Opinion: Boris will shield his consigliere

This is really tragic, but a reality. When is the Prime Minister such a weakling and lack of a visionary. That he cannot touch unelected bureaucrats and advisors. What sort of man is Boris Johnson?

Is he such a spineless and insincere man? That he rather safeguard a citizen whose inside his chambers and advising him. Instead of actually governing and leading by example. Acting reckless and brutal towards to Health Care Experts and Journalists. Because, their words are problem, not his closest ally and confidant.

This is the sort of problem only the Dons of Mafia Movies has issues with. Since, they need and sought after a certain level of loyalty. That their most honoured and made of honour outside the family and whose not a capo is the Consigliere. The man who the Don trusts and knows will give good advice. The “right-hand man” of the operation and the one who has a solution to the issues of the Mafia family.

In this regard, Dominic Cummings has become the Consigliere of Boris Johnson. His so vital, that the principal that everyone is equal under the law is a bygone. That the government isn’t accountable or needs to address the misgivings of him. This is because of his role and that his man who gives the best advice in the world.

Cummings is the mastermind, the man behind the scenes and the brilliant spin-doctor that can always sell a lie. Dominic can always come up with some sort of smokescreen or adjust the reality to his vision. So, now he just have to ride the storm and hope people let go off it.

Because, that he broke the lockdown rules doesn’t matter. Two trips to Durham and a visit to Castle. His the consigliere dammit, he needs to chill and test the newest glasses from Spec-savers. That’s what a man of his stature do.

The sad thing about this, that Boris isn’t a Don, but a Prime Minister. A head of state, his the one in-charge and in-command. He got such little will and ability to reign without his consigliere that he got to save him. Even when he breaks the laws and the lockdown regulations. He defends him and even does it without concern with what message that sends.

This shows that the advisor or Chief Aide has special unique powers. That the PM see so much in him, that his willing to breach with common sense and with how the law enforcement would have applied to the commoner. This is what his done.

Initially by doing this, the PM or the Don has shown the public that there are difference between you and them. They can be shielded and be above the law. They are the ones whose legislating it anyway’s. While you have to answer, if you dare test it or do the same.

The Consigliere is a lucky man. His an entitled man and apparently his above the law. Peace.

United Kingdom: Douglas Ross MP – Resignation from the Government (26.05.2020)

Opinion: Dominic’s Law is not a good idea…

That Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his team is shielding Chief Aide Dominic Cummings. This is after he took two trips to Northern England, Durham, which is four hours away from his homestead in London. Also, a business trip or a friendly moment of fun at the Barnard Castle. This is three instances where the Chief Aide of Prime Minister screwed-up and breached public trust.

As people where told to follow strict guidelines. Not even run together in the parks or be outside more than needed. The ones who could work from home, should work at home. The two things allowed for a citizens was to go outside for necessities and one time during the day jog. If you have symptoms and such, your supposed to be self-quarantined.

So, with the knowledge of this, how the government have blocked people from leaving their homes in the midst of the lockdown. The state has initially stopped people from criss-crossing the Kingdom. They have not had the ability to visit their loved ones, they have not been able to attend funerals or be with grieving relatives. The state has stopped people from being close to family members who also needed supervision or help. This was because the general public wasn’t supposed to leave their home address and go elsewhere.

Dominic meanwhile had both COVID-19 symptoms, as the Prime Minister and also Matt Hancock had both been testing positive. Therefore, he was supposed to be self-quarantined in his home. He both could have the disease and could spread it by his movement. Still, even with this in mind. He had the capacity and the ability to travel twice to his parents up-north and also a fun day at a Castle.

This is the sort of man Dominic is… that is why this is the Dominic’s Law. A law where everyone else has to abide to the quarantine and the lockdown rules. So, they are all strictly stuck at home and not going outside. While these rules are not regulated to the Chief Aide of the PM, because his above these laws and regulations.

Dominic don’t have to mind laws or rules, he can measure that himself. His such a great man, his the man whose only sided by the Queen. The rest has to bow to the greatness of Dominic. Cummings can breach regulations during a lockdown, because he can. His the epitome of a alpha male, the superior demi-god of the British people. The rest has to bow down and kneel to his grandeur.

Dominic’s law is that the rules or regulations doesn’t apply to him, but does to the rest. Dominic’s Law is based on the premise that Dominic is above the law and isn’t a subject of it. His just the uncrowned King. That’s why he could visit a castle without any repercussions or having punitive actions towards him. However, if a random bloke tried the same as him, they would be addressed with fire and fury only seen in Games of Thrones. Peace.

Opinion: Dominic’s ill-advised adventure

If I coulda done better, woulda got better

My brudda looked me in my face and said, “You’re not better””Stormzy – ‘Do Better’ (2019)

The Chief Aide for Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Dominic Cummings is in trouble and in question over his travels from London to Durham. By car google maps are saying the trip is about 4 and half hours to drive. That’s the quickest route and without any jam.

During lockdown and with stay-at-home orders, the self-quarantined aide of the PM should know this. Dominic knew perfectly well what he was doing and what breaches of public trust he did. If an ordinary person, a man with no title and no ranks within Downing Street No. 10. He would be sacked, axed and gotten dismissed. In some nations he would be fined and even gotten more punitive actions towards him.

Cummings might act stupid, might try to lay low. While everything around him is burning. The aide of the PM. The man who scheme with him and lays plans for him. The unelected crony of Johnson. The man whose both a gift and a liability to this reign.

Cummings should have stayed home and not moved for 7 days during lockdown. Especially, when he had coronavirus symptoms. Dominic should know this, as he has imposed the public with these terms and he knew perfectly well what he did. His not a ignorant hussy on Benefit’s street. No, his the chamber-mate of the PM and guides things together with him.

That’s why this is insulting. The ones are defending him, that he should go home and take care of his parents. Yes, in ordinary circumstances that’s fine and dandy. However, during lockdown, stay-at-home orders and quarantine needs to be respected by everyone. People are not seeing their loved ones dying in the nursery homes, at hospitals and elsewhere. As the rules are strict and public complies to avoid spread of the virus.

That’s why its damning that one of the most powerful, non-elected bureaucrats of the Kingdom travels around like normal. Even though he got the disease and has symptoms. Disregarding the lockdown measures and regulations. For his own selfish reasons. I’m sure that plenty of citizens wish they could do the same. That Colin from Newcastle would really enjoy to travel to his aunty in Brighton. However, that’s impossible as his a quarantined Geordie and isn’t allowed to move around. If he did he would break the laws of the lockdown and get into trouble.

That is it really. Someone like Dominic should know better and be better. However, his disillusion and deluded mind thought this wouldn’t have ramifications. Since this is a breach of public trust, also devious in the times of a pandemic and crisis in the Kingdom.

Cummings knew all of this and still disregarded the rules during the lockdown in March. Yes, normally its cool to take care of your parents and close family. However, when you have stay-home orders and shows signs of symptoms to COVID-19. It’s not cool to travel many miles away, up-north as the general public is stuck at home and has no choice of doing something similar.

Dominic knows all of this, but still acted a fool. He went on an adventure and it was ill-advised. He should have known better, but he didn’t, apparently. Cummings trip and move was wrong. He shouldn’t have done this, but he did.

As the Chief Aide of the PM he should be an example in a time of need. Not a self-serving prick who doesn’t follow rules. When everyone else is stuck at home and not allowed to leave their address. This is an despicable act and the aide should consider his role in government. Peace

Brexit: European Commission – Statement by the European Commission following the first meeting of the EU-UK Joint Committee (30.03.2020)

Labour MPs letter to Prime Minster Boris Johnson – *COVID-19: Urgent UK action needed to save lives* (23.03.2020)

Brexit: EU’s mandate on negotiations shatters some Brexiteers dreams…

Today the European Commission (EC) of the European Union (EU) gave Michael Barnier a mandate to negotiate with the United Kingdom. As they are in the temporary state until the final break with the European Union, the transition period last until 31st December 2020. This means, this will last until 1st January 2021. That is the time table for this and the mandate giving today from the European Commission, which sets the standards for what to come.

The key things for me was these highlights, which really shows that the United Kingdom is really losing. There is nothing in the mandate, which gives the UK any edge. Only shows what the EU is considering important. While the UK will have to negotiate hard to get things better out of this. Especially considering they only have a taskforce within Downing Street Number 10. They don’t even have a unit fixing this anymore.

Just take a look!

ANNEX to COUNCIL DECISION authorising the opening of negotiations with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for a new partnership agreement” (25.02.2020)

reflect the United Kingdom’s status as a non-Schengen third country, and that a nonmember of the Union, that is not subject to the same obligations as a member, cannot have the same rights and enjoy the same benefits as a member” (EU, 25.02.2020).

Free Trade Area:

The envisaged partnership should include appropriate rules of origin based on the standard preferential rules of origin of the Union and taking into account the Union’s interest” (EU, 25.02.2020).

Road transport:

As third country operators, United Kingdom road haulage operators should not be granted the same level of rights and benefits as those enjoyed by Union road haulage operators in respect of road freight transport operations from one Union Member State to another (“grand cabotage”) and road freight transport operations within the territory of one Union Member State (“cabotage”)” (EU, 25.02.2020).

Fisheries:

Besides the cooperation on conservation, management and regulation, the objective of the provisions on fisheries should be to uphold Union fishing activities. In particular, it should aim to avoid economic dislocation for Union fishermen that have been engaged in fishing activities in the United Kingdom waters” (EU, 25.02.2020).

Gibraltar:

Any agreement between the Union and the United Kingdom negotiated on the basis of these negotiating directives will not include Gibraltar” (EU, 25.02.2020).

First things first. The EU shows a sign, which the UK haven’t understood or neglect to understand. It is that it will not have the benefits of the EU nor the previous membership as a nonmember, even if the politicians and Tories have acted like that since day one.

Secondly, the EU will work in its own interest, even with their paradigm Free-Trading Area, also making the cargo trade on the roads harder for British exporters from United Kingdom into the European Union. While also, trying to ensure the EU fishing boats access to UK seas. This is all clearly hitting the demands, but also the promises made from the Tories in the UK. They are not shielding the fisheries, they are making it harder for the exporters. Because, they cannot get the access and the mobility, which it has today.

Third, the EU has no concern about Gibraltar. That is really stuffing the faces of London, as they have promised Gibraltar safety and a secure future. However, this is the EU showing a shift in focus on this and putting a hard stance. As this has to be negotiated separately, by this mandates concern. This is surely done to please the Spanish in the EU.

However, what we are seeing, that the mandate isn’t that friendly, the direct approach sets the stakes and also doesn’t give way. As the EU needs to set the foot down and show there is a difference being on the outside, then being inside. Which is the wish of the UK. That is why it got to cost to become a nonmember. Peace.

Opinion: Priti Patel is celebrating mediocrity

The Home Secretary Priti Patel yesterday (22.02.2020) launched the Blue Passport with the ‘Iconic blue passports return next month’. It is hard to see what there is to celebrate. Other than its an imported Polish passport, which has the colour blue. Like the colour gives the passport unique power.

It is like the United Kingdom is okay with mediocrity. Because of Brexit, they are okay with symbolism. They are okay with a colour scheme on a official travel document over the value it actually has. The UK are losing a lot with the withdrawal of the membership in the European Union. They are losing rights to reside, work and being part of customs unions for the trading of goods too.

Therefore, the whole idea of celebrating that with the temporary status and saying its a victory to get it blue. Is really naive, if not foolish, unless you want propaganda brownie points. Like its a big deal to change the colour of the passport.

The passport only has value as long as it opens up to visa and travelling opportunities. By the ranking of the Passport Index its at the 28h placed. It is also in the Power Rank of the 5th, meaning it is ranking behind plenty of states. This means the colour isn’t all that important.

The Home Secretary should look into why there are 27 passports ahead of the UK and why the citizens of the United Kingdom doesn’t have the ability for mobility like the ones above it. This is the key thing for this sort of thing.

If the Home Secretary doesn’t see that, she is either delusional or not configured her job. However this is how proud she was and it doesn’t make sense.

Home Secretary Priti Patel said:

Leaving the European Union gave us a unique opportunity to restore our national identity and forge a new path in the world. By returning to the iconic blue and gold design, the British passport will once again be entwined with our national identity and I cannot wait to travel on one” (UK, 22.02.2020).

What would be unique would be to enter new visa agreements and give an edge for the citizens mobility. So, that the Passport Index would be better. Like think about getting it up one Power Rank even.

The Home Secretary Patel seemingly more into symbolism, than actual significant change.

Roses are red,

Tories are blue,

and they screwed you”

Peace.
