Eurovision 2022: Running speculations on the 6 Nations Jury Results that was cancelled in the last minute

“TVR’s specifications regarding the situation created by the cancellation of the result of the Romanian jury vote by the organizers of Eurovision: Romanian Television has fully committed to participating in Eurovision 2022, paying the participation fee and preparing, together with the WRS team, a project that enjoyed the public’s appreciation. However, we were surprised to find that the result of the Romanian jury’s vote was not taken into the final ranking, with the organizers assigning another set of scores to the competitors in the final, on behalf of our country’s jury. We specify that the jury in Romania decided to grant a maximum score to the representatives of Moldova” (Dan Turturica, 15.05.2022).

What was special during the Eurovision 2022 yesterday was the suddenly all in the power of the Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl. There was several of nations that this happened too. As the hosts and Executive Supervisor said was because of “lack of contact” and “loss of signal with”. While there is now claims from Romania and from the presenter of Azerbaijan Narmin Salmanova.

The latter stated this:

“I supposed to announce 12 points for Ukraine, but for some reasons EBU decided to declare their ‘own’ results for Azerbaijani jury & didn’t make video connection” (Salmanova, 15.05.2022).

“Immediately following the contest on “Sabaha saxlamayaq” Narmin Salmanova who was due to be the Azeri spokesperson said she was surprised to see results that did not align with those she was due to present. Narmin did not announce the results with Martin Österdahl, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest announcing Azerbaijan’s points instead. The Head of the “Sabaha saxlamayaq” added that:

There were no technical problems on our end. An investigation is underway on this issue, the results of which will be presented to the attention of the general public

The six countries whose jury votes were removed from the contest and replaced by the EBU with results based on previous voting patterns are reported to be: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania and San Marino. I have no stakes in the game and am I sympathetic with the Ukrainian people and their cause of sovereignty. That this would be celebrated and become the victor of this years Eurovision was to be anticipated. Whole of Europe would show solidarity and make it happen. This is just making sense for everyone on the continent.

However, the way the Executive Supervisor and the EBU taking over the jury results in these nations are directly interfering and changing the results. They are indirectly telling what the nations are supposed to vote and who is the right one to do so. This is really not right and no broadcaster or jury should accept this.

The viewers of the Eurovision are used to that the neighbour countries votes on each other. That the countries around each other gives each other points. This is a tendency which we all know by now. So, that the Romanian Jury not giving points to Moldova seems weird. That would be like Sweden not giving Norway or Denmark (not part of this year, but you catch my drift). It is just normal and courtesy between the nations in question.

The Executive Supervisor and EBU has to address this, if they want to be serious and be fair. This is unfair treatment and should be held with contempt. The juries are already turning the results on way or the other. It is steering the competition as we know it, which we know it does. Alas, this is a huge blow if they did violate these broadcasters and changed their results. Then the EBU and the Executive Supervisor undemocratically decided the fate of the contest in favour of certain artists/nations. That is not a good look and could be seen as rigging, which is electioneering no one want to see in such a friendly and uniting competition as the Eurovision Song Contest. Peace.

Opinion: Young Thug will linger in jail – These RICO charges aren’t for the faint-hearted…

There been talks of the Hip Hop Police and that the authorities are working directly to look up any minority or any sort of African-American who gains certain popularity and whatnot. That has been the talk of the town. The authorities are now trying to make an example of the gang-affiliated musicians, rappers or MCs, which are there.

One of them is Jeffrey Williams aka Slime aka Young Thug. Has certainly lived the life-style he has written about and the stories he has to into his music. That can be said with certainty now. The DA of Fulton County hopefully has more than Instagram pictures and Song Lyrics. Though these are social media messaging and an artists expression. However, when you see that in consideration to the criminal activity and part of a street gang. There will certainly be more and the DA should be bulletproof in the sense of co-ordination of evidence that collaborate with the charges and the indictment.

I am just dropping a few pieces of the 88 pages indictment of the YSL Street Gang, but just reading these alone. It is compelling to see and say that Young Thug will not record or be free in a very long time.

Here is what it says, which I see as vital for the indictment and charges:

“YSL is a criminal street gang that started in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of

Atlanta, Georgia. YSL claims affiliation with the national Bloods gang. YSL’s founders were Jeffery Williams AKA “Young Thug,” AKA “Slime,” Walter Murphy AKA “DK,” and Trontavious Stephens AKA “Tick,” AKA “Slug.” Jeffery Williams, an Atlanta-based hip-hop artist, made YSL a well-known name by referring to it in his songs and on social media” (Fulton County – ‘Indictment Clerk No. 225C/82273’ 09.05.2022).

“As associates of the enterprise Young Slime Life (hereinafter “YSL”), the defendants conspired to associate together and with others for the common purposes of illegally obtaining money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity and conducting and participating in the enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity. In furtherance of the conspiracy, the defendants engaged in the activities enumerated herein” (Fulton County – ‘Indictment Clerk No. 225C/82273’ 09.05.2022).

“Defendant JEFFERY WILLIAMS, an associate of YSL, did appear in an video released on social media 16 days after the murder of Donovan Thomas Jr., stating “so a nigga lie to they momma, lie to they kids, lie to they brothers and sisters then get right into the courtroom and tell the God’s honest truth, don’t get it, y’all niggas need to get fucking killed bro, from me and YSL,” an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy” (Fulton County – ‘Indictment Clerk No. 225C/82273’ 09.05.2022).

This here will be detrimental to the career of Young Thug. However, there are plenty of victims of his gang and their activity. So, there will be people who has lost their family members and been victimized by the street gang. Therefore, Young Thug will most likely be long behind bars. He and the others will face long stints too. Especially, if the DA has the evidence and can connect it all.

That’s why the rapper and musician, Young Thug should be worried and so should anyone who wants to hear new music from him. This case and pending trial can finalize that.

The YSL RICO case could be end of his career, just like YSL has ended other peoples lives and now it comes back to haunt him. That’s what the justice system does to you and this sort of violence, racketeering and murders has to be held to account. Young Thug made it seem like he could get away with it all.

But now… the authorities got him and the Thug Life is costly for everyone. Not only the artist himself, but everyone surrounding him. It is especially tragic that he didn’t just talk about it over instrumentals, but lived it too.

Opinion: Russia waged the war [but warns everyone about the possible affects it has]

It is like Kremlin, Duma and the Russian Federation is living in such a vacuum and closed quarters of the world. That the ones working with diplomatic measures or incentives forgets that the rest of world can think for themselves as well. Because, the Russian-Belorussian invasion of Ukraine has effects all across the globe and in the near proximity of the Russian borders.

That is all natural that the West and European Union reacts when the Russian Federation violates, destroys and occupies Ukrainian territory. The Russians are directly invading and attacking a sovereign nation. This is why the alliances and the governing bodies of Europe is changing. They will not naively believe in goodwill from a nation who brought war to it’s borders.

The war of Ukraine is close to the Baltic nations, its close to Moldova, Bulgaria and Poland. Heck, the Ukrainian war is even involving the waters of Turkey. Therefore, this war is European and the European neighbours are acting accordingly.

The Russians are warning everyone about the sanctions. They are screaming out loud and mocking them. The Russian government are coming with counter-measures against the “unfriendly” countries. The latest was to banish diplomatic people “non-grata” in Moscow. Just like the European nations has done to the diplomatic corps across the continent.

Alas, here is the issue. We know early on in the war. That President Vladimir Putin warned Finland and Sweden of joining the defence alliance of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Just like it warned and wanted Kyiv not to do the same. These are all nations with borders to the Russian Federation.

Ukraine has as well pushed for closer relations with the European Union (EU) and showing it’s Eurocentric means at heart. As they are distancing themselves from the ones who is waging war, looting, destroying and massacring their citizens. The Ukrainian has all the rights to pick their alliances and create diplomatic ties as it see fit. However, we know Kremlin and Moscow thinks otherwise.

We also know that Moldova and Georgia have both applied for membership in the EU after the war started. As that is happening, the Russians are occupies vast amount of territories in both of these nations. Which is implicating them both and their sovereignty as is. Therefore, they seek stronger ties to Brussels and Europe to help them. Because, they see what the Russians do and there is no hope for redeeming factors in the regime in Moscow.

That’s why Russia is now warning Stockholm and Helsinki. They are doing this by the voices of Kremlin. Using RIA Novosti and Komsomolskaja Pravda is now busy printing pieces of damaging sort. Where they are further warning and speaking of the implications of joining NATO. However, the damage was already done when the Russians decided to wage war in Ukraine.

What did they expect everyone else to turn a blind eye and look the other way? Hoping that the Reds of Moscow wouldn’t come their way. Alas, the Swedish and Finish decides this, because they fear and alarmed by what the Russians are currently doing. The way of the warfare and how it is handled. Isn’t giving much credit or goodwill for a respectful or an honest neighbour in the East. No, Russians has made this bed and they got to sleep in it.

It seems like the Russians expected the world not to see the hurt and damage. They expected that an attack in it’s backyard wouldn’t have any consequences. However, it does and sovereign nations change their ways. When they see a similar nation and a bordering one being invaded. They don’t want to be violated or destroyed by Russia either. These just wants alliances and defence mechanisms that can possibly counter the Russian army. Because, there is no trust that Russians wouldn’t use their armies and violate them in the future.

When the Russians can try to invade and annex the whole Ukraine. What stops them from going further? Heck, it wasn’t long ago Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev wrote in March “About Poland” and had romantic ideas about Warsaw. While glossing over how the Soviet and Russians terrorized and killed the Poles. That just shows what sort of mediocrity of propaganda the Russian are producing of late. When he can direct and pin Poland. Where else can the Russians plan to go next?

Because, the Russians thought this would be a quick blitzkrieg and takeover Kyiv within 48 hour or 3 days. However, we are at 50 something days and they are now trying to tear apart the Donbas regions, which they have already “liberated” and promised “freedom” as the “Special Operation” was announced by the mighty President a while ago.

With that all in mind. The Russians cannot think warning the Swedish and Finnish now. They waged war and they are reacting within reason. It is only reasonable for them to do something. We the world can easily assess that the Kremlin, Duma and Moscow isn’t to be trusted. They can easily speak of military training exercises on the borders for months and with a blink of an eye decide to invade a sovereign nation. When the Russians could do that to Ukraine. They can do that to everyone else too and the neighbours should find ways of defending themselves.

So, the Russians cannot use NATO as an excuse either or the EU membership of former USSR republics. That ship is sinking like the Naval Ship “Moscow” did the other day. If not it is burning on the open sea and struggling with the damages made. The Russians should consider for a moment that their actions creates a reaction. However, the imperial powers thinks they can act and it will not have any sort of reaction. This is not new, by Russians or Americans who cause havoc and hurt. While thinking it doesn’t carry any costs or ramifications. Nevertheless, it does and the neighbours does what they see fit.

In Europe and the neighbours of Russia should consider their stances and what sort of alliances they want to have. For their own safety and the values of their states. Some might consider close ties to Moscow and others wants to distance themselves. That is all natural and how things evolves. Now, the Russians have to live with it and warning others isn’t the way to go.

Kremlin can warn everyone… but it doesn’t help their cause. Only weakens it, because they cannot bully everyone into submission. Everyone isn’t Putin’s bitch like Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko. Minsk will answer every call and memo from Russia. That’s for one simple reason, the Belorussian President wouldn’t stay in power without help from Moscow. He knows that and the world does too. It is sad, but someone has to be the side-piece of an imperial power. It just happens to be Lukashenko and we know Putin wants more puppets in office.

That’s why the Russians are bitter and coming with warnings. Their power and intimidations aren’t helping. The Kremlin might think this is a power-play, but it is not. It is a pity-party and a sausage-fest. This is a kitty funeral and an honourable priest will not make a farewell-ceremony for that. However, Putin is asking for that… and think the world will cry out loud for his dead cat. Peace.

Georgia: Is South Ossetia the next target of Russia after Ukraine?

“I believe that unification with Russia is our strategic goal. Our way, the aspiration of the people. And along this path we will move. We will take the appropriate legal steps in the near future. The Republic of South Ossetia will be part of its historical homeland – Russia” (…) “The Russian world today defends the interests of those who are committed to it, those who oppose Nazism, respect universal human values and fundamental rights and norms accepted by the entire international community” – President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov (30.03.2022).

We know that President Vladimir Putin has supported the “self-proclaimed” Republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, which is territories belonging to the Republic of Georgia. Which are territories that have been Russian friendly after the invasion of Georgia in 2008.

Just like the Russian acted in Donetsk and Luhansk in the Donbass region creating “People’s Republic’s” like the DNR and LNR in Ukraine. The same can be said about South Ossetia. We know the leaders of DNR and LNR signed a friendship agreement right ahead of the Ukrainian Invasion.

What the Self-Proclaimed President of South Ossetia does today is preparing the annexation of the Georgian territory and make it legally possible to become a part of the Russian Federation. That is clearly taking a huge part of the sovereign republic of Georgia. This is interfering fit the sovereign and it’s integrity. Which is nothing new from Kremlin or President Putin.

He will continue to do this and we can await parts of the Russian army to intervene here too. Come with support of the Russian friendly militias and people who defend this “People’s Republic”. When these sorts of actions happens…. We should be worried about other territories and unrecognized “People’s Republic’s” since the same could happen there.

Just like DNR, LNR… like the previously mentioned Abkhazia, but not to forget Moldovan region Transnistria where the Russian even has a permanent base. That could easily become a target there as well. The Russian has created these zones to undermine and to influence the former USSR Republics. Just in a manner that gives them a legality and reason to later annex it like Crimean peninsula.

President Salomé Zourabichvili should be worried as the Republic haven’t tried to appease Putin of late. He has instead tried to be closer to Ukraine and European Union (EU). The NATO membership has been at a stand-still since 2008 invasion of Russia. We know that Georgia has fast-tracked it’s membership with the EU. Therefore, we know the leadership of Tbilisi is becoming more Eurocentric, which is in stark contrast to the self-proclaimed and Russian supported “People’s Republic”.

So, it seems like Bibilov is trying to outsmart Zourabichvili. This is a way of Tskhinvali to get away from Tbilisi. Bibilov is following the leaders of DNR and LNR here. It is only about 2 months since these was proclaiming independence and signing agreements with Kremlin. The same fate can await South Ossetia and we don’t know if others planning to follow example.

However, this is just proving that the integrity and the territories in close to the Russian Federation can easily become tense. Where the Russians can use their power and might to intimidate the smaller former USSR republics. Here the Russians has invaded and created regions, which is only recognized by Russia.

That’s why… we know the game-plan and now Bibilov is showing loyalty to Putin. While his with a hope of a personal gain betraying Georgia. Peace.

Opinion: Some says War has returned to Europe [and I say it was exported but now came home to roost]

It been a long time since the Yugoslavian war in the 1990s. That was the last big-war and conflict, which the world powers came into play and fought on separate sides. As all the Slavic people of region fought for their statehood and such. Which in the end has ended up on in several of independent nations, but has since then been at peace.

Alas, there haven’t been a moment where the European powers haven’t been involved or participated elsewhere since then. They have either done that by proxy, by exporting military weapons or equipment or themselves participated in North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) operations or invasion. If not, it has directly invaded or made itself impose it’s power onto a nation. Therefore, it has never ceased to use weapons and war. The only difference, it has happen far away and for other means.

The United States has supported wars, been the main aggressor or the initiator in several of conflicts. While United Kingdom has participated directly too. Other European nations has been parts of coalition of a willing. Therefore, we know they are willing wage war and has done so too. This been done over years and the conflict ever ceasing. Even after they are leaving. The parties are still unresolved and the conflicts persist.

So, when I hear again and again that the war returned to Europe. I am saying “yes it did, but it was already here”. What I mean by that… the Europeans has exported the wars. They have supported proxies, which has fought their wars. Europeans has sent brigades, operative armies elsewhere and done warfare. This being as part of United Nations Peacekeeping Missions or directly work for own interests in former colonies.

That’s why the European nations haven’t been all peaceful. They have used arms, weapons and military equipment all across the globe. They have traded and earned profits on wars. This has been done and these wars has only been bylines or parts of bulletins in the tabloids. While bloodshed, massacres and whatnot happens in these conflicts. That is just what’s going on. If it is in Yemen, Somalia, Democratic Republic of Congo or in the Central African Republic. These things can be prolonged and the conflict is a very valuable commodity. A commodity and a business, which is a never ending ride of profits, both in weaponry and resources, which becomes easily accessible when you have the right leader serving any given territory. Therefore, these sorts of moves has happened and the West has gladly joined the ride.

This is why the powers of the West, United States and others has supported the end of certain leaders. In such a fashion, that it get rid of a popular leader who intends to nationalize or reform the mineral extraction industries and instead get a puppet regime there. While using armies and support to keep it up. A war for the interests of the West and not for the nation at hand. Just like it accepted to use illegal means to overthrow Morales in Bolivia. That sort of play fitted the U.S. and Washington D.C. and it could have been much more bloody. However, that’s how it does it and we cannot deny this fact in 2022.

Yes, Russia’s imperialism in Ukraine is wrong. Nevertheless, that doesn’t justify the imperialism of United States or any of it’s NATO allies either. What the USA did in Iraq or Afghanistan should be addressed. Just like whatever war-crimes that all parties have possibly done in Syria. The same can be said about the parties involved Yemen or Ethiopia for that matter. All war-crimes should be punishable and be investigated by the same International Court. Not just go after Russia now. The other nations and the leadership of that time should be held accountable. That is only fair.

So, when saying all this. African Union has worked for a few years now to “silence the guns” which is an ideal programme. No matter how faulty and weak the AU is an organization. How the AU as an entity tends to favour tyrants and dictators, instead of the will of the people. Still, the ideals of that programme is something the European Union and United States should look into themselves. As it is a set of ethics, which could inspire them to think about the consequences of it’s actions elsewhere.

Right now it is justified to enlarge military budgets, expand spending on upgrading the military equipment and vehicles, ensure you have a decent air-force and whatnot. When the war-drums are happening so close to your own shores. It only makes sense, as the borders and the length of distance to Ukraine set the parameter of action of own self-defence. However, Europe has participated and been acting in accordance with war. Just not on their shores or in the near borders of own capitals. It hasn’t gotten close to comfort. Neither has the consequences of it or the ramifications of a war. No, that has been held at a distance…

Now, the conflicts of Europe is coming home. The weapons exports is happening to far-away hinterland or to any of their allies world-wide. Therefore, this war is more consuming to the West. Since, it involves them all and it’s a worry of escalation. Also, if Russia want to further it’s borders and annex even more countries after Ukraine. That is unknown and uncharted territory of Europe in this day and age. They have accepted and participated in conflicts outside of their home-bound regions. But now it’s happening there and it makes things more edgy.

That’s why people are speaking of the wars are coming home. I will say they were always here. That’s why we was busy making advanced weapons, exporting ammunition and selling artillery across the world. While also either being part or being parties in conflicts across the world after the 1990s Yugoslavian war.

There is time to recognize this and acknowledge this. Because, if we don’t, we are hypocrites and people who don’t reflect on our own actions. My own home country has exported weapons and participated in NATO missions across the world, which has inflicted insufferable damage and destruction. This is why we cannot act like we didn’t wage war or had no say in it. Our nations and participation had consequences, which is felt today in Libya and Afghanistan. These sorts of acts shouldn’t be forgotten. It is the act of cruelty to forget that… and we can’t if we are honest.

The wars wasn’t in Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome or in Warsaw, but we never know our future. Yesterday it was in Kabul and Baghdad. Now it is hitting Kyiv and we should stand in solidarity with Ukraine. However, at the same time, we need to reflect on the policies and actions, which lead the West and U.S. into similar conflicts anywhere else. Peace.

Opinion: To drink a Coke or not to drink a Coke, that is the question…

Today the reactions to the new voter laws in the State of Georgia is happening. Rightfully so. It is a need to address and take account of the awful and disenfranchising electoral laws the Republican Party have signed into law. The act of Governor Brian Kemp and his fellow Republican Representatives. They have all deliberately done this and with intent of making it harder for fellow citizens to cast their ballot and vote. That is for the simple reason. The less voters means more likely a Republican majority. Therefore, it is winning strategy to make it harder for the general public to vote.

Now… what is tragic about the politics in America at the moment. Is that instead of looking at the initial issue. The progressive and the ones who wants voters to show up is going up against the businesses in Atlanta, Georgia. The ones who has a base there and the ones who funnel money through the political system. A system that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party is fine with in the days of sunshine, but speaks ill of in the days of rain.

This week has been a storm and been heavy rain. The raindrops are clearly hitting hard and not so easily to get to the storm-drain. Nevertheless, the ideals should be to revise the system. Get new legislation to counter this one or repeal the acts that disenfranchise voters in Georgia. That should be the focus. The focus should be on the ideals and integrity of the ballot, which John Lewis stood for and fought for all his life.

Not battle the beverages industry and one of its giants Coca-Cola Company. Yes, the giant international beverage company has its sins to answer for. They have their ills and its profit motive at any given time. However, it isn’t the bottles of Coke fault for the voters law. Neither is it in the interest of a bottling and beverages company to stop people from voting. Their best interests is to get people hooked on their drink and purchase more of bottles next time they pass by a Wall-Mart.

That is why politics in the United States have gone bonkers. Yes, the politicians are screwed by lobbyist and secretive PAC-Money, which funds their massive and expensive campaigns. Still, in the middle of that. That doesn’t mean they are responsible for the ills and evil, which occurs now and then. Right now that’s all on Governor Kemp and his Republican comrades.

A bottle of Coke will not solve this. Neither will a bottle of Pepsi. Heck, no sort of drink will juice up the veins of democracy. Not the Speakeasies or the roaring 1920s will make fudge about it either. Coca-Cola isn’t the company to solve or in the dominion to do so. Yes, they can stop giving money to the Republican Party, but that they will only cease for a hot-minute and return when they need favourable legislation. As long as the dark-money and PAC money can fund politicians. The companies will return and secure results on their “investments”.

The activists shouldn’t go for a boycott and stop drinking Coke. That is a short-term and a losing strategy. Who will win? The one with billions in the bank and can sustain a hit or the few consumers with a moral obligation? I think the guy with the biggest bank and there are so many who don’t care. Those folks will drink Coke regardless.

That is why, the ones who wants change and make a difference. Call the legislators. Email them like crazy. Make their team and staff go nuts over all the feedback. Make the legislators of State of Georgia packed with messages, faxes or whatever they get memo home. That what they was wrong and they need to revise it.

The GOP and the Governor will not care if you stop drinking Coke. They will not give a damn. You are the ones who losing your beverage. It is not difference then when Republican activists burns their Nike’s or destroyed their coffee-maker. In some ways … its the same thing and neither was winning.

The activists and the ones calling for this. Better think ahead. The Democrats who are fearing for the ballots and voters of Georgia. Better do “Good Trouble”. What they are doing is symbolic hogwash. This is changing their Tinder Profile and thinking their soulmate will love that you were drinking Pepsi instead of Coke. Sorry brother, but that’s not it and that wasn’t the reason why the person swiped your way.

Let’s be clear. You can stop drinking coke, but that will not save democracy. You can boycott Coke, but that not resolve the issues either. What you can do and what you should do. Is to show civil disobedience and call for changes in legislation. Both in Georgia and in the Federal Law. So, that dark-money cannot run rampant behind closed chambers and decide what lawmakers do. Secondly, you can pressure state legislatures to actually vote for laws that makes it easier to vote and not what they did this week. That is what you should do. Not stop sipping Coke.

That means visible protests in the streets. Sponsoring billboards, sending letters, emails and other texts to legislators and by all means be vocal about the cause. Nevertheless, the idea of stopping to drink a beverage. Well… that is futile and not doing anyone any damage. Coke will not be hurt and their bottom-line will not even feel the sting.

It is a time for everything, but boycotting Coke over voting legislation is redundant and a foolish enterprise. Especially, when there are so many other avenues where the ones in power would fear you and would feel your presence. They are not fearing what your drinking in your living-room and at your kitchen. State of Georgia: Governor Kemp disfranchise own citizens with new election law

Republican Governor Brian Kemp. The State of Georgia Governor since 2018. He was the Secretary of State before running for Governor for the Republican Party. In the role as Secretary of State. He was indirectly co-ordinating the polls and the elections of his own candidacy. That is the sort of man Kemp is.

Therefore, after losing both Senate seats in the recent elections in January 2021. It was inevitable for the Republican Party in Georgia to change the rules ahead of the next election. The Republicans have no senator from Georgia. The State of Georgia have turned more and more blue. That has hurt the pride of the GOP and they need to do something.

Am I surprised by this? No, was this shocking? Hell no. The Republican Party and their allies are gerrymandering like insane if they are allowed. The GOP will do whatever they can to bar people from voting. Especially if these parts of the community is most likely voting for other parties. The GOP will do what they can to make it harder to vote or make it such a hassle. If the GOP get lower voter-turn-out. That is a win for them and they will most likely get their representative in.

That’s why its not insane that its happens. Especially, when the Democratic Party was able to flip Georgia and get both Senators. What is striking is that they are doing it in Georgia. Where the late Representative John Lewis came from and fought all his life for a revised Voting Rights Act.. In a manner, which would strengthen the rights and ease the boundaries for the voters to actually vote. The opposite of what Kemp has done lately.

If Kemp and other guys would honour the legacy of John Lewis. They would have made it easier to vote and also create more civic education on the value of doing so. Instead, they are pissing on his legacy and shitting on his grave. They are doing the opposite of what Lewis fought for. Just because the likes of Stacey Abrahams is able to get the public behind her and get new voters in.

We know that is the reason for this. State of Georgia is a place where the Republican’s doesn’t value the vote. Heck, they don’t want the vote or voters. They rather see less people show-up and they are automatically getting their folks elected. Because, the majority will struggle to vote. Standing in lines for hours and not easing restrictions for the ballots. If these Republicans believed in the ballot and voting in general. They would have opened the gates, but instead they are sealing of the doors and hoping nobody is looking.

What is also is seeing how easily someone of the stature of Lewis can be forgotten this quickly. How the State Representatives rather safe-guard their own offices, then actually believing in what Lewis fought for. That shows so perfectly well by all the new procedures for the next election. Which is the incumbents and the ability for the Republicans to still get a majority. This is why they did this.

The GOP in Georgia didn’t do this because they cares for democracy or everyone’s right to participate in elections. No, they are doing this to make it harder to vote. It is easier to buy a gun or do other things than voting in the state. That is because, one thing is a priority and the other is an issue, which the ones in power don’t want you to have. If they didn’t fear the ballot and the power of it. They wouldn’t have made it so hard to cast it.

Brian Kemp and his likes fear the public. Kemp and his allies are worried about their sentiment and their will. If he was loved by them and had their support. He wouldn’t have signed these things into law. However, he has done so to hopefully save his own office. That is the mere reality here. Because, the Governor cannot run the election like he did in 2018.

What is the saddest thing. It is happening in the state of the great late Representative Lewis who stood for the stark opposite and went into “good trouble” fighting for it. However, that fight has to continue, because the ones in power now. Clearly doesn’t value the integrity or the trust of the public in regards to Democracy. Because, if they cared that… they wouldn’t have done this and made this happen. Peace.

State of Georgia: The Senate seats goes to the Democrats

The Special Elections in 2021 have gone to the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party candidates Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. These two beat the Republican candidates. What is striking about these two candidates. They have not only won the seats, but they have flipped the Senate. That is a big deal so in 2021 the Biden administration have the House, Senate and the Presidency. Therefore, the Republican Party cannot block nominations or laws through before the midterms at earliest.

What I enjoy about this is that these two are connected to the late John Lewis. Warnock was the pastor of Lewis and Ossoff was a previous intern of the late Georgian Congressman. That is really great to see the folks around the civil rights hero is still roaming in the August house of Washington D.C.

In previous elections the voter suppression and rigging has ensured the Republican majority in Georgia. Brian Kemp for instance is the governor of Georgia was running his own government and securing his own election as the Secretary of State. Therefore, the state has been before a hot-seat for electoral nonsense. However, in this special election it has been all genuine and the same happened in November 2020 run-off as well. Since there is no proof and you don’t have a Kemp who is siding with himself.

Stacey Abrahams, the person who was tricked and rigged out of the election in 2018. Has now shown her leadership has values. She has the capacity to get new voters and bring attention to the Democratic Party cause in Georgia. Stacey is the other hero in Georgia. Abrahams should get credit for the turn of events. Where there has been a massive shift and she has been able to gain more voters. Getting the people mobilized to vote in districts and such. That wouldn’t have happen at the same level if she didn’t do what she did. Therefore, Abrahams needs her credit here.

Today is a good day, but now the work starting. Now the democrats can control all chambers and rehash the state of America. They can if they want to change the laws and make it better. After 4 years of Trumpism and Corporate Socialism. The Democrats can actually make a difference and be there for the citizens. They can also have a substantial and enforce proper foreign policies. Not only do things because donors or American businesses will profit for it. Therefore, the State of Georgia election can have ripple effect. That is if they use it properly.

Hopefully, these Senators have been inspired by John Lewis and will continue his work. Also continue on the positive progression that they have had during the campaigns. These folks also won because Trump himself wasted an opportunity and have targeted the state in a selfish angle. An angle where he wanted to overturn certified Presidential Election of 2020. So, that he could win and also get Republican’s not to trust the process. Therefore, they have gone against themselves, which is really unique and that did backfire.

State of Georgia have delivered. Hopefully these two Senators can make a vast difference. They can challenge and represent the goodness of the New South. They can resist the corporate democrats and be progressive. That is what we can hope for. That’s what the likes of me hopes for.

Georgia should be proud. They have done something amazing and nobody can take that away from them. Acknowledge the ones turning a state blue from red. That is something great. Peace.

State of Georgia: Kemp resigns, but after claiming victory!

Not strange that State Secretary and responsible for the election won the Governor race in the State of Georgia. The wolf shouldn’t look over the hen-house. There are already reports that Brian Kemp barred and voter suppressed 700,000 voters, plus of all the technical difficulties, the lack of ballots and all the brazen disregard for the voters in vital districts in the state. This just shows what sort of man Kemp is.

That Stacey Abrams had not a chance, she was a pawn in the game of Kemp. That is why he resigned today. While Abrams doesn’t accept to loose this one. That is not strange, as the wolf has used all tricks to win. If he feels this is how he needs to win, he really is a despicable man, who doesn’t even respect the people he supposed to govern.

He will be hated thief in power. A man who had to cheat, trick and run the elections to be able to be a viable candidate. Kemp couldn’t even win a fair fight, he couldn’t even be a gentleman and let someone else run this election. But he knew that if he didn’t use his office and his position. He would never become Governor of Georgia.

This is Banana Republic class, as he resigns today with a letter to Nathan Deal. This was to establish to the public, that he was switching offices. Because he is blatantly a special candidate, because this what is known by the Secretary of State in Georgia:

“The Office of the Secretary of State coordinates and monitors all election activity: this includes voter registration; municipal, state, county, and federal elections; campaign finance disclosure for state and federal candidates and political action committees; and certification of election results. The Georgia State Capitol office also is responsible for certifying the qualification of candidates and the preparation of ballots and election forms and materials. As a result of legislation passed by the Georgia General Assembly in 2001, the office is responsible for removing the names of deceased electors from the voter registration lists statewide. The secretary chairs the State Election Board, which investigates election fraud and enforces state election law. As part of an effort to modernize state election procedures, the Twenty-first Century Voting Commission and the secretary of state’s office worked to establish a statewide uniform election system, which was implemented for the first time in November 2002” (Ballotpedia – ‘Georgia Secretary of State’).

Here is my problem with Kemp, he has problematic statements and acts during the campaign as a candidate. But to top that off, he decided who was on the voter lists and who was accepted as candidates, while he was running. He monitored the whole election activity, while he was a candidate himself, he ensured to see all finance disclosures and also the one who was in-charge of certifying election results. Therefore, he could ensure and did so, with purging election lists, he secured lacking material and lacking machines to work in vital districts in the State.

That is why, he should have resigned long before running as candidate. It should be illegal for a whole a wolf to run the hen-house. He will take the hens when nobody is watching and that is what Kemp has done. It is hard to believe that these results are eligible or legit. As Kemp has done his part behind the scenes and on stage. He has taken the gubernatorial seat, this he has done with unfair ways.

No one should ever run the elections and be a candidate at the same time. The same office that is running elections, should not proclaim someone from their winning. Not if it is free and fair elections. If they want to be a Banana Republic. Than, continue with this charade, but everyone should know that this is nonsense.

Kemp is to late to resign today. He should have done it a long time ago. Before being allowed to run as a candidate. He shouldn’t have run the shop and be the one running at the same time. Sorry, that is not how the world supposed to work. Even if Life of Brian thinks so. Peace.

State of Georgia: Where one man was a Candidate and tally General at the same time!

You know something is off, when the same guy running for governor, also have the power and administer the polls itself. This was Brian Kemp of the Georgia State, who happen to run on the ballot and administer the polls and counting of the polls. If you thought they would be fair or free, think again.

This is state was a Banana Republic yesterday, where people was purged of the voter rolls, where the lack of equipment and disenfranchised voters by the dozens. If I were Brian Kemp, I would have stepped down a long time ago as the state official of the Midterm Elections. As the double play and double role played to his advantage. No matter who had gone against him, he would have put up the guards and ensured victory.

That the Secretary of State Kemp ensured this and made the polls has be a deliberate act. As the state delivered to several poll stations late ballots, other machines with no cords and so on. With this sort of actions. You just know that the game been rigged. There is no joke, there is no laugh, this is the reason why you need foreign Election Observer Missions from EU/AU/ASEAN,USAN and Commonwealth. To secure the legitimacy and also if the elections is credible.

The first stop, should be that the man who is in-charge of the elections shouldn’t be allowed to run in the polls. It doesn’t matter, which party the man represents or align with. It is matter of principals and ethical values. That should matter, if you want to show progress and be a democracy.

This here could be taken out of any questionable election within the last 5 years on other continents, where the Electoral Commission has rigged in favour of the ruling party and made ways to ensure their candidates victory. There is no difference on George State and several banana republic abroad.

Let me say it again, it wouldn’t matter if Mother Theresa, Mahatma Ghandi or Jesus incarnated raced against Kemp in Georgia, yesterday. Because, he could sway, gerrymandering and secure the ballots in his favour. By securing the lack of polling stations is certain districts and also ensure that his base was covered. That is clearly the memo from yesterday too. As there was enough signs of foul play to be heard off.

I wish it was differently and a fair fight, but when your racing against the guy, whose running the show. It is bound to fail. Peace.
