The first meeting of the Executive Office of the Forces of Freedom and Change was held yesterday evening, Thursday, December 9, 2021 AD, with the participation of all the blocs constituting freedom and change, and the meeting took many decisions related to the organizational and political situation and how to respond to the requirements of the post-coup phase of October 25, 2021, and identified spokespersons for the Forces of Freedom and Change, who will be announced soon.
Regarding the political situation:
No to the political charter that aims to legitimize the coup and create a new incubator.
The Executive Office renewed its rejection of the agreement of November 21, 2021 AD, and considered it a gift from those who do not have to those who do not deserve, and that it is nothing but an attempt to legitimize the decisions of the coup and engineer the intrusion of the constitutional document and its overthrow, and that the call for a political charter is being worked on by the Prime Minister with individuals in complete transgression of the street and the forces of freedom and change and all the forces of revolution and change are outside it, and it is only an extension of building the political incubator for the coup, and the prime minister, who was brought by the forces of freedom and change, does not have any constitutional authority to sign an agreement or put forward a political charter that aims primarily and opens the way for the replacement of the main forces of freedom and change with gelatinous entities.
Related to the coup since its inception and does not believe in democracy. The Prime Minister describes it as reasonable positions and reliable in forming his next government of technocrats supporting the coup, and we call on all living forces to reject this pact cooked at night.
We call for the widest front to resist the coup:
The Forces of Freedom and Change, benefiting from their previous experiences and their political declaration signed on September 8, 2021 AD, will seek to work with all the forces that reject the coup, represented by all the forces of revolution and change, and will conduct wide and transparent consultations on how to build the broadest front of resistance at home, this includes resistance committees, women’s organizations, revolution and change forces affiliated and not affiliated with the Alliance of Freedom and Change Forces, Sudanese organizations in the diaspora, civil society, active personalities in all fields, creators and intellectuals, not only to overthrow the coup, rather, it is to build a new democratic system that enjoys the support and backing of our people.
We condemn the killing of civilians in Darfur and South Kordofan / Nuba Mountains:
The expansion of killings of civilians in Khartoum, which spread to the countryside and cities of Sudan recently and took a dangerous turn in some areas of Darfur and Kordofan, is a direct result of the deterioration caused by the coup which began in the preparatory stages for it by causing strife in various parts of Sudan, and what happens could lead to the expansion of the civil war and the elimination of the peace agreement achieved by the revolution and will have dire consequences for civilians and will send negative messages to the movements that were negotiating the transitional government.. We call on the regional and international community to support the protection of Sudanese civilians.
Processions of peaceful resistance and qualitative development:
We call on all the daughters and sons of our people to participate extensively and effectively in the peaceful resistance processions that were called for according to the schedule issued by the resistance committees. Provided that this includes all the countryside and cities of Sudan, and we call on professionals and creators to develop qualitative forms of resistance, including strikes and sit-ins, each in its field and scope and what it deems appropriate and supportive of the resistance so that the resistance does not depend on a single form of its forms, with an emphasis on the commitment to peace.
Participation of women and youth:
The participation of women, whether in political alliances or in leadership positions in the government after the glorious December revolution, was not to the extent that fulfills their rights and does not reflect their contribution to the revolution, and the Executive Office will push a vision for the Leadership Council to adopt it to increase the effectiveness of women and youth participation.
We in the forces of freedom and change, along with the masses of our people, will resist the coup with determination and courage. Repression and arrests will not discourage us from resisting it. Rather, it will make our resistance more firm.
So that we establish our democratic civil authority, a state of equal citizenship, and justice for every right holder and for every martyr who conquered injustice and died.
