Dr. Kizza Besigye passed through the besieged gates of his home and apparently driving around Central Kampala!

Besigye Kampala 11.05.2016 P1

As the Banned Defiance Campaign have let him be house arrested in his home for 6 days, and this would have been his seventh day under siege of the Police Force in Kasangati. But for some apparent reason he has been able to pass through and drive around in Kampala.

Besigye Kampala 11.05.2016 P2

Somewhere is the DPC James Kawalya of Kasangati crying of his blindness and of having ignorant Police Officers at the gates of Besigye’s compound. Somewhere else is IGP Kayihura uttering mad curses as he wonders what to answer his Master President Museveni, as he promised to monitor and control the activities of the Forum for Democratic Change and Besigye, especially when the Swearing-In of Museveni are happening at Kololo Independence Ground together with leaders from Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe and so on.

Besigye Kampala 11.05.2016 P3

That Dr. Kizza Besigye is drving around like nothing in the Streets of Kampala. Is another slap on the face of the power of Museveni and his Police Force! When they intercepted him he was already downtown and then he was already open and visible to the people of Kampala. As they haven’t really seen him at all since the Election Day; he has only been brief moments and then detained. For Museveni at the moment he is the arch-criminal as he is playing on his playground. Something President Museveni hates viciously as he should get this praise and these locals to stop by when he drives, but they don’t, they do this to Besigye!

Besigye Kampala 11.05.2016 P4

So a special event this is, as the Police Force and the government is cracking down on any force of opposition or men who speaks against the message that the current President speaks of. So enjoy the pictures and know who the true leader of Uganda is, it is Besigye and not Museveni as his time has been and he is overstaying, the reason why the Police is detaining opposition leaders and activist as we speak.

A tiny update:

Rt. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye escaped police custody, has been sworn in (evidence to follow), now arrested” (Forum For Democratic Change, 11.05.2016).

So he got arrested again by the Police Force who was on his tail. That was expected as they does not want him arround and again take him in, as they tries to silence him! That is something the world should know by now and the Presidents and world leaders that attend Kololo tomorrow are there to verify the wrong man in the Ugandan Nation. Not mention the men and woman who voted and their ballot didn’t matter. That is for those men Besigye is out there and fighting for. Besigye can’t even drive around without being arrested and detained by the Police. That is not freedom or liberty! Peace.

Lord Mayor Lukwago on House-Arrest on the Seventh Day – Celebrates his birthday in incarceration!

Lukwago 11.05.2016 P1

This here is never-ending saga as he now feeling the same as Dr. Kizza Besigye, Besigye was last time 40 days under House-Arrest in Kasangati. Now it’s been 7 days for both of them. The leaders of Forum for Democratic Change are under siege and their homes are not free as the country is neither free and under the control of President Museveni. Who shows no mercy towards his opposition and the ones who are not loyal to him.

Still it is good to see that the Police Officers open the doors to fellow citizens to greet the Lord Mayor as they could have done what they do in Kasangati. In Kasangati anybody who tries to visit Besigye get Detained! So this here is something positive in the midst of darkness.

Lukwago 11.05.2016 P2

Well, here is his statement and read it.

Statement from Lord Mayor Lukwago:

“DAY 7 OF HOUSE ARREST. What would ordinarily be a special day on my personal calendar unfolds with such uncanny feelings, pondering how it is going to be yet another vile experience in my life as I commemorate my 46th BIRTHDAY anniversary under illegal incarceration. I was on the brink of flipping the lid and vent out my anguish on this Platform, but then I reminded myself that great icons of civil liberties like Mandela did not have the luxury of celebrating such memorable events in one’s lifetime for over two decades. The only one little thing that has given me a fresh heart, though, is the sweet mother-to-child telephone conversation I have had this morning with HAJJAT SALMA NAKAYAGA. At the tail end of the said soothing talk she quipped, in a rather frail and resigned voince; ”YASI (she has fondly called me like that since childhood) nze ensonga z’omusajja oyo akutulugunya nazikwasa munyazimungu yatalemelerwa”( I placed the controversial matters concerning you and your chief tomentor in the able hands of the almighty). I should also acknowledge the kind gesture of my dear sister, Hon. Mp Bakireke Nambooze, Hon. Moses Kasibante, some Authority councillors, city mayors and a score of other friends and relatives, who paid me a courtesy call and generously brought lots of foodstuffs for my persecuted family. Of course, I can’t forget all of you, my amazing friends; your unflinching support and encouragement has definitely enabled me to soldier on against all odds. Together we shall overcome what apparently many pessimists perceive to be insurmountable challenges. For God and My Country” (Lukwago, 11.05.2016).

Lukwago 11.05.2016 P3

I think that is enough for now. Congratulation on your day Lord Mayor Lukwago and you shall overcome! Peace.

FDC’s Ingrid Turinawe Statement after being released from the Unlawful Arrest of the Police and the Experience She had while being detained at Nakasongola Police Station (10.05.2016)

Nakasongala FDC Convoy 3.1.2015 P3

Very annoyed but not frustrated, very weak but not down, very hungry but not ready to eat, i resolved with courage and determination to die of hunger but not Poison. I was certain it was the only defiance Tool that would help me communicate my where a bouts with my People. For two days and two nights! I did not taste even a spoon of water in Nakasongola police cells. At the same time, I loudly demanded to eat and I wld only eat food From home.
Yesterday at around 11am An exchange, started, very hot and loud! It was between the ‘arresters’ and the ‘keepers’, issue was About the ‘kept’- ” come, take your woman away, or call her family to bring her food, or else we release her to go now. We cannot keep a suspect who is not eating, not in our custody! She will not die Here”

Nakasongala FDC Convoy 3.1.2015 P2

I overheard this Exchange which went on repeatedly . At midnight, the arresters arrived.. I did not even imagine a whole trained Police officer at the rank of DPC would open a female cell to hand her over to some goons at such time. I protested and opted to remain with my hunger as mosquitoes feed on me than enter that van. This time it dint work! I was forcefully thrown into van- yes, very worried and not aware of what they wld do to me, i was Driven at a neck breaking speed. Deep in night from Nakasongola to kireka. At 3 am i was entered into the suspects entry Book (back dated), they signed me in and asked me to sign out (at the same time). They gave me BOND, drove me up to my gate at 4am.

Ingrid Turinawe 09.04.2016
NOW, – you camped outside my home and arrested me as soon as left, where or when did i incite violence?
– In which area of jurisdiction did i commit the offence in order to get me detained in nakasongola .
– why detain me in nakasongola but charge me in Kireka?
-As a suspect, dont I have rights to have my People know where Im detained? My lawyer? My family?
Any way, No turning back!

Forum for Democratic Change is Officially Illegal as the Headquarters are Sealed of as Crime Scene and everything from the offices are Confiscated; An act that (in it self) suspends the Multi-Party Democracy in Uganda!

FDC HQ 10.05.2016 Crime Scene

Today the Ugandan Police Force have taken it further and taken away the material they have found. The Police have now sealed off the FDC Headquarters in Najjankumbi in Kampala as the levels of intimidation and the aggressive behaviour of the Police Force towards the Opposition party as the Swearing-in on the 12th May.

What the Police confiscated:

“Police have raided FDC headquarters & confiscated documents party intended to use during Dr Kizza Besigye’s ‘swearing in ceremony’ Confiscated documents also included flyers and posters FDC was planning to use on Thursday at Nakivubo Stadium during Kizza Besigye’s ‘inauguration’ Flyers partly read “We won, we weren’t declared, we were denied to go to court, our audit demand not listened to, swearing in is here”. Police also discovered a printing machine in one of the rooms at FDC headquarters in Najjanankumbi” (NBS TV Uganda, 10.05.2016).

The Pictures show the brass harassment of them and how the Political Party been addressed by the lawmen and the men who supposed to secure the citizens, not secure the National Resistance Movement and their President. That is what that is happening right now with this movement. The same with the FDC activists in Rukungiri, Kabale and all over who are detained over the 48 hour line together with the House-Arrest of the FDC Leadership. So the proof of the violence against them and the crackdown on the Multi-Party Democracy; With this attack on the FDC the Multi-Party Democracy in Uganda is suspended!

NRM have suspended the media’s with the ban and with the Interim Order with their actions of the Police Force initially made the Nation a One-Party State, as the other Political Parties are silent and little who doesn’t cause fear for the President even if they all we’re collected together. The FDC Offices are the living Proof of the Suspension of Multi-Party Democracy in the country. Peace.

Press Release: Ugandan minister warns media not to cover opposition protests (10.05.2016)

Jim Muhwezi Press Conference 05052016

NEW YORK, United States of America, May 10, 2016 –  Ugandan authorities should cease attempting to intimidate journalists in an effort to keep them from covering protests, the Committee to Protect Journalists said today.
Ugandan Minister for Information and National Guidance Jim Muhwezi on May 5 warned journalists that any news outlet that reports on opposition protests over the conduct of February’s presidential elections could face closure, according to press reports. Uganda’s political opposition has called for nationwide protests to mark the inauguration ceremony for President Yoweri Museveni’s fifth term, scheduled to take place in Kampala on May 12.
“All live broadcast of defiance activities should stop. Any media house that continues to cover them risks having their license revoked,” Muhwezi, a retired military officer, told reporters, according to Kampala’s daily Monitor. Those who cover the protests on social media could also be punished, the head of Uganda’s Communications Commission said, according to the BBC.
“The Ugandan government must stop trying to bully the media into silence,” CPJ Deputy Executive Director Robert Mahoney said. “Political protests are news and the press has a duty to the public to report on them.”
Uganda’s opposition Forum for Democratic Change, citing local and international observers, alleges that the elections were marked by irregularities and should be held again, according to press reports. Ugandan authorities say the poll was fair, and in late April obtained a court order declaring the protests illegal.
CPJ research has found that attacks against reporters covering the election have produced a climate of fear among Ugandan journalists.

Lord Mayor Lukwago on the Sixth Day of his house arrest: ” Another day and another Police officer who makes sure that the Opposition is behind bars in their own homes”

Lukwago 10.05.2016

Another day and another Police officer who makes sure that the Opposition is behind bars in their own homes. Just as there are men blocking all enterance to Kasangati, the same is happening at the home of Lord Mayor Lukwago. So now the men are continuing to block his road and his house. The House-Arrest is real and the Opposition figure is not allowed to have the liberty of normal movement. Here is what he was saying about the state of affair on the road at the gate of his home.

Lukwago’s Statement on the Sixth Day:

“DAY 6 OF HOUSE ARREST. We have a Luganda proverb that; ‘‘agamyuka akasolo gegamyuka n’omutezi”(a hunter suffers the same way as the prey ). After enduring a chilly breeze of the night, the poor policemen(am glad there isn’t a single policewoman) get drenched in the heavy early morning down pour. Their misery evokes sympathy but I can’t help much. But all this for what? ???” (Lukwago, 10.05.2016).

The Late-Night Situation on the Outside of Lord Mayor Lukwago Gates on the 5th Night of the House-Arrest!

Lukwago 09.05.2016 Night

Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago Statement:

“The situation at the entrance to my residence right now. Why subject these poor policemen to such horrendous, inhuman and degrading treatment!!??” (Lukwago, 09.05.2016).

Here we see how the State treats the loyal Police officers as they guard the “criminal” Lord Mayor Luwago on the 5th evening of the House-arrest. They have just the car and have no place to-go to their needed duties and have places to eat. So the Police Officer’s that are doing the duty that IGP Kayihura on orders from “above high” as they all are “honouring” the Interim order of  29th April  2016.

So when a government can first take a man illegally detained in his own home over the time of the laws in the country, then it by all means should also care for the caretakers that are put in place to secure the facilitation of the ruler in the land. They wouldn’t be sitting there for hour upon hour if it wasn’t for the President. The President want to silence the Opposition and therefore house-arrest the Opposition or detain them. Peace.
