Police on Besigye (Youtube-Clip)

“Former presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye has ignored the sermons that were issued by the magistrates court to answer to charges of holding unlawful processions, disobeying police orders. Police spokesperson Fred enanga has now warned that the police will use its ion fist to force Besigye to court” (NBS TV Uganda, 2016).

Statement from Ingrid Turinawe after being released from Kasangati Police Station tonight! (09.04.2016)

Ingrid Turinawe 09.04.2016

Dear IGP Kale Kayihura, kindly put for us at least a mat or a blanket in this Kasangati police female cell. This cement is very cold For sure. Also fix this door. U can cut a piece of iron sheet, use it to fill these open spaces. It wl reduce the mosquitoes and insects which invade us at night. This roof is leaking. Kindly replace it. Manya Sebo, we are also human beings like you.  Meanwhile, I have a question, really, why did you arrest me today?.  Dear comrades, I have just been released from Kasangati police cells. No charges, no bond, no gate pass.

The Calvary has yet again blocked Kasangati; The Police are dumbfounded about the whereabouts of Besigye!

Kasangati 09.04.2016 P4

Long live the Forum for Democratic Change! This here is the story that is nearly to good to be true. As the house have surveillance and had many more guards than the ordinary State House in Entebbe and Nakasero. It says the story of the level of quality of the Uganda Police. As their DPC Kasangati, James Kawalya cannot feel cool today.

That IGP Kale Kayihura cannot feel good, as he have had the control of the situation and must feel his spine shaking today. That must be the general feeling as his boss, the Don Museveni is in the mountains of Rwenzori shooting and hunting for accidental victims of the Post-Election attacks.

So the Police earlier today detained Ingrid Turinawe the FDC Mobiliser and also the Dr. Kizza Besigye car from Kasangati, as he was not in the car towards the celebration at Nakivubo Settlement Primary School, where he was to attend and be the special guest with Erias Lukwago.

They thought they caught him and got him good. Besigye’s car has yet again towed-in by the authorities to the Kasangati Police Station or luckily the Naggalama Police Station in Mukono.  That is because they cannot help themselves.

Kasangati 09.04.2016

One newly elected FDC MP Francis Mwijuke had this story to tell:

“I drove from Dr. Kizza Besigyes House this morning on my way to town. I was in Dr. Besigyes car UAN 661V. I was being followed by Ingrid Turinawe in a Prado UAW 616W. When I joined the Nangabo rd, about 7 police vehicle broked the road and surrounded. I kept in the vehicle for about ten minutes. Later the police commander moved to me and I brought the car screens down. They found that it was me traveling in Dr. Besigyes car and Kato the driver. They then searched every where in the vehicle including under the seats. After realizing that he was not anywhere, they opened for me after like 20 minutes and I continued to town. I then had the commander pronouncing, he is in the other vehicle. Ingrid didn’t open for them for 30 minutes. When she finally opened for them and they found Dr. Besigye not in that vehicle they towed it with Ingrid in and took it to Kasangati police station due to the embarrassment”.

URN reports this:

“It remains unclear how and when Besigye left the house, but a source close to the former presidential candidate told URN that Besigye left the home shortly before the police deployment. Police is reported to have deployed at the home at 8am to prevent Dr Kizza Besigye from leaving the home” (URN, 2016).

If the Police Force is tooling up and really cutting of the roads, detaining the FDC Officials trying to get the man to planned event in Kampala; than he can’t really be free and the Police Force is again showing how much they are lying to the world. This here is a proof of the evidence of the effects of the Police State and how the affairs in Uganda are. There are even reports of Police Force going during a funeral in the country and throwing tear-gas! Think about that for a hot-minute, wait a hot-second, that is just tragic itself that the Police enters a mourning period for family and loved ones, but also coming in throwing tear-gas!

Nakivubo PS 09.04.2016

This here is while the Police searching for the FDC Presidential Candidate of Dr. Kizza Besigye and not knowning his wearabouts. It’s golden, its wonderful and proving that they need more professional guards to keep him monitored. Because this guys are wicked and hungry, not men who knows their business!

This is just remarkable that he gets out of his home, which been sieged since mid-February with guards, vans and mambas besieging his gate and area. Therefore the classic story of getting away from this is just priceless. UPF can be proud of the hard work and dedication, time to write the Don and apology and hope for forgiveness for you craft. Peace.

The Calvary tools up; They cut off roads to Kasangati and make sure that Besigye does not attend the victory celebration at Nakivubo today!

Kasangati 09.04.2016

It just had to happen Today! The day of celebration, the day that the Opposition leaders around Kampala and Wakiso were to celebrate at Nakivubo Primary School or Nakivubo Settlement P.S. with special attendance from the FDC Presidential Candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye and Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago of Kampala City. But, hey IGP Kayihura have to show his friendly mercy to man.

As the organizers had followed the Public Order Management Act and sent the information with time, place and who was expected to be in attendance also reassuring about the stance of only one “Meeting” their at the time, not colliding with anything. So the proper authorities were respected and the laws were followed by the FDC and their winners in this regard.

Kasangati 09.04.2016 P2

Still the Police and DPC of Kasangati had to go use a Preventative Arrest strategy of cutting of the roads to Kasangati and Kampala with a giant new Roadblock to make sure that Dr. Kizza Besigye does not attend the Opposition Victory celebration.

So the Uganda Police Force and the Government continues to stifle him and not make him have an ordinary political life or even living as a person, so the freedom and the liberty of him is not there.

UPF Road to Kasangati 09.04.2016

I am sure that Police are using only subsection 9 of the POMA:

“(1) The police shall be responsible for preserving law and order before, during and after a public meeting”.

Kasangati 09.04 P1

The Police had to take-in and drag-in, pardon me tow-in the car Reg no. UAW 616W that Ingrid Turinawe was we’re travelling in with and is now taken to Kasangati police station; because they couldn’t help themselves.

Ingrid Car 09.04.

This is the grand gesture of the Police since they cannot and the ruling party cannot accept the truth or the concern of the opposition leader, as they have blatantly keep him under siege and house-arrest since Mid-February.

Kasangati 09.04.2016 P3

They said they would leave, but doing this when they have been more steady and active. As the visible signs of today, Don Museveni and his tribe can do as they please with no-sense of justice for the rest. Epitome of that principal is Dr. Kizza Besigye and his opposition Party Officials and Opposition Parties in general as they play in his playground and therefore can get silenced by any means. Peace.

“Uganda sacrificing civil liberties for the sake of stability” says US envoy (Youtube-Clip) & Ofwono Opondo responds!

“The United States Ambassador to Uganda has raised concern that government appears to be sacrificing the civil liberties of citizens rights at the altar of maintaining stability. Ambassador Deborah Malac who was addressing students from higher institutions of learning here in Kampala says the poor organization of the elections and detention of opposition politicians has dented Uganda’s democratic credentials. Herbert Zziwa has the details of that report” (NTV Uganda, 2016).

RESPONSE TO US AMBASSODOR MS. DEBORAH MALAC
7th April 2016

The Uganda Government notes and takes strong exception to the continued unfair criticisms about its elections and human rights records by the US Ambassador Ms. Deborah Malac. We would like to briefly respond as follows;
The U.S. Government sponsored an election observer team under the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy (EISD) in Africa, through the International Republican Institute (IRI) Washington D.C. This was led by former Zambian President Rupiah Banda, which issued a report giving credit to Uganda’s just concluded elections. We would like to advise Ambassador Deborah Malac to carefully read that report. Unless she is giving it a vote of no confidence, then she is at liberty to keep referring to and relying on the partisan and very shallow EU report.
lt is strange that Ambassador Malac doesn’t refer to the report her government commissioned. Secondly, she doesn’t acknowledge that late delivery of ballot materials was in only two out of 112 districts in Uganda. These were isolated incidents and indeed time was extended and all voters who wished to vote did cast their votes, and those votes were counted, tallied and added to final results.

Since the publication of the Uganda Presidential Election results, none of the observer groups has come with credible evidence to challenge the results posted by Electoral Commission. We therefore wish to ask them to either adduce evidence or keep their peace for good. Otherwise, we know that some groups in the US and EU, including diplomats accredited to Uganda, funded and are still funding opposition elements in Uganda to cause government change outside the constitutional framework but are disappointed this hasn’t been successful as yet.
The U.S., which uses raw power to project its influence and interests around the world, is the least competent to ask other nations for democratic accountability. Uganda’s democracy is progressing well and we are satisfied with both the pace and achievements registered so far.

Besigye Gives Museveni Immediate Ultimatum (Youtube-Clip)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejbdfKccH3M

“FDC’S Dr. Kizza Besigye has given President Yoweri Museveni an immediate ultimatum to consent to have an independent audit kick off or he forms his own government with statehouse in Kisangani. Dr. Kiiza Besigye is one of the aggrieved presidential candidates who are challenging the legitimacy of President Yoweri Museveni as the president elect and has now resorted to a defiance campaign to win the presidency” (NBS TV Uganda, 2016).

“The Chain yourself movement is ongoing and here is a video from today. Courtsey of The Insider (a news website in Uganda)” (Martha Leah Nangalama, 2016).

Dr. Kizza Besigye released from Bond from Naggalama P.S. for “Unlawful Procession” in Kampala today (05.04.2016)

Besigye Release on Bond 05.04.2016 P2

“Just released from Naggalama Police Station. I was Charged with Unlawful Procession! I left home with one vehicle and never disembarked” – Dr. Kizza Besigye

I have to ask; Where is Wangegeya Police Station, Mr. Officer? I think you guys arrest and detained wrong person as Dr. Col. Kiiza Besigye must be an interesting character! The same UPF Police Officer also wrote “Prossession” when tthe right word is “Procession” as Dr. Kizza Besigye is quoted with as well.  Well, what else can you expect from a Police Officer who clervly just follows orders and does not think for himself. As the Naggalama Police Station is an ordinary place for Dr. Kizza Besigye to spend his time in.  Must be weird for the Officer to write a bond as he is not used to either. IT wasn’t done during the routinly activities after the Presidential Elections. So why now ,Mr. Officer? With the current and adherent stay from hours during day eating dinner there and then going back to rest in home. Something Besigye did many days during the late February, but does this look like a organized procession?

FDC Besigye 05.04.2016

No, it doesn’t look like a planned event! But the NRM can’t help themselves.

Kampala NRM Celebration 31.03.2016 P1

This is an organized one right? Why wasn’t any of them in detained? Well, wait there where more people praying at Watoto;then in the streets of Kampala at this moment of celebrations for the NRM in Kampala. My bad Mr. Officer. Forgive this is the almighty N-R-M. No-Rescue-Me. Not-Repeat-Me. Nonsense-Raised-Me. And so on.

Dr. Kizza Besigye can show up in Wandegeya Police Station close to Makerere University. I am surely he will struggle to pass without making an illegal pocession through Central Kampala. As was the issue before the grand Election Day, but the NRM have forgotten that piece of intelligence together with their ability to write correctly.

I rest my case. Peace.

FDC Supporters detained in Entebbe; while FDC Officials visits Besigye who is detained in Naggalama Police Station; FDC Supporters and Boda-Boda drivers beaten and detained at Naggalama P.S. as well!

Entebbe 05.04.2016 Clear cut

As the FDC Leader Dr. Kizza Besigye got detained the reaction sparked instantly in the FDC branch in Entebbe, where a group of FDC supporters went to walk-around the State House in silent demonstration against the oppression of their party.

This was not something the NRM-Regime could accept, this defying spirit and peaceful demonstration around the premises of state property, so the FDC supporters who was walking along the sides of State House, was finally taken by the Special Force Command and detained as well.

Naggalama Police Station 05.04.2016

Also later in the day the FDC Officials went to Naggalama Police Station in Mukono to visit the detained leader:

“Visiting The People’s president at Nagalama police station.I am with General Muntu, Hon Wafula, Hon Nandala, Hon Mwijukye, Pastor Ngabo e.t.c. The OC CID, DPC have all fled their offices” (Doreeen Nyajura, 2016).

Naggalama Police Station 05.04.2016 P2

There are more people there with him from the FDC, like  Susan Norma, Ingrid Turinawe and more where they are getting Past Ngabo to pray for Besigye!

Naggalama Police Station 05.04.2016 P3

More actions at the Naggalama Police Station:

“KB supporters terribly beaten and arrested here at Nagalama police station, the bodabodas that were transporting them have been arrested 2!” (Doreen Nyajura, 2016).

Also been said about actions there:

“Police are scared and firing bullets in Nagalama now. The people have had enough of the police criminality, we have to confront these goons. They have arrested even Mr. Ajuna the FDC candidate Fort Portal municipality as if he is a petty criminal” (Moses Atocon Atyeko, 2016)

There will come more, as it evolves and as the Government of Uganda, and the Police continues to stifle and undermined the opposition in Uganda. Peace.
