Brexit: Boris Johnson and Theresa May sneer at each other at CPC18, but nothing comes out of it!

Surely, I am grateful I am not a British citizen today, as the Conservative Party Conference in 2018 in Birmingham are going on and what a spectacle it is. Today, it really shown its dire sides, as the Tories are showing their flex and their plans ahead. If not their internal squabble, which in the end makes the Brexit even harder.

The Tories should at this point, be able to have a policy and negotiations team to configure and mange the withdrawal as a Member State with the European Union (EU). However, the government and the cabinet, which has had major changes, are now in trouble with its former members. If that is David Davis or anyone else.

Then you have the biggest skeezer is Boris Johnson. Who the day before his performance at the Conference, walked in a wheat field, just to piss-off his former boss. This being the Prime Minister Theresa May. Therefore, the MP Johnson, knew he could trigger her and used again harsh words against her. Because she is easy to pick on.

Johnson knew what he was up too, just like the articles he writes. He suddenly has all the solutions, but he didn’t deliver them or compose those while campaigning or even being the Foreign Secretary. Therefore, he is a bit out of touch, as he plays big for the public, but is a mediocre politician in reality.

Not that Theresa May is great either, she should have worked more strictly with the policies and ensured the cabinet would work towards the same goals. Instead, all the different fractions within the HM Government have come to the public and the Tories seems unsure how they want to deal with the EU. That the PM feels betrayed today is natural, but that is part of the political game.

Both of them is playing with high stakes, both promising solutions, but them both should know that they are risking their political lives. Johnson has now less to loose, but this doesn’t make him look brilliant, more like a man who didn’t take charge while he was in power, but from the sidelines says everything can solve it. That is just a direct insult for the months he was in the cabinet.

May still have no solution for the Brexit, neither what the EU will accept and neither what the Tories really will agree upon. Nevertheless, the withdrawal will move on. The final day is getting closer, but the Tories are looking more split and more in the wind, than before. Instead of being certain how they want to move, it looks like internal power struggle seems more important, than the future of the United Kingdom.

If any of them thought this was wise, let me tell you, the world is looking and boggled by what your up too. As the lack of tact and brilliance is staggering. That the Boris Johnson acts like does and that he gets away it. The Labour should also address his claims, as he used the opportunity also to attack them. May defended herself, but also shown disdain about the comments made by Johnson.

This here just shows what the Tories has lacked from the get-go, a clear-cut and willing policy of what they wanted on the outside and what they really are risking to loose. As they are acting more as still a member with free trading, but not with free movement. Which the EU will not accept, as that is not accordingly done after EU protocol. Therefore, the Tories continued Pick-and-Mix strategy is flawed as it is.

Today’s speech and answer. Only shows the lack of progression and lack of policy. That the Tories are still at the high sea and not sure how to get back on land. Peace.

Uganda Police Force: Public Security Warning ahead of Independence Day Celebration (28.09.2018)

Irish Exporters Association calls on all parties to prevent a no-deal Brexit scenario (21.09.2018)

Dublin, 21st September 2018, The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) acknowledges, with great concern, UK Prime Minister Theresa May’s statement on the current state of play of negotiations on the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union. To ensure that Irish exporters continue to be able to trade with the UK as frictionless as possible after 29th March 2019, we call on all negotiating parties to prevent a no-deal scenario.

On Mrs May’s statement, Simon McKeever, Chief Executive Officer of the Irish Exporters Association commented: “The Irish exporting industry heavily relies on our long-standing strong and open trading relationship with the United Kingdom. The UK remains one of our largest trading partners, source of investment and provides a vital land bridge for Irish exports to the European continent.

We have always known that these negotiations would be tough, complicated and ongoing until the final straight. With a final deal required within the next 4 – 6 weeks, negotiations have reached an impasse – significantly increasing the chances of the EU and UK missing their negotiating deadlines. In addition, the ongoing political rhetoric and uncertainty in the UK, is further increasing fears whether a deal can be reached, and, even if a deal were to be reached if it could pass in the House of Commons.

As the voice of the Irish exporting industry, we call on all negotiating parties to reach an ambitious, comprehensive and legally enforceable Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration on the future relationship in the remaining weeks to provide businesses with certainty. For that, the transition period agreed to earlier this year is vital.

In light of the increasing risk of a disorderly exit, we welcome the Irish Government and EU’s no-deal preparations. In particular, we welcome the announcement for hiring up to 1000 additional personnel to facilitate the expected increase in customs requirements.”

Statement by President Donald Tusk on the Brexit negotiations (21.09.2018)

Brexit: Theresa May is playing a game she cannot win!

Anything which fails to respect the referendum or which effectively divides our country in two would be a bad deal and I have always said no deal is better than a bad deal” – Theresa May (21.09.2018).

What today’s statement or speech from Prime Minister Theresa May has revealed is that the Conservative Party and the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) in coalition cannot be able to configure an agreement, which all parts of the Tories, even all in the coalition combined are agreeing on putting forward. As the European Research Group (ERG) of MPs are blocking several ideas, while the DUP has their ideas and the PM has others. That is why the speech of her is revealing this. This has been shown over time, as the United Kingdom has simplified the implicated criteria without working within the framework of the revoking Article 50 from the European Union. All of that is a graceful disaster.

However, what the speech is showing, is lack of skill, lack of conduct and even lack of negotiating tactics within own realm, before meeting the counter-party of the EU. Which will be much harder to please, considering they have Union Protocol to consider and not loose face for the current Member State and keep the Single Market intact. Therefore, UK could have played this smarter, if they thought it through, they we’re invaluable asset and a needed force within EU, but now they are a fringe state in a limbo.

The proof is when the PM stated this:

First, there are over 3 million EU citizens living in the UK who will be understandably worried about what the outcome of yesterday’s summit means for their future. I want to be clear with you that even in the event of no deal your rights will be protected. You are our friends, our neighbours, our colleagues. We want you to stay. Second, I want to reassure the people of Northern Ireland that in the event of no deal we will do everything in our power to prevent a return to a hard border” (Theresa May, 21.09.2018).

It’s like the Piccadilly Line straight to heaven when it comes to this woman. You just get your Oyster Card and rumble into the pearly gates. Because, the way she puts things forward, is blatantly arrogant and without real concern. Since, if she really feared the hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. She would actually have ensured that in the negotiations, as the preliminary agreement with the EU said. Which was the basis for all further negotiating. However, she really tries to play high stakes and hopes for reward, but right now she is just loosing.

What is worse is that she would not lose alone at this point, because she is playing with a house of cards. The PM is supposed to bridge the gap, but instead she asks the workers to make it further between the shores of Calais and Folkestone. If it was PM orders, she would have bombed the tunnel and ordered the HM Government to make ferries available. Because the deal of trade and movement between the EU and UK cannot cease to function in this manner. That is initially what it sounds like. That is what Europe is hearing and achieving out of this. If the Industry and the British exporters hear her, they should be worried about the warehouses and the stocks, as the piles should be shipped out before a no-deal. To ensure funds for the rainy-days of no-deal bad-trading agreements and longer time Customs Arrangement with WTO standards between EU and the UK. It is like she doesn’t care for the working places of the people who needs this. That is really magical indifference.

So, it is like the PM are playing a game she cannot win, as she either loses support within the Tories, DUP or with the EU Standards. Peace.

Dominic Raab MP letter to Keir Starmer MP on wanting clarification on Labour’s Brexit Policy (19.09.2018)

If Bosco thought this Security Presser was reassuring, it wasn’t!

People say I’m a dictator but I don’t know how I dictate. I must be one of the best dictators in the world”Yoweri Kaguta Musveni (15.09.2018).

Today, speech or Press Conference on the 15th September 2018. That wasn’t following his intention or whatever reason he decided to hold this. Because President Museveni are really on the bounds and feels hurt by the pressure preceding because of the Post-Arua By-Election aftermath.

Of course, we knew that these items were growing in number. However, we did not anticipate that evil minded people would want to kutokooza (Runyankore ─ for something bad like a fly falling into one’s food or drink) this success story, to turn something good into an instrument of killing Ugandans” (Museveni, 15.09.2018).

This speech and this sort of affair today is more forged spin from the President. As he is trying to look better than he really is and people has seen it all before, but more like he has to because he knows Bobi Wine aka Robert Kyagulanyi are pressuring him from Washington D.C. The quotes and pledges are not trustworthy.

Not like he couldn’t help himself lying to the public:

The NRM is expert in using guns. There are few organisations in the world that can use guns as well as the UPDF but we never kill people extra-judicially” (Museveni, 15.09.2018).

As we know perfectly well, how the NRM, the Army (UPDF), the Special Force Command (SFC) and the Police Force (UPF) have been killing extra-judicially around the nation. In Arua there was the driver of Bobi Wine, in Mityana after and also in Rukungiri. That is just a few of the people the NRM and the soldiers has killed over the year, extra-judicially. What is new, is that the international media actually cares, as Abiriga, Kaweesi, Kirumira and the other big-shots have also been taken out without anyone charged for these assassinations. Together with the killings of woman in Entebbe and the Muslim Clerics. There are so many killings and so little results to show for, other than the intimidation and the usage of force against civilians have appeared without any consequences. That is the worry and the speech of Museveni today, haven’t changed that.

So after hearing stuff like that, that can so easily be debunked as a solid lie.

That is why I have hard time taking him seriously, as he thinks he can sugarcoat everything. As he can put a few numbers, a few name-calling and also speak ill of the opposition. Also, the continued pressure on the CCTV cameras that will solve everything, even more micro-management of the Security Operations in Uganda.

We can really see, that he is just trying to damage control, thinking this is wise. I don’t know whom of the Presidential Advisors or in-charge of his PR that thinks these recent speeches has spread his message. If has done it on his own, he has really shot himself in the foot. As the reality is that the trust in the authorities isn’t built in his speeches, but actual feeling of safety and also seeing less of the military intimidating presence in the streets. However, that is most likely not happening in the era of Museveni.

The man trying make people feel safe, was actually not long ago ordering sharp-shooters for the Members of Parliament, which they have recently said “no” too. Therefore, it is ironic that Museveni have been talking about amounts of cars, motorcycles and cellphones in his Republic, as well as the method of communication of the Police Officers. As the micro-management continues from the President.

The pigs that have doomed their future by shedding the blood of innocent Ugandans, have only themselves to blame for their eternal damnation” (Museveni, 15.09.2018).

Surely, if Bosco thinks these Pressers are wise, it is not. The President has to act differently, but most likely he will not. The Perfect Dictator will not deliver anything, he rather lie to the public and try to peddle it in his favor. However, people shouldn’t let that happen, as we know the Security Organizations are not working for the people, but for him. That is why he will not find out the reality of Arua or the extra-judicial killings. Because that might hurt him directly and his cronies. Peace.

President Museveni says: “he can get rid of Parliament,” so he wants to rule by military decree, then.

“Between 1971 and 1979 (Idi Amin dictatorship – Ed), there was no parliament…Don’t think that you are in heaven; do what took you there. You should know where the power of that parliament comes from… in fact, I can do away with that parliament,” Museveni, also a retired army general, is quoted to have said. “And we brought it [parliament] back, so do whatever you are doing knowing…” Museveni reportedly said” (Sadab Kitatta Kaaya – ‘Museveni: I can do away with parliament’ 05.09.2018, link: https://www.observer.ug/news/headlines/58601-museveni-i-can-do-away-with-parliament).

President Museveni have told the Members of Parliament, that he can abolish the Parliament, if he wants too. Museveni said on the 27th August 2018 at Entebbe State House to the National Resistance Movement Caucus, that he can get rid of the Parliament and be the sole confined power in the Republic. He has said he can take it away and rule supreme.

If you thought that the man wasn’t serious, it took ages before ushered in Multi-Party elections, he took power in 1986, but the first election with that was in 2006. Therefore, he shown in the past, he only does “democratic” incentives, when he really has too. Not on his own merry, but by default.

Now, he says he can bring back military decrees and rule from up high, without any consideration of representatives of the people or MPs. As they are just questioning his reasoning and use of the military. This being in Arua and with the tortured MPs in question. That is why he is like this now. He wants to rule over the people without question, because he owns it.

In the same regard, people should stop paying taxes to him. Since he eats it anyways and shouldn’t care for paying OTT, VAT or anything as long as he don’t want to represent other than himself. He wants to be the kingpin, the almighty, who rules without questions. That is who is now. There isn’t anything he wants to control and if you question the military, than he brings the guns and suppress those ideas. That is why the Presidential Guards are in Kamwokya after arresting Bobi Wine. Because, he needs his sharp-shooters to send the message. That no one else has the power he does, because of the weapons, not because he has the support of the people in general.

That he now wants to talk like Amin and act like him, rule on military decree, shows how he lack fundamental understanding of all branches of state and how he wants to stifle it. He only opened up for things when it was beneficial, but now he wants to abolish it and take it away. He will soon wish back to Resistance Councils and the Movement System instead of the Multi-Party model, as that way he can monitor and control it in-house. That is who he is. However, will the people accept that in 2018?

This is not the same people as in 1986 or in 1996. This are doing this to people who never seen or touched the bush-war, the post-generation of that. He speaks of as it was his gift to give back parliament, soon he does the same with the kingdoms and whatever else he returned. As the pawns on his chess-set, as long as anyone obey it cool, but when they question him; your out of line!

Therefore, we now see how belittling and how hungry for the power the old man has. That he will even go to the levels of the ones he overthrow, just to prove a point. He already use the tactics of military courts, soldiers against civilians and torture like the ones before him. Now he wants to copy their military decree too. Soon there is no difference between him and the ones he liberated people from, its just like a mere façade and not reality. As he himself is as vindictive and horrific as them. Only he had more time using harm against people, then they ever could. Peace.

Opinion: Bobi Wine have more coming for him in 2018, than Museveni ever did in 1980!

Well, I wasn’t even born in 1980, I came into this blue-plant in 1985, the year before the final coup d’etat of 1986. Therefore, I am not supposed to be the guy who writes this. Because reading and hearing the hearsay from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and NRM apologist who says Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine haven’t done enough or have the capabilities to become President. However, they forget a dozens of things with their own master.

It was okay, that he was a part of Milton Obote government, a Defense Minister in the Military Council before starting his own party the Uganda People’s Movement (UPM). The establishment of this was just in the months before the 1980 election. That party tanked in the General Elections of 1980. An election that Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) won and Obote got his second term. Even the Democratic Party under Chairman Dr. Paul Ssemogerere satirized Museveni, that the UPM leaders could join the DP, if they we’re not able to trust the ability of their own party. Therefore, Museveni wasn’t always the most eligible himself.

President Museveni lost his seat to Democratic Party MP candidate Sam Kuteesa. Which today is his Foreign Minister. That shows how times are changing, but also that the NRM shouldn’t underestimate Bobi Wine. Bobi Wine have already won one election. That is more than Musveni ever did, before he did a coup d’etat.

The ones saying he doesn’t have the ability, who really believed in Museveni in 1980? After everyone saw how the Uganda People’s Congress rigged the elections and secured majority. Just like Museveni have done again and again since they took power. Therefore, his lack of promise and misuse of power, are seen as he made no significant change on this manner. More of the same really.

I am sure most of the UPC leaders and DP leaders in 1980 would say that Museveni was just an opportunistic and finding his way to power. If they believed so, they were right. The UPM, now NRM promised and pledged many things, but have offered militarism and not the offering of a promising democracy. As they are using same tactics as the previous regimes to control and intimidate the population.

That Bobi Wine has promise is clear, people wouldn’t create riots for someone, if he wasn’t inspiring them. Kyagulanyi have shown character and given a clear message, that the People’s Power is the strongest and deserves to be listening to, as well as there is time to topple the President, whose has overstayed and acting as tyrant. That is why people are saying he has no message beyond this. But the same people said the same about Dr. Kizza Besigye too. Who they also said could never become a President like Museveni.

Everyone who challenges the President, doesn’t have it in them. But even Ssemogerere mocked Museveni and his leaders in 1980 before he went to Bush for the Second time. Museveni could never win in a fair fight by the ballot. That is why he has rigged himself and his party in ever since.

That is why NRM people are talking trash about Bobi Wine, because they are forgetting how dire straits and weak Museveni was before the 1986. Not like he was the kingpin or had it in him. Not until he consolidated and secured Libyan arms, before he made a deal with Gen. Moses Ali and outplayed the Nairobi Talks of 1985, before he brought down Tito Okello. All of that is forgotten. These people thinks he was the golden mind to rule forever. That was not the deal in 1980s, but has become so.

I am starting to have more and more faith in Bobi Wine, as his strength and his will, is there. He has still a lot to learn, but who doesn’t?

Museveni has learned with time and used his position to trick and manipulate the power. That is why people don’t think others can rule. However, that is not true, that is a trick and a lie. Besigye, Mbabazi or Kyagulanyi could have capabilities to reign as well. Therefore, the NRM has to make sure people thinks otherwise. Because no one isn’t supposed to challenge him. That is a cardinal sin in the NRM.

So, it is time to put some faith into Bobi Wine and not believe in the men and woman, who says the only leader who can rule the Republic is the tyrant, the President and for life ruler Museveni. Peace.

The Hypocrisy of Theresa May: Could gamble a snap election for personal gain, but not a Brexit referendum 2.0?

Just as the Conservative won a majority in the General Election of 2015, as David Cameron stepped down has his gamble on the Brexit Referendum in 2016. That is when the battle for the leadership of the Conservative government happen. Which was won by Theresa May, who has since been the Prime Minister and has put all her stakes in the basket of Brexit. Without delivering anything promising or anything positive for the future. The British and the Her Majesty’s Government haven’t become stronger, as she had a moment of clarity while on a trip in Wales in 2017, which lead to a snap-election the same year. That she called just two years into the term of the Representatives at the Parliament. However, she lost her majority on the 8th June 2017 election, which made a coalition with the Northern Irish Political Party – Democratic Unionist Party (DUP). Therefore, what she called out today, is hypocrisy!

Let me show you briefly, because she is back-tracking and misusing words… as she could call an election for possible gains of her party, which would help the Conservative in the negotiations with the European Union as they we’re withdrawing. However, that back-fired. That is why she will not call an election now. As she is afraid of losing for a second time in two years.

May had a moment of clarity in 2017:

Asked in an interview with ITV News later if there was a ‘moment’ when she changed her mind, Mrs May said: ‘As we were going through the Article 50 process the opposition attempts to jeopardise or frustrate the process in future became clearer. ‘Before Easter I spent a few days walking in Wales with my husband and thought about this long and hard. ‘I came to the decision that to provide that stability and certainty for the future this was the way to do it, to have an election. ‘I trust the British people’” (Daily Mail – ‘How only a handful of Cabinet colleagues knew about May’s June 8th election bombshell – after she reached ‘moment of clarity’ during holiday in Wales’ 18.04.2017, link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4420886/Theresa-calls-General-Election-June-8.html).

Call the same a betrayal in 2018:

But the PM adds: “We would get through it and go on to thrive.” She goes on to insist in her article that her government will not back another vote. “In the summer of 2016, millions came out to have their say,” she writes. “In many cases for the first time in decades, they trusted that their vote would count; that after years of feeling ignored by politics, their voices would be heard. “To ask the question all over again would be a gross betrayal of our democracy – and a betrayal of that trust.” (BBC News – ‘Brexit: May vows no compromise with EU on Brexit plan’ 02.09.2018, link: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-45385421).

I have a hard time to take her seriously, as she could call a General Elections after her takeover and lose majority in 2017, as the Brexit loomed on the Tories. Now, that the negotiations are going badly and the deals are becoming more damaging to the United Kingdom. Therefore, people are seeing the stats and reality of not being a member-state and the possible hardships of being outside. Now she wants the public to be respected, but their will wasn’t that endangered when she promised a strong and stable government in 2017, as she wanted to add majority on the David Cameron victory of 2015. However, that back-fired as we know.

That is why I have a hard time seeing the betrayal of the British people, when she has already called for snap-election herself, only months into her role as Prime Minister post-Cameron. Now, she is in a pickle and worried about the possible result. Than, it is an issue to call a new election or new polls. That is double standard. She will only call election when she thinks her party and her role can benefit. But not what is the best for the British in total. That is political back-stabbing to the public. Brexit are looking and looming, becoming more hazardous. Instead of trying to back-peddle and secure the future, she rather risk the status and the industries as she keeps power. That will be the legacy.

She could call an election as a moment of clarity on vacation in Wales. Maybe the Tories should send her to the mountains of Wales again. So, that she could get a new moment with her husband and maybe see a more favorable outcome. She might lose the months of negotiations with Brussels and possible damage of face, but that cannot be worse than how she danced in South Africa or Kenya, anyway. We know that. She knows that. Peace.
