Tomorrow is the day, 30th January 2018 at Uhuru Park, where the President Raila Amolo Odinga and Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka will swear themselves in President and Vice-president. This is why the Jubilee government and the incumbent team of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto. They are awaiting using the whole security apparatus. This being the Kenya Defense Force (KDF) and National Police Service.
We can expect that Nairobi County Police Commander Japheth Koome who seemingly are ready to stop the Swearing-In of Odinga. They have said they would stop the rally. As well as Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has closed the Uhuru Park for renovation, even if NASA had paid for the venue and secured the venue long before. The Jubilee governor will be loyal to the President and Jubilee. The same as the Media who was threaten on Friday 26th January 2018. That they would not live broadcast the ceremony or follow it.
Since the Police and the military are ready to renegade against the masses of supporters. Since Jubilee know they we’re humiliated on Jamhuri Day, the 12th December when the stadium was empty and only the chickens who voted showed up. Tomorrow is only happening because of the open-air bazaar made by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on the 8th August 2017 and the 26th October 2017. Both times the IEBC and providers altered the results to fit Kenyatta. Now he wants legitimacy and uses all sort of ploys to get it.
He uses Cambridge Analytica, he uses the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) who even forged his recent title as “Youth Ambassador” at UNICEF. Even I got caught in the web, displeased by the honorary title for a man like Kenyatta. Forgive me for attack UNICEF. This wasn’t their doing, it was all PSCU handy-work. We can wonder what kind of stories they cook-up for tomorrow.
We can wonder how many fake papers and documents that will be flooded. Because we can wonder, even today there was leaked a fake Curfew document signed by CS Fred Matiangi. That seemed real for a minute, even before KTN and other sources debunked it. Because the Jubilee government and Police Service in Nairobi has outlawed the Swearing-In at Uhuru Park. While the Jubilee government worked in secret to involve the army as well. That meaning a total lock-down of the Uhuru Park, also closing off streets and what else to make sure the crowds disperse. That meaning water-canons, tear-gassing and police brutality. We can just imagine, because we have seen how the Security Organizations have brutally gone after the NASA supporters.
That is why I am worried about tomorrow. Kenyatta and Ruto could use their powers within the army and police to squash any activity. We should worry what efforts being made to stop it and what sinister plans the Kenyatta Presidency has to secure their Power. Because they have already killed demonstrators and they have assaulted innocent people so they would fear to question his rule. That is what is worrying me about tomorrow.
Not that I respect Kenyatta or Ruto. I don’t, not a single piece of me respects the thieves-in-command and the enforcers of violence. I cannot subscribe to that, however, I fear their violence and the lives that are taken for staying in power. Because the killings and the innocent lives taken is on their account, but I don’t expect them to pay for it. They will only make it worse for Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. The whole NASA team will suffer.
Unless, this is a start of a Revolution, where the People’s Assemblies and the Resistance will be given a boost. NASA can either boost or loose it. However, NASA can win big on this, but Jubilee can overcome it. Not by force, but with not caring and giving way. Because then the NASA plan would not be sufficient. Since the Jubilee would recognize their existence. That would be ultimate insult, however, the NASA usually suffers for their demonstrations and rallies. I expect the same tomorrow.
Even if you want freedom and democracy, it has a cost, it has already cost a lot and many has lost their lives for it. Many has paid the ultimate price, so that other can continue the good struggle. That doesn’t mean, we shouldn’t fear tomorrow and the assaults on innocent people. The impunity and the injustice served the people on orders by the State House. While the PSCU are cooking new stories for Githeri Media to publish. Hopefully, I am not caught in the wind like the UNICEF.
I want the best, but fear for the worst. Peace.
