Opinion: 7 Billion reasons not to trust Ruto!

Well, the DPP Noordin Haji dropped ball today and again stated there was Ksh. 21 billion gone missing building a ghost dams. As the DCI George Kinoti have questioned Treasury CS Henry Rotich about the money. However, in the midst of all this drama and alleged crimes. There is one obvious man, whose not under direct threat. That is the Deputy President William Ruto.

Even if Ruto has claimed, that there has only gone missing Ksh. 7 billion shillings, which is bad enough at this rate. As there is no construction and no imminent building site. There is only a paper-trail of evidence and lots of businesses getting tenders and money from the state. But no direct building of a dam.

The DPP have dropped a long list of questionable acts concerning the dams, there been several of companies involved too. In such a manner, it takes a whole village and town to build a dam. You need more companies to build a dam, than the amount of companies you need to develop the Big Four. Because, if the state used the same energy siphoning funds out of ghosts dams. The Kenyan Republic would be highly developed by a landslide.

Alas, that is not the case, the authorities are going in circles, they are pushing strings, but not digging deep. They are not questioning DP Ruto or any of his close allies. Because, that would initially trigger problems for the President too. Therefore, they are instead blaming Rotich for allocating the money and not keeping track-off it. Even if that has been fine in bigger scandals and when the regime been steady eating.

Ruto have no trouble lying, deceiving or even playing stupid. As long as his back-account get pregnant. It will be nursery within months and even escalate further if given the chance. The Ghost Dams scandal is just the freshest and biggest for while. In a month or two, there will be plenty of more ghost, frauds and other graft scandals to catch out attention.

Right now it is dams, which are paid by the state, but not existing. Just like the stadiums, but they didn’t blow the cash on them yet. That was just an empty pledge. This was a supposed building site and a development project. Instead, it is a bonanza of ignorance and plight, dishonesty and travesty, which is traditional in the sense of the guys, running Kenya at the moment.

Ruto thinks he can outsmart or act cool about it all. That he is untouchable, that he is the King. That he is might soldier, the almighty knight who are the shield and the noblest amongst men. However, he is neither, he is just crook with a fancy office. He misuses his power and eats, he tricks and he speculate on the ignorance of others. He configure the political landscape and triggers the needs of others, to gain mileage. That is what he does and he has done it perfectly.

Nevertheless, the gig is up. We know he lies and steals, it is an open-air bazaar at this point. There are no denying that. There are 7 billions reasons not to believe him now. The endless lies and trying to deflect, trying to act righteous is a forgotten game. This tale got to end. We have been here before and its not funny. It is tragic, because this taxpayers, this is donors and this is wherever the state got the revenue from and it was spoilt, taken and stolen. Before ending at supposed project for the benefit of the Republic. Instead it got pocketed and now he culprits are lying through their teeth and trying to blind people while buying time. Its getting old.

As stated, there is 7 billions reasons not to trust Ruto now. He has exposed himself and his acts. As the DCI and DPP have stated otherwise. That must hurt the pride of the Hustler. He better hustle, and do it better, because at the moment. He just sucks. Peace.

Kenyatta’s Battle Cry: Oh dear, we can only trust the dead!

This (corruption) is not a war against individuals or communities, it is a war against a crime that robs us the opportunity to build a nation with shared prosperity for all” (…) “Don’t threaten people at funerals. The dead will not help you. The only place where you can get help is at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)” – Uhuru Kenyatta (05.03.2019).

This should be tiring for a man, an executive and the Head of State to repeat, to send the same MEMO again and again. This is the same President that has promised to fight corruption and graft all his career. His tough talk on Corruption has been a driving part behind his political life. Even so, the campaigns, the drives and the assaults on it has been futile, because as long as he has ruled. The Corrupt behaviour have become worse.

President Uhuru Kenyatta have come all out before. He has promised and sent bullets the way of civil servants, cabinet secretaries and public officials should be careful with their actions. Because if they are taken with some ill deeds done.

While the President speak like that, the Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Under-Secretaries and others can get away with it. They are the loyal cronies and their businesses forging a tender, contract or ghost projects are cool. However, if some local nut-job is doing the same in wild-card district out of bound of Nairobi. Trust, that man will be taken down.

We know why the President and Deputy President William Ruto will be allowed to create a vast corporate empire, such greatness and growing altitude, while the state is more corrupt and growing loans. This is surely why the President has more stakes in this and so has closest patrons too. However, they cannot be touched, just like the cartels, who are controlling their respective industries.

Kenyatta knows this, Kenyans knows this, they are not stupid. They can not buy into this stick anymore. This is the second term. This is not the first time at the rodeo. This is the second time and this has been repetitive. The same story, the same issues and the same venting. The rants, the attack on the judiciary, the EACC and whoever fitting the bill. Sooner or later, someone else crosses the path and get pushed into the fire.

We know that the dead cannot help to fight corruption, but the living at this point isn’t helping either. The living might be breathing, but the state is not even having a heat-beat in this case. They are only rigging the machines to show a pulse, but they are clearly not living it. This is just another PR Stunt. They are not really fighting this corruption thing. Then, there businesses, their stratospheric growth during their tenure would be in question. However, they are untouchable. So, they got to play it out this way. Only sounding fierce while doing it. Peace.

Opinion: President Kenyatta’s corruption fight is like a mirage

If the sword of oppression be permitted to lop off one limb without opposition, reiterated strokes will soon dismember the whole body.” Alexander Hamilton

After the recent weeks and the new fancy scandals, you can pound and wonder, where is there no corruption, Mr. President?

The President, I am asking today is President Uhuru Kenyatta and his administration. The Jubilee has a special feature, they have a own slogan of fighting corruption, while amassing more of them at the same time. They are capturing the headlines nearly daily.

President Kenyatta and Deputy President Ruto are in the wind, they are battling a big monster, which themselves are contributing too. They are trying to play the card of battling it, while they are feeding it. The Cabinet Secretaries are usually implicated, the Principal Secretaries are as well.

The government are doing it all ways possible, by borrowing money for ghost projects like ghost-dams, which has been revealed recently. The state has taken giant loans from Eurobonds twice and still configured ways to siphon the funds away from the government. The Jubilee have eaten directly from the investment funds directed to youth employment. The Jubilee have been able to take away from health care procurement and waste funds there, instead of helping the sickly in dire need.

This is how we can go-on. This is a continued saga that never stops. While the Jubilee have a stark rise in corruption, at the same time, the state has taken out more and more debt. Therefore, the state is not only owning the creditors more money, but they are also wasting the loans. Which the state will pay back with interests after the grace period. This is will backfire on the next cabinets and next state officials, as they will have to clear the debts and find revenue to repay them. If not sell collateral- or assets. This will really be devastating.

Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto will downplay the indirect bribes, graft and corruption done by their officials, they will say it is less or not really allocated. They will act a fool, but at the same time attack the cause and say they are dealing with it. By going after the minor cases or small fry, they are going after the chicken thief or the small businessmen who does it to be able to trade on the market. However, the ones who runs the market and runs the “monopoly” imports are in the pocket of the administration, and will will not be touched.

As long as Cheech and Chong is running this Republic. The growth of the corruption will continue to rise. As their businesses are growing, their empires are getting stronger. The two leaders are grabbing more land, more government tenders and even development projects. That is what the President and Deputy does. While the Jubilee says they are fighting it.

Therefore, as long as these two are running the government. Expect more graft, bribes, kick-backs, siphoned funds and ghost projects. There will ghost everywhere, the cronies will create straw/shell companies who siphon funds… this will occur again and again. The state will give- or loan for non-function development projects/organizations, whose supposed to do something, but in reality it will be a figment of imagination. It will be a make believe like a mirage. It will only be in the vision of the person hinging for water, but when the person arrives to the mirage. There will be no water, but only more hot-sand. This is what the Jubilee does to the public.

The Jubilee is offering a mirage to continue … and hoping no one is feeling the hot-sand, but believing in the mirage. Peace.
