While today, peaceful protesters in the processions of the twenty-first of November are subjected to severe repression in the streets, a political agreement was signed between General Al-Burhan and Dr. Abdullah Hamdok.
In the presence of the military and civilian forces of the coup leaders, in a sudden political development that calls for clarification of the position of the Sudanese Congress Party in a clear manner that leaves no room for doubt or ambiguity:
First: We see that the political agreement did not address the roots of the crisis and was made hastily in closed rooms away from the live forces of the December Revolution and without the trouble of its advice, while a large number of its leaders from the political and civil forces are under the arbitrary arbitrary political detention.
Second: Based on that, and since Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk was previously appointed to his position by the Forces of Declaration of Freedom and Change, his unilateral decision to sign such an agreement without authorization is considered an act that lacks legitimacy and is outside the ruling constitutional framework The recognized document represented in the Constitutional Document of 2019 and its amendments in 2020 based on the Sudan Peace Agreement in Juba.
Third: The justifications on which the agreement was based strayed from objectivity and truth, because it renamed the military coup a correction, the political parties are responsible for the causes of the political crisis, while all the facts indicate that it is an artificial crisis that was prepared by the putschists by suffocating the country security and economically and creating a civil and political front parallel to the forces of declaring freedom and change to become a pliable tool in the hands of the putschists. it provides them with a political cover for the overthrow of the constitution and the subsequent grave violations of the rights of Sudanese women and men to life, freedom and a decent life.
Fourth: We consider that the current political agreement is an explicit legalization of the continuation of the coup regime in power. And it is considered a serious threat to the stability of the country and the security of its citizens because of the powers it grants to multiple forces that do not believe in civil democratic transformation or the right of peoples to determine their fate and future. Which threatens to explode this system internally and turn the country into an arena of intense regional conflict.
Fifth: Absent from the agreement are the most important points of contention that prompted the putschists to implement their uncalculated step of transferring the presidency of the Sovereign Council to civilians. The civil political authority’s management of the process of reforming the security and military systems, and the state’s jurisdiction over public money, including the companies affiliated with those systems.
Sixth: The agreement also missed the most important key conditions that would guarantee the success of the civil democratic transformation and the stability of the country in the future and represented in the exit of the military institution from the political process, and the unification of the mechanism for determining the foreign policies of Sudan and taking its own decisions within the civilian political authority.
Seventh: Any agreement that does not include the accountability of the military and civilian revolutionaries, means paving the way for the recurrence of the coup again in the future, and contributing to accepting and consolidating the pattern of impunity and accepting the behavior of seizing power by force.
The refusal of the free and rebellious masses in the processions of the twenty-first of November and in the various cities, villages and villages of Sudan to this flawed agreement came automatically and clearly and unambiguously, and we, as we renew our initial rejection of this agreement, affirm that we are proceeding with all determination in the path of resisting the coup regime and opposing it by peaceful means until its overthrow, and that we will always remain wherever the masses and the forces of the living revolution are ahead in their constant quest for liberation from tyranny and their aspiration for freedom, peace, justice and a decent life.
Long live our people free and victorious
