Opinion: CENI Postpones the provincial results, they need more time to cook the results!

Well, the Elections of 30th December 2018 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which were supposed to be delivered the partial results today on the 6th January 2019. They are now officially postponed, if this isn’t a message, then nothing is. This is the CENI and the FCC preparing the results in their favour, as they need more time to cook the results. Even as the CENCO and Opposition knows there is something wrong with the authorities. Who are working on overtime, to secure fixed results. To say otherwise is naive at this point.

The CENI, Kabila and FCC are playing with the public, as they are avoiding the delivery of the results, as they want to secure the numbers in their favour. There are nothing else to say at this stage. This is the misuse of power, lack of respect of the voters and the citizens. If they were respected, the CENI would deliver the counted numbers quicker and close to New Years Eve. As it shouldn’t be this hard to announce the counted results, as the verified polling stations forms should have been scanned or delivered within short amount time.

This is all deliberate acts of deception and taking the public for fools, as the CENI and administration there. Knows that CENCO and others, has results and provincial results, which states certain things. That CENI and Kabila will not accept. They are trying to forge a road, where the heir gets in power. That seems like whole idea.

Because today is the 6th January 2019, it has been 8 days since the polls. The CENI is trying to forge their way. While the authorities have ensured a black-out, so that information of the elections is not on social-media and elsewhere. As the evidence and partial results will not be spread. That is showing the works of the government, as they don’t trust the public or the freedom of information. As they have even continued to block the internet, social media and also SMS as well.

Therefore, we can really question and we can have a feeling why the CENI is doing this. They wouldn’t need this long time to deliver and ensure the announcement the results, unless, they needed time to cook the results. Because, it cannot be this hard to official announce the polls. Unless, they want to play the public for fools. Peace.
