Ukraine: Europe needs to listen to the pleas of President Zelensky

We want to bring about the closure of the sky because we specifically kill our people. This happens from the territory of Belarus and from the territory of Russia. These missiles, bombs, Iskanders, planes, bombers are flying” (…) “I said, if you can’t bring in the closure of the sky now, now give us a deadline – when. If you can’t give Ukrainians a deadline now for you to implement it, tell me how many people should break down? How many hands, feet, heads are needed so that they are torn off, so that they fly away to reach you, so that you close it? How much do you need? Number say! I will go, we will count, and we will wait until this moment” (…) “If you don’t have the strength to close the sky, then give me planes. If we do not, God forbid, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia will continue. Next will be Georgia, Moldova, Poland. So they will go to the Berlin Wall” (…) “I want to thank those countries that support us, transfer weapons. But it happened too late. This is the term when we spoke and asked, this term costs thousands of lives of Ukrainians” – President Volodmyr Zelensky (03.93.2022).

It has been over a week since the Russian invasion of Ukraine started. The conflict isn’t stagnating or reversing. The Russian fronts are moving forward, but at a slower pace than what the Russian themselves anticipated. As they had plans for a total surrender by 15 days.

This is Putin’s war and his associates who thrives on it. They are the ones who has issued it and wants to install a puppet regime in Kyiv. That is who the Moscow regime is and what they are willing to do.

The Kyiv government are fighting for the integrity and sovereignty, as they are on the front-line on the values of Europe and democratic principals, which Moscow or Putin doesn’t believe in. That is the reality here.

That’s why it looked for a while, that Europe and NATO only wanted to show solidarity and meaningless sanctions, which would only be for the publicity and not damage anything. However, the European nations have started to serve with weapons, equipment and other needed necessities in the conflict. As well, as allowing European citizens to fight on the Ukrainians side on the battlefield. Therefore, during the last week there been plenty of changes.

However, there is still ways to go and needed support to strengthen the underdog and the weaker party of the conflict. Ukraine will need continues support and military supplies of all sorts. The defending party needs vast military equipment, vehicles, planes and ammunition. It is not like they can carry the weight on their own shoulders that easily. When they are competing with a military giant, which happens to be Russia. It is not like the Ukrainians has the manpower or the supplies of the Russian Federation. Even if the Russians are sanctioned and financially cut off. It still has reserves and supplies, which could keep the up-keep on the front-line a long time. Even if the citizens are hurt and their pockets are left to dust.

That’s why the statements of Zelensky is important. As they are speaking of a true sentiment of the ones fighting for survival. It is not like Ukraine is just being a victim. No, they are being violated, hurt and killed on the regular now. Their cities and lives are left in the rubble of missiles and bombs. There is no peace and only a total war on their doorsteps. They need help and Europe should give whatever is necessary.

Europe needs to counter the Russian-Belorussian forces, which is invading Ukraine. Ukraine is not only as strong as the will of the people, but they can be encouraged and get the supplies than can stop the Russian from moving forward. That should be the goal of Europe and be a helping hand in the dire hour of need. It is the darkest hour and it is not the time to reconsider your stances of war.

The war is already here and we have to act accordingly. Peace.

Ukraine: Seized Russian tanks, military vehicles or military equipment is now “tax-free” combat trophies

The war that has lasted over a week now and there been viral videos of farmers or citizens impounding tanks in Ukraine. We have seen the powerful resistance and willpower of the Ukrainian people, as they have no fear to either destroy or burn military vehicles. To take it further some farmers or citizens are even taking military vehicles to their homes or turf. These have either gotten stuck or abounded by Russian soldiers, as they lack logistical support or gasoline to move forward in their invasion.

It’s really striking of the government and the National Agency for the Protection against Corruption (NACP) are making exceptions like these. They are in the middle of war-time and it is circumstances where things are out of control. The taking of military vehicles and equipment is directly helping the motherland and part of self-defence. Therefore, it is really something else.

Just read here:

Have you captured a Russian tank or armored personnel carrier and are worried about how to declare it? Keep calm and continue to defend the Motherland! There is no need to declare the captured Russian tanks and other equipment, because the cost of this … does not exceed 100 living wages (UAH 248,100)” (…) “Speaking by the letter of the law, combat trophies are not subject to reflection in the declaration for the following reasons: they were acquired not as a result of the conclusion of any type of transaction, but in connection with the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022 against the independent and sovereign Ukrainian state as a continuation the insidious attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine launched in 2014. Thanks to the courage and victory of the defenders of the Ukrainian state, enemy military equipment usually comes to you already destroyed and disabled, which makes it impossible to evaluate it in accordance with the law On the valuation of property, property rights and professional valuation activities in Ukraine. Therefore, it is also impossible to find out how much such property costs” (Ukraine’s National Agency for the Protection against Corruption (NAPC), 01.03.2022).

So, this is the power of resistance or defiance against the Russian Federation invasion of Ukraine. As the state is defending the taking of combat trophies. The citizens of Ukraine have now free will and ability to scavenge the Russian convoys and left behind military vehicles. This is all part of the law and the authorities is encouraging it.

The Ukrainian farmers or citizens can pick the left behind vehicles or equipment home. There is even a tank, which is now on sale on Ebay. Therefore, everyone is not pinning it to the local government or the authorities, as the Ukrainian Defence can get free vehicles or equipment by this action done by the resilient citizenry. This is commendable in the middle of war and with missiles strikes, air-raids and troubling time…

The NAPC is giving way, but doing it, as this is very costly for the Russian army and doesn’t cost the Ukrainian Republic anything. They are already paying a heavy price for defending the territory and the sovereign integrity.

In the middle of this horrific events and devastations, at least the citizens can get free combat trophies without any hesitation. They citizen can themselves decide the fate over it, they can either destroy it or hands it over the Ministry of Defence. The last option is to hide it on their plots and farms… so, it cannot be used to harm any other citizen or Ukrainian, as its taken in and now its in the ownership of the last user. Peace.

Opinion: Putin wants to install his old puppet Yanukovych in Kyiv

Putin wants to reinstate Yanukovych as president of Ukraine. Viktor Yanukovych is allegedly in Minsk, and the Kremlin is preparing an operation to replace Zelensky with the ex-president ousted by the EuroMaidan Revolution in 2014, according to Ukrainska Pravda’s sources” (The Kyiv Independent, 02.03.2022).

Not shockingly Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to install and hijack the Kyiv government with his former ally and Pro-Russian Viktor Yanukovych. The man who made favourable deals with Moscow and did whatever he could to be connected with the Russian Federation. He was supported by Russian Friendly Campaign Manager Paul Manafort. This is the sort of fella that Putin trusts.

This man “sold-out” Sevastopol in the Crimean peninsula, which was beneficial for the Russian navy and gave them a port of free entry, which was a lease until 2042. So, with a man like that now… isn’t that favourable, because Ukraine is going towards the West and Europe. His the Moscow elite and is a puppet of Putin.

It is a reason why Yanukovych had to flee into exile in 2014. As he fled from the Euro Maidan protests and his now known for embezzling $70 billion. So, he has enriched himself quickly after 4 years as President and earlier years as appointed Prime Minister. This man has been in the chambers of influence since 2002. While he took power in 2010 by a contested elections, which the opposition claimed was rigged in his favour.

What is striking is that Yanukovych isn’t favoured or popular in any sort of fashion. His no Volodymyr Zelensky who won with a popular mandate in 2019. They are strikingly different… and therefore… it is a reason why Putin wants to have Yanukovych. Since he knows that his corruptible and a friend.

When Yanukovych went into exile he called the new government ‘fascists’ which is in-line with what Putin says about Kyiv these days. That why you know his a person of interest in Moscow. The former President will be a traitor and a gangster of the Russian Federation. As he will serve them and not the people of Ukraine. He will only be their marionette and not a representive of Kyiv.

That Putin chooses a man like this, a corrupt and Pro-Russian leader shows how he values Ukraine. It is clear that he rather have a sort of fella like this, than a sort of leader with integrity like Zelensky.

The world should know this and everyone should just look at the man he vouches for. His not a trusted man or a genuine character. Then again, he favours Belarus President Alexander Lukaschenko… so we know his friends is the popular, the righteous or the ones who has a democratic backbone. He prefers tyrants and dictators who a loyal to him and nothing else. Peace.

Ukraine: Russian Minister of Defence Shoigu lies about the civilian targets in Ukraine

The Russian Federation and their high ranking official are continuing to call it a “special military operation”. Though we know this is a huge campaign of war and a vicious conflict, which isn’t just a security detail trying to fetch some hoodlums on the outskirts of Kyiv. That’s how the Russian President and Kremlin make it sound like. While we are seeing air-raids, missiles, troops and mechanical divisions, which is invading the Ukrainian territory. These Russian-Belorussian armies are assaulting and bombing Ukrainian territory…

We know the Russian bombs and missiles are hitting civilian targets and are not even close to military targets, which the Russian army claims. It is easily to see, as public buildings, squares and high-rises are hit by the raids. So, what Sergei Shoigu is saying today is disgraceful, as it is a full blown war.

Just read these statements from TASS today!

Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu.“The grouping of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will continue to conduct a special military operation until the goals are achieved,”” (…) ““The main thing for us is to protect the Russian Federation from the military threat posed by Western countries that are trying to use the Ukrainian people in the fight against our country,” he said” (…) ““I emphasize that strikes are carried out only on military facilities and exclusively with high-precision weapons,” he added” (…) ““During the clashes, the Ukrainian side does not hesitate to use civilians as human shields. Multiple launch rocket systems, guns, large-caliber mortars are placed in the courtyards of residential buildings, near schools and kindergartens,” he said. He thanked the personnel “for courage and heroism, conscientious and professional fulfillment of the tasks.”” (TASS – ‘Shoigu: Russian army will continue special operation in Ukraine until its goals are achieved’ 01.03.2022).

That the Russians says this and spreads this in Russian media. It shows what they are willing to say. There is no bound of their deception and lies. It is completely false, as museums, galleries and kindergartens has been hit by the air-raids. While public buildings and housing complexes too. This being done to Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkov and Kherson. We are seeing video-clips, pictures and the numbers of dead and wounded.

This is why the Russians are using the artillery, missiles and bombs to conquer Ukraine. They are using this because they cannot win on the ground and the will of Ukraine was much stronger than what the Russian anticipated. While the Russians has also struggled with the logistics and how they planned invasion of the Ukraine.

We are seeing a bloodshed and a harm, which is made by the Russian-Belorussian army in Ukraine. Army General Shoigu can lie and try to deceive all he wants, but that doesn’t make it more true. This is the sort of defence a barbaric invader does to reason for their brutal attack on humanity and possible war-crimes in Ukraine. They are trying to make the victims and fatalities into justified sacrifices for their war.

The Russian high ranking officials are trying to clean the blood from their hands, but the stains are not going off that easily. Peace.

Ukraine: Russia calls EU’s arms support a ‘hot war’ and warns EU citizens to not support the Ukrainian army

EU citizens and entities involved in the delivery of lethal weapons, fuel and lubricants to Ukraine will bear responsibility for any consequences of such actions to manifest themselves during the ongoing special military operation. They cannot fail to understand how dangerous these consequences are” (Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 28.02.2022).

The Russian-Belorussian invasion of Ukraine is on it’s fifth day. While there been talks, but they clearly only opened for further talks at a later date. Meaning there is nothing substantial yet, but the warfare is ongoing and the Belorussian counterparts didn’t hold their promises. As they sent missiles and troops from Belarus onto Ukraine. Meaning they broke the promise, which the President Lukachenko was broken even before words was uttered at the meeting. Therefore, the distrust of Kyiv was justified and Minsk should understand that.

Alas, we are seeing an expected Russian hard-line towards the European nations and European Union, which has decided to support Ukraine. They are now not only sending “prayers and thoughts” but supporting with weapons, artillery-weaponry and even fighter-planes, which it is now supporting the substantial parts of Ukraine’s defence without sending direct troops on the ground. Meaning, the EU and European allies are now giving vital support of the war effort in Ukraine and being a partner of Kyiv.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says this as well:

Once again, as many times in history, weapons coming from German soil will be directed against Russian soldiers. Against this background Scholz’s assurances about the importance of the process of historical reconciliation between the peoples of Germany and Russia sounded particularly cynical, with this decision, Germany calls on the ghosts of not a cold, but the very hot war. Too many sad associations are evoked by the prospect of further ‘military’ pumping of Kyiv by Berlin, which, apparently, does not realize that in the current situation, the weapons supplied on Ukrainian territory can easily become the prey of neo-nazis, terrorists and looters on Ukrainian territory” (Russian Foreign Minister Spokesperson Maria Zakharova, 28.02.2022).

We are now seeing the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are not only directing their anger towards the crowdfunding exercise of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. It is also directed at the military equipment, weapons and direct support of Ukraine from Europe/EU. This was anticipated, as the other party would react to the willingness to do so. If it didn’t cause a stir or reaction, it wouldn’t be effective. Ukraine needs this support and weaponry to be able to stagnate the Russian advances and ability to continue to defend itself. This is why the Russian wants neither citizens or states to support Ukraine. Since, they hope to overpower and conquer Ukraine quicker, because the Russians see this as a life-line to Kyiv.

We should expect that Moscow wouldn’t take it kindly to the military support of Kyiv. However, Moscow should also understand that they are using all their allies and possible connections to boost their war-effort. So, it is only reasonable for Kyiv to do the same, but in a war… everything gets amplified and any party will easily get violated. It should be expected that Moscow would react, but in the case of the Ukraine war. Europe is now unified and Russia feels butt-hurt. As Russia is becoming more distant and more alone.

The Russians has already sent warnings to the neighbours and former USSR republics. They are now sending it to the European Union (EU), Germany and the EU citizens, which is anticipated. As they are supporting the war-effort of their enemy in Ukraine. However, Europe support Ukraine here.

So, Moscow is lonely here and it is not like the EU citizens or European countries will feel the ramifications yet. However, there might be more hostile future diplomatically and lack of mutual meeting grounds between them. As the sanctions and weapons transfers are hitting Moscow hard. Peace.
