NAB – “Re: Attack on NTV Journalist” (10.04.2017)

Uganda: CSBAG – “Reducing Wastage and Curbing Inefficiences to Finance our Priorities for the FY 2017/2018 (09.04.2017)

She must be the Holiness, the First Lady, Janet Museveni: since anyone questioning her powers gets into trouble!

“It is true that when we harm others, we harm ourselves; but it is just as true that when we help others, we also help ourselves.”Desmond Tutu

It has to be true, it has to be true, that the most holy and the most significant female walking in the Republic is Janet Kaguta Museveni, the First Lady and the Minister for Education and Sports. The one who cannot fund maxi-pads for woman or take care of the Primary School buildings. That is the most holy person and the one that cannot be touched!

Why cannot not be touched or questioned? Well, Dr. Stella Nyanzi has spent time in questioning by the Central Investigation Division at Kireka and been detained for both fixing woman some pads and questioning the reasons for lack of government support for the same. Especially since this was one of the grand promises of the National Resistance Movement, in the recent campaign. How time is a wasting, when you are in power, Ay?

That the First Lady has little or no problem using force is evident since Dr. Stella Nyanzi is awaiting three counts of her crimes, as the lecturer at Makerere University has offended he high and mighty. So she hires the Police Force and Commanders like lap-dogs who catches the people questioning her powers. IGP Kale Kayihura must be on speed-dial and every-time a brother or sister questions her existence they will end behind bars.

So, when NTVs Miss Gertrude Tumusiime Uwitware, was abducted yesterday by unknown men on Nile Avenue in Kampala after she had made a critical piece on the First Lady. We know that she is behind it, because Janet Museveni doesn’t have the capacity or understanding, that if your are minister and a public figure. You can be ridiculed and your acts will be either praised or criticized. But the illiterate minister cannot comprehend that fact, apparently!

That the First Lady does have the character, the swagger or the ability to handle critical voices is clear and evident. As the recent acts of the Police and Security Officials within her power has taken both NTV journalist and a lecturer, who has all been critical about her ways. Therefore, she is not in a mental state to be a leader, neither a government officials. Since she cannot sustain that people questions her or even tries to reason with her. If she was a serious minister who could be taken public court, she would have possibly been worse treated, as the achievements under the NRM and her rule is dwindling. Therefore, they have to detain the ones questioning her. Janet Museveni knows that the failing schools and also failing promises.

The worst part of it all, she thinks she is entitled to use the Police Force and call IGP Kale Kayihura, demand the arrests as these people hurt her feelings. That she asks her husband to act upon the vile words against her Royal Court. That Janet Museveni might feel so, might be true, who knows except herself. What we do know is that she doesn’t have the character to be Minister, neither a leader who get questioned for her acts. Since she detain and harass the media who does so. She shouldn’t be minister, but she is because she married Yoweri Kaguta Museveni back in day. No merit or qualification considered whatsoever.

She married the school debater of Ntare School on the outside of Mbarara district. So she know is entitled to take away the freedoms of all citizens with the whip of her mind. Janet Museveni is so holy and untouchable, that no-one should take her name in vein. The lord called her and husband to control and install their presence for eternity for all citizens of Uganda. She will follow the dissidents and the ones not believing her will, will pay the price of their liberty and peace, as she can command their downfall. That is what the holiness Museveni commands! Peace.

Opinion: “Presidential Handshake” Vs “Bribe”; Why is one legal and the other illegal?

There are something serious malfunctioning in the National Resistance Movement (NRM), their whole operation and their idea of Government. The reason why is a Minister is now caught in the mix, though strange that he is in hot-water. Why do I say that? Since this is the government that has sanctioned the Presidential Handshake, the billing of profits from the Tax Case with Tullow Oil. So for me this is weird, that this one get illegal, while the other get rubber-stamped by the same government. Like a rabbit isn’t a rabbit, that these two is two of a kind. Take a quick look!

Days after the story of this accusation went public, police on Saturday arrested and detained three people including a State Minister, for allegedly receiving a Shs30 million bribe from the businessman” (…) “The police this afternoon arrested Hon. Herbert Kabafunzaki, the state minister for labour, employment and industrial relations who is also the MP Rukiga County in Kabale district. He is arrested together with Mr Brian Mugabo, a clearing agent. He was allegedly soliciting a bribe from the proprietor of Aya Group,” Mr Kayima said in a statement” (Monitor Team, 2017).

Can someone please tell me difference between Aya Group and Tullow Oil, certainly different types of businesses and also reach. That Tullow Oil got middlemen inside the Uganda Revenue Authority and got accepted through all forms of government before the corrupt arrangement of the Presidential Handshake, but why doesn’t Hon. Kabafunzaki get off the hook, when half of the civil service and the leadership involved in the handshake gets to kiss ass. There are something unjust about the whole case.

When contacted to confirm or deny president Museveni’s involvement in the arrest of the minister, Senior Presidential Press Secretary Don Wanyama said: “When the President said this is Kisanja Hakuna Mchezo this is what he meant. The message is clear, the fight against corruption has been taken to a new high and there are no sacred cows. Once you’re involved, you’ll be arrested irrespective of position. Corrupt government officials have been put on notice.” (Monitor Team, 2017).

It is ironic and strange to see the President involved in it and taking a strong stance on it, as he government and his officials are let’s say bluntly very corrupt. His former cronies like Gen. Jim Muhwezi and Amama Mbabazi was often on the list of most corrupt men in East Africa. Therefore, these words coming from Okello House is not really trustworthy, as the big business and decisions comes from the State House before they are sanctioned. So if the grand-corruption is appearing, than the President has said “Okay” and signed the agreement.

When we see stuff like this now, we know that if there are grand corruption or corrupt behavior it is either sanctioned by the State House or not accepted by the NRM cronies. Therefore, if they are arrested it is to make the world believe that the institutions works against this sort of economic transgression in society. For people like me this is not believable, that the NRM Regime cares, as the corruption scandals and the people walking free in mansions bigger than malls. So why should we mind?

Well, as long as the Presidential Handshakes are accepted and a way of giving illegal bonuses, which is a sort of corruption and eating of the state coffers. Why should this 30m shillings be an issue? Peace.

Dr. Stella Nyanzi behind bars, because the NRM Regime cannot have vocal dissidents!

There are these days when you wonder how little margin of error the citizens of Uganda can have, before they become the enemy of the state. The National Resistance Movement, with the President Yoweri Museveni and the First Lady Janet Museveni, who happens now to Minister for Educations and Sports, who was elected by the people or selected on merits, but she was hired because she married the President. Have not clearly liked the questioning her powers and her reach. Janet Museveni have not taken it easy that a Research Fellow and Lecturer at Makerere University has questioned her acts in government.

That Dr. Stella Nyanzi is a fierce critic and doesn’t hold barren of how criticism is well-known, she know also the possible consequence as her own pen has already told that she expected this outcome. That she would be detained and might even lose her. She has right to fear this as she has risked it all against the NRM Regime who does not care about democratic values and rights, as long as the Museveni’s has all power.

Therefore, the NRM are using the policing and the law-system to order and strike at the visible dissidents, therefore we have seen other FDC sympathizers and leaders either behind bars or put through fraudulent court cases. So it is not like Dr. Nyanzi is the first one to be touched by the regimes long arms of force and vicious attempts to silence opposition voices. This is more the pattern of President Museveni and his Police than anything else.

That Mrs Museveni is thin-skinned, is most likely true, she feels entitled to not be questioned or be spoken against. Therefore, when she entered the Ministry after the election she took control of it with the Police Force and cleared the ones phones and communications materials. To make sure no-one would leak or spread anything that wasn’t in-line with ideas. So when a small citizen who happens to work inside her Ministry questions her efforts or even care of pledges of the husband. Than she felt hurt and wanted to retaliate. That has now been done, the forgiveness of the masters and the chiefs wasn’t sincere. Not that ones that has followed the Museveni’s believed the interview on NTV with Sheila Nduhukire.

So that Dr. Stella Nyanzi has to counts on her for her expression and words online, while Chris Obore uses the words against critics, but does not get any problems, proves that the laws are not equal in Uganda. If your a NRM member and leader you can say whatever, but if you question the Leopards Anus, you will be bitten.

The NRM illegitimate rule is proven with acts like this, as they cannot even handle criticism on social media, they cannot manage that a Makerere lecturer can deliver pads to fellow girls at the schools, while the President and his regime cannot manage to uphold their pledges. They we’re just bait to the poor in the districts and up-country, as they would believe they even would get funding for Malwa groups. Oh golly, the promises of an international airport in Gulu. Look forward to see that surface in my lifetime. Please Mr. President promise world peace on your next time for pre-ticked ballots and probable statistics exercise only possible in elections rigging.

So that Mrs. Janet Museveni, the First Lady being hurt by the questioning of her powers and her position, show how little these two as a couple care for democratic values or freedom of expression. That they cannot even manage a fellow citizens with a colorful language expressing her views on the lacking governance from the NRM. Not like Chris Obore or Ofwono Opondo is writing with a soft pen against the FDC or anyone else who questions the NRM. But they are loyalists to the Movement and can get away with murder. Just like NRM tries to get away with murder if they have too, and they do that once in while. Sadly not in every blue-moon.

There lacking care of governance and transparency is apparent as night from day. The irrational NRM will continue with their pending obnoxious belief in their right to rule without any consideration of other views or beliefs. That is why Dr. Stella Nyanzi is behind bars, because the Museveni cannot handled to questioned or be revealed for their lacking service delivery. Peace.

The Declaration of the By-Election for Woman Representative for Motoro (05.04.2017)

President Museveni sanctions now all information on emergencies from the State House!

If you ever needed proof that the departments, ministries and institutions don’t have values in Uganda, than you need the newest revelation. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), who has run the nation for over three decades. This is proven with the Presidential Handshakes, the growing amounts of MP’s, Ministers and of newly created districts and sub-counties. That sort of government both state-wise and locally has grown out of proportions, this to make it possible to have enough cronies close by and hire them. The government has been built around President Museveni, still he has to control it even more. Take a look!

President Museveni has ordered ministries to stop declaring state of emergencies without his prior approval of their messages to the public. He accused government officials of using loose words which have ended up scaring away potential investors and tourists. President Museveni voiced his concerns in a letter he wrote to the Vice President and copied to all permanent secretaries of all ministries on January 20, this year” (Ahimbisibwe, 2017).

So the controlling behavior of President Museveni, now is to another level since he cannot even trust that the message spread by his ministers are sound enough. He is now controlling the releases of information and vouch for the ones spread from the NRM. The Government is so controlled by him, that it all has to pass by him. Because his rubber-stamp has now to be on the messages.

That the President needs clearance and cannot trust in his ministers, not the agencies or state institutions, proves the lack of transparency, as even the messages has to pass by him before the public gets to know. If it is first in emergencies, than it will on the Presidents desk and he will rewrite it, so that it fits his understanding of it. So if it needs to be addressed as enclave, a colonial relic or even if it is climate change, the President has to speak his peace.

That the Police Force, the Army or any of the ministers can address the matters first in public, to regain trust or even try to amend in the emergency that arrived. That the President shouldn’t have the capacity to control each and every single message the government spreads out. Surely, the President cannot have capacity to follow Hon. Frank Tumbewaze or Uganda Media Centre Chairman Ofwono Opondo’s remarks on the matters. As much as the President cannot have the time or the ability to understand the different events that occur in the Republic.

This here proves that President Museveni only trust himself and no-one else, all his vision has to be spread and people have to believe him. President Museveni wants to control it all and not give way, it is all him and his behavior. Not like Museveni wants to trust anyone. They are only around for Presidential Handshake’s and Brown Envelopes, that is because they follow his system. They know if they stay around and needs it, he will help them out and also create needed jobs for the closest associates.

President Museveni proves with this what we have known for long, that the institutions and the ministries is shell-organizations for the supposed operations of the state. Museveni has to be informed and engaged before actions happens. If it doesn’t happen that way, it is the wrong way and his feels betrayed by his own. Therefore, the ones that falls stopped informing and being independent of their master. Which is Museveni, who feels he is more important than the institutions. Museveni thinks he is the pillar of the State and the key to all the works of the State.

That is why the newest order of controlling information and the flow of information to the public, the enforcement of this proves the systematic control that he has from the Okello House. This proves how belittling the state is and how important the President thinks of himself. The way the State is now his playground and no-one else can play like he do. Peace.

Uganda: UPC Calls for Economic Reforms (05.04.2017)

The Calvary blocks Opposition Food relief in Katakwi!

Jubilant reception as we arrived in Toroma, Katakwi District this morning. Situation quickly changed as police started attacking the people” – Dr. Kizza Besigye

You would think that under Presidency of Yoweri Museveni, that his Security Organization would show some sense, but there aren’t any common sense in the Uganda Police Force. As Inspectorate General of Police Kale Kayihura. This reports are coming from Katakwi town today, as the Police dispersed the public gatherings as the food relief from Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) was passing by the starving region.

This is something the government themselves wouldn’t have the capacity to do. They would let the people starve, with their Regional Police Commander (RDC) of Katakwi Francis Tumwesigye. The went all in with gun-shots, tear-gas and other violence as the FDC tried to do a good deed.

Lord Mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwago explains: “We have just wound up our visit to Teso Region. Despite the fact that police unleashed brutality and teargas to disperse peaceful and jubilant supporters, we managed to comb through various parts of Soroti and Katakwi. We handed over food relief to Bishop Obaikol, paid respect to the grave of the former Toroma MP and that of our fallen comrade, Counsel Okiring in Magoro” (Lukwago, 05.04.2017).

That a food relief in Toroma we’re delivered not only with the local Bishop Obaikol, but by the FDC leadership and leaders in the region, who has traveled in the region of late. The RDC Tumwesigye said earlier today: “No giving them food. Let them die of hunger”. How can such a person has a leadership role? What sort of government hires a person like this? The skirmishes from the Police Force have officially lead to five hurt people, the citizens who showed up to get fed.

That National Resistance Movement (NRM) government and the Honorable Minister of Disaster Preparedness Musa Ecweru have not delivered to the public, because of the FDC had prepared posho to the Toroma town, the Police to prove the point, the UPF even had to tear-gas and stop an 84 year old who went to the car of Dr. Kizza Besigye, so as he passes by the police went after the old man. This proves the little care the police has for the civilians.

You can wonder if the citizens matters to the police as they was even blocking Besigye from visiting the hospital to see to the ones who had to go to Toroma Health Centre. That the FDC leader was blocked to see the ones hurt by the police, when the food relief from FDC came into Toroma, Katakwi.

That the Police had to disperse and block a food relief proves how little they care and that the RDC would utter words and stop it. UPF and NRM proves that they doesn’t care and the world should take notice if the government cries. The FDC could have provided the posho to the citizens as an act of kindness, instead the police brutality will be remembered, not the gift from the opposition party!

Peace.

Kahinda Otafiire is as blind as bat on the succession of President Museveni!

Why are you fighting President Museveni? What has he done to you? This man just have served his first year of the new term and you’re now talking about succession. Why are you looking for who will succeed him? Has he died? If we decided to reward him for a job well done, will you still talk about succession? We have numbers to in Parliament to…. Anyway that is not why I’m here. If we reward him for a job well done, will you commit “Suicide”? Remember where we were, how far we’re come… Justice centres, Electricity, water connections, what exactly do you want? Let’s be careful with the change we want” Kahinda Otafiire (NTV Uganda, 04.04.2017).

Let’s start first, we are fighting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his clan who thinks they own Uganda, Secondly, who acts entitled on UBC, NBS and NTV as they did yesterday. The National Resistance Movement (NRM) have run the government since 1986. It is not like during the General Election 2016 was the first moment President Museveni entered the scene.

He has been a Defense Minster as far back as under President Dr. Milton Obote second term after they both got rid of dictator Idi Amin. This was written about his rise to rebellion in 1985: “Tito Okello, the commander of the army, reportedly met with his top officers during much of the day Saturday. Radio announcements appealed to rebel forces headed by former Defense Minister Yoweri Museveni, who has waged a long-running guerrilla war against the Obote government, to lay down their arms and join forces with the army officers” (…) “(United Press International reported from Stockholm that Museveni welcomed Obote’s overthrow but warned that his forces will have to be included in any solution to the nation’s ongoing state of crisis” (…) “(“The guerrilla force will be part of any solution,” he said on a Swedish radio broadcast. “If anyone tries to block that, we shall smash him, like that which smashed Obote.”)” (Powers, 2017).

So he again planned to bring down another government so he could be sure to gain power. That is a sentiment that he has kept. A reason why he still is in power and doesn’t want to let go. President Museveni believes he is the only one who can run the country, since he in the past was the man tricked the other big-men and the public to believe he was the best man. So when you listen to Gen. Kahinda Otafiire proves he still is in the 1980s state of mind, thinks that the world and Ugandans haven’t seen President Museveni during the three decades. The year between February 2016 to February 2017.

As another journalist wrote in 1985: “Friday, at his first press conference as the new prime minister, he cited his efforts “to build a Ugandan nation.” A key part of that effort is scheduled to begin today in Tanzania between the new military government and former defense minister Yoweri Museveni, leader of the National Resistance Army guerrilla group” (…) “On Friday, Muwanga referred to Museveni, whose participation in the new government is regarded as a key element in national reconciliation, as “a personal friend.” (…) “[Monday, reports from Uganda indicated that Museveni’s guerrillas were on the move — marching toward Masaka, the country’s third largest town, according to witnesses quoted by Reuter, and making other advances in the southwest of the country and north of Kampala, according to unofficial reports cited by The Associated Press.]” (Fitzgerald, 2017).

Even in 1985 as ever he proved his conning ways to use the position he had, while finding ways to spin his control from the others. Therefore, we all know that months later the NRA took charge and overthrow the new government post-Obote. It is sad that I have write about this again and recharge history, it is like Gen. Otafiire has a short memory. Surely, the blessings of being Minister when losing the Primary in the National Resistance Movement during the October 2015. He even went into the general elections in 2016 as an Independent Candidate, but the loyalty to Museveni gave him a place in the 10th Parliament. This official 5th Term of Museveni, which I have claimed that he is in his 7th term. Since he has ruled the Republic ever since 1986. I have giant issues with this being his first YEAR in charge. What about the years before 2016?

So in Kahinda Otafiire the years between 1986 and 2016 has vanished, so therefore, why debate the need for fresh blood? Well, the same rebel with one vision has run the game and rigged it for decades, that is why. I don’t know why that is so hard to understand, surely Muwanga, Ssemogerere, Otunnu, Besigye and Mbabazi feels that somebody else could run a government in Uganda. But Museveni feels the entitlement after the Bush War of the 1980s to run it for life. No-one else have sacrificed as much as him or deserves to run it more than him. Even, if that is not true.

The Ugandans shouldn’t care if Coca-Cola came out of the taps inside their buildings, if the President had provided them with free laptops and secured them all with government jobs. Still, it shouldn’t be natural for a brother to run a nation for 3 decades unopposed. Than, there are wrong with the governance and with the inner-party organization. But with the knowledge of the conning man that is the Museveni, it is not surprising to know that he has been the sole candidate for so long!

Gen. Otafiire are blind as bat, it is like he is completely blind and need surgery. If not he is not able to see well, that he needs to fix his glasses or his vision. If not he is unwilling to recognize the problems that is at hand. Since he is eating of the NRM and the government, he is again appointed by the President, even has he failed to get local support in his district and sub-county. However, Museveni knew that he would have loyal lap-dog in Parliament who would stay behind the President. Therefore, he gave him a Ministerial Post for his loyalty.

In return he will claim this obnoxious lies, the deceit and try to deceive the citizens with this sort of rhetoric. The NRA/M General wants to pull a ploy and try to devalue the terms that the President has had before. Like President Museveni, have run a Republic for decades, it is far from his first year as the Executive, as the President or the Commander-in-Chief!

NRM and Museveni has run the nation and not for the short period. There are all sorts of reasons for discussing the succession, it should have been from 1995 or latest 2000, as his time in charge has lingered for way to long. Therefore, the devolution of state institutions, importance of Okello House and the Presidential Handshakes become main factors in the regime.

So if you learned anything today, General Kahinda Otafiire is blind as a bat! Peace.
