saw one story recently where they said, ‘Nine people have confirmed.’ There’re no nine people. I don’t believe there was one or two people. Nine people,” he said — apparently referring to an accurate Washington Post article that led to Trump’s firing of national security adviser Michael Flynn” (Dale, 2017).

Trump and Spicer lack the basic understanding of the media, or they doesn’t want to understand it, because their lack of faith in the reports and their work. If Trump and his administration acted fair and had just legislation than the media would indirectly praise or even write good stuff about it. If the Trump Administration did Noble acts and took care of their own, then they would write that. If the Trump Administration showed character and took charge of their difficulties, didn’t lie and didn’t blame everyone else. Than the media would write those stories of the Trump administration does good things.  However, the Trump administration blames Oba and blames everyone else breathing on planet earth. Saying their chaos is perfect and that their acts aren’t causing any issues, which is also wrong. So a fair and balanced media will address this, but Trump only accept praise of InfoWars and Fox News, that is why he watches that and even uses it in his speeches. Such a gentleman this Trump, nah, just kidding!

Trump is cry-baby who can’t manage critique and criticism, he is always the genius and the mastermind. Trump is the wonder-boy if he put his feet in the Hudson River, that would suddenly find Atlantis. That is the mind of Trump; he knows everything and has all knowledge, therefore who needs intelligence and questions which is hard from the media. They will not report it the way Trump sees it anyway, because none else has the brilliance of the President anyway. The ignorance and the lacking accountability of the man is on the forefront.

Donald Trump doesn’t show the knowledge of democracy, of freedom of speech or need of a free press, but not that it is shocking. Trump doesn’t even have the ability to drop the IRS Tax Returns to prove his real value and his companies’ ties to the rest of the world. That is because of his massive ego and doesn’t want his bloated arrogance to tarnish by the actual value of the Trump Organization.

Trump cannot and will not be questioned too much, because in truth, he has lacking knowledge of important subject, he also has no tact and no clear vision, except for his ego. The President are self-centred who talks about the people when calling the media an enemy, but he means is that the media as an enemy for him. This is usual autocratic leaders, like they envision themselves in the people, but reality only talking about their own identity.

So it is time for Trump and his administration to get out of the hissy fit, grow a few manly balls, and envision some strength and capacity. Stand up towards the media, address them like folk and spread their vision if they want just behaviour. I doubt that Trump and his folks has the ability to this, they will either attack than change ways. Trump cannot manage to be clear-cut and be on defence. That is not his way, he has to attack or be the victim. That is if we talk about that he acts as apparently or is the common denominator in these circumstances, when we talk about him versus the media or against anyone else. Trump is usually the starter of the war-of-words or acts of distinguished asshole.

So when you act like a con-man, the media going to call you con-man, if sell snake-oil, they going to call you snake-oil salesman, if you going to act like Mandela or Ghandi, they are going to call you a hero and a just freedom fighter. It depends on your acts and your ways. There are biased media, but not all are. Just like InfoWars, Fox News and Breitbart are pro-conservative; there will be other on the other side of the aisle. So not all will be gentle for the get-go, but either is the ones mentioned to liberals or the moderates anyway. So President Trump should get his mind correct and his acts in check. Though, I doubt both, it is not his style or his ways.

Trump administration needs to grow up and also grow a pair. Need a lesson and needs to understand their place in society. It is not a warzone in a press conference, a presser is to clarify and gain understanding on what the White House do and don’t. But hey, Sean Spicer and Donald J. Trump haven’t understood that yet. Peace.

Out of the Box: The dirty tricks of the Hillary Clinton!

wikileaks-hillary

This is another batch of the leaks happening from WikiLeaks from the PodestaFiles. There been days upon days with new leaks that has happen all through October. Been hard to follow it all and the intelligence you can gather from it in the end, would be how a political machine and election procedures are happening for career politicians like Hillary Clinton. There been some scalps and misgivings in the leak.

Today is a brief spell into the Clinton Foundation first, secondly will be little about the surrogates of Clinton, third on Policy, fourth is on E-Mail Scandal and last Media. These are well-known territory, but I will let the leaks speak for themselves.

  1. On Clinton Foundation:

“Guys – Given the story yesterday about pay equity at the State Department, I wanted to flag something that came out of our research on pay equity at the Foundation. There are huge discrepancies, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they went here next. See a summary below from Karuna” [Ian Mandel to Tony Carrk and Robert Mook “Subject: Fwd: Equal Pay – Foundation” 24th February 2015].

Equal Pay problems in Clinton Foundation:

10 out of the 19 members (52%) of the Clinton Foundation’s Leadership Team, as listed on BHCCF’s website, are women, however only 3 out of the highest paid 11 employees (27%) are women.  The highest paid men average a salary of $294,157.50, while the highest paid women average a salary of $181,576.66, over $100,000 lower than the men. [Clinton Foundation Website, last accessed 12/10/14; Clinton Foundation 990, 2012; Clinton Foundation 990, 2013].

  1. Surrogates:

Use Howard Dean as Surrogate:

“Just watched him on Meet. At this time with Warren and Biden floating around he is the single best voice to speak about HRC as a surrogate. He is measured, thoughtful, talks substance not process, has run himself, the press likes him and he leans left. He was terrific this morning. I strongly suggest you get him out there more” [Gordon Griffin to John Podesta: “Subject: Howard Dean” on 05.08.2015].

Surrogate need advice:

“On April 8, I have gotten hoodwinked into doing Squawk Box on CNBC for 2 hours as a host. I may drag Al along with me. I know I will get tons of questions on the economy, the current fiscal situation, monetary policy, and of course why I’m supporting Hillary. I can’t just say I love her, although I might. What I would like to do is give some personal examples I have as to her effectiveness. But I will also need to comment on her fiscal plans and compare those to Bernie’s and whoever is left in the republican race at that time. Is it possible to get someone to send me some data and research so I can be as persuasive as possible, Thanks so much. Erskine” [Erskine sent to John Podesta on 7th March 2016].

ali-cenar

Turkish funding of DNC:

“John, heard this second hand but more than once. Seems Erdogan faction is making substantial investments in U.S. to counter opposition (CHP, Kurds, Gulenists etc.) outreach to policymakers and USG. Am told that the Erdogan crew also tries to make inroads via donations to Democratic candidates, including yours. Two names that you should be aware of are *Mehmet Celebi* and *Ali Cinar*. Happy to elaborate on the phone, provided you are not shopping at the liquor store” [Michael Werz sent to John Podesta “Subject: Flagging Turkish campaign donations” 19th August 2015].

  1. Policy:

On Cadillac tax:

Very few if any rank and file will be touched by $250K and above. I do think your point about them understanding its repeal is important…so if she says repeal, pauses and says I need some kind of pay for that still relieves this burden on the middle class and therefore folks making over $250K will take the hit…maybe the way to do it? Of course I understand she still has this decision to make” [Nikki Budzinski to Amanda Renteria “Subject: Re: Copy of HRC Memo on Cadillac Tax” on the 25th September 2015].

  1. E-Mail Scandal:

CNN: Email Scandal:

“Hey Nick, I’m writing a story about the formal request Chairman’s Gowdy office sent to David Kendall today asking that Sec. Clinton hand over her email server to the State Dept IG or another independent third party. I’d like to know whether the secretary plans to do so and if she has any response to the letter. I’m on deadline now” [Chris Frates sent to Nick Merrill “Subject: CNN deadline question” 20th March 2015].

Politico: Email Scandal.

One quick follow up– no fingerprints. As you said, there wasn’t a hell of a lot you guys could do after the Schmidt story — the emails were already deleted… etc. What action — OTR — did u advise. What were the decision points. Cheers/Thrush. Glenn Thrush” [Glenn Thrush to John Podesta “Subject: sorry to bother” 5th October 2015].

  1. Cozy relationship with Media:

Yahoo Interview:

“Well, I know you had a good weekend! We’ve been working with the campaign folks to reschedule my interview with Secretary Clinton. I wanted to write you about some of the metrics that we are getting and let you know through placement on Facebook we can guarantee 1.5 million views in addition to Yahoo engagement which has been close to 1 million for my political interviews. I’d also like to do a separate piece of business through social media along the lines of “10 things you don’t know about Hillary Clinton” that would showcase her personality and has a lot of viral potential. I know there is a lot of demands on her time, but we have been waiting patiently to schedule something and I’m sure we’ve been driving the campaign staff crazy, but the reach and engagement will be significant and I’m very much looking forward to having the opportunity to talk to her. I have been assured the campaign wants this as well. Can you help make this happen? I’d really appreciate your help” (Katie Couric to John Podesta “Subject: Re: Note from Katie Couric” 22nd February 2016).

monmoth-university

I hope you find these leaks interesting, because they say a lot about the activity and acts of the Clinton Campaign, the relationship they have and how the Democratic Party works. We can see how they together with all Surrogates, Media and others are working. This is important together with internal reports on the payment structure in Clinton Foundation proves the legitimate claims of following old-stereotype payment of men over woman. That deserves to be scrutinized, maybe be another man than me. I am sure that Hannity looks into as we speak (joking). Let’s be clear, this is another day with the same drama, as there aren’t as I’ve seen with today’s leaks many explosives inside the Clinton Campaign team. Still, interesting in the perspective of how they work on the inside. Maybe we will see next time for some more UFO’s and Bernie Sanders bashing Mails again? Peace.

New Leaks proves the Cozy Relationship between Clinton and the Media Part III

hillary-gif

There are now more evident that the Hillary Clinton Campaign has worked close with the media. As proven twice already on my page alone as the WikiLeaks continues to drop internal mails from Campaign Manager John Podesta. Even so the Trump Campaign is ailing so much these days that the Ailing Ailes has left the building. The Hillary Campaign can catch bugs like this and still fly-high. Says more about the completion than about Clinton and her team; this proves the extent of conspiracy and evident maladministration, that has extended to the cause of using any possible way to get good coverage in the media. Part of me say they didn’t need to do this as the Trump Campaign has been flawed and faltered because of Trump’s acts and words. Therefore the leaks of WikiLeaks, proves the problems with Clinton, but that is still small-fry compared to the king-pin of lies and malicious vicious corrupt activity Mr. Trump.

So here take a look at the interesting ones from Today and Yesterday.

Politico asking for ques:

“I’m finishing up and WJC/priorities story and your name keeps popping up  got 5 mins for an ptr chat?  Cheers/Thrush” (Glenn Thrush to John Podesta – ‘howdy’ 29.06.2015).

MSNBC Chris Dodd wanting to help:

I’m doing MSNBC and Bloomberg tomorrow morning. I’d like to help Hillary out on this financial reform stuff. I’d like to debunk the notion that just because she’s gotten contributions from Wall Street, that she doesn’t care about the issues. Want to be factual about where she’s been and how she’s been supportive. I know the rhetoric but would like to know some specific facts. If not you, can someone get back to me? Sorry to reach out so late” (Eryn Sepp sending mail to John Podesta – ‘Cell Vmails — One Timely from Chris Dodd’ 21.07.2015).

qtip-blm

Hillary Clinton working with Q-Tip:

Q-Tip who is an ambassador member of Harry Belafonte’s Sankofa.org has long been highly committed to issues of social justice. Q-Tip is devoted to amplifying the voices of the disenfranchised in an effort to promote justice, peace and equal rights for all. He is a big supporter of the work Mrs. Clinton has done throughout her career and has also worked alongside former president Bill Clinton at a 2003 DNC fundraiser. He even served as DJ for Chelsea Clinton’s 25th birthday party in 2005. He’s had a lasting track record with the Clinton’s throughout the years. In fact, he had hoped to see Mrs. Clinton at his close friend Tory Burch’s fundraiser tomorrow in The Hamptons. However, due to a prior commitment in Los Angeles, he will be not be able to make it” (From Betsy Jones – Q-Tip Assistance to John Podesta: ‘Meeting request with Hillary Clinton’ 29.08.2015).

CNBC planning interview with HRC:

“All I can say about message below is: –HRC doesn’t like bullshit coverage of hyped-up controversies –She does like serious substantive policy conversations –her number one issue is making American families better off in this economy –I don’t do bullshit coverage, I focus on the economy, and I can conduct a serious substantive conversation about that with her better than anybody else on platforms that matter. Please let me know anything I can do to make this interview happen, if not in December then in January” (John Harwood to John Podesta – ‘FW: Are you back?’ 02.12.2015).

Funding from Unions to the Super-Pac Hillary Victory Fund:

Others unions that have maxed out to HVF over this past week, with checks coming in… AFSCME ($130k) LIUNA ($165k) Operating Engineers ($150k) IUPAT ($100k) Bricklayers ($100k) Machinists ($50k. More then anytime before)  Just a FYI.  Working with Mike on a few others (AFT and UA) before end of year” (Nikki Budzinski to Robby Mook – ‘Re: Follow-up’ 19.12.2015).

On Ted Cruz of the GOP:

“Donald Trump says that, if the Republicans nominate Cruz, “the Democrats” will file a lawsuit challenging Cruz’ eligibility. DSW — or, more ambitiously, DSW, Clinton, Sanders and O’Malley — should issue a statement saying that, If Cruz is nominated, the Democratic Party will not challenge his eligibility and that the voters should reject him because of his views and record, not his birthplace” (Donna Brazile to John Podesta – ‘Re: A thought’ 30.01.2016).

Millennials and Clinton:

“You likely saw Nancy Pelosi’s comments praising Sen Sanders for bringing millennials into the political process and saying they only wanted fairness and opportunity. I think this is the perfect tone to take with these voters. I have been dismayed in the last few weeks to see both Pres and Sec Clinton talk about these voters as wanting impossible things, or as Mitt Romney might say, free things. I do ‘t see how this language helps at all. Sec Clinton does not need millennials to win the nomination. She may need them to win the election. They should be embraced” (From Catholics Alliance’s Fred to John Podesta – ‘Re: John’ 26.02.2016).

If that weren’t interesting read, than I don’t know what will entice your mind. Peace.

New Leaks proves the Cozy Relationship between Clinton and the Media Part II

041215-hillary-media-jpg

Another day, another E-Mail leak from the inside of the Hillary Clinton for President 2016. This is mails leaked from the John Podesta files of WikiLeaks. This proves again their relationship with the corporate media that shows what they belief in and who they believe in. This here is just a taste of the leaks, as there are so many dropped every-day that there surely more stories that could been told.

Here today, we can see how the HRC campaign banter about New York Times stories, how they asked for quotes to Politico and also the Hill and Time Magazine. They are asking it differently. Still, showing

Story for Time Magazine:

“I am a reporter for TIME Magazine, and am working on a story about why Donald Trump bowed out of the 2012 presidential race. Would you, or any spokesperson for the Hilary campaign, be willing to be interviewed for the story? Let me know – there will of course be complete anonymity.  Best, Aditya to John Podesta” (Aditya Agrewa – ‘Subject: Interview for TIME Magazine’ (27.03.2015).

Wanting a fight with New York Times:

“They tried but could not confirm the politico story and then by day’s end yesterday, ODNI issued a statement saying the review was not done yet. Did I miss something or did they completely ignore the clapper matter and instead focus on another Grassley lead of an innocuous Teneo letter? I feel like a another public editor screed should be in the offing”. (Brian Fallon – ‘Subject: Re: We haven’t had a good war with NYT in awhile’ (07.11.2015).

Colum in the Hill:

“You should like it. I make a brief reference to her campaign going too negative in NH, hinting briefly it came from consultants, but otherwise it is 95% positive, mentions the WJC three minute video and her “imagine” speech as how she should proceed, says she has big dreams too and should tell America about them…. I did see a brief snippet on CNN that an unnamed aide is telling CNN that she is going to more aggressively negative against Bernie. I ignored that in my column but obviously believe that would be a big big mistake” (Brent Budowsky – ‘Subject: Re: Hillary column tomorrow’ 10.02.2016).

Getting Quotes to Politico:

“Hi John. Very nice talking to you the other day. A small request. Andrew Restuccia is writing about my departure for Monday, day of the announcement. He’d take a quote from you if you were able to email him something. If you’ve got time to do, his email address is ARestuccia@politico.com mailto:ARestuccia@politico.com Many thanks. Great day on Tuesday. Congrats. Talk soon” (SternTD sent mail to John Podesta: ‘Subject: quote for a story’ 18.03.2016).

This we’re what was from the Media, here was one important advice giving Hillary Clinton if she wanted to win this election:

The Clintons too often use language that is for Washington insiders and not for the rest of us out here in America. With Trump attacking Pres. Clinton for allegations of infidelity, she should not respond with “he can make personal attacks” or suggest that this is what Republicans have always done. Instead, she should make this a VERY PERSONAL MOMENT. She is failing to connect with voters – in large part, I believe, because she uses Washington speak. She should not just be connecting with women voters in a better way, they should be energized in a big way. She’s failing in this regard. Dump the Washington political speak immediately – including partisan language. Replace it with words that average voters understand. When she talks about Trump or Cruz or other Republicans, she should attack them for their policies – not even mention that they are Republicans. I also believe she’s making a mistake by attacking Sanders in a personal way. People grew tired of this from the Clintons. It’s not what they want to see. GET A PERSONAL CONNECTION”  (Steve Hildebrand to Joel Beneson – ‘Subject: *Some unsolicited advice’ 16.01.2016).

In this election that is the grandest advice anyone could have given her. Steve Hildebrand gave her a good one and hope she sticks to it.

These leaks are not a good look, but compared to sexist and chauvinistic leaks of Trump, these are more tolerable and understandable, as Clinton tries to use the system in her advantage, though not ethical correct as she then turns into a prop in the Media instead of being scrutinized as the Politician she is and with the luggage she carries. Peace.

New Leaks proves the Cozy Relationship between Clinton and the Media!

Hillary Speech

What has been questioned and used like a Urban legend by the Republican Party, proves now by the E-Mail leaks from WikiLeaks, as there certain Journalists and certain Companies that sees the Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. Clinton has been little in the news compared to Trump that is because Trump is so blatant and destructive together with his views on Muslims, Mexicans, and Women, and so on.

Clinton together with her machinery of Democratic Party and her supportive organizations such as the Podesta who are advising the ‘Hillary for President’ and other organizations who works for Hillary Clinton; this proves the ways of the using the system and media today. During the weekend I wrote about what I found in the first Podesta leak, this about todays release of documents. This is what I found interesting.

From the New York Times Nicholas Confessore:

“Hi John, I am sure you have lot and lots of downtime these days to talk to reporters, and so this question no doubt is well-timed. But can you offer any wisdom on whether this contretemps between Messina and Brock tells us anything about the future of the other Obama alums who have found places, or are seeking them, in Greater Clintonland? To put the question more directly–is this blow up over Media Matters going to make it harder for the Clinton folks to bring in and use effectively the best of the Obama alums? Seems you are among the few people widely respected in both camps. So your opinion would count for a lot.  thank you,  Nick” (On Feb 10, 2015 1:36 PM, “Confessore, Nicholas”).

Podesta answered the Journalist: “Well put” (On Wed, Feb 11, 2015 at 11:54 AM, John Podesta).

Advertisement advice

“Hillary’s ads need to be young people – all under 45 and a smattering of older ones – validating her – saying why they support her / trust her with their future/ will vote for her -(maybe mix in some older Enviro leaders and civil rights leaders) with millennials and gen x- along with a boomer or two. Why they are for her versus – why she is for them” (From: Mariannes Smith, Date: 2016-02-18 20:33).

In November John Harwood wants Hillary Clinton to talk Economy…

with me, it will be the kind of substantive, deep, textured conversation about the economy she wants  John Harwood CNBC/NYT” (2015-11-24 10:38 Subject: Re: don’t you think it’s time…).

Questionable mail from Podesta to NBC:

He answered on the 15 March 2016 to NBC Universal with John Harwood. Where all he wrote that today: “Yup. Feeling good”.

Univision’s debate e-mail:

Haim , I just wanted to tell you that I thought the moderators for last nights Debate were excellent. They were thoughtful , tough and incisive. I thought it made Hilary appear direct and strong in her resolve. I felt it advanced our candidate. Thanks for Univision. Rob  Rob Friedman  Co-Chairman, Motion Picture Group  LIONSGATE” (Thursday, March 10, 2016 4:33 PM To: Haim Saban Subject: Univision).

Because of wrong endorsement the Clinton machine will not support a Candidate:

“Representative Gabbard,: We were very disappointed to hear that you would resign your position with the DNC so you could endorse Bernie Sanders, a man who has never been a Democrat before. When we met over dinner a couple of years ago I was so impressed by your intellect, your passion, and commitment to getting things done on behalf of the American people. For you to endorse a man who has spent almost 40 years in public office with very few accomplishments, doesn’t fall in line with what we previously thought of you. Hillary Clinton will be our party’s nominee and you standing on ceremony to support the sinking Bernie Sanders ship is disrespectful to Hillary Clinton. A woman who has spent the vast majority of her life in public service and working on behalf of women, families, and the underserved.  You have called both myself and Michael Kives before about helping your campaign raise money, we no longer trust your judgement so will not be raising money for your campaign” (From: Darnell Strom Sent: Monday, February 29, 2016 3:13 PM To: Tulsi Gabbard Cc: Michael Kives Subject: Disappointed).

I just had to drop the representative who also endorsed Bernie Sanders we’re now cut of the money stream that is connected with Hillary Clinton. That proves that the ethical value doesn’t matters in the Democratic Party, but the loyalty to the picked nominee from the DNC. That is also worrying, not only how New York Times, Lionsgate or NBC who acts in favor of Clinton and wants her support. Peace.
