Has the Chinese hit President Duterte in the gut?

What is up with President Rodrigo Duterte?

First it was the Benham Rise, where the Philippines won’t send the army or the field researchers on it. As the Chinese have named the area and several government leaders are we’re at one point saying that the Republic wasn’t sovereign to have control over it. Therefore, they have already shown deep weakness towards Beijing. They have accepted to muffled and tussled with by Xi Jinping and his brigades, as the Philippines are less powerful, than the Chinese.

Secondly, Duterte has again shown that he is this weak, as the war-planes and war-ships are put into the South China Sea, as the administration will not react or make a diplomatic spat with them. Even if this is military movement in the nearby area or anything else. Its like he has lost the power of sovereign nation and become a groveling poor uncle to the grandest family member in Beijing. Rodrigo just have to bow his knees and kiss the ring. Accept to be violated and played with, instead of standing ground on the principals of his state. That is not going to war, but questioning the motive of Beijing. Since, they are putting a lot of force close to its borders. That should worry him as the President of his Republic.

“The Philippines said it is “closely monitoring developments” in the area, but diplomatic actions against China’s intrusive behavior will not be publicized. “It is not our policy to publicize every action taken by the Philippine government whenever there are reported developments taking place in the West Philippine Sea and the South China Sea,” the Department of Foreign Affairs said. The department noted the improved relations between China and the Philippines under President Rodrigo Duterte and said it will avoid steps that could undermine the situation. “Moving forward, we are taking a different approach to avoid any drawbacks and challenges,” the department said. Duterte on Saturday said he cannot do anything to oppose China’s militarization of the islands and that he would not risk deploying forces in the South China Sea. This here shows how careful the Philippines are with their powerful neighbor. They might do something later, they accept to kicked in the guts by the Chinese and trying to keep cool. Usually, Duterte is a hot-head who speak his mind first and begs for forgiveness. Therefore, this is a bit weird coming from him and his administration. He has no trouble getting rid of enemies and people who questioning his powers. However, the Chinese can power-play and mock him even, in his backyard with their military force.

You can wonder if the promised Chinese investments deals and aid agreements are the reasons for this carefulness, as well as the lack of territorial integrity on Benham Rise and now with the militarization of the South China Sea. It is like the Chinese are not as friendly as it seems, more like they want to show their strength and not play on others people’s terms, but their own. If they are toying around with the Philippines and showing whose the boss.

It must hurt the pride of Duterte, who likes to be the strong-man, the big-man, the ones whose words matters and decrees are honored. Now, he is played around by Beijing and has to anticipate his next actions. That is not typical Duterte, not at all.

A humiliation doesn’t fit him or his republic well, it is weird. Peace.

Duterte’s Administration is relentless: Since the Philippines declined EU Aid today out of Sovereignty!

Today, the European Union’s grants through the EU-Philippines Trade Related Technical Assistance IV, the fourth project and continuation of state aid between them was declined today. The Southern Asian State protested the language and certain parts of agreement, that the EU was proposing. The republic of Philippines has declined it, because they feel the money is tainted and belittling them. That is why the Rodrigo Duterte administration has decided to leave the money on the table and not take it.

This sort of act is something the EU isn’t used too. It is rare, but the State Aid in the Program of TRTA-IV has its bounds and they setting the score for what and how the Philippines can act. It put boundaries and levels to how it can act, as the EU will monitor and check if the state is complying directly with UN Conventions.

That is putting the granted money in a possible questionable state and insult the Asian counterparts, even if they not even signed into UN Conventions that they could be breaking. This is the sort of attack on the sovereign will the Duterte Administration doesn’t want to comply too. That should be respected, since the EU is also right to put strains on their given funds, but then they shouldn’t expect the receiver to just take it anyway.

– EU-Philippines Trade Related Technical Assistance IV The project contributes primarily to the progressive achievement of SDG Goal 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” but also promotes progress towards Goal 1 “No Poverty” and Goal 10 “Reduced Inequalities”. It will support the uptake of GSP+ preferential tariffs by Philippine exporters therefore offering incentives to comply with UN Conventions on Human Rights which are a prerequisite before GSP+ can be granted (and maintained). The EU monitors compliance with HR Conventions annually. Besides, the action is expected to support FTA negotiations including on labour rights with a view to align the Philippine legislation and enforcement on international best practices” (EU, P: 4, 2016).

As we sees in the documentation of 2016, is really compelling what the EU expect to do. They are really telling that the incentives are made for them to follow UN Conventions, if not the grants will not be maintained or granted the development, nor the projects in the TRTA-IV. The Philippines are in their right mind, to not take the money that would put strains and also be monitored. So if the Philippines wouldn’t comply to the demands of the grants, they would be withheld. Secondly, that meaning, that if the Philippines took the money. They could possibly loose them if the EU doesn’t think they are following the right UN Convention on any given day or by any evidence of violence. Without taking the context or the reason for it. Because that would play to European narrative of the violence and the Drug War, not the basic understanding or the popularity of the war against the political and drug-infested triad’s, that has been in Philippines. So the Duterte administration has their reasons for doing it, not that its beautiful or a success story, but a needed remedy for a already problematic state of drug triad’s in certain parts of the Republic.

“MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The Philippines formally rejected at least P380 million (6.1 million euros) in aid from the European Union, Ambassador Franz Jessen confirmed Wednesday, January 24. Jessen, head of the EU Delegation to the Philippines, was referring to the EU-Philippine Trade Related Technical Assistance (TRTA) worth 6.1 million euros, or around P383.64 million. Asked if the Philippines has ever formalized the rejection of EU aid, Jessen said: “It was formalized in the sense that we had, for example, the TRTA, a document that actually had to be signed by the end of the year. And that has been returned to us unsigned.” In an interview with reporters after the weekly Kapihan sa Manila Bay, Jessen said the TRTA “was rejected at the end of the past year.” The Philippines earlier said it is rejecting all forms of aid that come with conditions, such as respecting human rights” (Esmaquel III, 2018).

That the EU Ambassador Jessen feels slapped in face and humiliated is natural in the circumstances. He should know how Duterte defended his nation in 2017. This isn’t news, they are not accepting to be belittled and told by foreign powers how to act and do. Neither does the EU want to be played second fiddle by the United States or Russia. Neither wants the Philippines. TRTA-4 are now suspended or never unleashed, since the EU-Philippines has had this formal agreements and grants for decades. So the previous government of Philippines has accepted the contracts and Memorandum of Understandings in TRTA to TRTA-III. Now the TRTA-4 had different sorts of things to achieve and projects to support. All from Electricity and Power projects in Mindanao to other sustainable initiatives.

But the 6.1M Euros was the price and the loss for the Philippines. But they would have been monitored and checked their grants by EU Monitors. It wasn’t just the use of Human Rights, but the continues checks to be allowed to get the grants. That is the paternal instinct of a more powerful ally. That is what the EU would have done to the Duterte Administration. Rodrigo Duterte didn’t accept this, neither did his closest allies. Clearly, they didn’t want to risk the embarrassment or being questioned for their internal affairs. Especially not a grant of 6 million euros. That would be a cheap trade for what sort of behavior the EU could do and that should be insulting for any statesman. Peace.

Opinion: Donald J. Trump VS. Ri Yong Ho made UNGA General Debates into a spectacle!

In New York this week the United Nations General Assembly of the 72^nd Session. We can clearly see that the world has changed. Not to the better, but a grim state of affairs. Where the greatest nation and former superpower United States of America (USA) having their President on direct war-talk at the General Assembly. This is not something that is normal, I can never recollect anyone talking like this at this venue. That the United Nations are used in this way is flabbergasting, but Trump never cares about audience or how it affects them. As long as he get PR and becomes the megalomaniac as he always is. Someone, should have learned him this, but the flawed education and obvious indifference of the world. Has been transpired to world long time ago.

I will look first at the most striking words President Donald J. Trump has against the North Korea, than do the same from North Korea Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho. This will be interesting, before discussing their approach from the General Debate at the UNGA. Look!

President Donald Trump on the 19^th September:

“If the righteous many do not confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph. When decent people and nations become bystanders to history, the forces of destruction only gather power and strength. No one has shown more contempt for other nations and for the well being of their own people than the depraved regime in North Korea. It is responsible for the starvation deaths of millions of North Koreans, and for the imprisonment, torture, killing, and oppression of countless more. We saw it in the assassination of the dictator’s brother using banned nerve agents in an international airport. We know it kidnapped a sweet 13-year-old Japanese girl from a beach in her own country to enslave her as a language tutor for North Korea’s spies. If this is not twisted enough, now North Korea’s reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles threatens the entire world with unthinkable loss of human life. It is an outrage that some nations would not only trade with such a regime, but would arm, supply, and financially support a country that imperils the world with nuclear conflict. No nation on earth has an interest in seeing this band of criminals arm itself with nuclear weapons and missiles. The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is ready, willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. That’s what the United Nations is all about; that’s what the United Nations is for. Let’s see how they do. It is time for North Korea to realize that the denuclearization is its only acceptable future. The United Nations Security Council recently held two unanimous 15-0 votes adopting hard-hitting resolutions against North Korea, and I want to thank China and Russia for joining the vote to impose sanctions, along with all of the other members of the Security Council. Thank you to all involved. But we must do much more. It is time for all nations to work together to isolate the Kim regime until it ceases its hostile behavior” (Donald J. Trump, 19.09.2017).

Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho on the 23^rd September:

“Since Trump uttered such reckless and violent words provoking the supreme dignity of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at this very platform, I think it is fair enough for me to make a response in the corresponding tone. During his 8 months in power, he has turned the White House into a noisy marketing place full of crackling sounds of abacus beads and now he has tried to turn the UN arena into a gangsters’ nest where money is respected and bloodshed is the order of the

day. The absurd reality that the person like Trump, a mentally deranged person full of megalomania and complacency, the person who is chastised even by American people as “Commander in Grief, “Lyin King”, “President Evil” is holding the seat of the U.S. President, and the dangerous reality that the gambler who grew old using threats, frauds and all other schemes to acquire a patch of land holds the nuclear button; these are what constitute the gravest threat to the international peace and security today. Due to his lacking of basic common knowledge and proper sentiment, he tried to insult the supreme dignity of my country by referring it to a rocket. By doing so, however, he committed an irreversible mistake of making our rockets’ visit to the entire U.S. mainland inevitable all the more. None other than Trump himself is on a suicide mission. In case innocent lives of the U.S. are lost because of this suicide attack. Trump will be held totally responsible. The respected supreme leader Comrade Kim Jong Un stated: as a man representing the DPRK and on behalf of the dignity and honor of my state and people and on my own, I will make the man holding the prerogative of the supreme command in the U.S. pay dearly for his speech calling for totally destroying the DPRK. Trump might not have been aware what is uttered from his mouth but we will make sure that he bears consequences far beyond his words, far beyond the scope of what he can handle even if he is ready to do so” (Ri Yong Ho, 23.09.2017).

The words are really out of bound. It is not the ordinary, it is no code, no brief statement that could been for many issues or many nations. In this particular event both gentleman and representatives of their nations went in for the kill. First Trump went on his way to offend and endanger the situation. The special thing is that both Yong Ho and Trump claims they are on a suicide mission, either its the American President or the North Korean one. There both of them are saying it. If this is true, than them both are possibly killing themselves and their nations for some brownie-points. That has clearly not sunk in at any of the parties.

The second thing you see, is how they both are envisions the United Nations and their role. That Trump think its a tool for his use and that the powers inside UN are for his causes and favors. He will see in the future that he is wrong. Since that is a consensus and majority vote in favors of sanctions and change of protocol towards a state. Nothing that happens on just a popularity contest. North Korea on the other hand, is worried about the vision Trump has and his agenda to destroy them. That is natural defense from them, as they have the worries of the rest world blowing them to bits. Trump doesn’t understand that others has self-defense and natural reactions to threats. Neither understanding the consequences of his actions. Which makes it ironic, that the North Korean counterpart see the same.

This here will not end here with these statements from either parties. The tide has not turned. And that is sad since the conflict and warfare will hurt someone in the end. Just like the United States Sanctions against North Korea and sudden move by China to stop selling Petrol. Not that anyone want another state with Atomic Bombs, but clearly it is hard to trust Trump with it either. He is not the stable world-leader, its hard to know if his fit to it. Since, he attacks without thinking consequence of his actions.

We will see how this goes, but these sort acts and statement cannot become the new normal. This sort of diplomacy and risk-taking shouldn’t be played on the grand-stage like this. It is not the place and neither is the possible result. United States should know better, they have been involved in conflicts for decades and are vital part in plenty. North Korea, who knows the Americans has interests in the South-East China Sea, should be careful, but they have to answer to not lose face. That is natural in the circumstance. They are squeezed by sanctions and further pressure, the United States knows this. United Nations should be used for peaceful means and possible place for debate for a better future. Not create war… Peace.

United States: Yoho and Sherman letter to Sec. Tillerson and Sec. Mnuchin on North Korean Sanctions (02.08.2017)

Opinion: North Korea continue to test missiles, the world needs to react with diplomatic means before someone is hurt!

Yesterday, the North Koreans sent up another rocket to the sky, again the Japanese sent people into shelters and made sure they we’re safe. The rockets could have hit one of their islands. The South Koreans are getting more worried as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and their President Kim Jung-Un continues with missiles and launches. The extensive works and promotions of their arms development should worry.

This is just as the KCNA today issued this news:

“Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) — Trump announced that they would sell off weapons worth billions of U.S. dollars to south Korea. And he allowed Japan and south Korea to increase the quantity for buying U.S.-made military equipment. Timed to coincide with this, a spokesman for the White House at a press conference said that now is not the time to focus on the dialogue with north Korea. Minju Joson Saturday in a commentary says that Trump’s behavior goes to clearly prove that he has neither will nor ability to defuse tension on the Korean peninsula but he has only merchant-like calculation to use the aggravated situation as a golden opportunity for making money” (KCNA, 16.09.2017).

So the state propaganda is in full-effect. The North Korean are ready to blame everyone else for their activity. Not looking within itself and wondering, if they we’re shooting up less missiles, the United Nations Security Council wouldn’t have reasons for sanctioning it. Neither would United States has to sell and help Japan and South Korea with missiles defense like THAAD System.

The acts of North Korea is the reasons for the tensions, also the words of President Trump. Because he has sounded like warmonger, who is ready to send battleships and make another Korea-War. Since it went so smoothly during the last Korean war. President Donald Trump needs a repeat of that, this time hire his friend Eric Prince and his company to send mercenaries to the Korean Peninsula. That would be nightmare, not only for President Kim Jung-Un, but for all parties in the South East Asia. Nothing good would come out of it.

But North Korea if it shoots down a boat or hit land. Actually kills someone with a missiles, even if it was an exercise and just trying new technology. It might spark something unheard of. As long as life is not lost and the heads of South Korea and Japan, are keeping their cool. The warfare will not start. The loss of life will not happen. But the more you play with fire, the more likely someone is actually going to get burnt. At this rate, its just a matter of time.

President Kim Jung-Un does this to spread to fear and awe. But it is not working outside of North Korea. Even if China is peaceful and want to continue with cordial relationship. Even if South Korean government don’t want war, they still wants their citizens safe without fear of tomorrow, the same can be said by Japanese. The United States are there to support allies, but if they are really hit. Will the US put troops and bigger guns on the ground?

We can hope for dialogue, for debate and for negotiations, so that the North Korean doesn’t continue to shoot. That they hopefully doesn’t suddenly hit Seoul, Tokyo or any other place where millions of innocent people lives. North Koreans can with the right type of hydrogen bomb or other device really do lots of damage and hurt. The world doesn’t want to see that. Just like the rest of the world, this part of the world don’t need a war. No place needs a war. The Korean peninsula needs diplomacy and possible aid. So that the North Koreans and the rest of world can engage in possible solution to the stalemate. As the DPRK President is fearing for livelihood and life. Therefore he is using fear and missiles to get respect. Peace.

Opinion: North Korea creates more uncertainty in the South-East Asia as it develops the H-Bomb!

This is not the news you wants to wake-up to on a Sunday morning. You want your tea and coffee, while sipping it, without worry of another giant war. But the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) or the North Korea government clearly trying to push their military capacity. They have been shooting more missiles lately. This has not created a peaceful atmosphere, as Donald Trump as throwing shades of warnings, without any policy or plan. The Japanese has had their warnings and even had a missile over their territory. South Korea has also taken precautions, as they have more anti-missile system, the THAAD-System that they got from the United States. Therefore, the pressure from the nations around the United Nations, clearly has not worked.

Since the DPRK are evolving their missiles and now had made the H-Bomb, this is the news reports from the Korean peninsula and the countries around. Take a look!

Official Statement from DPRK on the H-Bomb:

“Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) — Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un guided the work for nuclear weaponization on the spot. He was greeted by senior officials of the Department of Munitions Industry of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and scientists of the Nuclear Weapons Institute before being briefed on the details of nuclear weaponization. The institute recently succeeded in making a more developed nuke, true to the strategic intention of the WPK for bringing about a signal turn in nuclear weaponization. He watched an H-bomb to be loaded into new ICBM. Saying that he felt the pride of indomitably bolstering up the nuclear forces at a great price while seeing the Juche-oriented thermonuclear weapon with super explosive power made by our own efforts and technology, he expressed great satisfaction over the fact that our scientists do anything without fail if the party is determined to do. He was acquainted himself with technical specifications and structural and operational characters of the H-bomb. The scientists further upgraded its technical performance at a higher ultra-modern level on the basis of precious successes made in the first H-bomb test” (KCNA, 2017).

CCUK statement on anti-DPRK news:

“A spokesman for the Central Committee of the Journalists Union of Korea in a statement on September 1 said this clearly proves that the puppet conservative media are made up of hack writers, servants of bellicose forces at home and abroad and group of traitors with whom we cannot live together” (…) “1. We will sharpen the just writing brushes to defend our leader, our Party and our social system and win a final victory in the confrontation with the US.” (…) “2. We will track down the puppet conservative reptile writers fostering discord within the nation under the auspices and at the instigation of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad, and throw overboard all of them” (…) “ 3. Our grime and merciless pen will sight the bases which commit hideous crimes against the DPRK by spreading misinformation about it, and beat them to pieces” (…) “The puppet conservative media escalating confrontation with the DPRK while daring challenge the annihilating spirit of the army and people of the DPRK will never be able to evade the shower of retaliatory blows” (Uriminzokkiri, 2017).

China Statement on the DPRK H-Bomb:

“BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — China’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Sunday, expressing firm opposition to and strong condemnation of a nuclear test undertaken by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). The DPRK Sunday successfully detonated an H-bomb, a hydrogen bomb that can be carried by an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), DPRK’s Central Television announced. This was the sixth nuclear test the DPRK has undertaken. “Today, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, despite universal opposition from the international community, conducted another nuclear test. The Chinese government expresses firm opposition to and strong condemnation of the test,” said the statement of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs” (Yamai, 2017).

Phone-Call between Japanese and South Korean diplomats:

“SEOUL, Sept. 3 (Yonhap) — Top diplomats of South Korea and Japan held a phone conversation on Sunday to discuss countermeasures against North Korea’s sixth nuclear test, a foreign ministry official here said. Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha spoke with her Japanese counterpart Taro Kono via phone, the official said. They were expected to share their concerns about the North’s escalating threats and discuss responses including the pursuit of a new, tougher U.N. Security Council resolution against its regime” (Yonhap, 2017).

The United Nations Security Council sanctions and the ample pressure from China has not worked. If the international community doesn’t start a clear dialogue with DPRK. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has to make sure their nations isn’t in the firing line. The Chinese clearly has to make sure their trading partner and neighbor acts righteously. Since they are now making more advanced weapons. This is more worrying since they can damage the nations around it.

The H-Bomb production and test, the DPRK are really forcefully pushing their agenda. That even the North Korean are preparing to retaliate for the words of the United States. This is really not making the situation better. The DPRK are able to develop better weapons, while the nations around has to react to the ascending missiles from Pyongyang government. This is not peaceful measures, this is not something just to make statements. It is time to for real diplomats to travel there and discuss the future.

This is now needed, the Korean peninsula needs it and it is dire. The experiments of new weapons, the tests and the messages sent from North Korea. Their actions are causing troubles even in Japan, South Korea and should do so for China. But the ASEAN, should come out with a protocol and trying to fix things with the DPRK. Because, if the world doesn’t act swift upon it. They might continue with their weapons progression. Not only to strike fear, but to create a big enough arsenal to actually shoot a major city into oblivion. Therefore, the DPRK needs a peaceful resolution and a diplomatic one. This one needs that and the international organization together with partners of the DPRK, needs to do it now. Peace.

The World needs Rambo right now!

John Rambo: “[alternate line from Director’s Cut] You’re not going anywhere. And there isn’t one of us that doesn’t want to be someplace else. But this is what we do, who we are. Live for nothing, or die for something. Your call” (John Ramo, 2008).

The world is spinning in circle and things are continuing sometimes without any change. But the situations are still uncertain. There are fleeing civilians from the Democratic Republic of Congo, continues civil-war inside South Sudan, oppression in Burundi and Rwanda. Grand issues in regions of Somalia as AMISOM fiercely goes after Al-Shabaab. The continued civil-war infused with control from Saudi Arabia and United States in Yemen. The war inside Syria with the fleeing refugees from there. The international complications this all assess. The massive amounts of people who are inflicted in this conflicts.

This is also the issues created by and their national alliances, like Syria are also in hot-bed with Russia, United States, Turkey and Iran. The same can be said with the international implications to the stalemate between Qatar and the rest of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). That the Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain and so on are all blocking, so many nations has cut their diplomatic ties with Qatar.

With all the conflicts and bigger diplomatic spats, the world needs Rambo’s. Especially considering that the deaths where it doesn’t counts is showed when it comes to mud-slides in Sierra Leone. That the world is significant fragile is with the President Trump and the nuclear codes, the vicious attacks of both representatives and international leaders like Merkel and President Kim Jung-Un. The threats between North Korea and United States are clearly flaring up the tensions in South-East Asia, as the rockets keep shooting-up and testing.

Therefore, with this we need Rambo, someone to come in with confidence. Rambo needs to come into the problems and sort them out. So that the diplomatic disputes gets sorted out, as his spring fears into the ones who are in the same room. If Rambo came with his weapons and his rhetoric, maybe Trump wouldn’t such and ass. Maybe Putin would try out other tricks, than actually using methods of deception. As so many other world leaders would seek peace instead of wars and refugees. Rambo could come in and make a change.

The nice talk of Bono, the ethical codes of United Nations has not worked. The non-peaceful atmosphere is steady in too many places, to many deaths should be examined and not die without any consideration. Rambo could have helped, made sure the council and the world forums would actually not talk, but act. The crisis in South Sudan, DRC, Burundi, Syria, Yemen, Middle East and so on.

The world needs Rambo, the world needs a hero who can actually give a damn, not just make the world a place for multi-national companies who rob the resources and would not care for kids working for militias, so the world can cobalt for the smart-phones production. Rambo needs to come and make change, he might not be perfect. But something has to change. Someone has step-in, Rambo needs to come and significantly change in the world. Times change, but Rambo might sort it out!

President Trump’s insane call to the Governor of Guam!

Governor Eddie Baza Calvo must feel strange and weird after the call from his Commander-In-Chief President Donald Trump. He must be wondering what the hell that is going-on. The White House released this statement expressing their concern for Guam today: “President Donald J. Trump spoke yesterday with Guam Governor Eddie Baza Calvo. President Trump reassured Governor Calvo and our fellow Americans on Guam that United States stand ready to ensure the safety and security of the people of Guam, along with the rest of America” (White House, 12.08.2017).

With that sort of statement you would expect the conservation to a bit different, than how it really was. Since the President who is escalating tensions with North Korea and their dictatorship, the militarized leadership of Pyonyang, who has threaten to attack Guam with long-rage missiles. Clearly, the American territory are under siege. So, let’s just take some of the words from Trump talking to Calvo!

Calvo said this: “Mr. President, as the governor of Guam representing the people of Guam, and as an American citizen, I have never felt more safe or more confident with you at the helm. So with all the criticism going on over there, from a guy that’s being targeted, we need a guy like you. So I am thankful and I’m glad you’re holding the helm sir”.

The governor trying to ease the president and give him confidence, even nearly sounding like supporter, but clearly, he is not ready for what the President will say. Since he cannot imagine, this sort of conversation. Since the President clearly like the admiration and thinks the flattering talk is genuine.

Trump said this: “Well, we’re going to do a great job, don’t worry about a thing. They should have had me eight years ago. I wish. Nobody with my thought process. Because that was the last time, but uh, and frankly you could have said that for the last three presidents. But you’re gonna be taken care of. You’ve become – Eddie, I have to tell you, you’ve become extremely famous. All over the world they’re talking about Guam and they’re talking about you”.

I don’t think Governor Calvo is in public office to become famous or wanting the North Korean tension and possible missiles launched from the Korean Peninsula because the rhetoric of Trump. I am sure that Calvo and the local government wants silence and less threats to their lives. They could clearly lived in peace and calm if it wasn’t for the war-talk of President Trump. North Korea is only answering back to the threats of nuclear warfare and annihilation. Surely, the fame isn’t what is at risk for Calvo, that is that the island he reside and where is family lives will be bombed by foreign forces.

Trump continues to say: “So look, governor, I just want to let you know. We’re with you 1000%. You have nothing – you notice he hasn’t spoken recently. He doesn’t talk so much anymore. And we’ll see how it all works out, but you’re not going to have a problem. You don’t – this is between you and I, but you don’t like to talk. You can’t do that. And you can’t do that with people like us. So I just wanted to pay my respects and say you seem like a helluva guy”.

Trump is weird and insane, talk about if and when President Kim Jong-Un talks and such. It is not all Presidents who hugs the media and is obsessed with their own ego’s like Trump. North Koreans are spreading propaganda fitting their works and objectives with clear strategies, not like Trump who does whatever to gain popularity and create deflection crisis. That he says North Korea wont be a problem, says it all, when the North Koreans can actually hit Guam with their missiles and their technology.

I am sure Calvo couldn’t care less about his own state of fame, more about the worry of the missiles coming his way to, the island where he is governing. Clearly, Trump do not understand that part or have the clarity of the efforts and worries the locals would have for a possible air-strike. As the Local Government of Guam, as published warning material for a possible air attack from North Korea. That is how serious the leadership there takes it. Something, the President doesn’t seem to grasp. Because his unique mind doesn’t understand the worry of the people on Guam.

Guam, should not feel safe by this and by the response the American President had. He is ignorant and also clearly in his own state of mind. That doesn’t fit the paradigm and the possible plans of North Korea. North Koreans has an agenda and a plan, Mr. President is just winging-it and hoping it doesn’t fail him. Peace.
