“Three days ago (02.02.2016), it emerged that Apollo Sansa Kabumbuli, the Kamuswaga of Kooki Chiefdom was arrested by Special Forces Command officers for attempting to crash into the convoy of the Vice President, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi. Here are the pictures of that incident at Kyajubira village near Bukunda trading center along Masaka-Mutukula Highway via the Observer newspaper. The Vice President, also Member of Parliament for Bukoto County Central constituency since 1996, was returning from his campaign rallies in Kyanamukaka sub-county, Masaka. Eye witnesses say trouble started after Kamuswaga, who was driving himself in his official vehicle, refused to give way to Ssekandi’s convoy. Ssekandi’s body guards swung into action and threatened to shoot the Kamuswaga, prompting him to draw out his gun and point it at the guards, leading to a scuffle and ensuing arrest” (NBS TV, 2016)

Appolo who was driving himself in his official car with the kingdom emblem embroided numberplate in company of a female friend, overtook the VP Edward Sekandi’s convoy at Kyajubira along Masaka-Mutukula road, he was chased,pulled over,and immediately grounded by the VP’s escorts before dumping him at the next police post”.
