China: Xi Jinping is now the centre of the CPC universe…

“These revisions will help all Party members uphold and strengthen the Central Committee’s centralized, unified leadership and enhance cohesion and forge the Party’s soul with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. They will also help enhance the political and organizational functions of Party organizations, take strict steps to improve Party conduct and tighten Party discipline, and ensure full and rigorous self-governance of the Party” (The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China – ‘Full text of resolution on Party Constitution amendment’ 22.10.2022).

The latest National Congress isn’t only revealing a Politburo, which is filled with allies and loyalist of Xi Jinping. The CPC is showing by the resolution voted on yesterday the most basic ideals and centre of the party. Xi is putting himself in centre of it all and his the one to guide them all. He is the modern day Mao and he shows it too.

Xi is now promising a New Era, as his stepping into his third term as Chairman of the CPC and the Head of State. The resolution from the 20^th National Congress is very telling. Just reading the text and such. It is obvious that everything will be around him and his choices. He is the high and mighty, the high above and the one who has the answer.

Just reading this long paragraph from it. This just shows what the CPC is now standing for. Whatever that is coming after this, the words and the policies will all be reflected by the comrade and chairman. He will have the final say and be behind it somehow. To think otherwise is naive. The resolution wouldn’t sound like this and be written like this.

Just read this:

“The Congress notes that since entering the new era, the Party and the country have faced a situation of unparalleled complexity, a fight of unparalleled graveness, and tasks of unparalleled difficulty in promoting reform, development, and stability. Establishing Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has enabled the Party to successfully resolve the acute problems and challenges undermining its long-term governance, the security and stability of the country, and the wellbeing of the people, to remove serious hidden dangers in the Party, the country, and the military, and to ultimately set the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on an irreversible historical course. The establishment of both Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era represents a major political achievement for the Party in the new era and a decisive factor in the historic successes and changes in the cause of the Party and the country. All Party members must acquire a deep understanding of the decisive significance of this major achievement, more conscientiously uphold Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership, fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and closely follow the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core in thinking, political stance, and action” (The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China – ‘Full text of resolution on Party Constitution amendment’ 22.10.2022).

You can see that Xi Jinping are the one core position of the party. He has the guiding role, and the party has to implement it too. That’s why all things that matters… has to be vouched for and signed off by him. The General Secretary or Chairman has to address it. Xi Jinping is the man… and it’s obvious. The new era is all about him. Xi Jinping word and plans are the ones to follow.

It continues:

“The Congress calls on Party organizations at all levels and all Party members to follow the firm leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and carry forward the great founding spirit of the Party” (The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China – ‘Full text of resolution on Party Constitution amendment’ 22.10.2022).

The ones that thinks the Party will be formed by outside forces now. Well, the ones who is close to Xi Jinping has an advantage. Xi Jinping is now the man and the policymaker to look out for. Whatever that is happening in China will be aligned with Xi Jinping thinking, political stance and action.

Everyone can just look to Xi Jinping when speaking about China now. The rest of the Politburo and everyone else has to follow him. That is the gist of the resolution from the 20^th National Congress. Peace.

Opinion: Coup rumours circulating around Xi Jinping

For some weird reasons there is coup d’etat rumours circulating about President Xi Jinping. There is supposed friction and issues within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). We know there been several of high ranking officials and elites who has been touched by the authorities lately. That might cause issues within the ruling regime. The President still needs support, even if he arrests and charges people within with bribery charges and whatnot. That might be the right thing to do, but could also weakening his support too. Because, everyone cannot live in fear that he might take them down and get rid of them. It don’t matter how rich or influential they get. They could still get long prison stints and lose their careers.

Now that the flights are cancelled and reported army movements toward Beijing. There are rumours of a house-arrest and a coup there. What is weird as that is happening. Xi Jingpin has sent this message like normal:

“On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of China News Service, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, sent a congratulatory letter to extend sincere congratulations to all the comrades of China News Service. In his congratulatory letter, Xi Jinping pointed out that over the past 70 years, China News Agency has adhered to the patriotic reporting policy, insisted on serving overseas Chinese, and played an active role in telling Chinese stories and spreading Chinese voices well” (Xi Jinping, 23.09.2022).

However, that message could be last official message he sent before being house arrested by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). We know that Xi Jinping did go after a certain “political clique” and went after their corrupt activity. That has to cause a stir and could create tensions too. We have seen several of people being charged and even high ranking officials getting life-charges. Meaning, they have nothing to loose to challenge Xi Jinping now. They are already in dire straits and could easily regain power by getting rid of Xi Jinping.

Some says there is a lot of smoke, but there is still no truth or verified fire. Certainly, things are sketchy and questionable at best. The rumours are saying General Li Qiaoming have taken control and is calling the shots now. However, nothing is sure at this very moment. It is all in the wind and we cannot assess it.

There is no official report or statement. Neither is there any sort of changes of substance. It is mull and silence. Therefore, things could move like normal and the “clique” targeted only wants to weaken the Chairman ahead of the Leadership Congress. Nevertheless, who knows right? That’s just mere speculation and we cannot know.

Another even weirder rumour is that Xi Jinping just died suddenly and the CCP is scraping or struggling with how to move forward. That he just died a few hours ago on this day the 24^th September 2022. However, that rumour is even more weird than the coup d’etat after the purge within his own party. Therefore, I don’t take it as truth or believe it.

So, the key rumours are a PLA takeover and Xi Jinping in a supposed house-arrest. Another rumour is his demise and sudden death, which only said by a few online. Nevertheless, nothing is known and Beijing isn’t stating anything. We just have to wait and see here.

We just have to see what the CCP, PLA or whoever high ranking officials comes out with a statement. If they have anything or just continues to keep silent. Whatever it is… something is brewing and we have no idea. Peace.

Opinion: Pelosi’s misadventure to Taiwan…

“181 countries have established diplomatic relations with China on the basis of the one-China principle. The one-China principle is a universal consensus of the international community and a basic norm in international relations” (Hua Chunying, 02.08.2022).

Today it finally happened. There been reports and leaked information that this might occur. However, the Chinese government have warned about this in advance. The Biden Administration has clearly not gotten the memo. The call between the President Joe Biden and President Xi Jinping has not worked. The Biden administration and such should have informed and been clear about it’s intentions. Instead, they are humiliating Beijing. We know that these Republic’s wants to be seen as superpowers and superior of others. That is knowledge the whole world has by now. Nevertheless, sometimes courtesy and follow requests can go a long way. That was not done here.

The Democratic Party run government has instead defied and acted in spite. For the Taiwan strait and the possibility of a fruitful dialogue between China-U.S. is thwarted here. U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has chosen sides and also sent a signal. That is sending alarm-bells to Beijing. As she landed in Taipei.

Here is some more vital information on the matter and why it’s consequential…

Chinese Government Statement on the Pelosi’s Taiwan travel:

“On 2 August, in disregard of China’s strong opposition and serious representations, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi visited China’s Taiwan region. This is a serious violation of the one-China principle and the provisions of the three China-U.S. joint communiqués. It has a severe impact on the political foundation of China-U.S. relations, and seriously infringes upon China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It gravely undermines peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait, and sends a seriously wrong signal to the separatist forces for “Taiwan independence”. China firmly opposes and sternly condemns this, and has made serious démarche and strong protest to the United States. There is but one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory, and the Government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China. This has been clearly recognized by United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2758 of 1971. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, 181 countries have established diplomatic relations with China on the basis of the one-China principle. Xi-Biden Call:

“We are still relying on the official readouts and background briefings on the call, but as the readouts filter through the systems we may get more candid color on the call over the next few days. There does not appear to have been any deal on tariffs. Xi repeated a variation of his statement from the November call with Biden that those who play with fire over Taiwan will be burnt but neither readout mentions the possible Pelosi trip to Taiwan” (Bill Bishop – ‘Xi-Biden call; Politburo meeting; Taiwan; Chip corruption’ 29.07.2022, Sinocism.com).

The Washington D.C. diplomatic corps and everyone with some intelligence should know this would have a backdrop. This is showing loyalty towards Taiwan in spite and in dishonour of Beijing. The leadership of Beijing don’t want interference or questions about their reign. So, when the U.S. does this and has an adventure like that. It has costs and creates new burdens. Pelosi has burned bridges by just appearing and sending her regards from Taipei.

President Biden knew about this and the Indo-Pacific trip had to be cleared by the Home Secretary and the diplomats of Washington D.C. I doubt she just travelled and suddenly ended up in Taiwan. That was planned and scheduled. Even if the other nations visited by the U.S. House Speaker was announced ahead. The trip to Taiwan was hidden, but must have known. That’s why Chinese President warned against it. A simple reason why not too.

Even if Pelosi doesn’t come with weapons or financial aide. She still acted in defiance against the will and the sovereign state of China. As a seasoned politician she should know that this could cause trouble. When a grown person knows their act could cause issues. Maybe you should back-off and find other avenues to support Taiwan. Instead of a brief visit and create a diplomatic stalemate between the nations. That is a huge price over a trip. It is the definition of misadventure.

Pelosi isn’t helping Taiwan by doing this. She is only playing with fire and isn’t talking in a manner, which is useful for Beijing. What she has done is in spite and not constructive. How can you trust the U.S. when they cannot listen or adhere to simple requests?

I will also end with statement from someone from Taiwan:

“A relative (living outside Taiwan) asked me if I’m doing alright in Taiwan, given the global coverage over the last few days about Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. I said, things are normal because living in Taiwan, we have become used to China’s threats. The high-levelness of Pelosi’s visit made global news these few days and put greater spotlight on China’s threats, and for many people who seldom hear of news from this part of this world, the threats sound scary. But these are the threats Taiwanese face on a constant basis. The good thing about what happened these few days is that it has made people globally more aware of Taiwan’s situation and helped clarify the facts. China as it is known today was only founded by the CCP party in 1949, and since its founding, never ruled Taiwan. As such, CCP has no claims over Taiwan. Prior to CCP, it was the KMT political party which controlled most parts of China. It later fled to Taiwan and controlled Taiwan, but since Taiwan democratized from the late-1980s, Taiwanese have voted KMT out of government. Taiwan today has therefore never been controlled by CCP, and CCP does not have any claims over Taiwan. Taiwanese have also exercised their democratic rights to elect a government of their own choosing, and based on surveys, people here see themselves as Taiwanese, not Chinese. To Taiwanese, the issue of Taiwan’s identity is thus settled: Taiwan is a normal independent country. However, China has blocked other countries from establishing normal relations with Taiwan, which allows it to push the idea that Taiwan isn’t independent and belongs to China. In order to stop allowing such an idea to be propagated, it is therefore important for other countries to interact with Taiwan normally, and this is why not making a fuss over Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan is important. This normalizes the fact that Taiwan is an independent country. These few days allow people to be more aware of Taiwan’s situation & to have first hand experience of the threats China is capable of making against Taiwan. Hopefully, it helps emphasize why it’s important to not to placate authoritarian regimes, as this will only embolden them” (Roy Ngerng 鄞義林, 02.08.2022).

We can expect more coming and this just shows how things really are. It is no surprise that Beijing wants sovereign control over Taipei and Taiwan. However, that isn’t the case, but certainly the tensions between the superpowers will persist. Because, Pelosi did humiliate the CCP in Beijing. That will have consequence whether we like it or not. Opinion: US-China relations sours even more…

It is like the United States own failures is used as an option to hurt Chinese Business interests. This is not only the sanctions and stopping of Huawei trading in the United States. The US has sanctioned 24 entities yesterday for their connections to the Chinese Military. Also on the same day, the US Commerce did also put sanctions on 9 companies connected to the oppression of Uighur in Xinjiang province.

That means the US has put their mission and blocks certain companies. Also ensures that these corporations or entities less traction in International trading. Just as the US Department of Commerce put it: “The Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) announced it will add 24 governmental and commercial organizations to the Entity List for engaging in activities contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States. The entities, based in China, Hong Kong, and the Cayman Islands, represent a significant risk of supporting procurement of items for military end-use in China” (Commerce.gov, 22.05.2020).

Also, the other piece from them state this: “These nine parties are complicit in human rights violations and abuses committed in China’s campaign of repression, mass arbitrary detention, forced labor and high-technology surveillance against Uighurs, ethnic Kazakhs, and other members of Muslim minority groups in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region (XUAR). This action will supplement BIS’s first tranche of Entity List designations in October 2019 involving 28 parties engaged in the XUAR repression campaign in Xinjiang” (Commerce.gov, 22.05.2020).

Yes, the actions of China and Chinese government in concern to the Uighur people is outrageous and morally wrong. No question in my mind. The activity and the destruction of them as a minority is wrong. However, in my mind, this is using them as en excuse for US selfish reasons. This is insincere. Because, its not like the US will open the arms for immigrants fleeing similar situations elsewhere. The US is building walls and closing its borders for asylum seekers fleeing situations like the Uighurs. So, the US is using this an argument, but not a legit one from this administration.

This administration cannot even make good lies. They are so open on their motives. This is direct trade-war and efforts as a scapegoat in the midst of the tragic COVID-19 Pandemic. The US needs a scapegoat and righteously so is it fitting to blame Beijing and China. Instead of looking at own inaction and lack of concern to what happen.

The US has also already put tariffs on Chinese production and products already. Therefore, this is a continuation. However, by every step and every action. The US is losing leverage and they are also paying the price. They need to go elsewhere for trading similar things. If not pay more, as they are stopping certain parts of imports from there.

The Chinese are doing their wrongs too. Nevertheless, the Foreign Affairs wrote this yesterday, which state it perfectly: “We urge the US side to abandon its Cold War mentality and ideological bias, follow the trend of the times, view China and China-US relations in an objective and rational way, immediately stop interfering in China’s internal affairs, harming China’s interests or undermining China-US relations, and work with China to bring bilateral relations back onto the right track” (Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian’s Regular Press Conference on May 22, 2020).

This here says it all. Yes, the relations is based on both parties gives and takes. However, right now, the reality is that the one aiming and hitting one party. Is the US whose shooting down and tracing their targeted companies or entities. Just like last years tariffs and such, which has also slowed things down. The US is doing this and the Chinese has retaliated. This will continue. Just like the Chinese banned certain journalists and media houses within the Republic. That is all natural in the sense of the relations between them.

This is all hostile. There is not function or care. The US President says everything is China’s fault. While he hasn’t carried water for happen within his own borders. Therefore, that isn’t a fair assessment. It is an easy victimhood in this pandemic. Yes, the origin was from China. They didn’t do enough and do it correctly. Still, the US didn’t care about the warning signs either or did what they should have done. That is the 20/20 hindsight, which deems both parties wrong in the sense of acting in accordingly to the danger of COVID-19.

However, this is about the trade war. Where for every step the US is attacking and targeting companies of Chinese origin. They have to release proof of these allegations now. Especially, the list of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). Where the Commerce Secretary says these companies are connected with this. If so, I would like to see proof and leaked documentation of sensitive intelligence. To actually prove the allegations. If not, the US is just using their power and means to kick the Chinese. Because, it is useful to have an enemy in this troubling time.

The Chinese is far from perfect and their reign within the One-Party state isn’t peaceful nor democratically anything to aspire too. Nevertheless, the US isn’t that great on this either. Especially, the way Trump Administration is just another epitome of baroque king-pin from the Big-Apple and Trump tower in New York. That is why these measures has to be explained to be believable.

The US cannot con the world anymore. They could in the past, but not now. This US-China Trade-War is only proving what sort of hostile force it is. Instead of finding diplomatic measures or even doing the hard work of talks between the parties. It is easier to sanction and block someone, than actually do the work. That is how it seems. They are using excuses and arguments of legit reasons to do something. But, a very important but, they are not proving the reasons for doing so.

If these companies are what they claim. Prove it and show it. Unless, they hare having a smokescreen and another visionary moment similar to the Iraqi WMDs in the early 2000s. Well, I’m looking forward to see that.

Until then, this is a propaganda victory for the Trump Administration with no hold in reality. Since, they are just blocking someone without any proof. They could say whatever and argue for it. Still, a man like me wants reasons for it.

Unless, they are just finding fitting measures to pressure Beijing, but that is not something they can do too long. Because, Washington D.C. doesn’t have that much leverage. Since, for every step they do. There is less of a reason for the Chinese to serve or even work in association with the US anyway. Peace.

Opinion: We don’t need a new WMD moment in 2020

Back in the day of 5^th February 2003, United States Secretary of State Colin Powell presented the United Nations Security Council with the intelligence of Weapons of Mass Destruction. A effort being made to ensure the legitimacy of a new gulf war and reasons to overthrow then Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussain. Not that President Saddam Hussain was a choir-boy or anything, but WMD he didn’t have or the capacity to built at the time. Just like that President George W. Bush had a “valid” and “accurate” argument to start war.

Just as those days, which is now 17 years ago. I had little faith, as the Iraqi didn’t have the weapons. They didn’t have the ability nor wealth to generate the weaponry in question. As they we’re sanctioned and had been both in past gulf-wars, bloody extortion of own citizens who opposed the regime and was enemies of Teheran. So, not like Baghdad had the time nor the opportunity to do what the US claimed.

That is why I am feeling I am living through the same moment. Just as United States Secretary of State Michael Pompeo and President Donald J. Trump proclaims the Chinese are manufacturing the disease and the COVID-19 or the Coronavirus. They did it in a secret lab in Wuhan and spread it like hot garbage to the whole world. It’s not like the origins isn’t proven already. However, the US claims certain things, but isn’t proving it. They need a scapegoat.

The failure internally in the US is the reason why the bad-guy needs to be China. Just like in older movies when the bad-guys of Hollywood, where either smoking Eastern-European fellas or Chinese. That was the code, they were the evil bastard who only wanted harm and they smoke Malboro.

Soon, they will deliver a rapport. Surely one of the big-men of the administration with pictures, red-tape and whole she-bang in public. They will profess and state this with the full intent of the getting the coalition of the willing. The United Kingdom, Samoa and Tuvalu to join on the Crusade against Beijing. Just like they did with Baghdad in a not to far distant time. They need the support of these nations, as they are following the gallant example of the hope of the West.

While really, they are the self-destruction of the West. They cannot wait to create havoc and unruly behaviour wherever they may go. So, now they just have created a new culture war and another enemy. With their propaganda and their mind-games. Where they hope they are capable of selling it.

Not that China is innocent in this. They have tried to distort and discredit the faith in their leadership. They have unquestionable behaviour and acted badly in the sense of this pandemic. They have not been transparent, but neither has the Trump Presidency ever been. That is why his Tax Returns is still a myth and hieroglyphics from ancient times are more accessible.

So, its not like Trump is transparent either. Xi Jinping is at least honest about his betrayal of public scrutiny. The Trump Administration is bullshitting it and with full disregard of the people, while they trying to act like the holiest men on planet earth, except for the Pope. That is just the way it is.

In that sense, the act of WMD in 2020 will be the origin of COVID-19. The public display, which will not be based on scientifically facts, but instead on political mind-games. It will be like the manufactured WMDs of 2003. Instead of a Colin, it will be a Mike. The UNSC might be used this time. If not it will be on Fox News and OAN. It will be ugly, but the lie is still a lie.

Yes, the origin was in Wuhan, but it was at the Huanan Seafood market in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The US might want to fix that, just like the Chinese authorities also claimed something else in April. However, it will not work. Not when the reports are written and all traces goes there.

You can say that someone got the WMD, but that doesn’t make it more true. You can scream that they got WMD. Nevertheless, that doesn’t make it true either. Your just making noise and not stating the fact. We know, we know and you better stop lying. Your not good at it. Peace.

Opinion: Chinese authorities cannot rewrite the origin of COVID-19

“There has been no scientific or medical conclusion yet on the origin of Covid-19, as relevant tracing work is still under way” (…) “The name Covid-19 was chosen by the WHO for the purpose of making no connections between the virus and certain places or countries. The origin of a virus is a complicated, scientific issue. It should be left to scientists and doctors to find out through studies and research” (Chinese Embassy in the UK – ‘The Mail on Sunday published a letter from the Chinese Embassy in UK on its report on the origin of COVID-19’ 13.04.2020).

This here is not important in the scale of things. This virus could come from wherever and the end-game is still the same. We have have to all find the cure, the vaccine and medicine in general to defeat the Coronavirus or COVID-19. That is what is key, as the world is under lockdown, the nations are under state of emergency and so fourth. Not, like there are bigger fishes to fry. However, the Beijing government. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) can lie to their own citizens, but not to us!

The CCP and President Xi Jinping can lie all he wants in his own domain. He can block every single foreign journalists who dare to insult his intelligence. He can do so there, but he cannot go against the facts, that COVID-19 came from Wuhan in Hubei Province. It is maybe not a propaganda victory. It is not the cure for eternal youth, but its there. The Joint Report combined with WHO states so too. They did it together, but maybe the Chinese Ambassador was told to scrap this public report?

Who knows, but I will just quote two passages of this public report. Because, rewriting history at this level. Is outrageous. It is abysmal method of governing. Instead of manning up and take it on the chin. That is why your busy giving away all sorts of medical gear world-wide to patch the hurt right? Not just humanitarian, because the Chinese usually gives away with a hope of earning a fortune down the line. We have seen that with the Belt and Road Imitative. So, we don’t have to make that up.

Here’s the key passages in concern of origin:

“COVID-19 is a zoonotic virus. From phylogenetics analyses undertaken with available full genome sequences, bats appear to be the reservoir of COVID-19 virus, but the intermediate host(s) has not yet been identified. However, three important areas of work are already underway in China to inform our understanding of the zoonotic origin of this outbreak. These include early investigations of cases with symptom onset in Wuhan throughout December 2019, environmental sampling from the Huanan Wholesale Seafood Market and other area markets, and the collection of detailed records on the source and type of wildlife species sold at the Huanan market and the destination of those animals after the market was closed” (WHO-China Joint Mission, P8 2020,).

“Since the COVID-19 virus has a genome identity of 96% to a bat SARS-like coronavirus and 86%-92% to a pangolin SARS-like coronavirus, an animal source for COVID-19 is highly likely. This was corroborated by the high number of RT-PCR positive environmental samples taken from the Huanan Seafood Market in Wuhan” (WHO-China Joint Mission, P: 34, 2020).

All the measures and test here sets the fixed mark towards one wet-market in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. It is not on the North Pole, neither anywhere else.
