Opinion: “Clayton Bigsby” is running for office in 2024…

I thought I was more Malcolm X but I found out I’m more MLK. Because as I’m getting hosed down every day by the press and financially, I’m just standing there. When I found out they tried to put me in jail, it was like a dog was biting my arm. I almost shed a tear, almost” – Kanye West (28.11.2022).

Who would have thought the skit and the comedic genius of Dave Chappelle from back in the day would be so relevant in 2022. The year of 2022, years after the final ending of the HBO’s series called Dave Chappelle. There are several skits and parts of it, which is relevant to this day. However, one character is more important than ever.

That is Clayton Bigsby, the African-American who was a KKK member and hated black people. That guy seems to be reflection of who Kanye Omari West has become. The recording artist, the music mogul and former billionaire.

His now on his second stint of running for President. The last one in 2020 was a mess and ill prepared. Kanye wasn’t even on the ticket in all states and barely got over 50,000 votes. So, it is not like Ye or Kanye has a big political base to begin with.

It doesn’t help with his outburst and his affiliations. The campaign team that he has surrounded himself with isn’t all that either. Unless, he wants to run on a crazy-MAGA, Alt-Right and close to fascist agenda, which maybe be true at this point. Has hired Nick Fuentes to be his Communication Director and Milo Yiannopoulos as his Campaign Director. In the middle of this, the banned YouTuber Sneako has also appeared. Therefore, his really associating himself with the fringes of society and the hardliners on the right.

The ones denying is that is stupid. It’s like Ye is seeking validation from the white. That he needs to be respected and acknowledged, because his somehow fighting their cause. It is hard to believe that a man like Kanye is associating himself and working with these people. However, he is and his seemingly thriving in their presence. I don’t know what it is… but the anti-Semitism, White Supremacy and ice-cold Nazi’s are now his folks.

That’s why his like the fictional Clayton Bigsby. A man who wore the cloak, spread the message against blackness and his hatred of it. Yes, he was blind and couldn’t see his own skin. However, the duality of that is clear in Kanye too.

We can with certainty expect more anti-Semitism and more such things. The latest short interview on Tim Pool’s Podcast only further this picture. Kanye isn’t built for an honest conversation. His just made for “yes-men” and be surrounded by people in his elitist sphere. That’s why he cannot come across as sincere or even understanding of the topics his discussing.

When he said in the short timespan that he was nearly like “MLK”. That wasn’t only like a Clayton Bigsby skit, but taken straight out of Boondocks. Sooner or later Kanye will re-appear in a real life adaption of a South Park episode. This time not saying “Gay-Fish” but going further down the rabbit hole into oblivion. Because, this 2024 campaign must be a golden opportunity for the boys along him. They are certainly paid on and on a pay-roll. These has fixed incomes and has to serve Kanye. While Kanye is making a fool of himself and just showing his ignorance.

We can just wonder if this sort of outbursts and ideals is resonating with the Republican voters of 2024. If Kanye is in the primary and even trying to conquer from with right. Since his aligning himself on the Alt-Right and wants to defend the insurrectionists. That’s why you know his aiming for the MAGA and the ones there. Which happens to be the base and the ones who has been loyal to Trump.

God knows how this will play out. I didn’t see this happening on my timeline. The 2020 campaign should have been a signal of a wasted candidacy. Kanye has no knowledge or idea of what the office entails. His a self-proclaimed genius who cannot even stomach criticism. Not even the slightest. Ye is a big snowflake himself… that is evident.

If he believes this and thinks this is wise. Well, sooner or later the world will crash around him. He will not only be condemn among the peers. Kanye will also empty his treasure-chest and all the avenues he still has. He has already lost a lot and could easily loose more. His reputation is in tatters and people are struggling to separate the artist from the art. When that happens… you know the game is up!

His now a glorified Clayton Bigsby and I wonder if his proud of it. Certainly, this man said once that George W. Bush “don’t like black people”. Now, he aligns himself with people who believes the white is the superior race and are blatantly racists. That’s his crowd now…

Maybe, Kanye even was signalling back in 2013 on “Black Skinhead” when he had a line saying: “Stop all that coon shit (Black)”. I don’t know, but his messaging and his visions of late… is more self destructive and into territories, which is self-hatred. That’s how it seems… as his going down this path. There is no return back now. Those bridges are burned… and this is far worse than wearing the red cap and visiting Trump at Trump Tower. No, this is another ball-game and his playing in a field he has no control over.

Ye will not get the favourable spin, but that will only happen in smaller fringe circles and not among the masses. He is certainly not among the peers he came into the music industry with. Neither with the supporters or the ones who bought into his character early on. Many of these has left him. Me included. This is far from who he was and the messages he spoke of back-then.

It is just tragic man, but we got a “Clayton Bigsby” running for Presidency in 2024. Peace.

Opinion: Kanye’s “Empire” is fading quickly

Aftermath of Kanye West’s antisemitic comments:

Adidas cut ties

Balenciaga cut ties

Vogue and Anna Wintour cut ties

Dropped by talent agency, CAA

Dropped by lawyer

Streams, sales & airplay plummeted

Restricted from Instagram & Twitter

Stadium shows cancelled

Documentary shelved” (Pop Crave, 25.10.2022).

Kanye Omari West aka Kanye West aka Ye has created a storm surrounding himself. No one should feel sorry for him. In addition to the mentioned companies ceasing operations or agreements with Ye. There is the end of GOOD Music imprint under the Island Def Jam umbrella. Also, that JP Morgan also stopped having him as a customer and banking services. Meaning the statements and the words of Ye matter. Because, it wouldn’t have this effect, if the words was substantiated.

The hip hop mogul and fashion(ista) has now fallen short. His “empire” is now in the wind. He has gone from beloved and entrusted with collaboration with famous brands. Being tied to companies oozing of prestige and elegance. Now his just another bloke who has fallen short.

When Charlamagne The God (CTG) starts calling you “K-K-Kanye” you know the gig is up. This is just proving that Anti-Semitism isn’t a selling factor or a train-of-thought that is valuable. Maybe in the 4Chan and the sphere of Parler, which Kanye is soon entering. Though, it will haemorrhaging money, if he gets the transaction and get to takeover the social media site now.

This is the fall of grace, the Clayton Bigsby of the Dave Chappelle Universe or Uncle Ruckus of the Boondocks. Both characters could be played by Kanye in the recent time. That is not satire or even a joke, but a reality we live in.

It all started with a white-supremacist talking point, the “White Lives Matters” shirts at a fashion show. This continued with more outrageous talk on Tucker Carlson, Drink Champs podcast and beyond that. The ones entertaining this now… is just falling in a trap and the click-baiting is doing no good.

K-K-Kanye” is tainted goods now. That’s why everything he has touched is falling out of grace. This is the opposite Midas Touch. The things he touches isn’t becoming gold, but going in the garbage. He haven’t only fallen off, but getting seriously “cancelled”.

There is a point of no return. There is an ending of all of this. His becoming a villain of his own story. That’s not for the betterment of society or even spread enlightenment. No, this isn’t done shine a light or be a beacon of hope. His just falling into a trap of failure and doing it deliberately. This cannot sell shoes, T-Shirts or CDs for that matter. People are even boycotting and stopping playing his songs on streaming services.

Right here his showing not to be a genius, but high on his own supply. A man lost in the bargain of validation and need for acceptance in a new political sphere. His not caring about the suffering or the plights of others. He just want to be the golden boy and the greatness of the MAGA crowds and the 4Chan community. That’s where his heading and Donald J. Trump is writing similar messages on his Truth Social. They are aligned in their bigotry, white-supremacist talking points and their rhetoric. Which is striking, but the sad reality in 2022.

A man that spoke of the plights of others and even blamed George W. Bush after Hurricane Katrina and the destruction of New Orleans. Now, his the Clayton Bigsby and the Uncle Ruckus in the flesh. He is the living and breathing example of these now. That’s who “K-K-Kanye” has become. That’s what he has become, it is not smart, not wise or beautiful. It isn’t even a dark twisted fantasy, it is a tragic ending to a man who could have continued to inspire and used his platform for good. Instead he chose a path, which is only more self-destruction and being a voice of infringed white-supremacists. That’s the verdict today. Tomorrow it might be different, but there is nothing good coming out of this.

K-K-Kanye” will act like a victim and a martyr. He will continue to spew the hatred and the rhetoric which brought him here. However, it will do him no good. Neither will it help his cause. His just showing us his character and what he has become. A man who has fallen and who don’t mind undermining his legacy…. Peace.

Opinion: Kanye is too far gone…

We’ve dealt with bigger problems than these stupidities” (…) “But, you know, the communists blame the Jews for being capitalists, the capitalists blame the Jews for being communists” (…) “You have a problem, blame the Jews. It’s old stuff. It shouldn’t have any place in civilised discourse” – Benjamin Netanyahu (Interview on Bill Maher’s HBO Show, 14.10.2022).

The recent Drink Champs Interview with Kanye Omari West aka Ye aka Yeezy has shown me that his a lost one. Certainly, his just showing his tropes, ignorance and lack of concern to his rhetoric in concern to the Jews. Just like speaking about them this wouldn’t be right to do about African-Americans or anyone else. It is just showing his character and how blissfully unaware he is.

In the end, it isn’t like Kanye needs me or my support. I used to listen his to music and bought several of his CDs. The last one of the trilogy was the Graduation. The three first LPs are mind-blowing and relevant to this day. That showed his craft together with the beats he produced for others like Jay-Z and The Game to mention a few. It isn’t like Kanye doesn’t have qualities and has delivered a proper body of work. Yes, he has and his a billionaire for a reason.

However, this isn’t about his musical abilities, his way of being able to monetize his fandom and create products like shoes or clothing-line. In those fields he has succeeded and been able to sell overpriced white-tees for that matter. That’s a “win” and he can be commended for that. Nevertheless, I will not sing for the choir.

The tweet that got him banned on Twitter was justified. He continued and pursuit it further on Drink Champs. The little snippets of the Tucker Carlson interview wasn’t making things better either. Both these interviews only shows how his using ancient conspiracies and rhetoric against the Jews. Therefore, his not making things better, but worse actually.

If you want to self-inflict wounds and later call yourself a victim, be my guest, but that’s a work of fool and not of a brilliant man. Neither was Ye or Kanye speaking of profound truths at the Drink Champs. His rambling and pinning the Jews onto everything. That’s not new in history or rhetoric, which we haven’t heard before. That’s why it was easy for the former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Kanye is actually becoming a “Clayton Bigsby” character of sorts. The mannerism and the way he speaks. He could just be the fictional character in real life. It is tragic that the character made by Dave Chappelle can be pinned on Kanye in 2022. However, this is where we are and obviously Kanye is a lost one.

He don’t need my support or any anything from me. His a billionaire and will live large for the rest of his life. The recent controversies will not matter to him in the long-run. He has had moments like in the past and later released new content. We should expect something similar in the future too. Nevertheless, it’s becoming tiring and there is no redeeming factors.

No doubt he will have supporters and people buying into the enigma called “Ye” but, the reality still remains, that he has lost a lot of fans and former listeners by his outbursts or problematic takes. That’s why his not so regarded is certain circles. I also have an issue when a person like him wants to enlighten people, when his proud of never reading books. If he wants a true deeper understanding of a topic or a historical fact. That’s the way to go and he should know better, but his ego is to big to do so. Peace.

Opinion: DJ Akademiks is a fool for this one

Let these words be the last to my unborn seeds

Hope to raise my young nation in this world of greed

Currency means nothin’ if you still ain’t free

Money breeds jealousy, take the game from me” – 2Pac – ‘Hold Ya Head’ 1996

Sometimes it is like the current generation thinks they are better than the previous ones. There are all these metrics and these sorts games to scale it. While not acknowledging the founders, the ones that built it and the ones that made it possible for others. There are very few that legends and a part of the legacy of an art-form. However, those that are should be respected, acknowledged and given credit too. Not being dismissed, disregarded or mocked. It isn’t like they didn’t do anything. If they didn’t grab the micks in the park or listen to DJ Kool Herc. Some of the current recording artists, producers or DJs wouldn’t have a place to perform to begin with.

Just reading these words from Livingstone Allen aka DJ Akademics. The YouTuber, Hip Hop Influencer and Hip Hop News caster in his own right. Has carved his own niche and platform on Twitch and YouTube. As he has reported and been part of the culture for a “long” time now. However, these words are disrespectful.

DJ Akademiks is in hot water after some of his comments about hip-hop’s pioneers. While live on Twitch, Akademiks referred to the legendary rappers as ‘dusty,’ He says, “them old rappers, man. Have you seen any of these old rappers who be like, yo, they’re the foundation of Hip Hop really living good?” he said. “Them n****s be looking really dusty, I kid you not. And none of y’all try to come for me ’cause I don’t f**k with y’all n****s either, so I’m just telling y’all the truth. Every time there be like an old, old n***a talking about Hip Hop, you be like, ‘Yo, bro. You sure you invented this? ‘Cause everybody else is looking better than you.’ Facts!”” (HOT 97 – ‘DJ AKADEMIKS TRENDS AFTER HE CALLS HIP HOP PIONEERS ‘DUSTY’, LL COOL J RESPONDS’ 22.09.2022).

There has always been competition between the “old” and the “new”. There has been that since the beginning of the art-form. That’s why Kool Moe Dee battled Busy Bee at Harlem World. That’s why Nelly challenged KRS-One. We can go on-and-on about these sorts of beefs, battles and their significant values to the culture. They are all a part of Hip Hop and wouldn’t have happened. If it wasn’t a time or change of the spectrum of it.

Kool Moe Dee challenged the then “old-school” party-MC scene and went in more lyrical. Just like that things has changed the art. There are people like Red Alert, DJ Kay Slay and others who has furthered the culture. It is plenty more and should be dozens of books telling the stories of the recordings of Sugarhill Gang. The rise of Def Jam and how other record labels became a thing. Just like producers who has changed the sounds, making regional differences and even unique beats to bring a certain type of heat. All of them hasn’t been appreciated, but their time and energy should be acknowledged.

Everyone won’t know Coke La Roc, neither will everyone know who Marley Marl is. Nevertheless, these has had a say and did significant things in this here game. More people might know about MC Shan or others who hit the charts at one point. Though everyone who participated and dropped their verses on wax has made a difference. It is a reason why the old-heads at one point wasn’t nodding along to the one-note-whacky fruityloopes beats. That was because it wasn’t boom-bap and the “golden era sound”. Everything has it’s moment and sudden a fad hits. However, the art and the music will move to the next.

That’s where DJ Akademiks forgets a simple fact. The real old-school wasn’t getting labels, signed by big corporate record companies. No, they were on the trenches and performed at clubs. Certain ones never hit the charts or ever became well-known personalities. Still, their performances and their flows inspired others who in the end did. If they didn’t perform and made entertainment. Others wouldn’t have emulated or created their own path.

Just like there are plenty of legends and heroes I haven’t mentioned. Neither has I have even touched the surface. It is just the loss of ideals and deeper understanding of it. DJ Akademiks is just disrespectful. That is the general assumption I have. It’s like he doesn’t value the people before him and the ones that has made it possible. Someone had to be there before and open up the gates. At one point… no one would believe this sort of art-form would ever go outside New York. Now it’s world-wide and even the K-Pop group Blackpink has a rapper as a part of their group. So, it’s not like they didn’t change or make a difference.

What the predecessors did was to open an avenue. Use their creativity in all parts of the culture. They embraced it and showed a way. Some prospered as lyricists, others as producers, others as graffiti-artists and others as breakdancers. They all played their parts. Calling them dusty in 2022 is just wrong.

I don’t expect everyone to go back in time and check up the early recordings. Neither does everyone look up to or see into the work of the predecessors even. Nevertheless, to just speak so ill of them and not give any sort of credit. That’s just wrong by all accounts. DJ Akademiks wouldn’t have a platform or place to speak off. If it wasn’t for the culture and how it has progressed. That’s because of others before him and who also did speak on the matter.

DJ AK has clearly a jaded vision and is only about the currency. His only about the coins and fat bank-accounts. However, some of the people before him will forever be respected. Their achievements and their participation will be reflected with time. They don’t need to be in a “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” or a Star on the pavement in Hollywood. No, their craft, their flow, beats or whatever will be part of it to this day.

Everything isn’t about the money. Money doesn’t change everything and it doesn’t make everything better even. That’s why still the rawest and most consistent parts of hip-hop is the underground and their releases outside the main-stream production. This is still where you can find the purest and the hardest bars. Therefore, DJ Akademiks forget a vital part of the industry and the culture itself. Everything isn’t for the Billbords or Nielsen Soundscan. Some parts are for the streets, the “RapGodFathers” and WorldStarHipHop. There are so many avenues and means to an end.

That’s why DJ Akademiks needs to re-assess his stance. I know he will be defiant. Nevertheless, he should be a bit more humble. Who says his name will forever ring or be relevant? Who couldn’t do his job or stream Hip Hop related content on Twitch/YouTube or have a Podcast on Spotify? Not like his the only one. Jay Smooth should have even a bigger platform than him on the sense of quality and resounding arguments on current topics. However, we cannot expect that in the current time. Because the loudmouth is getting more eyes and clicks, not the wits or the wise.

This is why I even had to write this to get a piece of mind. Peace.

Opinion: Joe Budden is self-destructive …

What is tragic here is that someone as talent and bright as Joe Budden has a tendency to destroy everything around him. It is just his Modus Operandi. The rapper, entrepreneur and commentator has amassed huge potential. However, the ability to sustain and build long-working relationships a hard task for the man.

Joe Budden wants to keep things a 100. He wants to be real and speak from the heart. Nevertheless, he breaks things down and dips when he has to put the work-in. If that is a Second Slaughterhouse album on Shady Records. If it continuing his popularity after “Pump It Up” or anything else.

Heck, Joe has destroyed Revolt TV “State of the Culture” a deal he signed with P. Diddy. The same man was a vital figure in the rise of the YouTube sensation and cultural force within Complex own “Everyday Struggle”. It is just like he enjoys to see it rise and when it does. He wants a big cut of the profits and if he doesn’t he jumps ship. Instead of negotiating and making sense of things. He just bails out and hope other people picks up the pieces.

Just like it was with his solo career as well. Where he went from Def Jam. By some luck and wit was able to make it from one song to mixtape into a independent album with Slaughterhouse. Before signing with Interscope/Shady Records and drop another mixtape and the sophomore album there. However, in the end destroy the opportunity to drop the second on that label and the their third of the all star group.

Joe was able to drop another 3 albums independently after this. Before switching over to become a commentator and a podcaster. That is why he has participated in so many different ones. Before, he started his own and kept that going.

The Joe Budden Podcast have lasted since 2015 now. It is a long run and his side-kicks has been stable with there. Rory was there from the beginning, but Mal joined it in 2016. So they have all history there. Now, they have dipped and the first week without them at the latest edition of it.

It just seems like all the other enterprises of Joe he just have to burn this one as well. Joe just cannot help himself. Now, that things are established and gotten to a aspect of cultural phenomenon. He just got to dip again. Make it all about him and let the others fly solo. Just like when things was going good at Revolt. He just had to pull a stunt. The same over at Complex. It is just the gift of Joe. He just can’t help himself.

Joe now got the Joe Budden Network and is working on various projects there. How long will these relationship lasts and how far will he take it? When his dropping to sign with Spotify and others. Just like he did with “State of the Culture”. That is just what he does… He even sort of made the “Everyday Struggle” fallout much more hectic and significant than it needed to be. That is why there will always be something weird between him and DJ Akademiks.

Joe Budden is his worst enemy… Joe don’t need to fight anyone else than his own self. He can self-destruct and deplete all things he has made. When things turn shiny and golden he just gets greedy. Instead of waiting for his turn and ensure the gravy-train is moving. No, he wants a quick buck and a pay-off on the expense of others. That is how it seems.

Just like he doesn’t understand that the Shady Records had to re-coup and get profits, which as non-existent with the investments made in the production of the album and the roll-out there. He expected quick money from that too. Even as Eminem lost money on their album. The only way he could have made money, as stated in reports was if the group released the second on Shady or their third group projects, which has never happened to this day. That is unfortunate because the group had massive star-power and was assembled with lyrical wordsmiths. Who could have shown their greatness, but that was thwarted with the ego of Joe for instance.

Therefore, the “strike” of Mal and Rory isn’t something new in the life of Joe. No, it is just too common and sort of what he does. When he builds up something… he just got to destroy it. That is his gift. Instead of prolonging or trying to make something last. To even have longevity or a legacy he rather smash it quickly. That is what is so tragic.

Joe has had the option to make big cultural phenomenons lasts on other platforms. However, his ego and personality have gotten in his way. It is as if it is never enough. He wants more out of it and doesn’t get his way.

I have followed him on these platforms, seen the shows, listened to the podcasts, but I am tired of his mess. That he cannot get his ducks in a row and be solid. That for a man who wants to keep a 100. He surely take a sledgehammer and hits the fine china into a million pieces. The he expects someone else to clean up his mess. It is just tiring.

Especially, when the brother has such talent and skills. To just waste it and give the world all this negativity. That is really it. Joe Budden could be better and have significant more to give. However, he is his own worst enemy. This man doesn’t need a nemesis… because he can just look at his own shadow and in the mirror.

It’s a lot of things he could’a, would’a and should’a, but at this point. He should hang up the mic and just talk frank to his peers. Joe should resolve this and patch the hurt. Unless, he wants to destroy this too. Just to prove a point. The Joe Budden Podcast is the trio with him, Mal and Rory. The balance each other and makes it worthwhile. Instead, he wants to be the man on the pedestal and adore his greatness. However, that is not happening.

Joe, if you were that great in the first place. You wouldn’t need the team around you. Just like you couldn’t manage to break it solo. You needed Slaughterhouse to reaffirm yourself publicly. I think that this is forgotten and knowledge he doesn’t want to be reminded about. Because, who was really awaiting a mixtape and solo album of Joe in the 2000s? Not so many, right?

That’s the truth and just like that it’s now too. He has a name and a platform. Nevertheless, his not the sole reason why people are tuning in and he shouldn’t forget that. Joe is Joe, but now Joe got to stop. Unless, he wants to destroy this one too. Just like he did with the others in the past. Peace.

Opinion: Kanye is an “independent” Republican candidate…

And I’ll never let my son have an ego

He’ll be nice to everyone, wherever we go

I mean, I might even make him be Republican

So everybody know he love white people” Kanye West on ‘New Day’ (2011)

If you thought 2020 couldn’t be more insane. Where the White House wouldn’t use all tricks to win in November. They are now Using Kanye Omari West aka Kanye West. The shoe-selling, clothing-brand, music mogul and artist are now Republican operative.

White House Innovation Director Jared Kushner, the Son-In-Law had a secret meeting with Kanye West in Colorado. This is similar to the secretive meeting the Trump Campaign had with Russian operatives ahead of the 2016 elections. Again, this has been revealed. While there is more to this too.

There are Republican lawyers working on overtime to secure the West ticket on the most states as possible with fraudulent signatures. Where they have to petition the local authorities and sue to get-in. The Kanye West candidacy is already late in some states, but they hope to get him on the ticket n swing-states to siphon votes.

They hope Kanye can eat the Jill Stein votes and Gary Johnson of 2016. So, that they are taking just enough votes from the Democratic ticket. Even if Kanye has been selling himself as a MAGA lover, a Trump supporter and a Conservative.

We know all of this. He has been crying on stage, held a weird campaign rally and still pushing this through. Republican backers and even secret meeting with White House Officials like Jared Kushner. Kanye even said they talked every day. That is insane.

If there ever was co-ordination between a third party candidate and Republican party. They are in a way fielding a third party without using the ticket of its own. Because, the Republican can only field one Presidential Candidate. That is why Kanye is a tin-soldier, a puppet to create a circus and theatre for the public.

Kanye must be a proud millionaire. Who are willingly to be used and possibly do illegal activity through his campaign. Using his platform, his name and his position to weaken opposition Joe Biden. Even if your not a fan of Biden. Would you feel okay, if the Biden and the Democratic Party had issued another third party candidate to weaken Trump? Sending a David Duke or another dog-whistle just to tease and play for the guards to duck into the base of Trump.

Kanye might like the publicity. This is making headlines and he doesn’t have to use money to issue an LP or a single. However, his trading away his legacy and what he came into the early stages of career. Instead of known for quality epic beats, his now known for being a Republican operative shielding as a “independent”. How biased and dumb isn’t that?

We know his a Kardashian by marriage. The new Kanye isn’t that stable. Some are worried about his mental state. However, what should worry about is when the truth of all the things done behind closed doors are released. When everyone involved in the campaign and the co-operation between the White House and Kanye. The world can see how he was a tool and a pawn for the Donald. That is what value he has for them.

Kanye might see this a ego boost. However, his being used and the Republicans are doing this waste votes. They don’t care about Kanye or what he stands for. His the nail in a coffin for them. It is tragic that he will use his space for this, instead of all the positive things he could have achieved with his platform, popularity and wealth.

Kanye, how do you like do be used?

Kanye, how to you like to be a means to a greater purpose, which isn’t your own?

Kanye, how do you enjoy the spoils of being a tin-solider?

Last question:

Kanye you said once “Bush doesn’t care about black people”, do you think Trump cares about you?

Nah, he don’t and he doesn’t care about black people either. So, its beautiful that your being used by the people, who you used to despised in the past… Peace.

Opinion: Kanye is a non-starter

Kanye Omari West or Kanye West is not the sort of fella I expected to see in a Presidential race. Not to mock him or anything. Barrack Obama called him a “jack-ass” and that’s for a reason. The man is so self-centred, that the world doesn’t move along its own axis, but in his mind around his feet. That is the sort of person, Mr. West is.

So, on the 4th July, the Independence Day he launched his candidacy. The Federal Election Commission has nothing registered on him. Unless, he is using the “Kanye Deez Nuts West” for who is running for the Green Party. His by the way involved in the Kanye WestPac, which is run by treasurer Jeffrey Graham, based in Longmont, Colorado. A PAC created for the single candidature of Kanye West. That was registered the 31st August 2015. That have been planned for a while. The only documentation in that the PAC didn’t deliver it failed to fill in reports to the FEC in 2015 and 2016. Who knows, if the musician is thinking of reviving this WESTPAC.

With this in mind, the rapper haven’t prepared the paperwork or his legal team on the move of becoming a President in the Republic. The election is in November and surely some states his to late to register his candidacy. The man has no previous history as an elected official, and the US should consider electing that sort of fella twice.

The GOOD Music Mogul, the Kardashian in-law and whatever else his trading. Surely has a lot up his sleeve. No matter what he does now. Its a Molotov cocktail into the elections. It seems more like Kid Rock statement, who in 2018 wanted to run for the Senate as the Michigan Senator. However, that never happened.

If this was a publicity stunt, it would make sense. The man cannot shock the world with outrageous statements anymore. He has used the dictionary and showed his ignorance. Secondly, the man haven’t been political consistent, unless its his own self interest. He is one of the President’s Men and one of the proud supporters of Trump. Therefore, this is speculated to be ploy too.

No one really knows. We cannot know. It is not like the man is that stable. One minute his Yeezus, the next his Yandi and in a later edition his just Ye’. So, God’s know where his mind is and why he operates like this.

When you thought the Stormy Daniels scandal before the 2016 election was off the chains. This is more of the same. This man isn’t ready or have the ability to be a Presidential Candidate. There been plenty of drop-outs in the Democratic Party Race who would be more fit in a heart-beat. However, Mr. West can get his handlers to run his clothing-line, recording company and whatnot. But running the Republic?

How much more Circus does the United States need? Haven’t there been enough jokes and insincere reign the last 4 years with a reality-star named Trump?

West will only become a laughing-stock. He will not win. As an independent candidate in the cross-fire with the Libertarian Party, Green Party, Democratic Party and Republican Party. He will be the fifth wheel. Not that the two first parties has any chance too. It is a Biden versus Trump race by all means.

West is just a odd-ball and a wrecking-ball. If he stands, in the states he can still register. He will only be a punchline. He will not even drop a feature of 16 bars. Peace.

You don’t won’t it with Push!

“How could you ever right these wrongs/ When you don’t even write your songs?/ But let us all play along/ We all know what niggas for real been waitin’ on/ Push”Pusha T on Infared (Daytona, 2018)

Man, this rap battle between Drake and Pusha T has shown more character and flair on wax, than in years. It is like revival of character and of disses. The down low and nice talk is over. Pusha T from the Clipse is showing class and higher altitude than the most. He is not afraid to go against Drake, the Cash Money, Young Money rapper, who’s been on top of the game for the last few years.

People and commentators was saying, waiting for a response after the Duppy Freestyle, that Pusha was over with and that Drake had won the thing. However, with the latest track, certainly Drake has to come with something really profound and deep. Not to be upset, but really angry. He has to show a vicious side he hasn’t shown before. And that is not him, Drake is a soft and mellow character, who bitch about woman who doesn’t text quickly enough. Drake isn’t a gangster or a hard-core persona. That isn’t him and he should live with that, just like Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is doing. It is okay, but don’t try to front on someone like Pusha, he will call you out and he did on ‘The Story of Adidon’.

“I really shouldn’t have given you none of my time/’Cause you older than the nigga you runnin’ behind/Look, holla at me when you multi-million/I told you keep playin’ with my name and I’ma let it ring on you/Like Virginia Williams”Drake on ‘Duppy Freestyle’ (2018)

That the ‘Duppy Freestyle’ was a positive response to the ‘Infrared’ from the Daytona LP. However, Drake has to come something more unique and show other tools to take down the recent track. As the revelations and the stories are so shoddy, that the meekest turns into their dark-side.

Pusha T has the upper-hand, he has shown even with waiting for three days, that he could answer Drake. It was seemingly like the battles between Nelly and KRS-One, that the one with the biggest machinery would win, in this instance Drake, as he has the Cash Money and the giant fan-base compared to Pusha T and Good Music. However, now it seems like a open playing field. As the exposure and the title is exposing a naked truth that Drake doesn’t want out or has tried to hide. That is really going all out, but that was in response of mocking Pusha T’s fiancé. Clearly, that backfired. Backfired with all cylinders.

Because now you see the significant difference between them, as Pusha goes directly at Drake, he is not attacking Birdman or Lil Wayne, which is still done in passing. As the knowledge of the messed up practices between the artists and the label is well documented at this point. That is why Birdman has to answer all the litigations and the label-mates leaving because of the practices done there.

“We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts/You are hiding a child, let that boy come home/Deadbeat mothafucka, playin’ border patrol, ooh/Adonis is your son/And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real/Love that baby, respect that girl/Forget she’s a pornstar, let her be your world, yuugh!”Pusha T on ‘Story of Adidon’ (2018).

Pusha T answered it all and fired back. This will hard to come back from and answer too. As the reality is the exposure and stories told on Adidon is showing a character side of Drake, that isn’t the heartthrob, but a dead-beat-dad and in this day and age. That is not a good look. It has never been a good look, especially when your supposed to be as wealthy and successful as Drake. That he cannot spend his time with his kid and acknowledge his seed. That is really hurting the pride of Drake and his camp should feel it. But that is because he mocked Pusha for being engaged to someone, like that was a bad thing. By the way, I don’t get why that is bad.

After this sort of affair, what did really ‘Duppy’ have? Right? Not much, other than hype, just like if you would read the bar for bar fight between KRS and Nelly from the early 2000s. It would feel like repeat. What Drake should have known, that Pusha will go all out and not stop at anything. He is no Meek Mill, he is a pure lyricists and that has been known for a long-long time. Proven by the recent joints.

So if he fires back, he has to go deep into the tool shed and really light a fire, but will Drake have it? I don’t know, but to go as hard as this, then your really digging deep. Sort of like Jay Z on ‘Super Ugly’ where he did say:

“Me and the boy A.I. got more in common than just balling and rhyming/Get it? More in Carmen/I came in your Bentley backseat, skeeted in your Jeep/Left condoms on your baby seat”Jay Z on ‘Super Ugly’ (December 2001).

That is the next level for Drake. However, will he go there and does he dare to go there? Because that is the next step, that is the upgrade from Duppy and to be able to counter Pusha at this point. Peace.

Ye’ is now a lost-one: Gone Full-MAGA, Co-Signing Trump on a song!

And I’ll never let my son have an ego

He’ll be nice to everyone, wherever we go

I mean I might even make him be Republican

So everybody know he love white people” – Kanye West from the ‘New Day’ off the ‘Watch the Throne’ (Released in 2011).

I really didn’t want to comment on Kanye West, because what is there to say. He swallowed the “red-pill” and taken it so hard. It is hard to say anything else. If it is marketing scheme or pure love of Republican values? Who knows at this point?

I do not know about his brotherly love, I knew he met with Donald Trump on the 13th December 2016 and has continued from there. Who knows what really went down, as he has since then collected memorabilia and become brothers. Whatever that means for Trump who always needs some loyal snooze-buttons to further his agenda. As long as they steal the spotlight or not praising the President’s massive ego. Because that hurts him and then he will throw that person under the bus. Right now Ye is on the Trump-Train. For whatever reason that might be.

However, it is hard to make sense out of it, I had a feeling when he returned to Twitter, and was poetical and trying to mystic. That he had some sort of marketing plan behind it. Not like he would drop a project without any sort of foreplay. That wouldn’t be Ye. He needs the whole machine behind him, the orchestras and the whole company delivering the needs to played on every radio, be on the screens and be in talks of the town.

Now he steering into controversy. That must be because the beat he created to the recent song with T.I. sucked. The beat was boring and pale. It will not turn into fine wine, let me tell you that. It was neither soul or the beats we recognized from the past. Maybe it general laziness or that the controversy supposed to overshadow the quality of the song.

When Ye drops line like this on the ‘Ye Versus the People’, which was released yesterday:

I feel a obligation to show people new ideas

And if you wanna hear ’em, there go two right here

Make America Great Again had a negative reception

I took it, wore it, rocked it, gave it a new direction

Added empathy, care and love and affection

And y’all simply questionin’ my methods” – Kanye West (Ye Versus the People, 27.04.2018).

It is hard to hear these bars, these lines and take it as nothing. Because the man in the past didn’t sound like this. We all change, like I have had a personal political journey with life. But I have my reasons for my changes. Its been from a liberal to more socialist view, because of the visions of benefits for society. I wonder what is his reasoning for rocking it? What did he do, other than the meeting? Did he say to Trump to hire Ben Carson for having a brother inside the Cabinet? Because there aren’t any or much positive political policies for Ye’ kind or African-American Community, either less and harder policies hurting these communities. If it is immigration wise or if it economical. These communities are hit hard, also the suspension of government funded programs and so-on. There aren’t much or anything Trump has done to make better for Ye.

Therefore, I have to take some bars from College Drop-Out that was released on 2004:

Now niggas can’t make it to ballots to choose leadership

But we can make it to Jacob’s and to the dealership

That’s why I hear new music and I just don’t be feelin’ it

Racism’s still alive, they just be concealin’ it” – Kanye West (Never Let Me Down from the College Drop-Out, Released 10.02.2004).

It’s hard to hear the same man praising Trump and his agenda. A man that has no scruples to misuse White Supremacy, Anti-Immigration Slogans and let the state misuse ICE-Agents against own citizens. To get the support and Co-Sign from Ye. That is not easy, that is hard. Especially, when Ye used spit like this. It is hard and weird. No matter what reasons, it is hard. He has changed and Trump gave him a reason to do so, I guess. But at this point in time, the Republican’s are concealing their racism. They are doing it with the Dreamers, Muslim-Ban and everything else they can hit on minorities.

Therefore, it is weird to have Ye on this side of the political spectrum. It is like he is blind, because the President is praising him for his efforts. Taking a cup of tea in the Twinkle Tower in Manhattan and sipping the Kool-Aid. Who knows, but is not intelligent.

Even some bars from the Late Registration:

Went from bein’ a broke man to bein’ a dopeman

To bein’ the President, look there’s hope man

This that inspiration for the Moes and the Folks man

Shorty come and see his momma straight overdosin’” – Kanye West (Crack Music from the Late Registration, 30.08.2005).

I don’t know if he plans to drop inspirational bars like in the future, because he switched to Luxury Rap and self-involved material long time ago. Just like Lil Wayne has to spit about Codein, Sex and Haters. That is just the game for these guys. However, there has been a social conscious side of Ye’, it is still there, but a dramatic shift in topics and defense.

See that’s the problem with this damn nation

All Blacks gotta be Democrats, man, we ain’t made it off the plantation” – Kanye West (Ye Versus the People, 27.04.2018).

It is the narrative that has shifted, the defense of his acts now. Instead of being social conscious, he is now taking a very ordinary defense of Trump. It is like if we don’t like him, we have to be democrats. But that hasn’t been the direct issue, if it was the older conservative party, it would still have cracks, but it would have made more sense. That is why Powell and Rice was in the Bush administration. An Administration Ye’ spoke ill about, which did far less damage to the African-Community, than the current one. Even if the Bush Administration didn’t care much, they didn’t stop vital programs for the inner-cities and the poorest communities, in the same fashion as Trump. So the issues are really something significantly changed within the artist and person, Kanye West. Which wasn’t there in the past.

He is not the guy I used to listen too. Ye is gone full-MAGA. He will soon have talks directly with Tomi Lahren, be on Diamond & Silk, Hannity and whatever else craziness. Maybe even be on Fox & Friends and also InfoWars. Because why not? The hat shouldn’t be enough. If that is all, then it was easy treat from the President, instead of giving Ye something good for the time and energy. He is giving low-cost attribution for the Co-Sign and only one losing Ye. A fair trade for the President, indeed.

That is a victory for Trump in all of this, he get a Co-Sign and it cost him nothing. Not even 130k pay-off. Just barely minimum and a signature. Better then the rip-offs of Trump University. Ye took and shake his hand, thought he was brilliant and moved to become a supporter. If so. Kudos Ye, your not as socially conscious as I thought you were, your spirit wasn’t as enlighten as I thought. Because, the possibility of getting caught in the world-wind took you and now, you were let astray. Peace.

What do Jay Z and President Museveni have in common? They don’t want to retire!

Jay Z Fade to Black

Yet again, I go all in. This is another one and not a DJ Khaled comment. This here is similarities between people or characters that usually are not in the same league. Here I am showing fist how Jay Z talked about retiring and then backing down a dropping a project or LP. This is a proof of that the gimmicks or promotional tools that we’re from the Def Jam and Roca-Fella Co-Founder and now millionaire artist.

It is these days that I am tired of the President Museveni and his system who just uses the state funds and institutions for own wealth than creating and developing society. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who has promised since taking the office with a brutal civil war in 1980s said he would step down. At each point, he has backtracked and given in. That means he has seeking more time in power and used more excuses to empower himself. Always if the Party wants him

2003 Jay Z after the ‘The Black Album’:

“It’s not like it was with Big and Pac” (…) “Hip-hop’s corny now” (…) “There’ll be no more full-length Jay-Z albums. I might do a soundtrack in a year or two. Maybe a collaboration. But only after a year. I want to let it alone for at least a year” (…) “Well, like Jordan said, ‘I’ve got to leave myself a window” (…) “If people take it back to when we were making hot albums and I’m just totally inspired and I’m like, I want in, then that could happen. But I don’t foresee it” (Toure, 2003).

2005 Jay Z Q&A in the XXL Magazine:

“Just from making albums. I still make songs. It bugs me when people say, “I thought you was retired.” I clearly said—and I also said that I’m human. So maybe one day if I’m on the corner and it’s calling me—I don’t wanna just box myself in where I can’t make another album—I’ll do it anyway. But it bothers me when people say, “I thought you was retired,” if I make a song or if I do a verse on somebody’s joint. I never said I wasn’t making anymore music. I should’ve shut up. That’s what I should’ve did. Me and my big mouth” (Bry, 2005).

2006 Jay Z with the ‘The Kingdom Come’:

“the worst retirement in history” (…) “”I believed it, yeah. I believed it for two years” (…) “Something, when you love it, is always tugging at you and itching, and I was putting it off and putting it off. I started fumbling around to see if it felt good” (…) “If I wake up one day and the best material has passed me by — and that’s going to happen, then it’s time to move on. I’ve said what I wanted to say” (CBC Arts, 2006).

2007 Jay Z with the ‘American Gangster’:

“LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19 — Jay-Z, the rap superstar and president of Def Jam Records, has quietly returned to the studio to record an album of new songs inspired by the forthcoming movie “American Gangster,” his first “concept” album and second CD in less than a year” (Halbfinger & Leeds, 2007).

And we know that Jay Z has released albums ever since and also features. So it is not like he ever retired only talked about it. The big bang with ‘The Black Album’ we’re just a fade that didn’t really go into Black as the artist went back into studio time and time again. Let’s take a look at President Museveni and his long time stay in the role of Executive.

Daily Monitor 1993

Museveni in 2002:

“When he took power in 1986, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni said he considered the idea of a Head of State clinging to office for “15 or more” years ill-advised. Although it is now 16 years since Museveni made this statement he is still comfortably lolling in office and has just embarked on his 17th year as Uganda’s Head of State. In last year’s filthy elections that he won by 69 per cent of the votes cast, Museveni took a high moral ground by claiming that had his votes not been stolen he could have garnered more than 75 per cent. However, his supporters were contented with 69 per cent, which they interpreted as a resounding endorsement for Museveni to rule for life” (…) “In his usual idiosyncratic meddling way and new role as Africa’s peacemaker, elder statesman and continental unifier, Col. Muammar Gadhafi, while attending Museveni’s inauguration, urged him to be a perpetual leader. While addressing a national conference of Museveni’s ruling National Resistance Movement on May 11, 2001, he urged Ugandans to allow Museveni to rule for “as long as possible.” “Revolutionary leaders should not have expiry dates, like tinned drinks. My brother Museveni was born a revolutionary. He should continue for as long as he has the ability to do so,” Gadhafi said. Despite this enormous pressure to rule forever, Museveni had the gall to promise, yet again, that he would not contest again after his new mandate expires. Determining the truth of this statement might not need the services of a clairvoyant” (Okumu, 2002).

Musveni in 2005:

“Mr Museveni, 62, said he was sure of victory at the election. He thanked MPs who voted overwhelmingly this year to scrap a presidential time limit that would have required him to step down. “That provision was not wise at all, because the problems Africa faces are not always time-bound,” he said” (Vasagar, 2005).

Museveni in 2006:

“I need the power of the state to solve the problems of our people” (…) “I don’t need power to live, by the way” (…) “My cows are waiting for me” (Savage, 2006).

Museveni in 2012:

“The term limits, which would have forced Museveni to stand down in 2006, were scrapped in a process that did not enjoy popular appeal and after MPs were offered inducements to support the move. Museveni, however, told CNN that debate on term limits and his longevity in office were not a priority. “What is important for Uganda,” he said, “is to deal with the country’s development bottlenecks and not who should be the president.” (HabariNetwork, 2012).

Museveni in 2014:

“Well, I don’t think Ugandans are as obsessed with my retirement as Ssemujju seems to be because when I go to ask them at the elections, five million say don’t go, you stay” (…) “You have heard them, singing tajakugenda tajakugenda (he won’t go). So if Ugandans really were like Ssemujju, I would be happy to retire because I am not lacking where to retire. I am a member of my party and I do what my party wants” (Okuda 2014).

What has Museveni said in the past (2014):

“There is nothing much to look forward to, about what the president is going to say on Thursday; I think the greatest thing I would want to hear from him is telling us when he’s going read his last State of the Nation Address,” the former bush war comrade told Chimpreports this morning” (…) “When I was in cabinet, Museveni said that Africa’s biggest problem was people who overstay in power. At one time he wanted to go and graze his cattle once he clocked 55,” recalled Mushega, who fought with Museveni in the liberation war that toppled the military junta of the Okellos in 1986” (ChimpReports, 2014).

PF-retirement_1666571c

There are clear indications of the same mentality between the men. They are both seeking to be honoured for their positions and don’t wanted to leave when they had left a legacy. Instead they are continuing to either be in office or drop LPs.

The proof that they both just wanted to earn on their place in society is proven. As Jay Z has for a long time said he would retire from Hip Hop, but on the next crossroad dropped a project. President Museveni has many times said he want to retire and be with his cows. Instead he runs again because in reality he wants to run the nation and control it all. Mzee have been pledging and promising to leave power after ten years when he came into office after the 1980s civil war. Now he is still there after 30 years. As seen he has promised to step down since then. The words of those statements are worthless. Therefore, don’t expect him to go out of office before his casket. Peace.
