South Sudan: Maj. Gen. Acuil Lual Acuil resigns from SPLM/A-IO to join SSUF/A (26.05.2018)

Eh! This should get old, but alas, this will continue to be an issue as long as Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the President. Especially, since he continues to open his mouth. He has to be addressed, because he lies and deceives the population. They shouldn’t see past and not challenge him, since he has been ruling for over three decades and has little to show. That is why he attacks others, because his own track record is eroding with time.
Look at the report today from Watchdog Uganda:
“President Yoweri Museveni said that FDC members are there to fail government projects only, citing that there is nothing that FDC can do that is developmental. He added that the opposition doesn’t reach him, that only those of NRM can. The opposition doesn’t share on the national cake. “You voted Rolland Kaginda and Fred Turyamuhwezi in Rukungiri municipality and Rujumbura counties and you’ve benefited. Do not waste your remaining chance, and the only chance is Winnie Matsiko,” Museveni said” (Watchdog Uganda – ‘‘Don’t waste your time voting FDC’, Museveni urges Rukungiri people’ 29.05.2018 link: http://watchdoguganda.com/dont-waste-your-time-voting-fdc-museveni-urges-rukungiri-people/).
So, it is special that someone whose been running the nation from 1986 are talking about wasting time. As he himself should have delivered roads, education, industrialization and modernization of the Republic. However, he has been preoccupied with enriching himself and his cronies, instead of development. That is proven.
The man with a vision, haven’t even been able to deliver his biggest promising plan, the Ten Point Program, Vision 2020 upgraded to Vision 2040, National Development Plan I and National Development Plan II and so on. There are so many unfinished plans and policies where the procurement, tenders and the financing has been questionable. There is even evidence that the Universal Primary Education is failing badly, instead of being one of the few achievements that the President could actually show to the world after three decades in power.
That is why a President like this shouldn’t talk about waste of time. He has wasted three decades in powers and has little or nothing to show for it. Unless bigger notes, giant loans and lack of accountability is wishful results to show. If a growing cabinet, making more districts and more sub-counties, and not initial organizations that is good. It is only to hire cronies and making sure there are more people hired locally too. As well as more RDCs and others who are appointed directly from the President. Therefore, a growing bureaucracy, but not showing positive effects of this. Only a higher numbers of districts, but not proving anything substantial.
President Museveni is the proof of waste of time. If he had used his time wisely, there would be infrastructure, schools and actual possible space for business, instead there are Presidential Handshakes, there are bribes and inside trading within the administration. You need favors to be able to grow your business. Especially given a hand from the State House.
He can say the FDC is waste of time, but they don’t have power in the Parliament, that is the NRM. A NRM that you, Museveni controls. Therefore, the NRM has the ability and could do things and has had the ability to do so since 1986. But still haven’t delivered anything substantial.
Mr. President, your a waste of time and the Republic sadly have to live with it. Peace.

It is weird, but when it comes to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his words today. Has he checked his appointments and the people around him. He has a hankering for getting people from the Western Uganda, especially the ones in and around Rukungiri, where your are doling monies these days, as your trying to capture a By-Election for Woman’s MP slot. Museveni, is really trying to show his integrity. However, his actions are talking louder, than his words. First his wanted message from the rallies today, then his real aspirations.
M7 in Rukungiri:
“I have heard some people using sectarian sentiments to campaign in Rukungiri. These should be rejected. The NRM decided long ago that tribalism does not build institutions. For example, you cannot recruit an army based on tribalism. It is on the basis of building a national army devoid of tribalism that we have the peace we enjoy today. This peace has resultantly led to sustainable development in terms of roads, electricity, schools and hospitals” (Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, 28.05.2018).
Nilepost reported in December 2017:
“Armed Forces. Four-star generals: On analyzing of the 9 highest-ranking UPDF personnel it was established that Western region has 6 (67%) trailed by Central, Eastern and Northern with 1 each, constituting 11%. Lieutenant Generals: Of the 6 examined, 2 were from Eastern Uganda with the other regions sharing one apiece. Major Generals: In examination of the 16 major generals, it was revealed that Western region had 11 (69%), Eastern and northern stood at 2 (13%) and Central with 1 (6%). Brigadiers: In terms of regional distribution, Western region stands higher with 27 (53%), followed by Central 10 (20%), Northern 8 (16%) and Eastern which has 6 (12%)” (Nilepost – ‘Report: Western region dominates jobs in army, police, foreign missions’ 14.12.2017).
Let me just say, again Museveni is all talk, but not acting. Its his twisted tongue and his words that doesn’t make sense. If he was against tribalism, he wouldn’t favor the Western in the armed forces. That is insane to say, as the same stats are in the rest of the government, the appointed and hired are from the region. In dozens compared to the rest of Uganda. It happens to be from the area and the districts around Rukungiri.
So Museveni, maybe you should come with a better sentiment, something that would mirror reality. Like the actual truth for ones. That would be fine. Because this sort of article or blog, is to damn easy to write these days.
Museveni, Mr. President if your campaigning and not thinking the bribing, the sudden need to give to Rukungiri, because of the popularity of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate in the area. Then, you should actually come with speeches where the facts and reality are fitting as a glove. Right now your sending out doves and instead of feeding them, your taking out your shot-gun and blowing them to smithereens, it is like he doesn’t understand the reality.
The reality is that his government is directly a tribal affair, which he has sanctioned and done all this decades. There is only the paid-off and the loyally bribed cronies from the other parts, but the key allies are all Western Ugandan based people. Therefore, him saying NRM decided long ago to counter that, he hasn’t really done so. Its still clear that the key figures and the ones highest up the food-chain are from Western Uganda.
You might lie to the blind sheep, but not to my kind.
Tribalism is rampant in the UPDF and the NRM hasn’t really fought this. Except with a twisted tongue and an excuse of a mind, which happens to be the President.
Peace.

“We can know only that we know nothing. And that is the highest degree of human wisdom.” – Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace
I don’t get it, I really don’t, I have no idea where he get this wisdom. What sort of schooling or tale of wisdom. There isn’t anything I can come up with to answer this or find something that similar as what President Museveni really stated. That there was to much peace, therefore, the reason for kidnappings and murders. This lazy of the President. It is just weird as hell. The hell-bound narrative that peace is leading to insecurity. What gives Mr. President?
It cannot be so, then the peaceful nations on other sides of the world, would have more kidnappings, extortion’s and also dozens of murders. This insecurity is because of the lack of resources, the need to kidnap people, because of unemployment and lack of work. There are so many systemic and problematic parts of the government, that the insecurity is the lack of organization and governance of the security organizations within the Republic. This is not because of too much PEACE.
There is never to much PEACE. There can never be enough PEACE. That is lie, a big fat lie. There can never be enough freedom and liberty in the world, there will always be fights to keep things or to ensure people have their freedoms and the liberty to live within the bounds of the laws. That they can be law-abiding citizens, who are living within the means of the state and within the community. But there cannot be to much peace. That is not true. Then there would be total chaos in Northern and Central Europe, where it has been peaceful for decades. There should be grand gangs going wild, kidnapping and making sure the citizens would fear their neighborhoods, however, that is not the case.
Therefore, the President is in hot-water and knows, if not he should know, that its his generals, his government and his institutions that is malfunctioning. The evidence is in the lack of evidence collecting, the problems of investigating the murders and also the problem of insecurity with the recent amounts of kidnappings.
There is never to much peace, the state of peace is there because of the security of the people and the citizens are provided by the state. The insecurity and the lack of thereof, is because of the lack of organization and protocol to carry out the needed safety measures for the citizens. That is why the system is cracking. Not because of the borders are peaceful, it is because the kidnappers are seeing wealth and a way out of poverty to kidnap people and get ransom. Not because of too much peace.
There is never to much peace, just not enough freedom and liberty in the state. There is never to much peace. Never enough peace. Never ever ever enough peace. That should be installed in someones veins, tattooed on their forehead and repeat it to themselves. There is never enough peace. It just doesn’t exist. There is always something and some threats of some kind. However, how big or small. There are criminal gangs and other people acting vile up society. There are conflicts internally who are trying to take away civil liberties of certain individuals, even if we like it or not. That is just the sad reality of the world we are living in.
However, there never to much freedom, never too much liberty within bounds of rule of law and within sovereign states, there is never to much peace. That is utter nonsense and a big fat lie. A big juice burger of lie. Peace.

Abed is hungry, very hungry, his plate is empty; therefore he seeks relevance in the misty world of cronies and opportunists. Abed Bwanika, the People’s Development Party (PDP) leader and long-time running President Candidate is seeking to become relevant again. He has been missing the spotlight and being in the window of opportunity since the Campaigns and General Election of 2016. He is now defending the Kiggundu math-class and the cooking of the numbers of the Electoral Commission. He is accepting the assault on the freedoms of the people, the blockade of internet and social-media, even transfer of mobile money, the police detaining and charging opposition politicians like they we’re the mob. That is what Bwanika this week is accepting.
Therefore, you know he does it seek relevance, because he knows he will fall into oblivion, into a misty fog of grey goose and sluts. He will not be anyone of concern anymore, he is now a nobody, who at some point ran for Presidency, but is now just a common citizen, which is the reality that Bwanika cannot stomach. Beecause Bwanika want to be someone and cannot figure out how to be that. That is why he is defending the General Election of 2016. Even if he knows he is losing. That is what Bwanika is doing, he defending his loss and trying to capture the losses. So he can get a win out of nothing.
It is ironic speaking about the love of the Republic, rule of law and democracy, when he is defending voter rigging, police brutality, arbitrary arrests and illegal detentions of opposition politicians. Maybe if he spent as much time under house-arrest as Besigye or behind bars like FDC Activists, he would have seen the world a bit differently. However, the ignorance of Bwanika is clear. It is open and he is putting salt in the wounds.
That is because he wants to eat, he wants to have plenty, and he has seen how Beti Kamya and the likes are eating, and enjoying life under the wings of the President. He want to be covered like them. Not walking in the wilderness without any cover. Bwanika needs his guiding star and wants his envelopes too.
So with in mind, I don’t blame him, he wants to eat and there is not so many ways to do it. Unless, he wants put in work or give the president a handshake to run a market in Kampala. Bwanika wants to be head honcho, but knows that has to be in accordance with the President. That is why he has suddenly moved in this way. He knows that and we who follows the politics of the lands knows that.
It is not like I want to jinx it, but if he would get appointed to some random outpost or mere lack of importance within the administration. He would take it and kiss the ring. Because he want to get paid without any accountability. Bwanika wants relevance; he wants to be in the spotlight and properly paid!
That is why he is suddenly defending the General Election of 2016, even when he deep in his heart. He knows he is wrong. Because he is hungry and wants eat, he is tired of beans; he wants meat and a decent salary. Peace.

Belgium regrets the lack of transparency of the process of the revision of the Constitution.
BRUSSELS, Belgium, May 24, 2018 – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders expresses strong concern following the referendum of 17th May on the revision of the Constitution of Burundi, the results of which were announced on Monday.
Both the majority and the opposition were eventually allowed to campaign during the official period. Belgium regrets however the lack of transparency of the process of the revision of the Constitution. This process took place in a climate of threats and intimidation symbolized by numerous arbitrary arrests of militants from the opposition, pressures on the population and grave violations of press freedom.
The revision of the Constitution may threaten the achievements of the Arusha process in terms of protection of ethnic and political minorities. It may also undermine the dialogue put in place by the mediation of the East African Community. With the risk that the current crisis could deepen.
Over the last few days, Didier Reynders raised the situation with many bilateral and multilateral partners, including the African Union and the United Nations. All are convinced that the only solution to the current crisis is an inclusive dialogue without prior conditions, and are therefore calling the authorities of Burundi to quickly show gestures of openness which would allow a reconciliation of all parts of society, and put Burundi on the track of democracy and of the rule of law.

I wonder, as I read today that Janet Museveni, the Minister for Education and Sports was honoured with the dutiful award from the Buganda Leaders Caucus? I wonder at what rate and has she done?
Other than pissing off Stella Nyanzi, not being able to mediate in the sex-for-marks saga at Makerere, neither being there when the students was protesting the added fees. Neither being vocal when the husband was saying that public schools and the Universal Primary Education was crap. Still, with all of that in mind, the BLC still saw it fit to give her the honour. I think the name and her ties to the President is more important, than her actual achievements. Because, there is little or mediocre performance, also thin-skinned person who expected to be praised. Just like the BLC have done now.
If the minister was serious, why isn’t there any follow-up on the promises of building stadiums and others. Like the Gold Medalists and the Olympic winners are supposed to get patronage and salaries by the state, because of the glory they have done on behalf of the state. But, nah, that is just wishful thinking and lack of allocations.
To give her an award is nonsense, it is because of patronage, not because of her services, that is lie. A giant lie, the big giant elephant in the room and it is farting all over the place. We all know that and to say otherwise is to be foolish. We know and they know.
Janet Museveni the best Minister in the Cabinet? Really? Not because of her relation and her ties to the President. Get out of here. What real impact has she done? Other than telling parents to pack the kids with good food before going to school and secure the roads for the kids? What has she done that is profound and significant?
Because there aren’t really any impact or change, the lack of transparency and accountability is clear, as Up-Country the schools are depleted and falling apart. Even a little wind and the walls would shake, the lack of planning and resources are staggering, the lack of salaries and double-jobs for teachers are a huge problem. So to give her the award by the BLC is proper nonsense and waste of time.
Therefore, I will not write anymore, I don’t care about the leopards anus or his wife, but she doesn’t deserve this award. She don’t, not that the bar is high in the NRM government, but this is just foolish. It’s the UPDF that does the work when needed, so if there was any who deliver anything. It’s the Ministry of Defence, not that, it is something I want to say loud, but hey, at least they do something. They act upon their mandate and deliver, even if it is cruel and is insane. They still deliver within the SACCOs, Operation Wealth Creation, Delivering Mosquito nets, fighting army-worms and whatnot. They have results of some kind. The Ministry of Education and Sports, not so much. Peace.
