Opinion: Bwanika is hungry and I don’t blame him!

Abed is hungry, very hungry, his plate is empty; therefore he seeks relevance in the misty world of cronies and opportunists. Abed Bwanika, the People’s Development Party (PDP) leader and long-time running President Candidate is seeking to become relevant again. He has been missing the spotlight and being in the window of opportunity since the Campaigns and General Election of 2016. He is now defending the Kiggundu math-class and the cooking of the numbers of the Electoral Commission. He is accepting the assault on the freedoms of the people, the blockade of internet and social-media, even transfer of mobile money, the police detaining and charging opposition politicians like they we’re the mob. That is what Bwanika this week is accepting.

Therefore, you know he does it seek relevance, because he knows he will fall into oblivion, into a misty fog of grey goose and sluts. He will not be anyone of concern anymore, he is now a nobody, who at some point ran for Presidency, but is now just a common citizen, which is the reality that Bwanika cannot stomach. Beecause Bwanika want to be someone and cannot figure out how to be that. That is why he is defending the General Election of 2016. Even if he knows he is losing. That is what Bwanika is doing, he defending his loss and trying to capture the losses. So he can get a win out of nothing.

It is ironic speaking about the love of the Republic, rule of law and democracy, when he is defending voter rigging, police brutality, arbitrary arrests and illegal detentions of opposition politicians. Maybe if he spent as much time under house-arrest as Besigye or behind bars like FDC Activists, he would have seen the world a bit differently. However, the ignorance of Bwanika is clear. It is open and he is putting salt in the wounds.

That is because he wants to eat, he wants to have plenty, and he has seen how Beti Kamya and the likes are eating, and enjoying life under the wings of the President. He want to be covered like them. Not walking in the wilderness without any cover. Bwanika needs his guiding star and wants his envelopes too.

So with in mind, I don’t blame him, he wants to eat and there is not so many ways to do it. Unless, he wants put in work or give the president a handshake to run a market in Kampala. Bwanika wants to be head honcho, but knows that has to be in accordance with the President. That is why he has suddenly moved in this way. He knows that and we who follows the politics of the lands knows that.

It is not like I want to jinx it, but if he would get appointed to some random outpost or mere lack of importance within the administration. He would take it and kiss the ring. Because he want to get paid without any accountability. Bwanika wants relevance; he wants to be in the spotlight and properly paid!

That is why he is suddenly defending the General Election of 2016, even when he deep in his heart. He knows he is wrong. Because he is hungry and wants eat, he is tired of beans; he wants meat and a decent salary. Peace.

Do the Gunners really want to be associated with Paul Kagame?

As today news show, that ‘Visit Rwanda’ has signed a sponsorship deal with Arsenal Football Club, which means that jerseys will be filled at one specific place with the logo of ‘Visit Rwanda’. Rwanda which all controlled by President Paul Kagame, the general who has blood on his hands and knows very well how to use his trigger finger. General Kagame is ruthless and unforgiving, his enemies either lingers in jail or are buried six-feet under. Therefore, the Gunners have blazed all guns with this one.

If your thinking it is legitimate to forgive the man for being the current leader of African Union, at some point Muammar Gadaffi was too and they took his dictatorial flesh all across the streets before getting rid-off him. Rwanda has their own dictator and that is Kagame. Kagame might dress smart and talk like a wise man. But he has killed and gotten rid of his enemies. There are many men and woman who has gotten at the other side of the gun. That all on orders of Kagame. This isn’t a fairytale, it isn’t a fiction either. It is the reality and the blood of the voices that stand-ups to Kagame.

Goal Reports: “Goal understands that the £10 million-a-year ($13m) deal with ‘Visit Rwanda’ is the biggest sleeve sponsorship contract in the Premier League, surpassing Chelsea’s £6m-a-year ($8m) agreement with Hyundai and Manchester City’s partnership with Korean company Nexen Tire” (Chris Wheatley – ‘Arsenal sign Premier League’s biggest sleeve sponsor deal’ 23.05.2018, Goal).

So, the state of Rwanda can afford a three year deal with the Gunners for £10m. What is ironic in this is that the United Kingdom The Department for International Development (DFID) planned total budget for Rwanda are in 2017/18 total £64m and in 2018/19 are £62m. Meaning, that the about 16,6% of the DFID budget funds are returned to the United Kingdom, through the payments of ‘Visit Rwanda’. But they are going directly to the Gunners of London and not in the pockets of anyone else.

Just to be specific about the violations of the Rwandan government in 2016 to 2017, the Human Rights Watch reported in their 2018 report, that 37 people killed as petty suspects in the Western Province between April 2016 and March 2017. This is just a small fraction of the real numbers, as there are many undocumented ones. Therefore, this is just a small sample of the pain that Kagame does to the ones who stands in his way.

He is used to blazing guns, now he is blazing the state funds on a sponsorship deal, because surely he has seen the plan and said “do it”. I doubt he wasn’t kept in the loop, because the President does it all and controls it all. That is why people are forced to vote for him and follow his laws. He says they all support him, but then if they did, his biggest rivals wouldn’t be behind bars like Victoire Ingabire and Diane Shima Rwigara. Who both had the courage to stand-up and speak against Kagame, that has a price, which is either behind bars or killed. They got the first and not the second offer.

Therefore, the Gunners are really following their nickname, Arsenal are now associated with Kagame and his tyranny. They are already flushing in monies from other questionable sources, but this is the latest. The one I know. If the Board and Owners of Arsenal Football Club knows this, then they are accepting mercenaries blood-money from the Democratic Republic of Congo and even that the aid supposed to be donated to development projects are instead ending up their to pay the fat salaries for their Premier League footballers.

That should make anyone shake their heads, usually football isn’t that serious, but when you put money into play. It becomes dead-serious and Kagame isn’t playing, he is coning and trying to white-wash his name. People like me don’t accept that, he has to many bodies on his watch to be forgiven and to many people who has suffered just he and his kin could rule Rwanda. Peace.

Opinion: DP Ruto shows again how he finessed the game, yet again!

What happen on Sunday on the 20th May 2018, that everyone has accept the results of the Fresh Presidential Elections on the 26th October 2017. Like he knows perfectly well the flaws and the issues with the elections. He was part of the issues that the elections of 2017 had, it was him and the President who ordered and fixed the results. Therefore, it is insulting to tell others how to cope with the end-game. But that is his arrogance.

Deputy President William Ruto has finessed this game, using the CORD/NASA as the wrong-doers, while his party is justified. Ruto has all along said that you should respect the constitution, rule of law and fighting insecurity. While his government are disrespecting the same values, attacking the Supreme Court, not following Court Orders or even securing the people, as the police continues with brutality after the elections in 2017.

DP Ruto is really just disrespecting the values that he is so concerned about, he is defending it, when it goes his way. But when the same courts and same rules of law is in his way, the state and the Jubilee will say its a problem. We have all been here before, Ruto is really just finessing his way. Now we have to accept the outcome of the elections. Just like they wasn’t fully flawed and deserves an independent investigations into the Cambridge Analytica, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Safaricom and the OT Morpho controversy, as the digital results transmission, the BVR Machine nightmare and the IEBC Server connected to the Cambridge Analytica server. All of these issues should be looked into, but that will also undress the king and the prince, which is Ruto. He and his kind will not accept the madness of doing so.

Also, that Ruto thinks people forget the number-crushing, the lack of openness within the results transmission, the lack of truthful voter register and amount of voters, which changed with time. As well, as the problematic high turnout for the 26th October elections, compared to the lack of people actually turning out. It is like Ruto forgets this. There are too many issues with this elections, just to let it go and say: Your the DP and President, we cannot question your legitimacy.

Even with the building bridges project, it doesn’t erase the history of these elections, that is why Ruto tries to finesse it. Tries to overshadow and let people forget the grand issues of it all. Ruto should be careful to even mention the elections. Because he knows perfectly well, all of these issues and underlying problems.

So, if he says they are legitimate, lets someone really independent, not judges who we’re besieged and house-arrested give the verdict, not let the boycotts and the grandest issues fall behind the swords of your tongue. Because we know the deal, we know the outcome and we know about what happen. It is the ignorant and blatant disregard for electoral practice that lets this go. It is you and your kind that don’t give a fig, about respecting the ballots and the people’s will.

Ruto, I will not accept a computer generated elections, where donkeys, chickens and kids voted your in and the electorate was disenfranchised. That is forgotten and people like me will not accept it. People were sleeping as guards on the polling stations. Therefore, Mr. Ruto, your legitimacy is fragile, it is fake and you can blame and tell others how to feel.

However, that will not change the reality and the real outcome of the 26th October 2017, maybe you should send the army to spread more fear, maybe more leaders in house-arrest. Because that was how you got the courts to comply to your wishes. Peace.
