African Union’s support to the Somali Transition Plan and the upcoming AU-UN Joint Review of African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) – (07.05.2018)

The Commissioner for Peace and Security – Amb. Smail Chergui and the Prime Minister agreed that AMISOM should continue engaging and contributing to political processes in Somalia.

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, May 7, 2018 – The Commissioner for Peace and Security – Amb. Smail Chergui and the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia – H.E. Hassan Ali Khayre exchanged views on AU’s support to the Somali Transition Plan and the upcoming AU-UN Joint Review of AMISOM. During the discussion, Amb. Smail Chergui made reference to the Communique of the Peace and Security Council adopted at its 769th Meeting held on Monday 30 April 2018 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia which commends the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) for the finalization of the Somalia Transition Plan. The Communique further appreciates the critical role of AMISOM in the transition process which should ultimately enable the FGS to take over primary security responsibility of Somalia.

Relatedly, the Commissioner and the Prime Minister agreed that AMISOM should continue engaging and contributing to political processes in Somalia. In this regard, AMISOM will extend its civilian presence across AMISOM’s area of responsibility to provide support to inclusive political processes. It was also agreed that the role of the AU is critical in providing capacity building support, including training and mentoring, to the Somalia National Army (SNA) and Somali Police Force (SPF). Additionally, AMISOM will continue to support stabilization and other related activities as provided for in the Somali Transition Plan.

Based on the above, it was reiterated that the upcoming AU-UN Joint Review of AMISOM as per UNSCR 2372, should consider enhancing the existing capacities and capabilities of both AMISOM and Somali Security Institutions to effectively facilitate the Transition.

Ruto snubbed at Kabarak: Next time have an official Plan B!

Marcus Burnett: Is this still plan B?

Mike Lowery: Naw, this is definitely plan C!” (Bad Boys 2, 2003).

Before politics, William Ruto was a walking preacher, who later joined in with the Orange Democratic Movement. Until he got tired and couldn’t eat enough. So he launched the United Republican Party in January 2012. In December 2012 he went into an alliance with Uhuru Kenyatta. That led to the victory of the 2013 General Election and also the formed alliance, that became a joint party now named Jubilee Alliance Party. With this in mind, Ruto has been playing the cards as he has seen fit.

When he was on the rise to power, before becoming someone to mention, he used the platform of Raila Odinga to become someone. While he didn’t rise enough or eat enough. He went out of that party and created his own. That he did just in time to join the The National Alliance of Kenyatta and create the Jubilee. So he could live among the allies and secure the battlefront against his former allies.

This weekend, as the bridging gaps between ODM and Kenyatta is in full affect. The handshake that has put torn in the flesh of many and also far from patching the hurt. Still, Ruto want to be the big-man and be someone you respect. Therefore, he doesn’t want to seen as a leach, but someone who can carry himself and importance. This weekend has shown how much power he really has.

When Gideon Moi, the KANU leader, the son of former President Daniel Arap Moi. Everyone of some relevance visits him and have talks. The likes of Odinga and Kenyatta has recently been there in the home in Kabarak. This weekend the Deputy President traveled to Kabarak with his helicopter. However, the doctors appointment was more important, than seeing Ruto and shaking his hands.

Whatever reasons for the snub, this is still showing the obvious. That Ruto isn’t as all powerful, he didn’t become the victor of the handshake between Kenyatta and Odinga. That was the first thought coming to mind. As it seemed that the grand-big-man, with his little village project of houses and expanding businesses, he is clearly not respected. That is accurate to say. Because, the reports of Gideon Moi being behind the snub. Shows that KANU has respect for Kenyatta, but not Ruto. He is lucky enough to be DP, but not lucky enough to visit and have lunch with the former President. Wonder if the same would happen if he visited Mwai Kibaki?

Because Odinga went there too… Ruto might have made a Public Relations impact, as people feels sorry or people are disgusted in Gideon Moi’s actions to block him from having lunch in Kaberak this weekend. However, I just feel that this shows lack of power that the Deputy President currently has. Secondly, he is disrespected and also shown the door. Therefore, a man with his office and stature can be blocked like a bloke asking out a girl and getting the door shut in the face. Instead of eating out and having a decent date. That is what happen to Ruto. Which is for all reasons humiliated.

But it also make Gideon looking giddy for the wrong reasons, as he knew that Ruto was coming, but sent his father to Doctor. Such a gentleman.

This is the first shot from Gideon, as people are speculating about 2022. However, this shows just how fickle the roads to power are. Even when your on the top, you can still get shade like everybody else. That has been seen with the sudden Kabarak visit from Ruto. Maybe prepare a believable Plan B? Because, you cannot trust anyone I suppose. Peace.

Kenyatta apologized, but will he patch the hurt?

In the State of the Nation Address, the fifth of his kind, President Uhuru Kenyatta did go into the expected territories, however, he went in one direction I didn’t anticipate. He asked for forgiveness. But as a leader, I hope he acts, because he knows how he came to power for the second term in 2017. We know how he was the loudest voice of discontent, the one who has blatantly disregarded the rule of law, the one that has used the army and the police to hurt civilians. Therefore, the ones that was in-charge of doing these ills should pay for the hurt they caused. Not just, apologize and move-on. Just as if Rail Odinga got his handshake and his role in government, so now he does not care how the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) rigged the game. Here is the part of the speech I felt had some values, worth mentioning.

“We also learned, again, a hard truth. Neither peace nor unity are a given; we have to work for them. I say so because last year taught us that if we don’t put an end to unrestrained political competition, it will put an end to Kenya. You saw what happened. In the heat of the campaign, words of anger, malice, and hatred were spoken. Politics was no longer a debate between opponents on issues; it was a clash of irreconcilable enemies. You saw the consequences: lives lost, property destroyed, our unity sapped. I want to be clear here: never again should Kenyan life be lost for politics’ sake; never again should Kenyans’ property be destroyed on account of politics. But that will not just happen on its own. All of us, and in particular we leaders here, will have to admit that last year, we failed in our duty to preserve the unity of this country. And we must make amends. First, I pray that all of us will spend the days and weeks after this address repairing the bonds that frayed last year. Let us apologize for our words, and for the anger and malice that Kenyans heard. From Mandera to Maseno, from Mbita to Mvita, from Lodwar to Lunga Lunga, let us shake hands and embrace our neighbours, and let us celebrate the diversity that is God’s gift to us. Let every leader in the country reach out to our sons and daughters, and remind them that they have it in them to forge a Kenya that speaks gently, that criticizes constructively, and that embraces and respects dissent and competition as healthy and civilized ways of collaboration. And since leadership is best done not by exhortation but by example, let me do as I have asked you to do. If there was anything I said last year that hurt or wounded you, if I damaged the unity of this country in any way, I ask you to forgive me, and to join me in repairing that harm” (Uhuru Kenyatta – State of the Nation Address in Parliament, 02.05.2018).

It is good to hear this from the President, I just hope it is sincere, but if it is, then there is need for action. Not just handshaking Odinga, give him some coins and thinks the families, the tragic deaths that occurred on your watch goes away. All the Extra-Judicial Killings, the big shots who sudden killed days ahead of the elections. Those will be remembered, they will not be forgotten, even if you ask forgiveness. They are still bloodstains on the hands of the President, who hasn’t really done anything to investigate or more like a cover-up to not look into those who has lost their lives. So that he could rule a second term in office.

I wish it was differently, but it wasn’t only innocent civilians that passed away because of protest, police-brutality and electioneering. There was people who mattered and was high upon the food-chain, still the deaths of these lingers on. With many unanswered questions, into the levels, of who paid who and who ordered to send for who? As long as those questions are open, you can wonder if the highest command want it die down and go silent. So that they wont be questioned for their role in their demise.

It is hard to forgive, when your not even trying to cover-up or trying to patch the hurt. You don’t even try to forge or change. Seems like all talk and no play. Since, everything you have done is to pay-off your worst enemy. However, not look into the systemic indifference nor the activity that lead to the demise of the people during the elections. That is because that will hurt your own allies and the dark shadow of your presidency.

Therefore, I don’t expect President Kenyatta to really look into the Police Service, the Military or the Government institutions involved, even investigate into the Cambridge Analytica, the tenders of electoral frauds and the rigging of himself. Since, that will delegitimize his role as the President. It will humiliate him and his allies. He can talk about apologizing, but will state offer more condolences to the ones who lost their loved ones during the skirmishes of the police in and after the Presidential elections? Will he offer them a trust-fund, something to secure the families of the ones who lost their lives? Will the kids get support for their education and a safety net for the ones who were betrayed by the state in the run-up the fresh presidential elections?

Because, I hate to say it, its easy to apologize, but takes courage to investigate himself with a independent body and also use the coins you self have gotten to help the lives of the ones you hurt. That would have been mature, that would have been righteous. However, I doubt it would happen. Since this government is all about PR and not about delivering service to the community. Peace.

Opinion: After today’s speech seems like Odinga is the unofficial PM!

We have a big workforce in our country and most of them are youthful and looking for jobs. This is why we in NASA are in agreement with Jubilee in matters of job creation, universal healthcare, poverty and food security”Raila Odinga (01.05.2018).

Today’s speech by the National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga in Nakuru is unequivocal a sign of loyalty to Jubilee. This is happening now close to two months after the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta. What striking today, is his tokens, his resignation of fighting spirit and his direct vision within the government. That meaning, he is practically not an opposition figure, but a stooge inside the Jubilee. Just like the Thirdway Alliance did before the 26th October 2017. Therefore, the is no difference. Only that the words of Odinga matter a bit more than the words of Dr. Ekuru Aukot.

Because today, the National Resistance Movement of Kenya (NRMKe) was dissolved, the whole boycott of government sponsored products and companies, which has been connected to the direct government works. Companies that worked directly during the elections in 2017 and was partly responsible for the rigging and the electoral malpractice, which occurred. So now, its official done. But that has sort-of-died down months ago anyway. It was serious when first unleashed, but a month or two in, the reality wasn’t changing enough. The NASA knew this and their People’s Assemblies has also been dissolved. Before they we’re even built or even became official shadow organizations to the Local Government structures.

Odinga, is really the unofficial Prime Minister, the Republic is a mixed Republic and not a Presidential Republic. However, that is not officially yet, but his actions speaks like it. Especially, with his support of the Big 4 Agenda of Kenyatta. It is like a sign of loyalty to the causes of the Government. That isn’t a sign of an opposition leader. That seal is broken, therefore, Orengo should resign, the ODM shouldn’t be seen as the biggest opposition party, but a direct partner with Jubilee in a coalition. If Odinga supports and works for the agenda of Kenyatta, he is practically part of the Kenyatta paradigm. Even if he says otherwise. He still is, the words and actions shows it.

Odinga is practically the third on the food-chain. The third force in the Jubilee government, if he speaks like this. Odinga should be sworn-in again and get an official title. You can fool people once, maybe twice, but sorry brother, not the third time. Maybe Aukot should start the Fourthway Alliance to get some relevance, because the Third Way right now is Odinga. After Kenyatta and Ruto.

Its time to stop nonsense from this man, the time of opposition is over. Someone else is the real opposition. Someone else is fighting the indifference, the lack of governance and the deteriorating levels of poverty, that so many are feeling day-to-day. Therefore, they were willing to fight and join Odinga during 2017, because his message was different then of Jubilee. Now he sounds and acts like them. Its a betrayal of Canaan, but was already sealed with the handshake in March 2018.

So Kenyatta, do your thing, give the man his office and portifolio. He is your man now. Odinga will not fight you, he is tired and hungry. It is time you feed him and patch his hurt. Let him become PM again, because that is all he wants. Peace.

Tanzania: Massive military activity ahead of tomorrow’s opposition protest!

Today, there has been something out of the ordinary, today the military and police has taken over the streets of Dar Es Saalam, a day ahead of the planned demonstrations on Union Day. This is a collective effort of the government to shut-down dissidents. This is happening all over the republic. This the answer from the government run by President John Pombe Magufuli, who has had issues with anyone questioning him and critiquing him. Over time he has shown his true color and ways!

Yesterday arrests of people behind the demonstrations:

At least seven people have been arrested in Arusha for interrogations in connection with their role in possible political demonstrations across the country on 26 April 2018 (Union Day). The acting Regional Police Commander for Arusha, Mr Yusuph Ilembo, told journalists on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 that the arrests follow investigations conducted by the police force” (Juma, 2018).

Therefore, the precautions of the state is already involved, as the state whose now on the streets with guns, battalions of soldiers and such. To really signal, that demonstrations and protests are not allowed by this government.

As further reported:

The Dar Special Zone police chief, Sweethbert Njwele told an association of bodaboda operators on Wednesday that ‘there will be no demonstrations’” (…) ‘‘Everybody should go about their work as they usually do,’‘ Njwele said” (…) “ The city’s deputy police boss, Yusuph Ilembo, told journalists that the “government will not allow an illegal protest being planned by a few people to destabilise the country”(Mumbere, 2018).

So today, they put up the anti, they pulled the guns. Not only arresting fellow people involved in arranging the protest, but also telling motorcycle taxis and the public in general. To stay away, while ordering the police and army to intervene.

There should be understanding from the government behind this arrests, as the window for free speech, freedom of expression and even dissident voices are oppressed. If a paper write negatively or against the president. It will be suspended, if someone write a song that has certain illegal messages in it, it will be banned from being broadcast on the radio. If an opposition MP says the truth about the President’s behavior. He will be detained and taken hostage by the government, before being served with new jail time. That is the state of affairs under Magufuli. This has been happening over time.

Magufuli went from being praise for his goodness and his acts against corruption. However, he control-freak and lack of integrity, real leadership skills and understanding of his role has President. Is evident in the actions against the ones planning to protest, also against the media, singers and opposition MPs, that has all tasted: “What Would Magufuli do?”. Well the answer is: “He would punish you!”.

It is with warning, the demonstrations and nationwide demonstrations, as the evident soldiers in the street and the Police warning the public. The truth of the dictatorial actions are already there, with how the government has pursuit people in the past year. Therefore, not expect a comfortable result tomorrow.

What we are seeing now, is a man that thinks he understand his role, but he doesn’t, instead of leading, he is ordering. Instead of delegating and working with consensus. Instead, everyone is supposed to sing his tune, dance to his steps and praise the glory of all the United Republic of Tanzania, President Magufuli. Peace.

The Paternalistic Tanzanian State wants to control all Content Online!

There are some leaders who has the need to control the media, to the levels of stupidity, some leaders cannot manage critics or even questions about their actions. That they continue to supress and silence the opposition. They get suspended the broadcasting licence, they get suspending from publishing their newspapers and even fellow politicians who comes with rhetorical questions can end behind bars. That is the truth of Tanzania under President Dr. John Pombe Magufuli.

He has now taken it further, he is now charging fees for people for signing up content online, if you’re a blogger, it will cost 930 United States dollars any given year to do it. They have to be registered and on file to be able to write online. That would have costed me and I have been doing this for years. Clearly, Magufuli doesn’t like free spirits, unless they are all praising his narrow mind.

If the blog even causes “annoyances”, meaning if it insults the presumed intelligence of Magufuli, then the blog page will be suspended and taken down. The blogger/writer will not allowed to be published. This is a way of the state to sanction and control all written word. Also all content online and seek the ones who can afford to think on their own!

That is high price for a service, that if you have the basic packages of blogs, it doesn’t cost, unless you are paying for address and other extra services on the blog itself. Therefore, this is to secure that the ones with lack of funds cannot write online. This is to know exactly who writes and operates within the state and make sure publishers follows government guidelines. Just like they forcefully does to other media.

The Tanzanian Government under Magufuli has been relentless and ruthless to the media. Therefore, this is just the next step; they have banned songs from famous pop-stars already. Therefore, this is just the next move, to alter the media and alter the freedom of oppression. Now, the state can also have oversight and total control of the blogs, just as if they do with radio, TV and Newspapers. This will likely make it harder for people to start writing and question the government. Since, it is a big hurdle to have 930 US Dollars to pay the government to do so.

The free mind, the thinking minds and the ones questioning authorities online, will now you have to be registered there and they have an oversight role over you. The state will decide and grant you the permission to blog, podcast, and whatnot online. The paternal state is there and they are not subtle about it.

If you would be wise, would be to use VPN and register in whatever republic, nation or dominion, where the state cannot control you, but then again. You have to remember to use that trick to not be caught with IP Address and whatnot. That is if you are a free thinker and defiant in the mode of an over-controlling state. Peace.

NASA Senators Joint Statement on removal of Moses Wetangula from the office of Minority Leader (10.04.2018)

The NASA Break-Up is Official Part II: Mudavadi says goodbye too!

Just as anticipated, but the Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi is saying goodbye to Raila Odinga and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). This is happening the day after FORD-K leader Moses Wetang’ula said the same yesterday. They are both sounding like Raila’s Ex-Girlfriends. Instead of looking into their own failures, like career politicians they are blaming Odinga for his pact with Kenyatta.

While Mudavadi is a conning politician, he was riding the popularity and the shining sun in 2017. This while the National Super Alliance (NASA) was relevant and the ideas of political was worth it. Now, that the Canaan project is suspended and dead, the alliance is falling to pieces too. This not only because of the Kenyatta-Odinga pact, which Mudavadi ridiculed today. He should have a little more ice, because Odinga outsmarted the NASA Co-Principals after they betrayed him. That is all known, but still Mudavadi and Wetangula has acted with disrespect, while Odinga hasn’t retaliated.

I struggle to sympathy for someone says this sort of things in Church on a Sunday. Using his platform and space to attack Odinga, now that he isn’t a Co-Principal and saying “goodbye”.

Mudavadi is really following Wetang’ula, but it is not grown. Neither unexpected, since this was in cards. That Mudavadi would retaliate was to be expected, even if he feels sour about the pact. He should look into his own inaction, when Odinga needed it the most, when he was swearing-in on the 30th January 2018. When Mudavadi was busy scheming and finding ways of being opposition without any cost. That I don’t like the pact either by Odinga and Kenyatta, is another thing, but Mudavadi wish he was a part of it. Therefore, the dream of Canaan is super-dead today, even as Jesus has risen from the dead. But, that will not revive the dream of another Kenya right now. Unless, something changes and the elites not continue to eat.

The political class and dynasties has taken control again, left everyone else behind. That is why this is so infuriating. That the Odinga-Kenyatta families continues to control the politics and everyone else follow suit. That Wetang’ula and Mudavadi is now breaking from NASA. Is something that could be anticipated since the Swearing-In. They already showed lack of loyalty. That Odinga found a way out for himself and his party, also could be expected. Even if it would more of a legacy, if he had followed the course. Fought and continue to fight the system, instead of offering it legitimacy.

That Odinga lost Mudavadi and Wetang’ula, isn’t a direct big-loss now, since he has more to do with the Jubilee, than with them. He is more inclined to deliver within the parameters of the dialogue. Not be specific and save the disloyal Co-Principals. That is also understandable, even if the whole project of dialogue and talks is flawed. Because, it is only going skin-deep and not fixing the issues that gave the rigged government all powers.

That is why the opposition of Odinga-Kenyatta pact could now galvanize the public. But not that I believe these Co-Principals has it in them. There is need for fresh blood and not more of the old political scheming elite, whose only ways to eat. Not to deliver policies or direct changes of governance or respecting institutions. Mudavadi belongs in that bracket and always been fishing for someone to hook him up with some power. Now, Odinga has left him behind. Therefore, he can break-way, but not directly see his new path.

Mudavadi has to reinvent himself, he just looks like a fisherman trying to catch a fish, either by nets or by hooks. Certainly, not a good look. He looked for the long-con by ditching the Swearing-In and now has to find the short-con to find a way. That will not be Canaan, but something else. What that will be is most likely a way to fill his plate and have a fancy stake on the state reserves. Peace.

The NASA Break-Up is Official: Wetang’ula saying goodbye!

Today, it is official, the National Super Alliance is officially scrapped and the project is doomed. That has been known for a while, but be exact, the cracks was there. When the likes of Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi and Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. All of them was not to be seen at the Swearing-In of Raila Odinga as the President on the 30th January 2018. Therefore, the words of Wetangula today cannot be seen as sincere.

It is okay to see Wetangula is hurt, he has lost the post within the Senate to Orange Democratic Movement James Orengo. That must hurt his pride, but he himself bailed on the NASA project, when not showing up at Uhuru Park. The reason why Wetangula feels betrayed is that Odinga was able to outsmart him and make a deal with Kenyatta on the 9th March 2018. While leaving all the Co-Principals behind. I don’t blame, I don’t, but he shouldn’t talk about urination and feel to tricked.

Wetangula was part of trio under Odinga, who bailed him when he needed them the most. They didn’t stand behind in or even tried to show support. The ones that did that, ended either with loss of weapons license, deported or even detained while the NASA was seen as illegal group by the Ministry of Interior and CS Fred Matiangi. However, that is totally lost on the former Co-Principal.

Just as the talks of union between the parties of Mudavadi and Wetangula, the third one is busy re-branding his party. Therefore, the trio is trying to find their post-NASA now. They are seeking relevance. The way Wetangula is doing it, is by trying to tarnish Odinga. Yes, Odinga bought himself freedom and sold the cause. However, by the actions of the Co-Principals, they didn’t really believe in either. If they did, they would have reacted when the People’s Assemblies was suspended. When the deal was made and tried to find solutions. Instead, they have been following when it seemed profitable, but today, Wetangula seems determined to walk away from it all.

I don’t blame Wetangula, that he wasn’t part of the deal with Kenyatta, that none of the trio was a part of it. But Odinga didn’t really have these men support. When didn’t show up in need or really showing direct support. As the ODM are the biggest party in the coalition and the ones with the most to loose. Not, that Wetangula see that figure out in the coalition agreement. It seeming all about him and his post. That is why people are throwing shade his way. The humiliation of losing the position in the senate. Instead of wondering himself, if his own inaction shouldn’t cost for him too?

Not that I like that Odinga gave up Canaan for own self interests. But I don’t like hypocrites either. This is that, when Wetangula attacks Odinga and put the blame directly only on him. Without looking into the ones cracking the bottle, showing the true intent and gave way for Odinga to walk on his own. If the Co-Principals had been by him on the Swearing-In, while the bridges was burning and the risks was all time high. The coalition would have made sense, but after that. There was for each one of them to find their own. Since the sincerity of it all. Went down the drain with train with the lack of courage.

So now that the storm of the Swearing-In has gone, there is a months time since the handshake, the reality is that knives are now out. The lack of loyalty to cause is the reason. Many has given it up and the pipe-dream it all was. The Political Dynasties took again control and left the ones believing in good governance behind. Not that is Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka or Wetangula, because they didn’t have heart to stay in the storm. They didn’t leave harbor to find the angry sea to hard to cross.

Certainly, I could have been more apologetic, but in this case, its not worth it. They are trying to find ways to eat, without caring how well-rigged the recent elections was and how many who got hurt by the 26th October 2017 elections, neither how much interference by Cambridge Analytica, Harris Media and other companies hired by the Jubilee. To alter and fix the needed results the President needed. If the opposition leaders had worked on that and tried to find the truth. It would have made sense, but they are scheming to find the new path to a thicker pocket. It isn’t cute, it disgusting.

Now, the Co-Principals are putting the blame-game on Odinga. But first they should look into themeselves. Not because it is about Odinga, but because their own in-actions matters too. Peace.

The Launch of OKM: Trying to make Kalonzo relevant falls flat!

I think Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, the former leader of Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) and part of National Super Alliance (NASA), has today forgotten what happen in February 2018 after the abysmal performance of himself. Why do I say that, because the Ukambi Youth Forum and their leadership renounced him for his neglect and lack of leadership. They renounced him on the 24th February 2018, that they are standing behind Dr. Alfred N. Mutua. After my recogning, that is not Kalonzo.

So, reading that the Ukamabani Declaration and the start of a new Party out of the Kamba, is rare, considering that the Youth in the region isn’t his fans or supporters. They are already displeased with him and his leadership. Kalonzo Musyoka has already lost their faith and hard to restore after years of playing big, but delivering little. We can wonder if he will deliver anything new in One Kenya Movement (OKM).

Its a reason why Mutua didn’t attend today’s forum, where the new re-branded party was declared, as well as his didn’t intend to support his voice in a gathering made trying to revive the legacy of Kalonzo. Which this was, that is why he is trying a new and a fresh. Because he knows that his ways is tarnished, the youth of Ukambani is thwarted by his own in-actions. Even if he renames himself and become someone else, the in-actions and lack of trust.

How will this change with a name-change and Ukambani Declaration between fellow bedfellows? That is why they couldn’t even muster Mutua to the meeting. Surely, other local dignitaries didn’t appear or show attendance, because this is all just a ploy to make him matter again. Even if that is only happening locally. This not making Kalonzo nationally. Kalonzo is just consolidating himself and re-appearing as a local savior with a new logo and slogan, but not making him rising star.

That star dimmed and has been tarnished by recent issues from January and February 2018, where his true political tools was delivered and the framework presented wasn’t stunning, but more meager lack of willingness to stand-up in the midst of fire. He didn’t even try and tried with public PR failures. Therefore, he is trying again and it should be seen through. Not because he might mean well, if not he does whatever he can to salvage his career.

This is a PR Stunt, a Wiper event turned into OKM, just to make sure he staying relevant in the manners of politics, not that it was for all of Ukambani, because even Mutua wasn’t there. When his party wasn’t involved, surely others didn’t come too. Wonder if Kalonzo invited the Ukambani Youth Forum leaders, that has already thrown their weight in favor of Mutua? I doubt that, because that would humiliate Kalonzo and on this day. That couldn’t be the intention.

The intention was to make Kalonzo look like a king, look like a big-man and of importance, there it fell a bit flat. Because it only make him look hungry and starving for relevance. That is not a good look. Peace.
