Opinion: The Tories lost badly in the By-Elections…

The tide is turning and the Conservative Party isn’t able to gain trust or results, which matters in the polls. The two by-elections went to the opposition. In Wakefield the constituency returned back to Labour. While Tiverton and Honiton went to the Liberal-Democrats (Lib-Dems). Tiverton has been a solid constituency for the Tories since 1841. So, things are really shaking.

These two by-elections happened because the former Wakefield MP Imran Ahmad Khan molested a 15 year old kid. While Neil Perish, the former MP for Tiverton and Honiton was caught watching porn twice in the chambers of Parliament. So, it was horrific scandals that brought these by-elections to happen. Not some jokes or silly adventures. No, this was scandals, which was righteous to begin with.

It is now clear that everything is lost for the party. They have lost both seats for now. The By-Elections has ensured the losses and it a double too. Not just one of and a bad one. No, both places went to the opposition. One returned back Labour in Wakefield. While the biggest shocker was in Tiverton and Honiton, as the Tories has held this for decades.

These two loses are bad enough for the party. In addition the Oliver Dowden MP has resigned as the Chairman of the party. Therefore, it is a triple loss and the Tories aren’t growing in strength. The numbers from these elections should be a shocker. The Tories has already lost other by-elections in this term too. So, it is not like these was on off, but a continuation of the other losses.

The Tories continues to have a majority in Parliament. However, this is a signal from the public. They rather vote for Labour or Lib Dems than vote for the Tories. The opposition should unite and strategically field candidates to beat the Tories. That’s how they can win and overcome the majority of the Tories in the up-coming elections alone. They need to unite their forces and strategically plan to overcome the Tories. That’s if they are smart and thinks ahead of the next General Election.

However, it doesn’t matter how self-serving, entitled and arrogant the Tories are right now. They have the majority and are still in power. The Tories have the offices and are in control. Yes, it is a terrible loss and yet more by-elections, which it has lost. Boris Johnson as MP haven’t seen much of winning since his snap election and proroguing parliament.

The public is disregarding his way of running the government. They are enlighten enough to see the damage, the pain and the suffering it is causing. The Brexit has no positive results either, party-gate isn’t doing anyone any favours and neither is the outcome of the banishing asylum-seekers to Rwanda either. That is all just showing what the state is willing to do and certainly the Tories isn’t showing they are worthy of being the custodians of the state itself.

That’s why the Labour and Lib-Dems are winning seats. The public is tired of the austerities and inflations. The public is tired of the negative spiral without any end. While the wealthy and the donors of the Tories are living larger than life. If not they are getting peerage and appointed to the House of Lords.

We are seeing a shift and the perception of superiority of the Tories are dwindling. The downturn is on the horizon and the fall of the Tories in inevitable. That’s why the Labour and Lib-Dems should pick up the call and find their way. Especially consider the Greens too and use all means to takeover in unison. Because, that would be a shocker and a wise decision…

The public don’t trust the Tories and the results of these two by-elections proves that. Now, with the displeasure of the public. The Tories can either change the way they operate or further make things worse for themselves. They are starting to get hit electorally and the public isn’t going behind their messages. Therefore, the tides is turning, but will the party listen?

I don’t think they will… but the only way they can keep power is if the opposition is living on a prayer. If they are trying to change this… the time is now and the recent results should be used to galvanize the parties in opposition. In such a manner that they can actually win and the Tories hold of power. Peace.

United Kingdom: The possible ramifications of the recent election results

Not only has the Tories lost in Wales, Scotland and England. They have lost foothold in plenty of councils and lost enormous amount of councillors. This is also showing the growing sentiment both in Northern Ireland and in Scotland. That the affair of Brexit, the scandals and the poor governing skills of London is catching up with the rest of United Kingdom.

First of the election results in Northern Ireland, if Sinn Fein gets a mandate and if neutral Alliance Party supports it. The the “Ulster Province” could easily become a part of a United Ireland. The Northern Ireland as we know it could be swallowed and join the Irish Republic. Instead of being a sore thumb on the island and a relic of the colonial part of London there. The aims and mandates of Stormont may easily change after this one.

That would jeopardize the Good Friday Agreement and the Northern Ireland Protocol of Brexit. However, the sentiments are there and the Northern Irish would have it easier with trade, co-existence and be a part of the European Union. As Dublin and the Republic is already a Member State in the EU. Therefore, there is lots of benefits, which the United Kingdom is loosing out of and is failing upon it’s quest to sufficiently honour the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement.

Second the results of Scotland can open up another can worms for London. The Scottish could easily with the rising power of the Scottish National Party (SNP) and the Tories falling third. This is shattering and showing what sort of leadership the Scots are aiming for. The Tories failing here is making them less viable and they are not a choice there.

Because of the 2021 election to Holyrod, the SNP has already 46% of the Scottish Parliament and has a huge advantage. They are winning more councils and getting more councillors together with other opposition parties. That can clearly make the SNP more harden stance of ushering in a second Independence Referendum. This shouldn’t shock anyone, as the Scots did vote in the Brexit Referendum for “Remain”. Therefore, the fallout could be happening.

As well, as the Scots and their export industries has already been hit hard by the Brexit. They are seeing it harder possibly to stay united and especially when the Tories in London are such a contrast to the EU. With that in mind, it only makes sense that the Scots wants to try again to leave London, in such a way that they could get closer to Brussels and the Common Market.

On a side-note though, the Welsh has cemented itself as a Labour stronghold. The Tories has nothing there both in the Assembly and even lesser extent in the Local Councils. That is just furthering the outcome of a party that isn’t a for the British isles, but only for England. The Tories is soon only in England and ousted elsewhere. That got to sting, as the Scots, Welsh and only the English is still voting for them. They never had a party organization in Northern Ireland, but they have allies there. However, they are losing too now.

This is the possible ramifications of the elections. The people could ask for this and with the recent votes, the Assemblies in the States makes it possible. The First Ministers of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland would all differ from London. That would strike a bitter tone and a distasteful chant in the way of the Tories. It won’t be smooth sailing for the Downing Street No. 10. His party is trailing and losing ground….

Prime Minister Johnson and his reign has eradicated the party from all around. The arrogance and entitlement is catching up. Now, the possible costs of Brexit might come closer to home too. As Sin Fein and SNP might table motions of referendums… which you know will be a blow to the Her Majesties Government in London. Whitehall and all the greatness of the fallen empire will be displeased. While we cannot foresee an outcome of those elections today. It wouldn’t be shocking, if they chose to leave or flee for independence from London. Both nations has all to gain and possibly also a closer connection to the EU. That something more worthwhile then holding the Union of the United Kingdom afloat these days. Since, it gives little, only more stagnation and lack of progress. The austerities and lack of progression is very evident.

London is calling, but the PM is ditching the calls. He knows what is coming. The aftermath of Brexit and the pandemic is here. He has nowhere to hide and the people are turning on his quickly. Peace.

Opinion: The Tories are the losers of these elections

The Conservative Party losing across the board. There is no victories to see and those who see any. Well, you are an anomaly and not according to the numbers. If the numbers of Wales, Scotland or England are telling. The Tories has lost vastly to the others. Some might say Labour didn’t do a landslide, but they together with the opposition won these elections. They took the councillors in Scotland, Wales and England. While the Unionists are losing in the Northern Ireland too.

If your are thinking this is salvageable numbers or polls for Prime Minister Boris Johnson. No, these sorts of results should send him packing. As this is a sign of the tiredness and the smug brat in Downing Street 10. His now a “walking dead” or a man with no trust in the people.

The Tories have no ground to stand on. Maybe they have the North of England. Where the blue-belt still remains. Nevertheless, they are losing elsewhere and it’s not looking any good. The Scottish National Party, Labour, Liberal Democrats and Greens are doing well. In Northern Ireland Sinn Fein and Alliance Party are on the rise too. So, there is possibly less friends in Belfast over the weekend too.

So, in Edinburgh and Cardiff, you have SNP and Labour who runs things. While in Belfast you could possibly have Sin Fein. There is no where to be found of friendly faces and allies of the Tories. The local councils has lost mandates and the majorities of the blue. The blue wave has vanished and left leaning politicians has gotten into office. That got to sting and hurt the pride of the Tories.

However, we know they will downplay this. The loss is huge and will have an impact. The MPs of the ruling party should be worried. Their seats are possibly up for grabs and the electorate is signalling them. The lack of proper governing, the handling of the pandemic and the costs of Brexit is now obvious. The spin-doctors cannot salvage this… there is no way of spinning this that makes any sort of sense.

London should be calling, but I doubt at this moment that the PM will care. His people are dodging and they know their party is bleeding. There is no good news on the horizon. The costs of Brexit and the fatigue of the scandals doesn’t make things better. The PM is a sleaze and someone who has acted above the rules and the codes of others. He cannot run away from that fact and think petty fines will let him off the hook. When the families, loved-ones and others wasn’t able to say their final goodbye’s during the pandemic. The drinking and the partying has backfired…

The polls and the results shows it. Not only is London turning red. Other parts are joining the Lib-Dems and the Greens. There is no real safe-haven, unless he wants to settle down in Sunderland. While the Tories should be worried. These results are a sign that the Tories cannot trade lies and deceit for much longer.

Boris Johnson ensured this loss. It isn’t even only in England, but it’s everywhere. Not looking decent anywhere really. Northern Ireland is even getting closer to Dublin. That got to hurt. While Edinburgh isn’t looking shiny either. There is no where to go and he cannot hide.

Boris has lost this one and by a landslide. The coalition and strategic voting has by all means countered the Tories. They couldn’t overcome this and it’s a major blow. The Tories have to wonder how much longer they can stick by this leadership and party line. Since, it is going backwards. They are losing and there is little to show for it. The constituents aren’t buying it and the spin isn’t working.

Some might say that the Labour didn’t do that well. Alas, Labour at least won seats, Liberal-Democrats and Greens are the major victors together with the SNP in Scotland. No denying that in that, but the ultimate loser of the Local Councillors Elections are the Tories. Peace.

Opinion: The Scots are ditching the Tories too… [and the SNP for the win)

Scotland – story so far is everyone is gaining save for the Conservatives and independents

Councillors

SNP: +17

Lab: +12

LD: +13

Green: +11

Conservatives: -40

Independents: -13” (Lewis Goodall, 06.05.2022).

Just like in England, the Local Councillor Elections in Scotland is going in favour of the opposition to the Conservative Party. The Tories are losing by a landslide. The Scottish National Party (SNP), Labour Party, Liberal-Democratic Party and the Green Party have all better results all over in Scotland. That got to hurt the Tories, as that was a place of rising Conservative Party ahead of the Brexit and such. Now things are turning and it’s showing the distress.

The Prime Minister and his ruling party should feel shattered by the results in England and Scotland. This is just showing that the Conservative Party isn’t having a stronghold or a strong base in Scotland. When the party can loose to everyone else. This is showing that the tide is turning. While SNP is furthering their mandate and galvanized instead. That should be a lesson for Sir Keir Stramer. Who needs to see the SNP as a possible ally in the up-coming snap-elections.

Since these results aren’t earth shattering, but the SNP is going from strength to strength. The leadership of the SNP should be happy and they should follow this momentum as well. Since, the Tories are failing and weakening. The other allies and parties should gather around to ensure the next steps ahead. These should use the new mandates and solidify it.

The SNP, Labour, Lib-Dems and Greens needs to make itself a coalition and plan ahead to ensure the end of the Tories. That is if they want a more left-leaning parties. It is time for them to show why they are an alternative and how they can serve the constituents.

The Tories should be shaking since they are losing massively. The margins or error is becoming visible. The damage done by the Brexit and by the scandals of Downing Street 10 is now hurting across the board. The governing party is wasting it’s opportunities to make a difference and actually make things better. Instead, it has served the elites and the wealthy, which the citizens has rebuked now.

The SNP should be praised for this and the other parties has delivered too. Labour should look into the Scottish Chapter and what it did to get these results. Because, that could be a healthy look to the rural and how Labour is struggling in the Northern England. They need to listen and be inspired by that. While Lib-Dems and Greens are showing to be a viable alternative too now. Therefore, this election should be seen as inspiring.

We should be proud of the Scots and their votes. They have decided to totally turn on the Tories and it’s deserved. Peace.

United Kingdom: Louise Haigh MP letter to Grant Shapps MP – “Protection for trade unionists standing up to Vladimir Putin’s regime (06.03.2022)

Opinion: Dis-grace Tony Blair gets knighted ….

Motto: Honi soit qui mal y pense (Shame on him who thinks this evil)” (The Royal Household – ‘The Order of the Garter’).

I am sure someone is happy and feels this is righteous. However, someone like me thinks former Prime Minister Tony Blair isn’t the right guy for knighthood. Yes, that is a decision of the sovereign and in this instance, the Queen. Nevertheless, his a war-lord and has blood on his hands. He has responsibility unjustified conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Tony Blair is lucky enough that he hasn’t been produced or gotten a case for war-crimes in the International Criminal Court in the Hague. If he had been a militia leader or a rebel for a smaller rebel or militia group anywhere on the African continent. The political leader and his usage of violent force on civilians could have caused reactions and means of which had landed him in the hands of the ICC. However, since his a Labour leader and coming from the United Kingdom. He has gotten away with the toils, air-raids and misuse of warfare for political gains.

That’s why reading up on the Order of the Garter. It is disgraceful. Just read this….

The Most Nobel Order of the Garter:

The knights of the Garter are chosen personally by the Sovereign to honour those who have held public office, who have contributed in a particular way to national life or who have served the Sovereign personally. The Order is limited to 34 members” (Honours and Appointments Secretariat – ‘THE HONOURS SYSTEM of THE UNITED KINGDOM – Orders and Medals’).

Wales Online reported: “The Queen has knighted former prime minister Tony Blair. The longest-serving Labour PM said it was an “immense honour” to have been made a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, the oldest and most senior British Order of Chivalry, to which appointments are in the Queen’s gift without advice from the Government” (Daniel Smith – ‘Tony Blair knighthood was bestowed directly by the Queen’ 01.01.2021, Wales Online).

I don’t know, if Blair have severed the Queen in a unique way and therefore, could be fitted for the Order. Because, that is the meaning for the Order of the Garter in the first place. If him as a Prime Minister and Head of State has served her with perfection and to her will. That would make sense…

While I feel a man like Tony Blair doesn’t deserve or is righteous for it. His now serving dictators and white-washing their reign with his latest business-enterprise. The former Prime Minister isn’t honourable, but a disgrace. His a man who should answer for his actions in office and not continue to linger in the public.

The Chilcot Report was stating what he did and it’s weird that it has had no consequences for him. There have been no repercussions and it’s damning. That’s why he shouldn’t have gotten this honour and being knighted in the first place.

Tony Blair is a man willing to go to war on wrong intelligence and lie about it. He hasn’t taken any responsibility or accountability for it. Blair have just walked away from it and has been able to shun it all. That’s his privilege and is unfair to all the innocent lives taken by his decisions and his allies. They should pay and be punished, as there was no Weapons of Mass Destructions or Chemical Warfare in the work of Saddam Hussein. Yes, Saddam was a dictator who previously was supported by the West and had gotten support to attack Iran at some point. Therefore, the U.S. and UK knew all of this. Therefore, Blair should have known better, but they suddenly changed the tune and attacked him with the goal of taking him down. While also earning fortunes on the petroleum production of Iraq. That’s why this war is a dirty one and it shouldn’t be dumbed down.

A man who ordered and made it happened shouldn’t be awarded. This man should be on trial like Bosco ‘The Terminator’ Ntaganda or any other war-criminal from the 1990s wars of Yugoslavia. Blair shouldn’t be off the hook, because his a British former Head of State. No, he should answer to same international laws as anyone else. Peace.

Brexit: The HGV driver shortage was warned about years ago…

The driver shortage has resulted in a dependence on agency and particularly foreign drivers that goes beyond what is needed to cope with seasonal variations and is now necessary to sustain normal operation. The dependence on agency staff means that operators in the sector are probably not investing enough in their staff. We think this creates two risks that need to be managed. First, if the UK becomes relatively less attractive as a place for foreign drivers to work, as it may do as the consequences of Brexit play out, the shortage could become much more acute, possibly quite rapidly. Second, the longer-term sustainability of the UK’s road haulage sector could be undermined if there is not a steady stream of people through the sector gaining the skills and experience that they need to become transport managers and operators” (…) “Both the industry and Government have taken steps to address the shortage. None of these are on a scale likely to deliver the number of drivers needed. The road haulage sector, supported by the Government, needs to take further steps to:

meet any shortage and reduce dependence on foreign drivers (about 60,000 drivers);

meet any predicted growth in demand; and

deal with the demographic time-bomb (about 75,000 drivers by 2020)” (Parliament.uk – ‘Skills and workforce planning in the road haulage sector’ 27.07.2016).

Sometimes you wonder if the Tories and the Cabinet Secretaries are so forgetful. You can wonder, if they care about warnings and red signs. The Brexit referendum would clearly target the haulage industry. As it is dependent on European Union citizens with license and ability to drive heavy-goods driver (HGV).

The Tories have offered a three month visa parley to everyone they sent packing after the Brexit was issued. The European Union Haulage Unions have dismissed this offer. They are saying they can easily be used, but sent straight back without any consideration for work. Therefore, the EU HGV drivers will not return to save Christmas in the United Kingdom.

Yes, the government gave this “amnesty” or ability during the weekend. At the same time it has put in regulations that all vehicles and lorries who is going into EU from the UK has to take-off their stickers with GB and change that to UK. That is actually something they have done. Just like changing colour on the passport. It is symbolic changes, but not what industries need in these dire times.

The Tories and the Downing Street needs to focus on. They are not securing the livelihoods of the HGV drivers. Neither has it made efforts or done anything for the foreseeable future. They are instead trying to patch up the hurt without any real reform for the transport sector. Which is needed to cope with the lack of trained personnel, salaries or even long-term prospects to work in the haulage industry.

The UK needs the EU HGV drivers to be able to cope. That is why we are seeing again the possibility of the army to do logistics in the Kingdom. Since, the Tories haven’t secured or made it possible for others to cover needs, which is clearly there. The Tories cannot even come with sound judgement or policies, which will make it feasible for the grandstanding departure of previous drivers to return. These will not return when they are getting pennies on the pound and working in crappy conditions while staying in UK. It is not like Boris Johnson or any of his cadre will humiliate themselves in the same regard. No, they rather spend vacations in Caribbean and hope someone else fixes the problems they created.

The Tories haven’t secure the basics. That’s why the supermarkets lacks produce and commodities, why farmers lack’s personnel to pick and secure their produce to market and finally lack of drivers to deliver the needed things across the Kingdom. The Tories haven’t given incentives or prospects for anyone then themselves.

The lack of drivers isn’t only the fault of Brexit alone. It is a systemic fault of a incompetent government. Who is all about publicity, but not about proper policies. This is why it is happening. The fuel-shortage and the empty shelves in the supermarkets says it all. It is not the fault of the public, but the politicians that promised heaven. However, they haven’t delivered the golden gates, but instead showed a little piece of hell.

Kudos to the Tories for failing in such a manner. They will blame anyone else and even say it’s the public own faults for buying petrol. The Tories will go after the companies itself, than look into own misgivings. Because that’s what they do.

What is extra tragic here is that they knew this could be amplified and gotten worse by the efforts of Brexit. However, the state didn’t act upon or take in-consideration the needs of the haulage industry. Therefore, the Tories who was in power the whole time could have made things possible, but clearly they never did. Peace.

Opinion: Brexit was bound to fail [and the results are now coming in]

The referendum of withdrawal from the European Union (EU) of 2016 settled the score and made it possible for the Conservative Party (Tories) to launch their campaign and gain majority of the Parliament. In such a manner, that they have had two Prime Ministers and had a long hurdle to come to terms with the EU on how to leave.

After long negotiations and plenty of delay. The final “Brexit Day” was enforced on the 31st January 2020. So, with the months that has gone and with the implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement in combination with the talks between London and Brussels. There is no end to this and the effects of the matter is no obvious for everyone to see.

The ones that was Remainer and was on the side to stay in the Union is now vindicated. As it is more “red-tape” and the Brexit Agreement isn’t making things easier. There been conflict over fishing rights with France. Fish and Sea-Food have rotted in port, instead of being exported to the mainland Europe from Scotland. Imports has slowed down, hauliers stopping deliveries to the UK and foreign workers to many fields are lacking. With all of this in mind. It is not a success, but a brutal and self-inflicted suffering.

Brexit was bound fail. The utter total failure was anticipated by plenty and it’s now evident. The Brexiteers should also reflect on it. They should man-up and see the results as they are. The possible use of army to get food delivered across the Kingdom. That should say it all. As the importers are not getting their products in time and neither able to secure the delivery from the exports to Britain.

UK becoming a ‘Third County’ isn’t giving it vast freedoms. Yes, the UK could make trade-deals with Australia and Kenya. However, the major trading partners with the EU and near proximity is harden. Not like there been any good industrial news or set-up of factories. Neither, hasn’t there been news of exceptional growth.

The supply-chains have been like this for one simple reason. The UK is out of the Single-Market and there is added bureaucracy and checks on goods passing through the borders. There is need for more documents and hurdles before passing has hurt the Kingdom. That is easy reasons to see why supermarkets run out of goods. Restaurant-chains are running out of main products and cannot serve customers. Other type of goods are lacking too and if that is with the imports. How dire is the situation for the exporters?

We knew earlier in the year that the exports was hit hard. They we’re not able to send produce, sea-food and others on time. The companies was losing money and their assets was rotting in ports. With this knowledge, the same hardship is now hitting home. Not only that the British Sea-Shells and other sea-food isn’t served in Paris anymore. At least not at the scale or in such a manner, which it was in the past.

The ones pledging for this and had their way. Should stand astute and bravely say: “We were wrong and crippled our economy. We fought for freedom, but instead being left alone. Brexit was supposed to give us new profitable terms, but it hasn’t and we lost. That’s why we have to see, if we can negotiate or find new ways of getting into the Single-Market and the Customs Union. As we are now a third country with little to no say. We have to change this and we are sorry for promising the world and not even giving you chicken at Nando’s”. Peace.

Brexit: “Operation Yellowhammer” is in full effect with the Army drive for the supermarkets

Certainly, some should feel a bit vindicated these days. Especially the Remainers who campaigned for “Project Fear” which was so scrutinized and called a blame-game of a worse scenario. The last few weeks has really shown the consequences of the Brexit. A Brexit that the Conservative and Tories promised to be easy and without any real costs.

However, everyone in their right mind knows that a divorce on this scale would cost. The marriage had to end and the transactions after this would be made more difficult. The Tories haven’t made things smooth or better. The rules and regulations between the United Kingdom and European Union is hectic. Several of companies and hauliers have stopped trading with the UK. This is now costing and showing results in the supermarkets across the Kingdom. That is not shocking, but was inevitable.

The Project Yellowhammer and Worst Case Scenario of August 2019 is now playing out. Where there was talks and projected to have disruptions of food supplies and across the supply chain. That was described there and clearly it is evident now.

The recent news says it all:

The Army has been put on standby to deliver supplies to supermarkets as Britain faces a shortage of 100,000 truck drivers. Around 2,000 personnel who are qualified HGV drivers are believed to be on a five-day notice to help distribute food and essentials including medicine. The Government is set to make a formal plea to the military for help ‘imminently’, with members of the Royal Logistics Corps and other regiments expected to be called upon by the end of September” (Siba Jackson – ‘Army ‘on standby’ to deliver food amid shortage of lorry drivers’ 08.08.2021, Metro.co.uk).

You know Brexit is a lose-lose enterprise when the businesses and the supermarkets needs the army to salvage the supply chain. The Tories and the government have failed the businesses and the consumers i.e. the citizens. They have told stories which wasn’t true.

All of the promises of a easy and simple transition is clearly out of the window. The reality is here now and the UK has to face it. The Tories got to find measures, means and possible way out of it. The soldiers and the ones who conscript to the army shouldn’t drive produce to Tesco or pick up lorries in Dover. That is just a failure if there ever was one.

This is just proving the pointers of the Remainers ahead of the referendum. The Brexiteers who promised so blatantly and wrongly that this would be a neat process. They should all take the mantle and configure this out. Since they are the ones who made it happen and ensure everyone that the basics are in order. Because, when the supermarkets and the convenient stores are running out of goods. You know you are in trouble.

There was plenty of folks who knew the Brexit and the new bureaucratic hurdles would cost, take time and stifle the logistics from Europe to the United Kingdom. The ones who has to import or export is paying the price. There has already been fish rotting in the ports and not getting through the system before they are expired. Therefore, the Brexit has destroyed businesses and ensured many are harder daily life.

The Tories especially, the wing of the Brexiteers has to take accountability. They need to fix this and not just settle with the army on standby. That is a show of weakness and that they totally failed. The Brexit isn’t a success, but a abomination of a government policy. It is a train-wreck and an insult to citizens. They sold a story of gold, but not everything that is shimmering is that. The Brexiteers sold fools-gold and a small majority believed it.

Now, everyone has to pay the price for it and surely nobody wants to hear it. Since it is visible and the HM Government haven’t got the qualified or the ability to figure this one out. The inept and corrupt government will not have the skills or the mindset to fix this. They will only make another circus and hope no-one see the real problems. Peace.

Opinion: Starmer got mountains to climb

Sir Keir Starmer became the leader to steady the ship after Jeremy Corbyn. Instead he has failed and continuing to tarnish the party. There are following the aftermath of the recent United Kingdom By-Election. Where several of strides went south.

Yes, Labour delivered in Wales, but that is thanks to the likes First Minister Mark Drakeford resilient leadership. Also the sinking ship of UKIP, which was the seats that Labour took in this one. Therefore, giving the party majority in Wales and in the Senedd.

However, Labour was only able to get some seats in Scotland because of the tactical voting of Unionists across the devolved nation. They got seats and was able to get some seats there. As they were able to gain, but the Scottish National Party (SNP) was the winner and with the Greens will control Holyrod.

Starmer isn’t the reason for the results here. It is other men and other reasons. Those results are not because he was wearing boxing gloves and tried to drink a pint. No, none of those publicity stunts helped the party a bit. His not showing what Labour could be, but instead its showing what it isn’t.

People said Labour was a weak and mediocre party under Corbyn. However, with him you didn’t have a megaphone and diet-Boris Johnson at the helm. Starmer is acting like a Red Tory and that cannot work. He is way over his league. Neither does he have the team to support him either. As he seemingly does the wrong thing. Instead of being a difference, showing the negligence and the problematic parts of the governing party. He is smiling to their indifference and not caring about the people falling out of favour with the Tories.

That is really amazing that Starmer is failing at this. He has experience and should know this game. Instead he looks like a novice and a nonchalant. Stramer isn’t unifying the party and neither getting support outside of the Labour base. Which is needed at this point. As the troubles ahead will be put on him. Especially, when he cannot swing voters away from the Tories. Something he should have capacity too and show that Labour is a viable party.

People went after Labour and Corbyn with any sort of fashion. However, Starmer isn’t a saving grace either. He is a more feasible candidate for a huger electorate, but his not showing the stamina or the force to be reckoned with. That for a man who has been in the public eye for so long and has a character before becoming the Labour leader. That’s depressing and disappointing.

What is striking that Corbyn lost 18 seats in the local elections in 2016 and it was an outcry. While Starmer in 2021 lost 326 seats in the local elections. That is not the seats who was gained in Senedd or sort of in Holyrod. That is different than in the counties and cities. So, the Labour party have lost the foothold and the levels of trust locally. Which is a big downfall for a general election when that comes.

If he couldn’t become more popular or create a message, which would resonate with the general public. He would have a chance, but at this point is lost at sea. The Labour leader should be stronger and viable. That was something Corbyn was and Starmer used fault-lines to bring him down. Now in the first try… Starmer has failed and facing a rebellion just around his office. Where he is targeting people around him. Instead of showing good leadership skills.

The ones calling him inept is maybe true. Starmer cannot handle pressure and promises made. His instead looking way above his league and personally more attached to the role than actually serving the party. That’s why his going after the ones in his inner-circle who aspire to his role.

While Starmer should focus on the losses, the reasons for that and why the ship is sinking. He should look and study the results. The reasons for the failure and not just spark rumours about other leaders within the party. That is just buying himself time and he should take pint.

Starmer needs to drink a bit for his sorrows. Because things only seems to get worse before they get better. Sturgeon and Drakeford is more respected and have the trust of the voters. Than Starmer can ever beg for. His the supposed leader of the opposition, but he doesn’t have the charisma or the finesse to carry it. If he doesn’t learn the ropes quick. The boat will not only continue to sink, but totally be a lost cause.

Labour party deserves better … Starmer needs to buckle-up and this failure is a stain that will last. Until he has succeeded and proven tat he can sell a political vision. At this point, I don’t see that at this stage. Unless, he revolutionize his presence, messaging and also his stances in Parliament. That got to change and he cannot be a diet-version of a Tory.

Starmer to be a non-sugar edition of the original one will not work.

Sir Keir Starmer got mountains to cross and he seems not to know what’s ahead of him on the horizon. Peace.
