Sudan: Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) – Press Statement (16.02.2022)

Meeting of members of the Executive Office of the Forces for Freedom and Change with Lieutenant-General Kabashi, Al-Atta and others, fabrication and deception from the coup forces.

What was attributed to Darfur 24 by a source from the forces of freedom and change about the meeting of three members of the executive office of the forces of freedom and change with Lieutenant-General Kabashi and others is untrue and fabricated and part of the ongoing campaigns against the forces of freedom and change from the coup and those who deal with it, and an attempt to strike and disrupt the building of the broad civil front to confront the coup, and for Freedom and Change are official spokespersons and not an unknown source.

Members of the aforementioned Executive Office have been chased and arrested over the past few days, just as their colleagues were arrested before. The forces of freedom and change are in one trench with our people to defeat the coup, and attempts to demonize it will not succeed.

Sudan: Sudanese Congress Party – Statement on the great February 14 February processions (14.02.2022)

Our people are bridges;

A new heroic epic day is recorded today in the glorious Sudanese revolution records, in which the torrents of peaceful masses poured into the cities and countryside, and the processions were decorated with honorable banners with the image of the heroic martyrs and the banners of the solidarity of the honorable detainees and detainees, and the revolutionaries rode the horses of stability with eyeballs gilded with unique determination, so they drew the piercing arrows of peaceful struggle and tightened the strings of the throats of the resounding throats, and the brutal coup authority revolted in its weak veins, the revolutionaries, the opportunists, and the remnants of the former regime will inevitably go to their inevitable fate, as our people are stronger.

Our victorious people;

The criminal coup d’état has gone too far in using repression, live bullets and tear gas canisters. Dozens of people were wounded, and we send them sincere calls for a speedy recovery, in new crimes and violations that are added to the overcrowded list of revolutionaries’ crimes, which will not discourage our people from overthrowing this brutal authority, but rather increase their determination and steadfastness.

The activities of the February 14 million processions also witnessed the participation of political detainees from political parties and resistance committees in Soba prison on a hunger strike, and their earthquake chants coincided with the ululating of the processions launching in all Sudan, at exactly one o’clock in the afternoon.

It was also noticeable in today’s processions raising slogans calling for the unity of the revolutionary forces as the necessary condition for resolving the battle with the revolutionary authority by defeating it.. from the funeral of the revolutionary authority to its worthy resting place in the dustbin of history, and the restoration of the march of civil democratic transformation and the building of the nation that all its people embrace under the banners of freedom, peace, prosperity and justice.

Long live our people free and victorious.

Mercy and forgiveness for our righteous martyrs, who sacrificed their precious souls for freedom, and for our falsely accused detainees and those unlawfully detained behind the bars of the coup prisons. We pray that God give them patience and reunite them with their sons and daughters.

Our honorable people, our free revolutionaries, we salute you as we wage war against the coup d’état and all their desperate means and methods to attack the glorious revolution, but no way.

As a result, Khartoum State Resistance Committees Coordinations informs you that their statements and schedules are only published on the coordination’s official pages and platforms, and there is no other page or platforms other than the pages you are already familiar with, which are titled with the names of each coordination separately.

Sudan: The Unified Office of Physicians – Statement – About the assault on medical staff at El Fasher Specialized Hospital for Women and Obstetrics (11.02.2022)

Last Tuesday, regulars assaulted medical staff at El Fasher Specialized Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology in North Darfur state while performing their work, and drew weapons without appreciating the conditions patients, or in observance of the sanctity of hospitals.

Immediately, the doctors entered the hospital on a comprehensive strike until their demands of providing security, arresting the perpetrators and implementing the Medical Personnel Protection Law, and after the State Security Committee committed to arresting the perpetrators within three hours and implementing the rest of the demands within a week, the strike for emergency cases was lifted, but the state authorities did not abide by their pledge, so that the doctors returned and announced a comprehensive strike in all state hospitals.

The regulars kept repeating this phenomenon in this hospital, because they incur punishment every time, and their manners worsened after each attack, the assault that often what is met with negligence by the state authorities, whose reaction to each incident of assault reflects the fact that the regulars are excluded from issuing arrest warrants and writing criminal reports against them, which puts the lives of patients at risk.

We note that during the past two years, the rate of assault on medical personnel in the state has increased, in every incident, follow-up committees are formed, and the authorities are not obligated to bring the perpetrators to justice, and all of this goes unheeded without these authorities justifying a covenant or an oath.

The coup d’état that absented all the state’s organs and its judicial and service institutions; It is responsible for all these health and humanitarian disasters that happen to our people, it puts the lives of medical staff and patients of our people at stake, and most of these attacks are perpetrated by those who are responsible for providing security.

We in the Unified Office believe in the justice of the cause of doctors and other medical staff in North Darfur. We affirm the following:

1- The state authorities should immediately arrest the perpetrators after they are confirmed we have that they are known to have a hospitalized patient and that was documented at the moment of the assault.

2- We invite all the medical cadres in the state to stand in solidarity with its cause by engaging in a cold case strike in all the state’s health institutions, including private hospitals and private clinics. To lobby to expedite the legal process process.

3- We hope that all medical cadres in all other states of Sudan will show solidarity with this incident in the ways they deem appropriate to put them in the state and coordinate it.

Sudan: The Unified Office of Sudanese Doctors – About the meeting with UNITAMS on 5th February 2022 (07.02.2022)

Sudan: Forces of Freedom and Change – Important Statement (06.02.2022)

At the outset, we have mercy on the souls of the martyrs of the Sudanese revolution, and we wish a speedy recovery for the injured and a safe return for the missing.

The glorious December revolution came after a strong and arduous struggle by the daughters and sons of the Sudanese people, to crown the Sudanese dream of building a state of freedom, peace and justice.

Since one of the most important goals of the glorious December revolution was to achieve a successful civil and democratic transition, it was necessary to fulfill the requirements of this transition, most notably the dismantling of the June 30, 1989 regime in favor of the state of all Sudanese and returning the looted funds to the mandate of the Ministry of Finance.

Then came the birth of the Committee to dismantle the regime of the thirtieth of June 1989 and the recovery of public funds as a fruit of the blessed December revolution, which bore upon it the restoration of rights to the people who were stricken by the fires of injustice from the regime of the thirtieth of June 1989, which plundered the country’s resources and wealth and made them spoils for the members of the Islamic movement it also enabled its membership in all parts of the state, which required the dismantling of the former regime in order for the state to regain its independence and return to the public treasury the looted resources.

Upon its formation, the committee organized its work axes to include all sectors of corruption and confront its various forms. Despite the weak support that remained inherent to the committee’s work, it performed its required duties in a way that raised the concern of the enemies of the dismantling project and the owners of conflicting interests and so on.

Perhaps the most prominent files that the committee worked on were the termination of the services of the dissolved party’s employees who obtained public office through party loyalty and social empowerment, which showed positive indicators in the institutions that were subject to this, and the effectiveness of the counter-revolution within these institutions decreased.

When discussions arose about how the committee works, and that the proper method should be done through the judicial organs (judicial and prosecution), our response was based on our knowledge of these organs that they are not qualified and are also one of the arms of the former regime and this is what we are all witnessing today.

The committee has made great efforts to achieve the goals entrusted to it, and dealt painful blows to the financial networks of the former regime and its symbols, and it has stripped large numbers of its leaders, influential individuals and stakeholders associated with it, of property, land and companies that they illegally acquired.

In addition to recovering the funds and investments that the regime granted to the movements affiliated with the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood, which are the steps that made the committee a target for the malicious campaigns launched by the media machine of the former regime and the interest groups that were harmed by the committee’s decisions with the intention of undermining it and discrediting it.

Undoubtedly, the work of the committee to dismantle the regime of June 30, 1989 and recover public funds had the most prominent role in resorting to the putschists to implement their plan and blocking the path to completing the task, which reached advanced and articulated stages.

For example, what happened in the banking system and the central bank had a major role in stabilizing the exchange rate, in addition to the file of mining and the file of companies owned by the security services, and public sector companies that were seized by the military.

Today we are witnessing a turbulent return of the dissolved party members whose service was terminated by the Committee to once again control the joints of state institutions, and to restore their control over the recovered funds that transferred the work of the Committee to the Ministry of Finance with the help of the work of the Appeals Committee whose formation has been suspended for two years, but it was formed after a hasty coup to blow up the decisions taken by the committee, and the money was returned by the putschists after the employees of the former regime linked to the security apparatus, by order of our people, returned to the judiciary, the prosecution and the judicial department that transgressed the law.

Where the coup d’état froze the committee’s work and formed a committee from the remnants of the former regime to review its work. It assigned its chairmanship to the cadre of the Islamic movement and the first undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Abdullah Ibrahim Ali Ismail, who was the Minister of Finance in the state of South Kordofan during the period of Major General Security Mufaddal, the governor of South Kordofan state, and the current director of the General Intelligence Service, until the fall of the regime, the committee continued the same dirty propaganda war through media leaks aimed at casting doubt on the work of the dismantling committee.

The forces of apostasy return with all their meanness and criminality to the tanks of the revolutionaries, and they are re-empowered by all state institutions, its economy and its wealth.

A state of citizenship, freedom, peace and justice. Our call for the unity of all the revolutionary forces in a broad front to bring down the coup and the forces of apostasy.

The people are stronger and apostasy is impossible

Sudan: Sudanese Professionals Association – Press Statement (04.02.2022)

The Sudanese Professionals Association received an invitation to meet with Mr. Volker Peretz, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the UNITAMS Mission in Sudan. This invitation came to reflect on the initiative.

The assembly had previously issued a statement in which it clarified its principled position rejecting the so-called dialogue initiative launched by Volcker, it is far from the demands of the revolution and the slogans raised by the forces of the live revolution in the face of the coup of the Security Committee and its allies, which aims to complete the process of reproducing the Islamic Front system with new interfaces to block the revolution and militarize the state and continue to steal the rich resources of our country.

The Sudanese Professionals Association announces its refusal to meet with Mr. Volcker and his delegation. The gathering adheres to what it announced from the first moment of the October 25, 2021 coup, that it should be overthrown and those involved in it from the military, militia leaders and civilians be brought to justice in special courts, and the establishment of the people’s full civil authority on constitutional legitimacy and a new revolution in order to implement the project of radical change and real democratic transformation, and to make the goals of the glorious December revolution a reality.

We summarize our response to the invitation in the following points:

1/ The UNITAMS mission did not fulfill its mission as per the mandate given to it by the UN Security Council to support and monitor the democratic transition. In the country, it did not take the desired position by condemning the coup of the Security Committee of the National Islamic Front regime on October 25, 2021 AD. Rather, the mission and its head sought to support it and the shameful recognition of the authority of the coup and its leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, it also worked to impose and consolidate the agreement legitimizing the coup rejected by the people between Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and Dr. Abdullah Hamdok on November 21, 2021 AD, positions that contradict the mission’s mandate and tasks, and are considered an unfortunate alignment with the junta of generals, militia leaders and warlords in the face of our rebellious people’s aspirations for civilian rule. And the independence of the political and economic decision, which confirms the inability of the mission and its head to play its role in supporting and monitoring the democratic transition in the country.

2/ The initiative launched by Mr. Volcker, the mandate and tasks of the UNITAMS mission, took a position of neutrality towards the military coup in its call for dialogue and communication between the “Sudanese parties”. It is an illegal position, according to the mission stipulated for the mission and the mission of the United Nations in support of peace and democracy, and a fraud that seeks to equate the junta of revolutionaries who commit crimes, atrocities and massacres on a daily basis against our people, and the vast, rebellious components of our people aspiring to solid civil rule.

A decent life in Sudan is freedom, peace and justice, which makes the initiative a purely open attempt to save the putschists and add a false legitimacy to their authority, and an outright hostility to the goals of the revolutionary forces that offered precious sacrifices, blood, sweat and tears for liberation from dictatorship and the rule of parasites.

The masses of the Sudanese people, and we are at the heart of them and to them, raised the slogan: “No negotiation, no partnership, no legitimacy” in the face of the coup forces, and affirmed that there is no way but to bring down all the putschists through our people’s diverse and proven means of peaceful resistance, and was confident to move forward to seize the national authority. Pure civil through revolutionary legitimacy and its establishment according to a new constitutional situation, which undermines the theoretical premises of Mr. Volcker’s initiative and mission, in its frantic quest to recycle the approach of the crisis partnership and the buried constitutional document that our people brought to their place in the dustbin of history.

Based on the lessons of our people and their glorious revolution in its throes and its continuity and our keenness to reach its goal, any attempt to return to the situation before October 25, 2021 AD from partnership or negotiation with the military is rejected, and we will confront it and bring it down with our proud people and its living revolutionary forces.

The Sudanese Professionals Association’s visions have been explained in detail in previous meetings with the UNITAM mission, and the assembly’s positions on the current situation in Sudan are known and published through our media platforms, and the assembly does not see any need for additional meetings with the mission and its head, especially with the aforementioned categorical, strict and principled rejection of the initiative.
