Opinion: DP Ruto is a barefaced liar!

Deputy President William Ruto seems to be the kind that lives on his lies. He continues to make them up for his own benefit. Just like the other day, he claimed there was no one dying of starvation in Turkana. Today, on this Sunday, he claimed there was no place in Kenya, there was an earthquake.

However, it is stated by serious agencies and outfits, world-wide as such, which follows earthquakes, that there was one today in Taita Taveta, at the magnitude of 4.8. Even so, the Deputy President are still claiming this was fake news and made to hurt him personally.

The only thing hurting him personally, his pride and his office. Is his lies, his deceptions and his lack of moral backbone. He has no problem to cheat, steal and blame anyone else for doing. This man has no trouble to spin, play around the bush or even create another enemy. Than, look into himself and his own cronies. To see, that its his own making and his own actions, that has gotten him here.

Not, that the Deputy President created the earthquake today, no, he didn’t and he wouldn’t been able to stir the pot of UNGA enough even, to make it thick enough. However, the DP is trying to deflect and become a victim. When, the public of several towns are and when other people felt the quake today. That is what is insane.

That the DP, whose not long ago claimed there was no hurt, no deaths as a result of famine and drought. Is now claiming there was no earthquake. What will this man, say or do to stay in power?

Well, eventually everything. He will do and say whatever it takes to stay in office. This man got no scruples, no heart or no confidence in humanity. Other, than his own career and his own assets. Clearly, that is why he acts this irrational. Acts which is beyond ordinary comprehension.

At least his boss, the President is a one-track Pony who ones in while comes with warnings of fighting corruption and taking down his cronies, when we all know that will never happen. Unless, God strikes with anger and fury, maybe even spill every gallon Brookside Milk into the streets. Just to prove, that his playful words isn’t any fun anymore. Because, the President has said and come with similar to often to make it seem feasible, to ever happen.

Alas, I am not talking about the President, but his deputy, which has overstepped again. A man who has no heart for other things than his own BIG, GIGANTIC EGO. A man of such stature, that he got nor quarrel stirring the pot, but blaming the stove for heating it up. That is the man, that is second in command at the moment, Even if CS Fred Matiang’i got a special place in the heart and mind of the President.

However, this earthquake, just proves again, what the DP Ruto will do. What DP Ruto will say. If people still kneel and believe his words. You got it coming for you. If you believe or even thinks for a second, that his statements are justified. You got it coming for you. You will be hurt, you will be played and most likely, be on the failing end or the losing end. Because, that is what he got for you, since you was stupid enough believing in him in the first place. He got you and he knows it. Therefore, he can plant whatever message he wants in your head. Instead, of actually seeing it for your own self.

What is the sad part, DP Ruto is not alone. There is plenty in the cabinet and in the Parliament that is just like him. Nevertheless, he is the symbol of these actions and closest to King. That is why his words matter more. Peace.

Aidah Nantaba MP survives an assassination attempt in Kampala!

Today there is news on one of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s favourite ministers, the State Minister for ICT Aidah Nantaba, whose been an Member of Parliament since 2011. Whose lost in the recent National Resistance Movement Primaries, even as she tried to scam herself in for a second term as the NRM MP Flagbearer for Kayunga District. Instead was one of the former NRM MPs who ran as a Independent and actually won in 2015.

She has been called untouchable, a favourite, because of close relations with the President. As she has been calling the President “Daddy” and him calling her Daughter”. Who knows why, but something must give to get into that close proximity of His Excellency.

Alas, now as there been speculation of a relations with the People Power Deputy Francis Zaake during 2018, which is unverified, but the pictures of them to together went viral online. Whatever it is, she surely knows how to stir the public speculation. Just like it has done in the past with the President too.

However, because of everything. She is clearly not untouchable anymore, as she was in the spotlight for the wrong reasons today.

Minister Aidah Nantaba says she’s “traumatized” but “grateful to God” following an apparent assassination attempt today; assailants riding on a sport bike reportedly opened fire on her car in Naggalama prompting her security to respond, killing one of the gunmen” (NBS Television, 24.03.2019).

Aidah Nantaba (Nrm) Woman MP for Kayunga District has cheated death after an assassination attempt by unknown assailants that were following Her Today morning . However , One of the Gunmen was shot dead by Nantaba’s escorts” (87.7 Kampala FM, 24.03.2019).

Who knows why this is happening today? Is it because she is slowly moving away from the President and gets enlighten by the People Power Movement or is that she’s getting truly independent, but still knows she needs the pay-check of the Ministerial Position.

Because, who knows, but there been other assassination in the mere past, political and where the MP or high ranking security official just been killed by unknown motorcycle killers on the streets of Kampala. This isn’t a new feature in politics in Uganda. This is a mere reflection of how brutal and sinister the political life is.

She cheated death and a direct planned attempt on her life today. Its a sign that she has been to vocal or considered her place, in a manner, where the high-above doesn’t accept. Even as she has been a loyal cadre, a two time minister and run for the cause of the NRM. Still, that is not enough, as might even be questioning the reasons to stay on this path. Because, something is up, when suddenly the same kind of killers, that gotten rid of Abiriga and Kaweesi is turning up and pulling up to her.

We can just question this, as there been plenty of these, the regime is keeping their hands close and the wisdom, even closer. But this is yet another sign of how far the mobsters of the government take it. Because, this sort of crime will not be solved, just be buried in bunch of papers in the Central Police Station or at CMI, Kireka.

Don’t expect to know who ordered the hit, but certainly someone did. Peace.

WHO reaffirms commitment to the Democratic Republic of the Congo as Ebola outbreak nears 1 000 cases amid increased violence (23.03.2019)

WHO calls on international community to join urgent push to end outbreak

As the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) approaches 1 000 cases amid increased violence, WHO reaffirmed its commitment both to ending the outbreak and working with the government and communities to build resilient health systems.

Since the outbreak was declared in August 2018 there have been 993 confirmed and probable cases and 621 deaths in North Kivu and Ituri provinces.

“We use words like ‘cases’ and ‘containment’ to be scientific, but behind every number is a person, a family and a community that is suffering,” said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. “This outbreak has gone on far too long. We owe it to the people of North Kivu to work with them in solidarity not only to end this outbreak as soon as possible, but to build the health systems that address the many other health threats they face on a daily basis.”

More than 96 000 people have been vaccinated against Ebola in DRC, along with health workers in Uganda and South Sudan. As of 21 March, 38 of 130 affected health areas have active transmission. More than 44 million border screenings have helped to slow the spread of Ebola in this highly mobile population. No cases have spread beyond North Kivu and Ituri provinces, and no cases have crossed international borders.

However, the risk of national and regional spread remains very high, especially when episodes of violence and instability impact the response.

“As we mourn the lives lost, we must also recognize that thousands of people have been protected from this terrifying disease,” said Dr Matshidiso Moeti, WHO Regional Director for Africa. “We are working in exceptionally challenging circumstances, but thanks to support from donors and the efforts of the Ministry of Health, WHO and partners, we have saved thousands of lives.”

WHO has more than 700 people in DRC and is working hard with partners to listen to the affected communities and address their concerns and give them greater ownership of the response, particularly in the current outbreak hotspots of Katwa and Butembo.

“The communities affected by this outbreak are already traumatized by conflict,” said Dr Tedros. ”Their fear of violence is now compounded by fear of Ebola. Community engagement takes time. There are no quick fixes. But we are learning and adapting to the evolving context every day.”

Despite the challenges, most communities accept response interventions. More than 90% of those eligible for vaccination accept it and agree to post-vaccination follow-up visits. Independent analysis of vaccination data indicate that the vaccine is protecting at least 95% of those who receive it in a timely manner. More than 80% of people also accept safe and dignified burials, a key to preventing onward transmission.

“Despite the increased frequency of attacks by armed groups, WHO will stay the course and will work with communities to end this outbreak together with the Ministry of Health and partners,” said Dr Tedros. “We need redoubled support from the international community, and a commitment to push together to bring this outbreak to an end.”

For the next 6 months, the combined financial need for all response partners is at least $148 million. As of 19 March, $US 74 million had been received.

“We count on donors to help close the funding gap so we can end this outbreak as soon as possible,” said Dr Tedros. “We will still be in DRC long after this outbreak has finished, working with the government and communities on the road to universal health coverage. We are committed to improving the health of the people of DRC now and in years to come.”

Opinion: President Pierre is a Waka-Doodle!

Do you have hands? Excellent. That’s a good start. Can you hold a pencil? Great. If you have a sketchbook, open it and start by making a line, a mark, wherever. Doodle”Chris Riddell

President Pierre Nkurunziza is vein soul, a man whose so soft and weak, in such a manner that three school kids got arrested for doodling a little over a picture of him. The Head of State, His Excellency, the Commander-in-Chief and ruler of the Republic of Burundi.

Was not only offended, was not only hurt, but got so shocked and insulted by a little doodling on his picture in a class room by three school-girls at the age of 15,16 & 17 years old. That he got the arrested and detained for playing a little with some pencils/crayons on a picture of the President.

If doesn’t sound foolish, sounds like a bad joke, like a kiddish reaction to kids playing nothing does. That the Burundian authorities acts like this to send a message as preventative measure to tell the Republic what to do and not to do. Certainly, the President and his henchmen has gone overboard.

This is far from the worst acts of the sinister CNDD-FDD, whose either detain, kills or gets their enemies into exile. The CNDD-FDD are using violence, intimidation and the state apparatus combined with Imbonerkure, which controls and stops the ones who questions the authority or the legitimacy of it. They will hunt you down, get you violated and get rid of you, if they have too. That is just what the CNDD-FDD has done since 2015. There been countless of victims by this. Therefore, the arrests and sentencing of the three school-girls isn’t directly shocking, but more a stupid move. Showing the disgraceful state of affairs are happening in the Republic.

Pierre Nkurunziza, if he thinks this is the way to show authority and get respect. He is totally wrong. His state is showing no mercy, is showing no humility and certainly no grace. There is no justice in this, they cannot have violated any serious law or code of law, by doodling over the picture of the President. Except for mocking the President and his looks by penning over it.

If they had published it, if they had made a contest or even tried to make a mocking ceremony and officially introduced that. It might had been questionable, but still not serious. This was youths, doing what youth does, they do this over dinosaurs, plants, animals or whatever printed papers in-front of them. That is what they do. Maybe, Pierre haven’t any youths, playing with pencils and crayons all over it. They either make rainbows, unicorns or whatnot, whatever the imagine. In this instance just poking fun at their President.

That Pierre doesn’t understand that, the his henchmen, his YES-MEN and other around doesn’t that. Is beyond me. If that was to set an example. Than it was an example in being STOOOPID, sorry, Stupid.

This was not brilliant, was not wise or even seen as genuine, the judges are fools, tools of oppression over nothing. They didn’t do a crime or even set an example of criminal intent. They were kids doing kids stuff. If not, the state should stop printing pictures of the President. Since, he is holier than God and cannot be used crayons on. That is how DUMB this is.

President Nkurunziza is not the envy of the world. If he would be, he wouldn’t worry about some school-girls doodling over his picture and possible sentence them to 5 years in prison over it. That is just how insane his state is. The message he sends, is that he is a paranoid leader, who needs blind following like a cult-leader, who cannot be touched or done against, unless he let it happen. Surely, no one beats the team he plays, when he plays football. The same in this scenario.

The saddest part is that, this a re-occurrent issue, which several of other school-children and youths gotten in legal trouble for doing. There was plenty of cases on this in 2016 and it has been revamped this week. Where even two pupils from 2016, was detained as reported until 2018. However, I don’t know if they are still behind bars.

If it takes such a small measure to insult you as a Head of State. You shouldn’t be one. Your not that bright, not that great or not that holy, to not ever get insulted or offended by what people do. What people say, write or doodle. Sooner or later someone will do something, but if you don’t like it. You just pay it no mind and move-on to more important questions. Like how to get all regions food secure, how secure imports of vital products, how to get the economy stable for the 2020 elections and so on.

Not ensuring that three school-girls or youths are arrested for doodling. That is just silly, really really silly. Peace.
